Adehyeman stations is a pivot point for travellers into other regions, towns, villages etc. Here travelers moving to Accra, koforidua, sunyani, capel coast, takoradi, dunkwa, obuasi, techiman and the various towns nearby. There are other business not only for travelers but for people you want to do business, acquire goods for their business and more. The facility brings people from all walks of life, the rich, poor, needy etc seeking either for travel, "kayayo" peope; people who carry things or goods of others for money. If you looking for a safer way to your destination or things to buy for your commercial, domestic and private purposes don't look no further but chase the location opposite kumasi kejetia market. Go now!
I've come to know this market for quite a long time now. The market is a very busy area with a lot of people. There are vehicles available which convey people from to every part of the country and the customer service in terms of transport is excellent and I recommend it for everyone to give it a try. Is rather unfortunate that a market of this nature does not have a place where people who carryout business can respond to their nature's call when the need arises. I'm rating the market very low because it lacks basic infrastructures. I want to cease this chance to plead with the managers to take this into account to better this market. Thank you!!
Adehyeman station consist of so many motor unions and different destinations, Those from Kumasi can get vehicles to places like Accra,Tamale,Mampong,Sunyani and many other towns. The stores surrounding this station are those selling Televisions of all brands, spare parts for TV, radios etc. There pharmacy too and moat of all mobile phones and their accessories. Enough food vendors, slippers sellers, cold water vendors and not forgetting our lovely Kayayees.
This transit station is one that's always bustling with commuters ranging from all the 3 zones of the country (northern, middle and coastal zones) it appears you can get a bus heading to all major cities in Ghana. I mostly use this station when I'm traveling to anywhere Brong Ahafo. The place can be disorganized from time to time, especially at the entrance/exit area of the station. There are a number of stores and shops here as well.
A traditional transport station, tickets are not sold in advance, there is no specific departure time. As and when the the bus is full they take off. It's a collection of small medium and large size busses. It congested with a lot of traders selling different kinds of items both on the head, on a table or in a shop. It is close to the kejatia market and so you can get almost anything you want in or close to that area.
The market is very very over crowded with so many different varieties of goods and the movement of people in the market sometimes seems a little bit difficult. Despite these challenges, the market is very busy and I do recommend it to anyone who want to do business in market to chose this market. I can confidently point out that the consumers do exceed the suppliers and hence the demand for goods is very high.
Thinking of connecting a bus or commercial vehicle to any part of Ghana in kumasi?? Then this is the place to be. Offers 24/7 terminal with buses moving to almost every region in Ghana. A typical Ghanaian bus terminal with Screams and shouts of drivers and assistants announcing their destination and soliciting for travellers and commuters. Just be smart to ensure you keep track of your luggages.
Easily located and for the most part very friendly and helpful attendants. The bus my husband and I used was extremely comfortable with plenty of leg space. Only drawback is it's very congested and can be disorganized (more during certain times of the day). If you can plan bus transportation at a time when it's not that congested and also arrive early if possible.
Acheamfour Market Station is verily close to Kejetia market and lorry station. There are a whole lot of buses and mini buses all over, most especially buses from Kumasi to Sunyani and Kumasi to Accra. The lorry station is surrounded by high storey-buildings full of rental store rooms. Bread sellers, yoghurts and pastries and certain foods can be found there.
I boarded a bus from Adehyeman station to Techiman. The station is less spacious but quite busy with alot of vehicles going to different destinations. It's quite fast because of the fact that the waiting time for boarding a vehicle and leaving is short. So I will recommend the station to everyone who want to travel to other cities in Ghana and are in Kumasi.
Always crowded, but for the first time in a while the access there from the Suame roundabout was without traffic and clear. Nice renovation around there with clear road markings. I prefer here to the metro bus station though. There is a bus ready to go to most destinations not the best arrangement of buses but asking around gets you to the bus you need.
Nice environment and arrangement of Buses. Buses really take off as early as possible because many are the passengers who prefer this station as compared to other bus stations in Kumasi. In addition, you can get anything a traveler needs for comfortability there, thus, from foods to clothing. Washrooms are also available and they are well kept as well.
There's easy access to passenger vehicles packed at the station. The entrance is wheelchair accessible making it easier for the physically challenged to access. You can easily a passenger bus to Accra, Sunyani, Techiman, Goaso and alot other destinations. I gave Adehyeman 4 stars due to poor sanitation inside the car park itself.
Are you a trader, and probably wondering where to purchase some items for your store, this is the best place to trade, they have quality product which are relatively cheaper in price as compared to others, this station also has a transport system to all neighbouring towns and it is affordable...
A very busy transport station. Filled with a lot of vehicles and people, travellers, hawkers and traders. Cars at this station goes to almost any part of the country. Cars go all way to the north of Ghana and the south of Ghana. It's just only too busy with cars all crowded at the place.
Best place for locating a bus for your destination. But the road are small with traders trading along side. The traffic is terrific here you gotta feel very discomfort when going into the station and moving out. Bad and narrow road you can be in the traffic for about 40 mins or so
Get all kinds of clothing, shoes and bags for both kids and adults. I bought a dress and a bag for my girlfriend birthday party and she really love it. Weather: very cold during the morning UV: about 8km Humidity: 15% The place is close to Ashantiman Senior high school kumasi
There are cars going to several parts of the country here, the fare is manageable and also a good place to carry out your business, since there a lot of people always there. Other businesses are available apart from the station cars like food joints, etc
Its a place you can get car to various places like berekum, sunyani,wa etc and around the place to variety of things to buy bread, clothing, watch etc but there are two types of vehicles so you have verify before buying a ticket the sprinter and big buses
The place is not bad. Only that the place is overcrowded. When you go there to board a vehicle, the vehicle becomes fill as early as possible but it can take a long time before the vehicle come out of the premises to the main road due to inside traffic.
The place is nice apart from the congestion . I went upstairs to use the urinal which was in good condition . I even encouraged and showed appreciation to the cleaner at the time. I actually had a nice wewee without thinking about candidises or white
It's a very busy place. Goods are sold by the road on either sides and it is located in the middle of Kumasi the regional capital of the Ashanti region. It's opposite Kajetia and noted for it's bussy nature. All kinds of goods are sold here too
Getting to the station is a bit cumbersome, but would improve after the completion of the nearby Kejetia Market Complex. Station space is small so buses are crammed in there. Buses available to many destinations across Ghana from the station.
This place makes traveling across the country easier. There are all kinds of cars and buses to take travelers to their various destinations. Food vendors are also around and in this place. You can also get snacks and other stuff.
I love this bus station simply because they get the job done well. That much, I'm so pleased. It's way better off than the NEOPLAN station--Trust me, folks. Edits: Their services are still pleasant--I still make use of it.
The place is so crowded and drivers who drive around that area has no respect for pedestrians. It is safer if u put your valueables in a bag and hang it in front of you. Anyway you can get buses to any part of the country.
The area is crowded. The place is busy too. But you can get vehicle to various regions in Ghana. They have both mini medium and large buses to choose from. There is the availability of various snacks to get you energised.
Quite choked yet operational as the other bus stations in Kumasi. Well they don't have timings for departure of buses but what seem to amaze me is how they can predict and get the time for departure somehow correct.
It a very busy lorry station, of various vehicles to different destinations across the nation. It is a nice place but very small with many 'bookmen' fighting to get passengers to board thier respective vehicles.
Oh yeah! The multi-faceted cars, the hasslers, the political arguments, the loud shouts through megaphones for passengers, the noise that tells you that life isn't so easy for everyone, bla bla bla. All is there
Has lorries going to various places. However, some of these are rickety and they overload with luggage and market goods. This makes it uncomfortable when on board especially when seated at the last two rows.
Busy place as a market and station. You can get transport to other parts of Ghana. Both long buses and mini-buses. Access roads to the station is quite challenging especially if you are driving on your own.
It is a nice place where a lot towns and cities car can be got for all ur travelling within the country. The only thing that is a backset is there is disorder in car arrangement for easy identification
It's a stressful place, plenty people with slow movement. But you can get everything you want to buy at very affordable prices and you can get different cars to every part of Kumasi or Ashanti Region
This is a one of the places you can get bus to anywhere around Ghana. If you don't get a car or bus here to your destination, then I doubt you can get a car anywhere else in Kumasi.
The place so packed and difficult to move through. I had to alight and give my suit cases to headporters. I think Sunyani station needs to be relocated. It's been like this since.
Because today was Sunday and also they were observing some rule which implies that today is a must for everyone in that area to partake in communal labour market was quite slow
You can get bus to every region in Ghana but l took a bus Sunyani about two weeks ago and we nearly had an accident, saviour was written on the bus pls kindly check your buses
Coming from Techiman to Kumasi and then forwarding to Asafo market to Takoradi station is very cumbersome. I propose passengers are rather alighted at Asafo Markey instead
This bus station is mighty busy. Be sure to ask 2 or more people when I doubt. Fare wasn't exactly expensive from here but the trotros are packed to their maximum capacity
Though many general buses and lorries to different places are available but it's such a busy and small to me. Aside this from my view, everything goes on as it should.
At Adehyeman Station you can get car to many places even remote ones su h as Kaase, Nkrankwanta, Kaase, Yawmatwa etc. Buses, minibuses and vans are of a good choice.
Achemfour market ,a very renowned market in Kumasi, a lot of businesses go on there and there is a bus terminal inside.there is no place to sit to wait for a bus.
Thought the venue seemed congested, buses move in and out freely. It was easy with me getting to my bus. Passenger flow too was fast so the waiting time is short.
No large space for convenience However, the right transport station to go to when travelling to places like Bono region, Northern regions, Western region etc.
It was really busy and will be difficult to navigate through if you are there for the first time or a stranger there. But once you get the hang of it, cool.
This station is well known and vehicles going to all destinations do not delay at all. Very affordable prices for you to travel at your easiest pace.
Fast moving long travelling busses from kumasi to Sunyani, and otherwise. It is located right by the roadside. With patience and experienced drivers
A convenient bus station for Bono region, Mampong, Northern parts of the country. Very useful place for travelling and also has a market within too.
Not having much space for car parking. Difficulty in getting out from the station after loading but the place is neat and free from dust and debris.
No place to sit when waiting for bus. You have to stand in the sun till bus come if even it will take you two hours, still you will be in the sun
Sanitation has gone down. Toilet facilities need replacement to meet standard. The place is also over crowded with vehicles and pity traders.
Human movement between buses is okay. Entry and exit of card not too much a problem Buses to many places; inside and outside Ashanti Region
Not only in this market but in most of the markets across the country, the managers have to let orderliness and cleanliness prevail.
I went in there to get phone accessories and I quality and affordable items. Just ask of Falcao or Stephen and you'll understand me.
The place is most pleasant in the afternoon. It has about six to eight bus terminals conveying people to various places across Ghana.
The fastest way to get to sunyani and a lot of places outside kumasi, your safety as well as the safety of your luggage is assured
As a result of the Fast loading and moving vehicles, there is always vehicular traffic. Pick a car from here to any part of Ghana
Find Vehicles moving from Kumasi to several parts of old Brong Ahafo here... Places like Tepa, sunyani, Mim, Brekum, Sampa.. etc
It has a very large number of people there. Which consist of sellers, buyers and travelers. I will say its a very nice place.
The place was ok. The drivers and their conductors was nice to everyone who came there to pick a bus to their destination
U can get a bus to any part of Bono,Bono East, Ahafo, Accra, Tema and some selected town in the northern part or Ghana
Car really moves fast there than any other station..the only difficult is when leaving the premises after car is full
Get all buses n vehicles moving intercity here. Very noisy atmosphere but the best, if you wanna get there quickly.
Very busy market station with several avenues for transport. Places of convenience are not far within reach.
Very crowded, but you can get buses to almost all parts of Ghana. Nice food joints and big market around it.
It s a busy place. Some of the buses load quite fast. One must, however, be wary and keep his eyes open
Their drivers are good and always has the passengers at heart in so far as transportation is concerned
A well organized market with a lot of passenger vehicles. A place you can count on when travelling
Busy market with all types of goods one needs.. Nice traders to customers and neat environment.
A business terminal to every region in the country alot of shops or trading and have a school
Good place to board a bus to sunyani however the toilet there is not in good condition at all
The place is very populated and not tidy.the waste management guys should up their game
I love Achemfuor Station when it comes to travelling to Accra, Cape Coast and more
The bus station is too crowded. But there are shops that sell everything you need.
How waste is managed here, I suggest the authorities should do something about it
The place is overcrowded and congested though, but very easy locate from kejetia
The place is very cool but the food prices is very high here in Bechem …
It's a pretty good place to get your groceries and bus. It's really crowded.
A good station to pick bud to your destination but the place is very dirty.
cars move relatively fast at the station. No air conditioned cars though
I'm not happy of the standard of the station because it's much congested
Real crowded, long distances buses available to different parts of Ghana
Very Nice and Busy place to pick vehicle to any part of the country.
A good place to get car wherever you are travelling to from kumasi
It's the best place to get a bus from Kumasi to Sunyani/Berekum
A nice place for traveling vehicles to Sunyani and other places
Too much crowded, especially in morning and everything.
Here's a good place to take a car to travel …
A place providing transport service and market as well
Renders deserved service but can be overly congested
Easy to get transport or bus to your destination
Services of the drivers and their mates are good
Was there to board a car to the eastern region
