During August 2023, we were travelling through eastern Europe. Arriving in Dubrovnik the rear brakes broke. I went to Auto Ragusa, which seemed a very good place from the reviews, and at the place they attended me quickly and tried to find a solution immediately so I could keep driving. After finding the pieces, they changed the two rear pistons and the jaws (500 euros). The day after, I had to go back because the brakes were still not braking, I had to pump several times to get a breaking force. They purged the air out of the system again, and they told me I had to drive 100 km to get the brakes working, but to tell them if I had any problems on the way, so they could send me to some colleagues in other cities to take care of that. I start driving and the next day, after 200/300 km I try to contact the machanic of this place (the one who left me the contact) to get help with the brakes, which were still giving me problems, but I had no help, because he made us wait all afternoon to "wait for him to let us know where to go". The day after (2nd day) I call the manager ( I had to drive more km because I had to keep going toward italy), who told me was my fault to have contacted the wrong person (how could I know their agreements?) and he tells me he can send me to Spalato or Zara to a friend, but this friend told him (in the late afternoon after many hours of wait) he would have been available just the day after, but we couldn't wait because we had to go back to italy at any cost. So he told me to go carefully and that as soon as I'd have arrived in italy I had to check with a mechanic, and to tell him if the problem was something about the job they did, so he could arrange me a refund or something to fix all this. So, when we arrived, after a long, not easy at all drive, I went to the mechanic and the problem he found was that the pistons are not the exact proper one, as they have bigger oil holes inside, so the braking force and how the oil pressure works can't ever be the same, because the system is not calibrated for that size of holes, and he tells me that to fix it I need to change all again. So I get his report and I send everything to Mario, the manager, asking him to find an agreement between us to be able to solve this. He tells me he will chech and get back to me, that is not simple but he will check and get back to me (9.11.2023). I tried to send other emails, but never got a reply ever again. So, this place seemed to me very good and the staff and the owner very professional and supportive, but when it came to a problem, this first impression was not confirmed at all. Two months have passed, and they disappeared.

We came to dubrovnik with our vw t6. As we arrived on the camping I recognized strange sounds and vibrations coming from the coupling. So i called the road assistance. He confirmed my impression so he recommended to go to auto ragusa only a few minutes away from the campsite. So I went there quite early in the morning around 7.45 and got a warm welcome. They said that they first have to analyze what is wrong with the car. So I left the car there. Than they identified the broken parts and ordered new original parts for replacement. I was lucky that they could care about us german tourists directly. The whole communication was transparent and the costs for the repair were also fair as I could understand every Step. So i was really satisfied with the communication and the result. We than could continue the roadtrip to Albania. Thanks a lot for Your quick help!

Super Service, wir waren auf unserer Balkan Reise unterwegs und das Auto Citroen (C2 vtr) hat Probleme gemacht. Als wir bei Auto Ragusa angekommen sind, wurde uns uebrigens von unserem Gastgeber empfohlen, hat uns einer der Mitarbeiter (Belmondo) sofort empfangen. Wir waren unter Zeitdruck, da die Reise weitergehen sollte, mein Auto wurde sofort unter die Lupe genommen und war nach wenigen Stunden fertig. Wir haben in der Zeit in der bekannten Uvala Lapad eine Kaffee getrunken (von Belmondo erklaert und empfohlen). Das Preis Leistungsverhaeltnis ist mehr als gerecht und unserer Reise nach Griechenland stand nichts mehr im Wege. Vielen lieben Dank an das Auto Ragusa Team, ihr habt unseren Urlaub gerettet.

Hatte nachmittags einen Klimakompressor Schaden.Die Pannenhilfe Peta fuhr mich sofort zu Ragusa! Die reparierten mein auto nach Feierabend provisorisch, damit ich meinen Urlaub wieder fortsetzen konnte. Super Team/ super Monteur!!!! Sowas wäre in Deutschland unmöglich...... Excellent service. I took an old UK model VW Passat in with a minor problem. They checked it on the computer, test drove it and reassured me that it was nothing serious and OK to carry on driving. They didn't even charge me. Totally brilliant and friendly - I would recommend them to anyone.
