I just experienced the WORST customer service ever!!!!! Another customer and I entered the store at 7:57 pm today. The store closes at 8 pm. The door was already closed, (again, it was only 7:55 pm when they closed it), so we entered when someone else exited. It was three minutes before the store officially closed. When the other customer and I walked in, the cashier yelled at ME only, even though the other customer was right behind me. I had to get one item. As I was walking to get it, she yelled at me saying, "Ma'am, we're closed!!!!!!" I said that it's not even 8 yet. Then shouting at this point, "I'm not checking you out!!!!!" She said that she's not going to ring me up. Meanwhile, there were other people in line, one ahead of me. I got in line and the guy who entered with me was right behind me. She started yelling at me very loud, at full volume, that she's not ringing me up. They're closed. That *I'M* holding them up from closing. Again, there were people in line after me. I kept saying that I was in the store BEFORE 8. The more I spoke, the louder she got! Saying it is now 8:01 pm. It was a literal shouting match at this point. I asked her why she's only yelling at me when there were other people in line. The guy behind me stepped in and stood up for me. There was another worker making wisecracks against me saying, "all that over eggs?" She continued to yell at me during and after the transaction. I didn't even get a receipt. I just wanted to get out of there. The customer behind me spoke to the other worker to ask for her manager. He said that she is the manager. Which is hard to believe given how unprofessional and ghetto she behaved. That other customer and I stood in the parking lot talking about the incident. He said that she didn't say a word to him probably because he was a white man. I was in the parking lot, only to discover that a man was in the store 15-20 minutes after I was just berated for coming in 3 minutes before closing. Nothing was said to him either. I feel that I was targeted. She was an African American woman. Very loud and unprofessional. Usually, everyone is very friendly at this store. I'm escalating this to corporate.
Aldi’s is an excellent place to shop with good prices and great Whole Foods. I went there today which was 4/21/22. I picked up some groceries and a couple of other products. Got to the checkout line at 10:56 A.M. The cashier at the checkout line was very amazing. They’re accurate and fast. I had a problem with my card and the cashier was patient enough to help me and walk me through it. There were 3 people in line and the cashier didn’t get angry about helping me. A lot of companies don’t understand Customers Service can go a long way, it actually can make or break your business/company these days. The pandemic ruined a lot of Customers Service. “So” I just want to say I appreciate the cashier quality customer service, it actually made my morning and I can tell others to shop at Aldi’s. On the receipt the cashier’s name is Hannah. Give that young lady a raise.
I shop aldi weekly and most of the time twice a week. Multiple times I have bought meat items (pre-cooked and raw) that I have ended up throwing out as soon as I open them. Due to aldi stocking practices allowing items to sit out while trying to run a register and stock these items seem to go bad but still get stocked. I have returned items prior because of this and they never honor the 100% return and replacement policy. Your supposed to get your money back and a replacement. I have only ever gotten a replacement which I at least got that. Soooooo tired of bad products from here. I used to love shopping here it’s so hit or miss now. Bad stocking policies.
Aldi is so much improved since I started shopping there two decades ago. but a few things remain constant. you need a quarter for your cart. you need to bring reusable shopping bags. and the food is consistently good quality and affordable. specialty produce (cilantro, asparagus, blackberries) and gluten free items and organic selection is much better than they used to be. our shelves are filled with Aldi cans and Aldi pasta. our turkey and sliced cheese always comes from Aldi as it is the best deal around. we like their blue corn chips and the refrigerated salsa is pretty tasty. our kids have been raised on Aldi (and Trader Joe's!). good store.
I've been shopping at Aldi since I was in college. Back then my friends used to make fun of me. Little did they know 20+ years later they would be too. I guess I was just ahead of my time. Haha! Anyway, I love Aldi. This would be a five star for their low prices, nice variety of foods and other necessities, however my one complaint is they close a little too early for me. I don't know how many times we needed to grab something, but it was already closed or would be closed by time we arrived. 5 star if it was open until 10pm.
I recently started shopping here and I love it! It's usually not too busy, and the aisles are easy to navigate and find what I need. Can find some good markdowns sometimes on meat. Their brand of food has always been good in my opinion, and they have a decent selection of healthier foods. I also like some of the unique products that you find here. Prices are very affordable, and the checkout lines always move super quick! I actually like that I can move along and bag my own groceries. Pretty clean store too.
I love this Aldi always clean and bright atmosphere. Plenty of delicious plant based/vegan frozen meats at a reasonable price! Try there Vegan Quinoa crunch, chickenless patties and black bean burgers. They also have chickenless tenders, meatless meatballs, and vegan flame grilled beef patties. They also have name brand food items. The staff are friendly and quick getting you through the checkout line.
I love almost everything about aldi. Good food, great prices. And of anything isn't good, I like that they refund you and give you a replacement. But.... this location either needs to get another cashier, or open self checkout like some other locations. I frequently wait in lines with 6 or more customers in line at this location, and they don't call for additional check out help.
There are some goods worth getting here for the lower price. Other items I have learned to avoid because they spoil/mold over quickly after multiple purchases. I've spoken with 3 or 4 staff members who are polite, professional, and friendly. The store is clean amd easy to navigate. I also like the quarter for a cart rental as the parking lot won't have any stray carts about.
This was a very nice Aldi. It had a little more variety than a smaller Aldi we typically go to. Everything was stocked and fresh. Boxes and items were not crushed like I see in some other Aldi stores. It had plenty of room to spread out and the aisle ways were easily marked. The lines were a little long at checkout, but it went fairly fast considering.
I love coming to Aldi because everyone is so nice and so helpful. At this Aldi there was a blonde cashier and she was just very nice and very helpful. The store is beautiful I love the way it's laid out and I wish my Aldi was constructed the same way but I know they all have to be a little bit different. But thank you Aldi for who you are
Nice Store, recently opened Location.Typical Aldi's floorplan, slightly more open than the older Locations. Store would compare to the Lawrence Location. With both Locations being Modern and have the typical European Urban Market feel. Stores appears to be busy most of the time, as it replaced the 96th Street Location.
I stopped by Aldi’s yesterday. As I was going down the last aisle, a young lady called after me. She had something I dropped out of my pocket. It had my pills and several dollars in it. I did not get her name but I am sure she was an employee. That experience made me love Aldi’s even more than I already do.
Need a few more cashiers as I had to wait in line for a bit. The 2 working were doing their best, though, and the one that took care of me and others was very polite. Carts need to be looked at as some were not working properly. Overall, I like going there to shop.
Had to check out the new Aldi. I’m happy to say it was as great as the other locations I’ve visited. The store was clean and well-stocked and my cashier was fast and efficient. Given the proximity to my home, this will be my go-to grocery store going forward.
Aldi's Amazing place to shop because they care about the environment for not using plastic bags. Some of the employees do look overwhelmed at certain parts of the store, and the place needs more color to it if you ask me. Very nice though and has potential .
We absolutely love this store. Have spent over 40 years shopping at one store or another with Aldi. They offer the best prices and most items are "Made in America " with no gimmicks or tricks. Everything is up front and doesn't change
I love the variety, they change the food you get every week from their ads. I use their Staples that stay the same every week as well. They have a lot of low sodium foods. I just wish They Carried their plant-based food items all the time.
I love this franchise! They've wonderful produce and meat; their prices are phenomenal; and the employees are unfailingly kind! If you've never been, I strongly recommend giving this odd little chain a shot. You won't regret it. ❤️
Attempting to work with good price inflation, Aldi appears to have stock somewhere between bulk of the big box and high variety of Kroger. If you choices are standard products, should save. Good produce. Uncertain about butchery.
Cashier was efficient and friendly. We went around 7pm Monday and there were only 4-5 other shoppers in the store so social distancing would be easy. This Aldi's has limited canned soup offerings but plenty of win selection.
I can't tell you what my favorite thing about this store is because there are so many. Like today I found my favorite imported wine at a fantastic price and high quality hangers on sale just when I needed them. I love Aldi!
Very nice Aldi's. The nicest one I've been to. Wish it was nearer to me. The store looks very nice and of course their prices are excellent! The pricing is as good as Costco but you don't have to buy in bulk!
I can't wait for self checkout lanes to be added! I know the cashiers try their best but it's a struggle when you only have a couple items and there are people with carts full in front of you :(
It was great just started going there and I love it I'm actually thinking about applying for a cashier's job there I'm retired and I want something to do and I think I'd like to work there
My first visit to this location It was clean and organized. Nice variety. Spoke to two employees and they were friendly. The fresh fruits and salads look inviting and brought several home.
Everything was easy to find. Organics are important. And the young man who was on my register was very helpful and kind. He had a tattoo on his forearm sadly I did not get his name.
This particular Aldi store is quite spacious, with a large selection of products, store is clean, staff are friendly & helpful. Good prices as well. I would recommend it to anyone
I shop at Aldi's and I love the store. Most of them are always clean, customer service is good, but most of all, I go there and only there to purchase Raw honey! Go Aldi!
nice clean store with wide aisles. most everything is easy to find. helpful staff. Aldi brands are much cheaper and good quality. wise people shop at Aldi's
This is one of the nicest Aldis in Indy, but that's a given since it's in Castleton. But the produce is always great and the items are always stocked up.
Shop here early in the day for the best selection of goods. Store is always clean and orderly. Prices are equal or better than Kroger or Walmart.
This place is new and shiny! A great improvement to the empty spot in the strip mall. Located just to the east of the old Marsh.
There's not much you could go wrong with an Aldi. From each of my visits I can tell that the employees there are cared for and
Great location that is clean and stocked well. I always enjoy browsing the aisles for new deals and stocking up on essentials.
Good selection, wide aisles, clean and bright. Usually, there's a line at the checkout, but it always goes quick.
Only issue is that there was a nice amount of molded or expired fruit in the store. Other than that, very good!
Nice, big, clean. I like the wide aisles. Unfortunately they did not have mozzarella sticks when I was here!
Great selection of fresh, diverse offerings. This location should be the model for all Aldis.
