I use to love ADCB and would give it a 5 star but the following made me change my mind: 1) we often use our credit card to make purchases a lot then cover the payments from the current account using the mobile app. Sometimes, we unconsciously use the credit card to withdraw money from the ATM. It happened a couple of times and I covered the payment in the exact same minute. ADCB charges you 50 DHS regardless. Other banks drop the charge when you call then stating you did it by mistake and paid the amount immediately. ADCB doesn't. 2) I don't apply for loans anynore from ADCB. Beware of this. When you resign from your work and go to a new job. The moment your end of service hits your account, ADCB will use that money to cover all debt and any residual amount will be transferred to court! The process of obtaining a new visa takes time. ADCB lacks the brains to know this. They just tell you within two days everything should be covered or provide us with the new visa. No new visa comes out in two days. The paper approval is not enough. They want the visa sticker on your passport. DO NOT TAKE LOANS FROM ADCB!!! 3) I STOPPED using their mobile app to make 3rd party payments as I always make a payment, the amount gets deducted from my account but the payment did not reach the provider (etisalat, dewa, salik, etc.). This has happened multiple times and ADCB insists the amount has not been deducted. The bank statement shows otherwise and no reverse of amount over 1 year. The providers told me they did not receive anything and to check with the back. ADCB says nothing was deducted. A JOKE!
