I love this place! Super cheap but really delicious Chinese baked goods. They have all the staples but also some new things, like their pineapple bbq pork bun. My current favorite is their type of ham and egg bun, which has seaweed and spam in it. The staff are super nice, too :D They're very sweet and caring

Really excited by the renovation and new ownership of this neighborhood bakery. Nice selection of baked goods, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious baked bbq pork buns, pineapple tarts, and egg custard tarts. Honestly, the baked bbq baos are the best I have had in a while from any bakery in the Bay Area…and I don’t say that lightly. Can’t wait to try out their cakes and other goodies!

My favorite bun here is their twist on the ham and egg bun. They use spam, a slice of seaweed and a crispy sesame brioche bun. The egg tarts are good too. Their pork bun lacks a lot of pork. If you want to order a cake in advance, they have a booklet of designs. They can't do all the designs in the book. We wanted to get the One Piece design, but they didn't have the design kit.

This place has combined two of my favorite things in the world: Pineapple Buns, and BBQ Pork buns, into the Pineapple BBQ Pork Bun. Words cannot describe the pleasure of consuming one of these things. If there was a Nobel prize for Innovations in Baking, I would award it to this place every year. I don’t care if other bakeries make it. This is the one.

My first visit I wasn't impressed. The pork bun was pretty "light" with meat. But, I liked the "egg custard tart" (蛋挞) I tried it again recently but this time I ordered the BBQ Pork Pineapple bun. Very very good!!! I also ordered the Curry pastry. Pretty hood too. I'll be checking in again. Seems to be getting better and better.

New ownership and recently renovated space. Typical Chinese-style bakery with sweet cakes and savory buns. Just tried the scallion bun and sponge cake - both very fluffy and delicious. Will try the other bakery items but the egg tarts and 'wife' cookies look really good. All bakery items are reasonably priced. Cash only.

I tried their mini BBQ pork buns and pineapple red bean bun and they were all delicious. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the inside was clean and organized, and the prices were extremely fair. I got 3 buns for less than $4. 10/10

They use to make good stuff, now they really skimp out on what’s inside the bread, you raise prices and also use less fillings, you either raise price or cut portion, not both.

Chinese bakery with all the staples - hot dog buns, BBQ pork buns, egg tarts, wife cakes, pineapple buns, etc. Really friendly folks and credit cards accepted. Comparable quality to Cherry Blossom Bakery down the road.

Just moved into the neighborhood and very grateful to have had a pleasant visit to this bakery. Tried their wheat raisin loaf, ham & cheese bun, bbq pork bun, and cheesecake. Can’t wait to try all the rest! So yummy

Sponge cake was very soft and fresh, and the butterfly cookie was very tasty. The actual Bakery is very small and doesn't seem very exciting but the food is good.

I really like their HK style milk tea. Tea flavor is strong. It tastes perfect. Their egg tart is always warm, and the crust is …

New Owner - Excellent Chinese Bakery and courteous staff. Everything is so tasty. Great new addition in the neighborhood.

I eat the bread almost everyday, it's very good, would recommend since it's better than the surrounding ones …

Don't order the peanut cookie. Dryest thing ever. They should rename it the Desert Cookie (or just stop making it)

  • matthew ta

The pineapple pork buns are so good and they don’t skimp on the pork. Will definitely be coming back.

  • Graeme Bourne

Great buns! Especially enjoyed the curry and the spam&egg buns. Will be back.
