"Great selection for Asian ingredients, meats and produce"
"THE 99 Ranch Market was extremely clean"
"Great Asian grocery store offering a lot of fresh produce, a large variety of grocery products from rice, noodles, sauces, snacks, cookies, and drinks (mostly Asian and some American), fresh and live seafood, fresh meats, and lots of frozen items"
"It is my Fisrt time, by the name I thought will be Hispanic market but I was wrong is asian market"
"Nice clean shopping center with a good variety of stores and even an eye doc’s place in here"
Great selection for Asian ingredients, meats and produce. Excellent fresh fish area. They'll even clean, filet & fry the fish if you request. A few great store & restaurants inside too. Wide selections. Well priced items. Produce is usually in excellent shape. I enjoy the shopping experience at this store. UPDATE on 2/19/2021: I still stand by the 5 star review. I go here about once per month. Fresh produce, meat and fish selection. This time I chose to have the fresh fish descaled, cleaned & fried on the spot - totally worth the wait! UPDATE on 3/14/2021: still standing by my 5 star review. Had some more deliciously fried fish. Also tried the Kung Fu Tea which was yummy too.
THE 99 Ranch Market was extremely clean. The store was not crowded around 10am. We shopped every aisle. We purchased many items including dumplings and fresh wonton wrappers. No crabfingers The prices of veggies seem to be a little more expensive. Inside the grocery store, are 4 or 5 restaurants. We chose a dim sum. The prices were the most expensive I've seen anywhere I've been in the world and not that fresh . We would not go there again..LA Crawfish was surprisingly good. The crawfish were a nice size and seasoned well. Our over all experience was positive. We would return, just eat differently.
Great Asian grocery store offering a lot of fresh produce, a large variety of grocery products from rice, noodles, sauces, snacks, cookies, and drinks (mostly Asian and some American), fresh and live seafood, fresh meats, and lots of frozen items. They also sell kitchen tools, appliances, bowls, plates, chopsticks, cutlery, etc. Inside the building there's also a great bakery selling a variety of pastries, breads and cakes, a couple of restaurants, an eyeglass store, and other types of stores. All around a great store where you can get so many things.
It is my Fisrt time, by the name I thought will be Hispanic market but I was wrong is asian market. I love it. It is big and inside has perfume store, jewelery and 4 restaurants. You crossed to start your groceries in the fruits and sushi bar. The market is big and has a good variety of products it is not so big/huge as the markets in the Chinatown (Hong Kong market) but has a good variety of Asian products close to the city. Love it. I will come back again. The have a bakery / coffee shop at the exit of the shopping.
Nice clean shopping center with a good variety of stores and even an eye doc’s place in here. They have good little restaurants for different tastes. The grocery store is clean and has a good variety of exotic fruits and traditional fruits too. The clothing stores don’t sell anything I would buy it they seem to have a huge selection… almost too crowded for comfortable shopping. The bathrooms are disgusting and smell bad so one star off for cleanliness.
As far as customer service goes, it's not the best, you ask for help and the employees just look at you and walk away. I would say Emmanuel was very helpful for some of the items we couldn't find. Atmosphere is okay barley hear the music. For the stuff they have its okay. Also it was alarming that we were being followed by what it looked like was an employee so overall not the best experience.
I would highly recommend 99 Ranch Market to anyone who loves Asian food. The store has a wide variety of products, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, and the food court is a great place to try new foods. The meat and seafood departments are also well-stocked, with a variety of fresh and frozen options. Furthermore today I got free banana for buying over $20!!! Love it!
Too big! There was one aisle that was literally a good 60'-80' long with nothing but different varieties of Soy Sauce. I suppose a shopper could spend several hours in the store and never find whatever they came in to buy. It was clean, well organized, no odors and not too crowded. I left after an hour because I forgot what I stopped in to buy. Too big but they had everything!
I have always wanted to stop in here and I finally had time today. I had an idea of how large the market was but I was happily surprised to find out it was even bigger! I found so many items that I haven’t seen since I was a child. Wide variety of inventory! Cannot wait to go back! Everyone that works here was so nice and so helpful— multicultural and multi-lingual staff!
This had to be one if the Biggest Asian Food Store that I visited. Overall, Impressions clean, ready for business and friendly. The first time I have seen over 50 brands of soy sauce in one area. Generally impressed of how much variety they had in the store.I would recommend this store to anyone and I will return for future business. Great Job Management Team.
Very fresh food, meat and full of asian food such as vietnamese, Korean and Chinese style. I love their BBQ food a lot, if you are a big fan of roasted Duck then you need to try here, its cheaper but very delicious and juicy. All dimsums are good also. So convenient and there are also many other restaurants inside the building so you can try!!!
I love 99 Ranch! It is easily my favorite grocery store! I make a lot of sushi and these guys have ingredients I can't find anywhere else. And I really like the restaurants in the front. I am a professional cook and I make special plans to come to this store for my personal and professional needs! I only with they were closer to Spring...
Conveniently located off I-10. Nice food court with dim sum, BBQ meats, dumplings, and a buffet line. Grocery store is large and competitively priced. Edited December 2022: The store is now very expensive compared to the Asian grocery stores along Bellaire Boulevard (20-25% premium for total bill). The interior remains pleasant and clean.
I like this place you kind of don’t know what to think of it from the outside. What is it actually?? Well it has a cafeteria area like inside a mall where you have small restaurants in it with dining tables to eat. Then there’s also a grocery store. I definitely recommend my American friends to visit just to experience different cuisines.
I could spend hours here roaming down each isle. They have so much cool stuff. The meat and seafood department has everything you could need. The noodle selection is never ending. HUGE selection of dumplings . Anytime I cook using Asian ingredients this is my go to store. Plus there are several restaurants to grab a bite to eat. …
99 Ranch Market has a lot! There’s an entire cafeteria inside with various restaurants and also a lot of little stores, such as Shiseido, Kung Fu Tea, or even T-Mobile. You can buy so many types of Asian food, drinks, kitchenware, and even home goods. There’s plenty of fresh fruits, veggies, and meats. And of course, the bakery!
We love this place. From everything you need for hot pot to Pho and beyond! Always fresh foods, amazing deals and great pricing. The staff are always friendly and helpful! Then there's the mini restaurants and the bakery. They are all amazing and have spectacular eats! Go spend an afternoon here, you won't be disappointed!
Great Asian grocery store in Houston. Also has several restaurants, and retailers inside. The produce is always fresh , and competitively priced. We love to stock up on Asian junk food (crackers, chips, and snacks)when we are close by. Their meat, and seafood selection is great, and reasonably priced.
It was first time coming to The 99 Ranch Market and let me tell you , you won't be disappointed. Mostly anything Asian will be sold here. They have fruit, meat, seafood, vegetables. Even food vendors selling delicious hot food. You could probably spend hours here. Come and you'll enjoy it.
DO NOT BUY BOXED LUNCH FROM DELI! I got a 2 item combo meal. The noodle has gone bad and turned blue/green-ish. Orange chicken contains barely no chicken meat but flour. Stir-fried eggplant was extremely greasy. I paid $10.81 for spoiled food and running stomach. Will NOT come back again.
99 Ranch is probably the cleanest and best smelling Asian grocery store in the Houston area. Their produce section is also probably the most visually appealing as well. It doesn’t have the selection of the belaire Hong Kong market, but it’s a really good medium sized grocery store.
I make a trip here about 4 times a year to stock up on Asian sauces and oils. This is the only local place I can find seeds for sugar snap and snow peas, too. The bakery goods attached to the market are heavenly. The angel food muffins nearly melt in your mouth, they're so light!
Clean, well stocked market. It's become our go-to for Asian grocery shopping. But, my favorite feature is the food court... We always make a point to sit down for a quick meal, take some to go for the family, and knock out our ingredients list in one yummy & convenient swoop.
One of my favorite stores for Asian grocery shopping. They have so many options from various Asian countries. It might be the best place to get anything Vietnames stuff. I love their can food, like sauce or something like that, but not crazy about their produce.
This place is great. They have vegetables you do not get in normal grocery stores. Like the cafe and the other food options available. Parking here is not great with narrow spaces and lanes. When the other places in the complex get busy parking can get scarce.
We stopped in here on the way out of town. The large Asian grocery with restaurants inside is not a concept we have in Minnesota (we wish we did!) so it was a unique experience for us. Shelves were well stocked with a variety of goods and we loved the deli.
I love 99 ranch and have my 99 ranch loyalty card. They have a great produce department that has pretty much anything you'd want. The hot bar has great food options. I personally enjoy the congee and crullers. I love the selection of frozen foods as well.
Such a fun store to explore! Great quality Hot Deli and Bakery. The Seafood department was also amazing. I got so many wonderful treats to try as well as some delicious sushi and other ready made meals. Definitely will be back soon …
This place is incredible and usually overlooked by the larger population of Houston. The prices are cheaper than most other normal grocery store chains. They offer a variety of meat cuts as well as a very large seafood department. You also
Amazing place! One of the best places to go for your asian recipes. Find all your ingredients here. Korean, Vietnamese, and Chinese cooked food also sold here. The food is delicious. The soy chicken, roasted duck, and pork was very
I heard they fry or steam your seafood at the store for no additional cost. I bought a striped bass thanks to the recommendation of the guy working there and it was delicious. Definitely recommended and it was a super easy process.
new location of one the best Asian grocery stores. smaller than the other location. no food court. busy during grand opening weekend. the whole shopping center is new so this will be a great location with other Asian restaurants.
Just a nice, basic 99 ranch market with many shops located around. I can say that the bakery in this 99 ranch market is way better than the other ones. I got the milk tea, which was a perfect mixture of cream and sugar.
I love walking up and down each aisle just to see what all they have. The food court has a nice variety of foods as well. I think my fave item is the cupcake from their bakery. It's large, spongy, and not super sweet.
The herbs/import produce are always in good condition. I can rely on this grocery store to have what I need in both produce and their incredible seafood selection. Come here for your live lobster for sure!
Love bakery there, so tasty cakes and others bake. In grocery a lot different fruits and veggies that I have no idea even where from and how to eat. Biggest option of mushroom. Bunch of ramens and mochi.
Another Asian gem in Houston. You can find so many products coming from just about all of Asia. There's a fresh fish counter as well as a meat counter. The small shops in the complex are very nice.
Great store. Wide variety of Asian food . They had quail eggs which is one of the only places I could find. There's other small business inside of it such as a boba store, LA crawfish and others.
A wonderful variety of Asian ingredients to choose from. There is also several little shops and restaurants located within the store as you enter. Highly recommend checking them out.
My new favorite place to go for Asian Products and for hot food. Wish they had one in San Antonio! They the only place that has the Seaweed chips and snack variety I like
It’s like a little shopping center/market inside a food store. Nice to checkout and plenty of Asian foods and ingredients. The food court/restaurants are great.
Standard 99 Ranch Market with a food court and small shops before you enter the supermarket. Wide selection of Asian products all priced fairly.
Great grocery store with loads of Asian produce. The food court is great as well with a number of offerings and even a few small restaurants.
They always have good fresh produce and other interesting products to create great meals. The small restaurants in the building are good also.
Love the food court! Eclectic mix of Vietnamese, seafood/crawfish, Japanese & Chinese hot line with particularly good pork and egg congee
Although further from my house I prefer this location as opposed to the Katy location. The store is always clean and well organized.
A cool place with lots of variety. I was expecting more ready-to-eat food vendors like some of the other Asian markets.
Fresh veggies and produce. Variety of goods and stuff you usually don't find in US retail grocery stores.
