I just arrived back in the states after traveling for 2 months in Europe. During that time, I stayed at about 14 different 5 star hotels and received the excellent personal service you would expect. This morning I wandered down late in the morning to the Hilton’s 144 restaurant breakfast buffet service and had the pleasure of being taken care of by a wonderful gentleman by the name of Shabeh (I am so sorry if I misspelled his name, I should have written it down!). I can tell you without a doubt or a hint of exaggeration - I received a level of service from this wonderful gentleman beyond anything I saw in any 5 star hotel in Italy, Spain, Portugal, or France during my 2 month trip. I felt like he had invited me into his home as an honored guest. It was just amazing. I love to see someone who strives so hard to be absolutely excellent at what they do. If you are a guest, don’t miss the chance to me this nice man at breakfast. If you are in management at the Hilton, give this man a raise - he is worth his weight in gold. And him train all your staff, and interview any new staff you are considering hiring. If the Hilton could find 1000 more team members like him across the country, it would have a material impact on your key business metrics. I promise you I am not exaggerating. Wow!

At first everything seemed fine and accommodating, once the food arrived, the waiter disappeared like a ghost. when we spotted him, we flagged him down so we can add to our order, this was a whole production. Finally we’re ready for dessert, again it’s time to play where’s Waldo, the host was kind enough to point him out, very helpful (NOT) when he came back to our table he threw the bill down, we did not ask for a bill , we wanted dessert, that he thankfully served us with a side of sarcasm. Our children thoroughly enjoyed this experience as well , they were extremely entertained by the bar tender who shouted out inappropriate language, I highly recommend leaving the hotel to dine. Best experience for people who enjoy sitting for 5 hours at some point we wanted to go into the kitchen and serve ourselves, the food probably would of tasted better . This was a complete disaster.

Wow, the service was absolutely horrible. I waited over half an hour for my waiter to check up on me after my food arrived. Not to mention, I had to walk to a different table to get salt and pepper because my waiter was nowhere to be found. The food was somewhat decent however it was bland. Now, let me talk about the employees, the bar tender acted like he was intoxicated, he was constantly yelling on top of his lungs like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Overall, this experience was awful and I wouldn’t recommend coming here at all.

On our way to Italy and staying at the Hilton JFK And decided to eat at 144 restaurant in the hotel and had a great server Vaan Davis that made the whole experience great and to top it off we enjoyed food which was great.. The other servers were so friendly and we met the manager Diane Denaro and again was very helpful And friendly.. The Hilton Hotel is great, but when we come back to New York I will make it a point to come back to the restaurant even if I’m not staying at the hotel..

I stayed at the Hilton and had dinner at 144 Restaurant. The philly cheese steak I had was delicious, and the French fries were extremely fresh. The service was top-notch at the bar, and the bar tenders were very entertaining and fun. It was a great dinner experience

I expected more for a $19 hamburger. The fries were great but the hamburger meat was dry considering I ordered it cooked medium. I actually didn't eat part of the bun because it was dry as well. Just a tip... They give you bread before the meal... what I thought was garlic butter was some sort of blue cheese spread. That was a surprise.

The Buffalo Wing flavor is trash, the ranch is atrocious, but the quesadilla was good. The prices are far too high for what they offer.

The food was amazing, we stop there on our way from the JFK airport. The pesto pasta is so good and tasty as well as the salmon.

The staff were polite and professional. I had the Asian flavored wings with rice for dinner, pancakes, eggs and bacon for breakfast (I thought the price for breakfast was a bit much), and the chicken sandwich for lunch. Everything was fantastic

Went to eat there at 10pm, they don't close until 11pm, and we were told very rudely that the kitchen was closed. What restaurant closes their kitchen an hour before they close? Pretty stupid....

The service was excellent The room was clean and the view was pleasant. The breakfast bar was overpriced I should have just ordered my eggs from the ordinary menu but we were pushed for a time Oh well you live and learn.

Let me save you some time, go somewhere else. You will be waiting a while, frustrated, still get the wrong thing, and be $30 less. Plenty of better ways to spend $30 on food.

Good variety of food well prepared. Thanks to Lu our waiter and Audrian for the great service. Busy but everyone maintains a good attitude.
