The beds are cozy and clean. The small room reminds me of a US college dorm but in a good way. The building is old and shows signs of aging as such (small mold marks in bathroom) but they are clean. The staff disappears at midnight sharp and periodicity throughout the day for long durations of time. It's in my observation that they all wear multiple duty hats, so please try to be self-sufficient. Even down to using the laundry or luggage storage. It's pretty much cash only for the laundry and on honor system. The dryer requires staff to give you a long extension cord. Everyone is super nice: even the 711 next to the hotel and street vendors. The street food isn't as late-night as other areas of Seoul, but you will find some near by regardless of the hour. This is a very basic and small but comfortable option. The location is right next to public transportation. It is everything you'll need (including an awesome hill to skateboard down if you're into that kind of thing)! The place is super safe and definitely grew on us :)

Disgusting! My friend choose this hotel and in the pictures it was so cool and CLEAN! Very different when we got there, there has a lot of hair on the ground, since we enter in the hotel and even in the covers of the bed!!!! I asked to change of room but they said they will clean, but when i back from Hongdae i thought they cleaned but it still very DIRTY and had a lot of HAIR everywhere and in the covers of the bed too, and the bathroom has so many problems with water conection and space, oh the space of the room is TOO SMALL! The walls are dirty and the air conditioner didn't work well, i had to go out of there more early, i just slept there like 3 hours above my jacket and then just went out because i just couldn't sleep in that dirty room! i had a really BAD EXPERIENCE with that hotel that i never had before in korea and in all of the countries that i traveled! Care about your guests more well, people pay for sleep in a good and most important,clean hotel, they don't ask a favor!

The place is definitely not like the photos. The room is quite small and barely had room to move around with my 2 suitcases. I was ok to stay the one night, but would probably be willing to pay extra somewhere else. The good: I think the bed sheets and towels were clean. The ac worked and got hot water and a strong pressure while taking a shower. The bad: the room didn’t look as nice as pictured. The blinds only went down 80%. The bathroom needs to be scrubbed as you can see mildew all around the edges. Close to Hoehyun Station, not Seoul Station. From Seoul Station, all uphill. The shower towels are the size of hand towels (from an American point of view this is too small).

The K-POP hotel near Seoul tower is a no-frills affair, giving you a bed and a room and not much else. The rooms are basic but average, with clear signs of wear and tear, and a feeling there's a bit of grime. It's certainly not the worst, but it's not good, either. I didn't experience customer service as I did a self check-in, but the experience was simple enough. For the money paid, it wasn't worthwhile. Sure, I booked relatively last minute, but I think there are other places available which feel nicer, even if they're further out. However, if you're in a pinch and need somewhere to sleep, this will do.

Fair priced and ok place to stay because its just across the Namdaemun Market where you could strike very good shopping deals, and enjoy local foods, also nearby is 711, and just few stops from Seoul Station and Myeongdong! Reception area is only until 11PM so remember to contact building manager to give you the code to enter if you plan to check in late! Rooms are small but clean so far, expect nothing fancy. Cafeteria is located B1, they dont serve breakfast so better make yourself one! Amenities is complete but only Claygo. How to get there: From Seoul station, take Blue line to Hoehyon, take exit No. 4 then make a left on the first corner, walk 100m and Kpop Hotel is on the right side.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Water has hot and cold shower. There was an issue with the aircon though as its not working and temperature is increasing on its own even though we're trying to lower it. Luckily the weather outside is cold so we just opened the windows. I just wish the towels could be a bit bigger but nonetheless it was an ok place for budget travelers.

Located across nandaemun market and very near the subway

The room is very very small and they don't provide the basics like other hotels. It's better to spend a little more money for a money place with more space. The room basically just fits a double sized bed... And that's pretty much it, I can stretch my arms out and touch both sides of the room. You might be enticed with the low price, but you'll end up better off passing $20 more for a place more than twice the size with more basics provided, clean walls, and a TV with a remote.

The nighttime receptionist is extremely rude, arrogant, unprofessional, and unhelpful. The rooms are in poor condition—dirty, cramped, and smelly—with ongoing construction noise and the presence of undesirable individuals nearby. This hotel is not recommended, and particular medical attention should be given to addressing the behavior of the mentioned night skinnt guy

Great location. so many restaurants and cafe surrounding the hotel. Money exchange is also near. No elevator so it is hard to go up if you have heavy luggages. The bed is little uncomfortable as there is still a plastic cover it make sounds everytime you move.

Honestly i was very impressed. The room was very clean and you don't need to call the staff. They already prepared all the things you need. Just get your keycard and go to your room. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and I would definitely recommend this to others.

Location wise, K-Pop hotel is soo strategic and is one of the best fit for us since its close to train station, restaurants, nandaenum market and most of all to Myeongdong. The hotel itself is awesome - small but clean. Somehow safe because it has K-police installed. Their customer service is fast & friendly.

Nice clean little room. Kitchen down stairs and small cage next door. Close to market and foods stalls. Roof top patio has nice views. Would be cool if they put some more chairs out there for everyone.

실내 사진이 안나와 있어서 혹시나했는데 이건 너무 한듯 합니다. 한 두어평 남짓한 고시텔처럼 아주 좁은 곳이였어요. 방음상태 청결상태가 좋지 않았고, 티비 또한 아주 작았습니다. 특가라고 나와서 75000원이였는데, 그 금액으로 그냥 시설좋은 모텔이 훨씬 나을뻔했어요. 지하에 조리할 수있는 공간도있고 아침 조식도 간단히 있다지만 호텔이란 이름보단 게스트하우스가 어울리네요. 비누도 없고 샴프린스는 있는데 두군데 다 샴프가 있더군요. 씻던중이라 그냥 샴프만했어요... 호텔은 아닌 듯 합니다.

The price is reasonable,however the cleanliness of the bathroom i give a 1.5 star. There is build up around the shower rim and the shower doors were not cleaned properly. The room is tiny. So keep that in mind. However the bed is nice and soft. Staff are helpful.

Good value for the price but cleanliness is subpar. There were scuff marks, rust on metal parts in bathroom, and dark marks on the bathroom glass walls. Besides the issues mentioned, the price and location is the greatest aspect.

일단 사진상으로는 보이지 않았지만, 사진보다 방이 상당히 작았습니다. 고시원 보다 조금 큰 정도? 청결 상태도 솔직히 3만원? 정도의 숙박이라고 생각합니다. 주말에 땅값을 제한다고 해도... 5만5천원이 아까울 정도니까 참고 하시기 바랍니다.

The hotel is easy to find, only 2 minutes walk from Hoehyeon station. The room is clean though it's small. The space is just enough to open a luggage. The price is reasonable.

가격대비...는 괜찮...나? 바닥에서 모래가 밟혔어요 ^.^ 청소 신경 쓰셔야할듯. 방은... 매우 좁아요 ㅎㅎ... 3평 정도? 고시텔 사이즈 입니다. 침구나 수건은 괜찮은데, 칫솔치약은 천원에 별도로 판매중이고 비누는 없으니 참고하세요. 서울역에서 도보로 15분~20분 정도 입니다.

One star for near Seoul station. And detail is.. 1. Air conditioning CANNOT reach to the plug (like picture) 2. Stairs too steep. No elevator. 3. Pillow so dirty

The reception was empty and had a poor attitude. There was no assistance rendered at all, and there’s no toiletries. Would give it a -5 stars if I can.

전체적으로 깔끔해요 대신 엘리베이터가 없어서 캐리어를 질질끌고 올라갔던 점이 좀 아쉬웠네여ㅎ

평양냉면과 녹두전이 정말 맛있다. 누굴 초대해도 될듯한 맛집으로 손색 없음을 확인했습니다
