I always loved Isaac Toast, and this is one good place for breakfast or to grab a bite when you head out from the Myeongdong station. What is a little disappointing about this branch is that it is too small there is basically no place to dine in, it only operates out of a window. Also the variety of the sandwiches are greatly reduced. I was already thinking of eating a shrimp one but to my disappointment it wasn't served there. Good is good but a lot of limitations due to the foot size of the restaurant. Food wise literally nothing to complain about, it was my first meal when I arrived in Seoul from the airport. The first place to serve food when I walked out of the station walking to the hotel. I was wishing for a place to take a breather and enjoy breakfast but in the end had to takeaway to the hotel, also not knowing I arrived before noon and don't even know if I had a room ready. And it was very troublesome because there were no bags as well so everything you ordered has to be taken away with bare hands. Quite a chore for a tourist especially when we have hands full of luggage.

10.5.23 - needed a quick bite for the fam. Short like that moved fast. The ajummas were nice, fast, and, always smiling. We got the bacon sandwich and the ham special for a total of 7400 KRW. The bread wasn't as toasted enough to have a slight crunch. The eggs are made to order. Overall it leaned toward the sweet side, but we prefer more savory. Good for a try, but only going back if no other option.

Taste of #1 and #2 is pretty same where the meat patty in #1 is thicker. The bacon and and ham options are less sweet, but meat is much thinner. The taste is mostly what it looks like. Nothing unexpected besides the sweetness in the syrup/sauce that is added to the toast sandwich. Savory and sweetness is the pared-down level of McDonald's mcgriddles without the maple and sausage seasoning taste. No seating. Take out or stand eating in streets only. For the value, it is not bad for a quickie. There seems to be always a line, but it goes relatively fast.

We noticed a line here while looking for a place to get coffee and breakfast while walking around Myeongdong and decided to try it out. It's cheap and the service was quick but unfortunately the ham and cheese wasn't to our taste. They coat the bread with a sweet-ish jam so if that's not your thing, i.e. sweet and greesy, then you may want to pass on this. Otherwise, it is cheap and could be an option for people on a budget.

Ham and Cheese Toast

So I'm really confused what the hype is about. Perhaps it's because I come from the UK and toasties are quite common? This was an average toastie at best (had the ham special). I could make it better myself with better quality ingredients back in the UK for the same price. Definitely catered for Asian tourists where cheese, bacon and sandwiches are a novelty. Not worth the calories, sorry, and don't know why it's so sweet? If you know and appreciate a good toastie, don't bother coming here and I advise you to go something for more Korean.

This is really amazing, even though It doesn't look fancy. I used to eat this toast almost twice a week after school with my friends. The price is cheap and there are many different kinds of toasts. Especially, the special yellowish sauce is awesome, and this sauce is "Isaac Toast" company's heart. Thus, I highly recommend you to visit Isaac Toast and have any toast you want to try! Oh! and plan for traveling South Korea to try this beautiful toast:) I am sure that this toast would make your trip more memorable and enjoyable.

There is no table for dine in. Only can take away. On 8am Saturday morning, third prson in queue time within 5 minutes abd serving within 5 minutes upon ordering. Bulgogi toady wad ok. Lot of ingredients and generous. 3 stars Bacon toast was ok as well. Nothing special. 3 stars Coffee just normal. Nothing to shout about

Yummy toasted sandwich! A must to visit and purchase if you are wondering around at the streets of Myeongdong, it's just by the roadside, but google maps will help you navigate with ease if you are unsure where and how to find. I was there at night and apparently there was only 1 person in front of my queuing, so I got the awesome bread pretty fast, what a nice way to close up my night with the yummy bread for supper!

The queue starts early and be prepared to queue for ~20 mins on average. Nonetheless, this store (handled and cooked by ajummas) makes the best Issac toasts. We have been to the other Issac toasts around seoul which are handled and cooked by youngsters but their toasts for some reason, just do not cut it. Do note that there are no seating here.

One of the best street breakfast foods in Myeongdong. A queue starts to form after 8.30 am. Do come early if you want to avoid waiting in line. At peak hours, you may be required to wait for an hour and a half for your sandwich toast. These buttered toasts are prepared fresh when you order with various toppings from the standard ham and cheese to the Korean local specialties like Bulgogi.

I had to try this since my local friend recommended it. The taste is okay to me, or maybe just depends on which franchise you will go to. I got the bacon best, but i think the ahjumma just didn’t give me enough sauce . Maybe will try different kind.

Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, Tea Break, Dinner, Supper. Always a reason for a good Isaac Toast! Still prefer the Ham & Cheese after trying the Bulgogi this time. PSA: they don't cut it up for you, so if you are sharing, be prepared to just bit into it.

Ham and Cheese Toast

There's a legit reason why there's always a queue at Isaac Toast. Super delicious sandwiches, albeit a bit sinful with all that butter they are using :P will recommend this place highly but maybe visit other branches if you don't want to wait. We waited close to 40 minutes at the MyeongDong branch on a Thursday mid-morning.

I saw Isaac on YouTube prior to my trip to South korea and knew right away I had to try their toast once I got to seoul, I tried two location in seoul first I had the bulgogi toast and the second time the ham toast. All I can say is yummy, try them if you ever come to seoul, highly recommeded.

The perfect place for a breakfast to go or snack during the day. There is usually a long line in the morning but it goes quite fast and it’s definitely worth the wait. Delicious toasts and a great mix of western and Korean food.

Freshly made toast with meat, cheese, omelette, veg and sauces. Would prefer if the bread is more uncommon as this felt homely. Waited for quite long though as there was a huge internal order. Go for it if you are nearby and wanting a quick breakfast and if the queue is not that long.

We tried their toast for our first breakfast in Seoul, they were good but the lady's lack of kindness and rude talk is definitely out of place! This place must definitely to be avoided !!!! Two stars for the toast..

You get good quality for what you pay for here, especially since they serve you quite quickly after you make your order. Bulgogi sandwich is best value imo. do note there’s no seating around. Card friendly

Nothing much to shout about. After all the long queue and hype about this toast you will find it rather dissappointing. The meat was soft and not juicy. Sauce was rather on the sweet side. Very normal toast indeed. Doesnt really worth the queue. Dont waste your time here.

Terrible service with cocky staff. They were very rude. I don't know why there's a line in the first place. If you want a decent breakfast, just about anywhere else in Korea is just as good or better than this place. Don't waste your valuable time waiting in line.

Only can take away and no dine in. Always see people queuing for breakfast. If late morning then there are fewer customers.

The toast was so good, a great breakfast option if you're staying in the Myeongdong area. There's a queue every single day. Prices are reasonable, a must try at least once if you get the chance, but it's a chain store so you could probably find it elsewhere.

It's a great place for a breaky sandwich on the go. If you come early enough you might beat the crows. Otherwise, you'll need to wait to get your fix

There is always a line outside so I decided to give it a try. It is ok but nothing special. It has meat, cheese, egg etc inside, and the toast has some kind of sweet taste on its coating. I feel quite thirsty after eating it.

Quick egg sandwhich spot. Line can get long but the service is pretty quick. It's just a stand, meaning there's no seating.

Issac and Toast

Overated and over price. Order the bacon best and only 2 small pieces of bacon. Not tasty at all. Staff are rude. The toast nothing special. Not worth queuing for it. There are other better and cheaper place.

The service was really good and accommodating for English speakers. A heads up, if you are used to western style food these sandwiches are very sweet. Even the pickles were sweet. The sauce was even sweeter.

Quick and much better than the other Issac in the area. The ladies here buttered the toast twice to make sure it got toasted with a beautiful honey-brown colour! 3700 W for breakfast, can’t beat it.

Very nice soft bread,tried ham & cheese toast & bacon best toast. Yummy. Also a must try in korea!

Great sandwich shop in Myeongdong. They have a good selection and we tried the bulgogi sandwich as suggested. It was delicious and filing. For 3000 won I would say it as a perfect steal …

The Bulgogi Toast was very delicious and well worth to queue up for. The coffee (Americano) was okay, but nothing special.

Not worth the hype or queuing. You can definitely make these sandwiches yourself at home. Basically very sweet sauce, a meat choose (ham/bacon/bulgogi) with soft buttery toast.

Was expecting a salty and spicy one, but it turned out to be sweet. A Lil' bit disappointed but still tasted good overall. It is recommended if you love sweet food!

I really liked this place. Quick, filling toasted sandwiches, buttered well. Bulgogi very satisfying. Some nice pickles and shredded lettuce on top. Inexpensive.

So so. Overrated toast. Sauce are the same for all so not much difference for the taste. Myeongdong's isaac toast not as many choices as ewha's isaac toast.
