To be honest, the food it's just ok, I live in the hotel across the street, that's why I stop by. One of the Korean lady was really rude, I'm not quite sure if she's being rude to everyone, or just because when I ask her to make it less spicy, she didn't understand then she trying to speaks Chinese to me and I do speak Chinese by chance. Then whenever request I had, she had that mean face to me. Such as I ask her where's the chopsticks, then she didn't get it. I use hand gesture to let her know what I want, then she just pull out a drawer underneath the table I'm sitting at, then say nothing and walk away. Oh great, I'm supposed to know that you have all of you utensils over there. I heard that there's some tension between Chinese and Korean, so I'm not quite sure she's being rude to me just because she thought I'm Chinese or she just being mean in nature. Especially after I just visited Japan, people are really nice and friendly over there, now I don't want to come to Korea any more. And everything are over priced in Korea(food are almost same price as U.S), V.S more tourist attractions in Japan, why would I come to Korea again?

Seaweed Fried Rice, Steamed Pork Bone

All I can say about this restaurant is this. It is the wosrt Gamjatang (감자탕) I ever had either in korea and the USA where I live. My friends from US came and one of my friend loves Gamjatang. So I took them to the Wondang Gamjatang (원당감자탕) restaurant, because their store front Ads say, its the Number 1 Gamjatang restaurant in entire Korea. Honestly it was the worst tasting food I ever had in korea. Service was even mediocre. One of the waitress gave us an attitude when I asled for more side dishes. Main problem was the flavor of all the dishes we ordered. This restaurant maybe decent for foreigners who don't know what delicious Gamjatang is supposed to taste. But to Koreans who tasted it before, it was horrible. I wasted my $$$ and treated my friends to bad korean food. I just want other tourists to know it.

We really looked for this place We visited 3 years ago. Though myeongdong is not as busy as it was before we still got lost trying to find a place that sells Gamja-tang and this is the only restaurant in the area that have Ganja tang the others are already closed or selling a different menu so were happy we found them. The ajjumas are so nice and the food super. Meat so tender and falls of the bone while the soup still boiling hot infront of you. We really did have a feast and will come back again for more.

명동에서 12시 이후에 퇴근을 하면 갈곳이 별루 없네요. 외국인 관광객도 마찬가지 일듯;;; 그나마 그 시간에도 영업을 해주셔서 퇴근길에 뼈해장국과 소주 한병하며 집으로 걸어올수 있는 아주 고마운 곳입니다. 술안주로 먹다보니 뼈해장국을 자주 먹는데 맨날 먹으면 질리니까 순두부찌개, 제육볶음.. 대충 그렇게 먹어봤습니다. 직장동료 말로는 저녁 늦게는 돈까스랑 몇몇 메뉴는 안나온다고 하더라구요. 저는 소주 안주로 안땡겨서 상관 없었습니다. 근데 말하고 보니까 돈까스에 맥주 한잔 하고 싶단 생각이 드네요. 맨날 저녁 12시 넘어 혼술하고 2만원도 안되는 돈을 내고가는데도 항상 친절하게 맞아주시는 서빙하시는분들 너무 감사 드리네요. 집앞에도 뼈해장국집이 열려있는데 고기가 별루 없고 뼈에서 잘 떨어지지도 않고 질기던데 여긴 잘 떨어져서 술안주 할만큼 충분히 고기가 나오는거 같아요. 고기 발라서 한병 마시고 바로 밥 말아서 해장하고 집으로 옵니다. 제육볶음인가 돌솥에 나왔는데 양이 쪼금 더 있었슴했구요.. 순두부찌게도 양이 조금 있었슴했었습니다. (술안주하고 밥까지 먹을 양은 안되는듯;;)

Lady in shop speaks chinese too. Place operates 24 h. The pork bone is really huge. Till u are at a lost of how to eat. Use ur hands and separate the bone. Eat the small portion of meat or membrane. Soup not bad. Friend packed back too. Forgot what she ate. Average tasting. Good for hunger and late night dinning. Wangbijib is next door level 2 for bbq meat. Mega coffee is along the same row with Awesome place and 7-11.

Really affordable and homely Korean food. We especially love the bone rib soup and beef bulgogi, which had so much meat in them!! The place is quite foreigner friendly and able to understand our orders in English and Chinese. It is open 24 hours if I’m not wrong. And located in quite a convenient stretch along myeongdong. Usually full when we walk by but managed to walk in without reservation for this meal.

We got the beef bulgogi stew which was a bit sweet but goes well with rice. Also got the famous pork rib spicy soup that was so good! A lot of meat and the taste of the soup was just wow. It was like nothing I ever tasted before. In comparison, the Mandu (dumplings) were not that worth it. It was 6 for 10k Won, same as the soup. Regardless, they were awesome! Would highly reccomend

I will say the food is great but it’s more of a Chinese flavor than Korean flavor (not mad about it but there are other Korean restaurants nearby if you want that Korean flavor). Also, the price for the portion they serve is not the best. There are better spots in Seoul that serve bigger portions, have a variety of dishes on their menu, and are cheaper :)

High priced place but only good thing is that it opens late Bad service from that lady once they realise you are not ordering the expensive items and always rushing you to order. The place wasn't full at 11 at night so least she can do was be a bit more patient

We love the pork bone and potato soup in this restaurant that we always come back for it. Do try the one that you cook and heat in front of you instead of the lunch serving. The beef is soo tender that it melts of the bone. Price point is also value for money.

The taste is normal. Personally think its not worth for money. Recommended by alot of people just famous only. The bone got no meat, the squid cost 40k, ate at hongdae with better taste only 16k… total bill nearly 100k but never fill full.

두번 가봤지만 다소 아쉬워서 평가 써봅니다 써빙 및 계산 이모님 두명으로 벅차보여요 특히 저녁되면 사람 엄청 많은데 가게에는 손님이 계속오고 정리 안된 테이블에 손님들 보면 좀 민망하네요 더군다나 외국인들도 많이 찾는것 같던데 테이블 벽에 알람 버튼같은게 있는거 같긴한데 밥 먹는 동안 알람 소리는 들리지 않고 주문 하려는 외국인들은 이모님들이 옆에 와서 주문 받아주길 계속 기다리고요 ㅡㅡ;; 그리고 뼈해장국은 먹어봤는데 간이 너무 쌔요 그리고 가격치고 고기 뼈에 붙은 고기 양도 너무 적어요 특별한 일 외엔 잘 안갈것 같네요

This restaurant location is convenient as it is located at the border of Myeongdong. It is very popular with tourists and the food here is passable but not really that yummy. It is a great place to grab an okay meal and then continue on with your shopping. Also opposite the street is the big shopping center of shinsege

Alot recommendation from social media… but the bone really not meaty and only 4 slices of potato and teokpokki inside… not really worth to try with this RSP.

First place we visited after landing in Seoul. Packed full with people chatting and laughing, the food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Plenty of side dishes and steaming hot main dishes.

Once we sat down, almost 90% of customers are tourists, no local people. We've ordered the Port Bone & Potato Soup, we only can taste pepper, it didn't taste like pork soup, taste below average. Some of the Kimchi tasted deteriorated. I have no reason to visit this restaurant.

The food is good. Staff are nice and the atmosphere is ok. But the price is much higher than what I paid for. Just my opinion . There are many other restaurants in this area with fairer prices.

Its main menu is Pork back-bone stew(감자탕; Gamjatang) but it also serves varying hot soup dish of Korea. It is a popular restaurant not only for people working in the neighbourhood but for tourists as well. It is really busy at lunch time.

Unfriendly service. Everyone must order one item, even though the portions were huge so not great for groups that aren’t super hungry.

Bone soup is good but not much meat. Dumpling is good. Tofu stew was only half full. Am order of ramen is 10,000 and it’s instant noodles (a bowl of Shin is 1,450 at a convenient store). Totally not worth it.

Waitress are Chinese and thus able to speak in Hangeul and Chinese. The stew is really delicious and warming to be eaten on a cold day. Limited side dish but still refillable as all restaurant in Korea does.

Food was good, the servers seemed annoyed with everything.

Bone Soup, Korean Pancake

A place to try Korean Bibimbap located in the shopping street area. They also sell Hot Pork Bone and Potato Soup. You can easily stop by for food here and continue your shopping thereafter.

A good little restaurant for some authentic Korean food. Dropped by her just as a walk in without any prior research and quite liked the experience. Would recommend. Regards @fooderarri

오램만에 만난 동기가 와 2차로 간 곳. 배가 불러 콜라 말고는 안 먹어 맛평가는 유보. 단 자정 근처라 외국인이 특히 일본인이 자주 오는 걸로 봐선 맛도 괜찮을 듯. 단 여기 호텔에 근무하는 동기 말이 늦게까지 여는 곳이 여기 말고는 없다해서 별 세개. 맛은 담에 간다면 평가하고 평균점수 네개를 줄수있음

Pretty good experience. Thanks god they open late! Great introduction to Seoul! I recommend their pork and potato soup. We got a small for 2 of us. Perfect!

Visited at 7 pm on weekdays. Foreign tourists inside the store account for 80% of the total. The food supplies are delayed because few of store employees.

Quick and kind service. Delicious bibimpap, steam bulgogi, octopus dumplings and tofu stew, 10.000 KRW each. All the side dishes and water were free.

Good gam have tang in Myeong Dong. The portions were good and it was perfect on a chilly day. The speak some Mandarin and has lots of signage.

묵은지 등갈비찜, 감자탕 등이 맛있는 명동의 맛집입니다. Boiled kimchi galbi and  Pork Back-bone Stew are best menu of this place.

감자탕맛이일품이지요 특히 감자탕 중또는대 사이즈를시키면 사장님이 계란말이를서비스로주기도한답니다 특히관광객들한테는 인기가많아서 점심시간대에는 조금은기다려야하지요

맛은 괜찮습니다. 단 종업원들이 너무 큰소리로 정신없이 돌아다니고 반찬 더 달라고 몇번 얘기해도 전혀 대응이 안됩니다. 한 마디로 홀 서비스가 엉망이네요.

Tasted better gamjatangs but this was good enough for a windy night

명동에 2곳이 있죠. 맛과 가격 모두 평범합니다. 일부러 찾아가서 먹기에는 ^^* 지나 가다 보이면 들어가는 집입니다.

감자탕집 치고는 잘하는 편에 속합니다. 외국인들도 많이 옵니다. 한국사람은 보통 해장국을 주문합니다. 가격은 7천원!

두번다시는안간다, 밑반찬에서 냄새나고 재료도 개썅 폐급 가져다 쓰네. 외국인들이 대부분이던데 국가 망신이다.

음식맛도 별로고 장소도 협소해서 다른곳을 추천하고 싶네요! 회전률 극대화로 식사테이블 간격이 극악입니다.
