A nice little place with a history attached. There are some stone stele to commemorate certain events in the modern history of Taiwan. Plus there is a historical building with ancient architecture and cannon shooters on display at the rooftop. Also there is a large Banyan tree on the boundary of which many local artists take inspiration to paint. Overall, recommend as its just a stone's throw away from Koxinga Temple.

It's a great big old historic gate surrounded by a lovely park and incredible banyan trees. There is a playground on the Shulin Liu side with toilets and, the Tainan Film Centre is also located in this area. Peaceful and full of life. My favourite park!

I walk through this park in Tainan city often .... the energy of the park is gentle and very much the feeling of Tainan. Nanmen Park brings blessed memories of Tainan.

Beautiful park. Great for walking and taking pictures. There is also a collection of steles at this park from the 16th and 17th centuries that are interesting.

Nothing much except for an old gate. You can climb up the stairs to have a view of the area however the interior of the guard room is locked upstairs.

Nice and peaceful historic spot. Kids can just run around and you can read a book and sip some tea.

大家來到這裡可能就只是在城中拍照留念吧，其實推薦大家到旁邊的碑林觀賞，這裡的碑是日治時期從各處搜集而來，因此能在這裡掌握到府城許多地方的沿革與以前的法規等等，若能細細觀賞必定能有所收穫！
