This compound of temples / Grand Palace is a sight you must see when visiting Bangkok! The entrance for foreigners is 500 baht and you can buy your ticket at the entrance. You will see the Emerald Buddha (they change his “clothes” cover depending on the season!) the Grand Palace, the Queen’s fabrics museum, and the Throne Hall, and some more beautiful structures within! It’s a walk around self guided tour (or you can hire your own tour guide to help explain what’s going on because there a lot!) and took us about 1-2 hours, and that’s because we were quick. You’ll want to take tons of pictures and explore the areas, however you have to take your shoes off when entering the temples. Oh and cover up according to their dress code (respectful and no tank tops) It can be quite hot midday, try to make it early but don’t worry if you don’t… there’s shade everywhere. Just be prepared for it with a hat and a water! Overall beautiful, impressive property with beautiful architecture and rich history!

Комплекс прекрасный! Сервис 0 ! За не самую дешевую плату нет нормальных мест для отдыха, лавочек например недостаточно, и нет тенька и деревьев! И это в +35! Мы были утром, в обед наверное атас! А и развод с масками на входе, надо купить если нет, но внутри они много где бесплатно! Так же с одеждой нет проката, только покупка! Для мужчин тоже только закрытые ноги полностью! При входе в музей не пустили с водой, оставить на входе тоже не разрешили, а только на улице! Сервис максимальный! Вообщем бесплатно это и можно потерпеть, а вот за 15 $ могли бы оборудовать хотя бы тень и зоны отдыха достойные! Мне есть с чем сравнивать в Азии!

This place, Wat Phra Kaew is a beautiful temple that has been with Thailand for a long time. It is a place that every tourist should not miss to visit. You will be amazed and bowed to the Emerald Buddha sacred right to make a wish so when come to visit Bangkok, I recommended that you should go to Wat Phra Kaew Morakot as well.

Don't miss this. There are other emerald buddhas inside if you go looking. There's a lot of interesting history to witness here. You're not allowed to take pictures but basically everyone does. This is included in the Grand Palace entry price.

Vintage warfare equipment on display, with the old cannons (some dating back as far as the 1600s) skirt the classic facade to this building. Wat Phra Kaew Museum houses curious displays, spread over two (2) levels. It is conveniently located adjacent to The Grand Palace and definitely worth checking out.
