Very friendly guesthouse near Assad gate – almost like home! Shaown, the man who takes care of the place, is helpful and always chat-friendly; the guesthouse is perfectly clean and very well maintained. Location is great also, you’re close to Dhanmondi and just opposite the parliament building. There’s a very nice park behind there where you can walk or jog in the morning. Getting down to Dhaka University area and New Market is easy, as is going to Banani/Gulshan (but you will of course get stuck in traffic). Shaown and the manager helped me when sick one evening and the guesthouse was full: they made me fresh mint tea and dropped me off at another nearby guesthouse. Very much recommended for visitors to this fun and crazy city!

This is a 3 bedroom flat in an apartment building rented to guest, for a short term stay it is ok considering the location, in asasd gate area you will not find any residential hotel, if you want to have dinner then you must confirm it during lunch time, they will prepare it for you, food quality is not bad, home made type, in breakfast they will offer the bread, jam, jelly, ruti, porata, vegetables and egg but not complementary, you have to pay. Keep in mind that it’s not a hotel so limit your expectations. Finally you need to pay few amount like 500/= in advance for booking confirmation.

জায়গাটি পরিচালনাকারী ব্যক্তি একই দামে আমাদের একটি ছোট রুম দিতে চেয়েছিলেন এবং দাবি করেছিলেন যে আমরা যে রুমটি বুক করেছি এবং এর জন্য অর্থ প্রদান করেছি তা booking.com যা দেখাচ্ছে তার চেয়ে বেশি ব্যয়বহুল। আমাদের খুব ভোরে রওনা হতে হয়েছিল (সকাল 6টা) এবং লিফটটি চালু করা হয়নি, যদিও ম্যানেজার আমাকে বলেছিলেন যে একটি লিফট সারা রাত জুড়ে থাকে। আমার 70+ বছর বয়সী বাবা-মাকে সিঁড়ি দিয়ে 8 তলা হাঁটতে হয়েছিল। বাইরে খাওয়ার তুলনায় তাদের খাবারের দাম বেশি। ওয়াশরুমের চারপাশে ফুটো ছিল। আসবাবপত্র ভাল ছিল, কিন্তু ঘরটি প্রশস্ত ছিল না এবং বিছানা আরামদায়ক ছিল না।

Very unprofessional! They took a 3/4 rooms flat on rent and opened this guest house. They only want money. Don’t care about guests. They have made some very wierd rules. You are bound to take their poor quality foods with high price tag and you have to buy 3 persons food even if you are only 2 persons. There is only one person who does everything in this guest house like cleaning, cooking, managing, booking, reception. You can now easily guess about this so called guest house.

Manager and staff are cordial and supportive. Secured and perfect cleanness. This is a usual flat guesthouses - no exclusive view or facility : perfect for budget and working travelers. Internet available. On demand Bangladeshi usual food available ; standard dinner will cost 175-280 BDT ( Rice ; Lentil; egg/fish ; Dal). Opposite to Bangladesh perliament ; nearby restaurants around 1km ; easy access to Mohammad pur ; Dhanmondhi; Shamoly ; Farm Gate area. Recommend to book.

Very unprofessional and poor management.The manager told me about a room and gave me another room . Everything was quite good but he charged for the parking (Regular 1night parking 300tk but I bargain it to 200 for a motorcycle) .While the manager told me everything was included in room cost.

Very unprofessional behavior, the room doesn't have hot water, not allowed to bring food from outside. and the manager is conning and lying about the booking as he overbooked my booking and I was told that I must check out the next day. I didn't want to step as low as he did so I booked another hotel with a cheaper price. advice avoid, better options are available.

Room was quite small and staff didn't clean the room even bathroom too. Seek only about money, no good service at all.

Nice home arrangement, specially the behavior of the caretaker Mr Edison. Rating 4 star because the quilt and the bed was smelly which gave me a feeling that they do not wash it well, also there were construction work undergoing around so sleeping during the day (which I did anyway) was difficult due to excessive noise.

Very bad management. Room rent cost is too expensive. Also their food is not upto the standard mark. People can't bring their food in here. They have to buy their rubbish food in high cost. The caretaker behaviour is also very bad. He has no manner to deal with customer. Overall I suggest not to go there.

Only 3 rooms..... Not my type..... It is a guest house.... I prefer Hotel..... Located inside another business.... Lone place.... Room service and staff is great... The parking is good....

It's very good home stay, good environment, neat and clean rooms. No sounds from roads. It's prime location near Gana Bhaban, Dhaka. Food service and quality like own kitchen.

Very cordial and homely environment... Foreigners regularly stay here. They have good in-house food menu, although a bit expensive, you can taste the flavour of homemade food. Good for legally married couple. If you are not married don't come with your bf/gf, they won't allow.

It's a very nice home stay, with a nice environment and neat and clean rooms. There are no road noises. It is conveniently located near Gana Bhaban in Dhaka. Food service and quality comparable to that of one's own kitchen..

Living standard is not that much good. AC doesn't work. Takes too much price for foods and those foods are of below standard. Doesn't provide basin articles also.

Better than hotel in the location considering security and cost. Also who likes homely accomodation to stay, it is comfortable for them.

Inside environment is quite home type. Security still not sure but found no problems. But food quality isn't so good and price is high.
