As any customer will appreciate, escalating a complaint takes consideration. The service we experienced yesterday I think many will agree is unacceptable in any hotel, any country, star rating, location or subject to any value. Yesterday, I attended the Kempinski hotel with friends and 3 children. We cannot fault the location of the hotel but feel obliged to highlight that when catering to families the number one parent priority is the care of the family. During the stay we raised concerns about the inadequate number of staff, long wait times for service and items not arriving at all. These included soft drinks, house beers and food for the group. The hotel bar and serving areas are completely unmanned and numerous guests including ourselves were seen chasing staff around the pool areas, beach and surrounding areas trying to follow up on orders. Even pool attendants and lifeguards where being asked to chase and help guests as to the progress of orders. Whilst I understand the pressure that hospitality involves it is impossible to ignore that kids meals and soft drinks fail to arrive entirely. During payment of our bill items had been added to the itemised bill that had never even arrived. Unfortunately for the Kempinski, customers are paying premium rates for the surroundings and importantly service. It is a 5 star hotel and it is likely that paying customers expectations will never be met whilst this level of service is provided. The staff are clearly under strength and cannot cope with the demands of the pool guests. Whilst the context of my poor review is service based. I cannot and will not accept abusive behaviour from a member of hotel management in any country in the world. My wife spoke to the manager of the Kempinski pool area about our concerns and he proceeded to line up the pool staff in firing line fashion in front of all the surrounding families, not only our own but the surrounding nearby guests. This manager, an Erdem Yavuz shamelessly stood the serving team in front of our family and surrounding guests and claimed we should all point out the failing members of his team. We informed him that he is being rude, unprofessional and lacking class. We refused to entertain his shocking gesture and he walked off exclaiming verbally that he is rude and proud of his actions. At no point did we ever recieve an apology and it is our understanding that pool serving staff will be deducted from salary any items ordered but never received. I cannot stress to other customers enough that as long standing residents of Dubai I have never experienced this anywhere, ever, not even remotely close to this level of service and embarrasment. Dubai is full of exceptional hotels for the same price you will pay here, go elsewhere. Edit: June 28th In the weeks that proceeded this review I was contacted by the Kempinski team requesting that we remove the review. Both sides reached common ground in respect of the complaint however in the days that followed I learned that members of our group had been issued a formal ban from the hotel inderectly through the Privelee service. I considered a retraction of the review however this latest turn of events left me misled by discussions with both Hani and Magdy of the hotel management. As a result of this I requested in writing that we would be welcomed back at the hotel. As I understand it I reiterated that members of our party have been notified they are not welcome to return and we sought guarantees that this was not the case. In my opinion the Kempinski are only interested in a retraction of the events and have no interest in honouring the welcome back gesture. To date no written confirmation has ever been provided despite multiple follow ups. I was asked to provide my contact number and furthermore called personally to speak to either Hani or Magdy neither of which returned the call. I would implore anyone considering staying here to reconsider and spend elsewhere, there are ample superior alternatives.

We chose a very beautiful garden to celebrate our Wedding at such a reputed hotel like Kempinski the Palm. However, after the 50% payment was completed, the disaster had started. We have been moved from the venue we chose and had to redo all the designs and wedding planning once again, also we got a smaller garden comparing to the one which was initially booked at the same price. The management was rude and was not ashamed about the situation. No discounts or anything at all was offered to smoothen the matter. As a cherry on a cake, our wedding gift cash was stolen from the room while we were celebrating our wedding. Would never expect such treatment from a cheap hotel but even more from Kempinski. Security didn't take any action and we didn't receive any feedback from the hotel staff on the matter. They gave us a small cake on a plate as a gift. While trying to take this cake home, the valet person took it and said the plate belongs to hotel. They cared about small cheap white plate and didn't bother to investigate AED 5,000 stolen cash which was taken probably by their housekeeping or catering team (as they brought food to the room while we were out) or that we just paid AED 80,000 for the wedding catering. We called the Police and really wanted to get this resolved, but they threatened to open a legal case against us. Shoking and if we could go back in time, it will be as far from Kempinski as possible.

Great stay, was lovely seeing the shimmering sea. Service was excellent especially the valet parking attendants, concierge and at breakfast. Our two bedroom suite was clean and spacious - ideal for a family travelling together. On the downside, the traffic noise was a little bothersome and I would recommend taking rooms on the lagoon side to avoid this. There was also a slightly off putting smell in the corridor which I think needs looking into. Breakfast selection was fantastic and of good quality. Sitting besides the pool during the day was very pleasant and the children really enjoyed the kids pool. The service around the pool could however be improved as it was difficult to attract attention when wanting to place an order. Also on the final day we were unable to find anywhere to sit which was a disappointment. The Palm location is good for a little bit of peace and quite but you need to factor in the drive time to key locations such as Dubai Mall / Burj Khalifa as with the traffic this can be close to an hour so whether this is the ideal location really depends on the purpose of your visit. All in all, very good - especially for families given the convenience of the two bedroom suites and reasonable prices.

Sun, sand, sea and… that’s all the free stuff and that’s, really, most of the good stuff. Went on a pool pass day with friends. The food was mediocre. The staff was confused. The system for paying is like the blind leading the blind. You pay a set price to get in and then everything you eat and drink is taken off the money you have already paid. Then, at the end, if you owe more, you pay what you owe. I have been to places where this is streamlined. At this hotel it’s chaos. The different wait staff don’t talk to each other. We were asked over and over what our receipt number was and what our voucher number was - and then at the end they still got all the charges wrong. Finally, we met one waiter who sorted it all out. Then, when we went to pay, the entire staff was having a meeting and we couldn’t get anyone to serve us at all. Why two stars? Eh. The coffee was very good. The watermelon popsicle was cold. The pool was fairly comfortable. The location is relaxing. There are loads of hotels in Dubai, though. I say… go to another one.

I stayed at Raffles, the palm which is next door. I visited this hotel to watch a football game as they had a sports bar and I was very pleased with the setting. It was classy and service was amazing barring the free crisps which were horrible yet addictive! Check out my video! Seems like from the reception areas and general service this a slight downgrade from Raffles but didn't stay there to really confirm this! Views from the beach are immense!

We went here for a pool / beach day and were very dissapointed. The sun longers are comfortable and the music is good, however the food is very average (probably below average). The main issue here is the service. We have 4-5 occasions where incorrect food and drinks were brought to us. The waitors come across quite arrogant and don't bother with no pads so it's no surprise they come back multiple times to check your order and then still get it wrong. One of the most frustrating things is how the staff shout across to one another! This really isn't what you want when trying to relax on the beach and especially at hotel of this kind. At the end of our day, we have to wait for 20 minutes for the bill and when it did come it then had extra items on that we did not have. They were very apologetic about this and offered a free drink, but by this point we just wanted to leave. This place has great potential but they need a complete change of staff.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this hotel and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. One of the highlights of my stay was the exceptional service provided by the hotel staff. They were attentive, professional, and always willing to assist with any requests. Overall, my experience at this hotel was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of the hotel's prime location, comfortable rooms, outstanding service, and excellent facilities made my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Dubai. I want to express my sincere gratitude to Ms. Amira Shawkey for her invaluable help and support.

Ocean view is supposed to be quiet and relaxing, However, we had very noisy balcony facing ocean but keep in mind the street between hotel and ocean was very busy with cars you can’t enjoy the balcony. The hotel pool and beachfront on the opposite side and we were told there are no availability facing the quiet side. We had two bedrooms suite it was very spacious and comfortable. Restaurants prices are crazy expensive. family friendly hotel in general. 3 stars is fair review for the price compared to the value (two bedrooms spacious unit) I hope they elevate their reception professionalism as we took too long time checking in, keep in mind, we had a long call before the check in day discussing all the details. The hotel has great potential though.

I’d like to start with the staff was absolutely amazing! Kind, and professional. The room was 2 bedrooms and beautiful and they did upgrade me from a ocean view to the palm view which was very kind. But The property all together was a disappointment for the rate. I felt I didn’t get value for my money. Paying for a 5 star resort…and receiving 3 star facilities. It’s advertised as a hotel and residences but it’s really hotel apartments. This is not a 5 star facility. There are no dining options except for 2 restaurants and room service. The facilities are mediocre. The food was ok. For the same rate there are 5 star resorts in dubai that live up to a 5 star standard.

Our stay completely ruined by the very loud music and noise level.... A party was going on next to palm view rooms with crazy loud music till late night... We were unable to sleep or relax... Management kept on saying apologies about that... but did nothing about it... Will not recommend anyone with Family to visit here, will face a hard time and regret your stay as me and my family are doing right now... Music was so crazy loud and the doors and window are not at all sound proof... Not at all coming back here again.... and will not recommend anyone with Family if they have any party scheduled.... You will spoil your stay and regret the choise...

الموقع: مميز ومناسب جدا لمن معه أطفال. تعامل الموظفين: راقي جدًا، احببت انتباههم وحرصهم عن دخول الأطفال والخروج من أبواب الفندق خاصة الموظف المهذب السوداني. الخدمة: سريعة ولبقة، وأطفالي احبوا الموظف اللطيف حسن المسؤول عن خدمة المسبح، وهو يتعامل مع الجميع بلطف واهتمام يعاب على الفندق ما يلي: ١- بعض الاحتياجات الضرورية كالملعقة والمايكرويف غير متوفرات! ٢- مستوى جودة الأدوات الصحية كالدش في البانيو والمروش أقل مما هو متوقع، كما أن هناك مشكلة تتكرر دوما وهي أن تصريف الماء في البانيو والمغسلة لا يكون بسهولة ولابد من جهد مضاعف لفكها (كل يوم!) والزر الخلفي المخصص لفكها لا يعمل، والسبب جودتها رديئة. ٣. حجم الثلاجة أصغر من احتياجات العائلة. ٤. يوجد شبك أسفل النوافذ بحجب الرؤية خاصة للأطفال زهم يتتبعون اخوتهم. دمتم

Liked · The two rooms was excellent and very big with luxury furniture and top of cleanliness, the air freshener is distinctive , very thing available in the kitchen oven , washing dishwasher , washing machine, microwave .....etc. the Breakfast was amazing with a variety to choose from. Very nice gardens and restaurant on beach The front office staff and stuff on swimming pool were very nice, polite and professional, especially Mr.Ahmad and special thanks to Anastasia ( Lady in red) for her support and helpful , really she is professional in hospitality.

We stayed at the Superior Penthouse. It is such a beautiful Lovely Hotel. Our stay was extremely pleasant....the staff, cleaning crew, servers, attends in the lobby ...all amazing individuals. The welcome was amazing. The amenities..surrounding of the hotel is beautiful...a Must stay when visiting Dubai. It is sure our Home Away From Home. Thanks Kempinski for the beautiful experience. This is one of the best hotels we’ve ever been in. Clean, luxurious, nice, great caring team since the first moment, delicious generous breakfast, wonderful cleaning service, great laundry service. It has all that you need to have a very special hotel experience. They always made sure to take the extra step to help us and make us happy. The concierge office always offered help and they actually helped us make reservations with restaurants and with airport ride when we left the office. This will be our first choice when we come back to Dubai (hopefully soon).

At the Kempinski Hotel, the afternoon tea experience offered a mix of elements. The array of treats, while delightful in taste, had a few that seemed too simplistic for the grandeur associated with such a prestigious establishment. Service was commendable, with attentive staff ensuring a pleasant experience. While there was a decent variety of around eight teas, it was noticeable that one was missing from the menu. The live music, although a beautiful touch, was a tad loud for a relaxed tea setting. Despite these nuances, the overall ambiance and experience were pleasant and reflective of the hotel's luxurious reputation

We bought the beach and pool day pass for AED 225 per person. To be honest, considering we're talking about the Kempinsky brand, I was quite disappointed. The beach was not well cleaned and there were rocks and seaweed everywhere. Both showers at the pool barely worked as no water came out. It was hard to get the waiter's attention to get service. As for the on site restaurant, they insisted we wear clothes to dine (they're a restaurant on a beach!) and most of their outdoor tables were not in the shade. For the price that we paid, the experience was a disappointment. It's unlikely we'll visit again.

We went here a few months ago and had the holiday of a lifetime. One of my best holidays as of yet. My son loved it my only regret is we dident book it for longer. We went off season and it was amaizing, it was very quiet so we had the whole pool area to ourselves. The service was outstanding, all the staff were friendly and all our needs were met. The room was spacious and balcony was massive where my son could run around. The only thing i would suggest an improvement on was breakfast, maybe to have more variety or to have a omelette stand. Daycation with pool & beach was a great decision for Christmas eve. Pool is warm, hotel wasn't crowded with plenty of activities for kids and fun. we paid 510 aed for two adults. full amount is redeemable for f&b. Food and drinks are delicious and fresh, portions are big. staff are very welcoming and accommodating. Special thanks to Yaseen for taking care of our day off. Very humble, welcoming and helpful young gentleman. We are certainly found our new favorite weekend spot and coming back next weekend again.

Perfect location on palm. The interiors are little contemporary (not modern) (little not as per my liking). But the hotel is top class. It has a good pool, beach (as other beaches on palm are), kids area etc etc. Could improve on the Indian food menu in room service and breakfast. But what is even more top class is the service, people were very friendly, very quick to respond. Special mention to Ahmed. Better than 5 star standards.

نجمة قليل جداً .. الغرف سيئة جدا والاطلالات مختلفة تماما عن الصور البحر لا يمكن رؤيته باطلالة !!! مع انه عند الحجز تم توضيح المتطلبات دور مرتفع واطلالة بحرية ولكن تفاجأت انهم يضعونك باطلالة بحرية لجهة بحر الشارع وتم تغييره لجناح اسوأ باطلالة تكاد ترى البحر وعند طلب التغيير افادوا ان هذا هو حجزي !! غريب جدا وهذا ما سبب عصبيتي واستيائي لا انصح السكن فيه نهائيا سعر مرتفع والخيارات في المنطقة افضل واجمل خصوصا انها منطقة بحرية الاطلالة تكون هي اساس الاختيار .. لم اعتاد على كتابك تقييم سيء لكن لأنني فعلا حزنت على اختياري للفندق

One of the most beautiful and unique hotel on Palm jumeirah. Very nice architecture and design. Highly recommended Brunello restaurant, food is awesome ! Excellent location, fancy residences with a great view. As for the lobby and services, there's a lot of jobs to be done, lobby furniture needs renovation, you can sit for long without anyone coming for you to order any coffee or drinks, the hotel's restaurant smelled very bad when I was there. They got a big pool with a bar and seating areas around.

I have been to Dubai several times .I can say this hotel is the most comfortable hotel in Dubai with its exeptionally spacious rooms. The beach is long and nice. All the staff are friendly and helpful with smiling face. I strongly recommend this hotel to everyone who needs rest, peace and joy.

We had a great time here at the Kempinski. Above all, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Always a smile on their face and competent. Mr Ahmed Adel the Night Manager and Amira deserves a mention here. His smile and greeting alone made you forget all your stress or worries!

My family chose Kempinski for our spring holidays in Dubai, and it was an excellent experience. The hotel is very clean, chic, and has an overall friendly atmosphere. Breakfast and restaurants are extraordinary, with fresh juices and dishes you can enjoy around fountains, the pool, and the beach. The staff welcomed us with kindness and patiently suggested and reserved events for us as tourists in Dubai. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel.

The resort is super luxurious and it's just pure joy for the eyes. The beach is very clean, with turquoise waters and comfortable sunbeds. Feels like heaven.

Had lunch today at their seaside restaurant Villamore and it was fabulous! The calamari with lemon aioli was crispy, the sea bass filet was pan seared to perfection and the millefogile pastry was absolutely delicious! Loved the whole vibe and the calmness of the restaurant

I went for the beach and pool for the full day with my 2 kids it was just WoW! Hotel, facilities, service ....name it ! Are all just amazing. Weather was fantastic as well as the swimming pool and the sea temperatures. Lunch at the beach with great food , a bit expensive, it s a 5 stars ! We just had beautiful day. We will for sure come back very soon.

Known as Raffles Palms Dubai it a nice vacation resort. Services is outstanding with lots of activities for the family. Gorgeous interior and good food the only thing that bothers me that the room ceiling is low. Hotel has it own beach front ans swiming pool but the pool is just an ordinary pool nothing fancy about the pool.

We love coming to the pool/beach in the weekend. It’s family friendly, the pool is beautiful and service is v good. The only downside is the DJ that starts playing around 3 PM (music doesn’t go with the vibe of the place at all)

Visited for a good day before Christmas with my parents. We were really impressed! Beautiful pool right on the beach, comfy sun lounger’s, and the service was excellent (thank you Remmy!). Came for the Friday ladies day which is really good value. Food and drinks are delicious! Will definitely be back!

Amazing place it’s our favorite in dubai services amazing so chilled lovely kids swimming pool life guards so good very nice to kids and ask for Tamer he’s Egyptian waiter taking care of us all day bless him …. Several rounds for free iced creams for all kids …. Beach so clean well done for all staff and this place should be rated 10 stars bless you all

Attractive surroundings with beach, sea and some greenery. Located on the crescent of Palm Jumeirah so quite a long drive from Sheikh Zayed Road. When this building was completed, it would have been an architectural masterpiece, but it is now showing some signs of age.

Can't comment on the rooms, but the entrance is one of the most impressive architectural designs I've ever seen. The way the lights reflect in the mirrors is just amazing. Standing and admiring it literally feels like being part of a Disney movie. We went there to enjoy the stand up comedy and we had a great evening.

Amazing hotel rooms, location and service. We booked 2 bedroom apartment with private pool. We really enjoyed our stay.

We went there for beach and pool access and it was amazing! My 3 years old also had a blast. Food was great. Value for money outstanding; 255 per person fully redeemable for food and beverages. You just need to get their early to secure a sunbed. Will definitely go back

We spent a relaxing 3-hours on the beach with a fulfilling meal and drinks included. The beach was clean and quiet. No need to book in advance during weekdays. Tuesdays and Fridays are ladies’ days where you pay half price and have access to bottomless drinks.

I would rate this wonderful and luxury place 5* but if not one issues, the beach is filled with tony stones that hurt ur feet to get in, no sand, sadly we couldn’t enjoy the soft sand and went to buy water shoes instead. Otherwise all great!

Hotel is nice with a good location but I attended a ramadan iftar here and wasn't a huge fan of the buffet food. Wasn't the worst but wasn't the best either, just felt average. Staff were polite though
