A terrible night's sleep at The S Hotel Al Barsha I recently stayed at The S Hotel Al Barsha for one night on Thursday, October 5th, 2023. Overall, it was a terrible experience that I would not recommend to other travelers. The problems began early in the morning at 5:45am when the fire alarm went off. This woke all of the guests up and sent us running down the stairs in a panic. However, when we reached the lobby there was no staff or security to provide guidance or assistance. There was no Manager on Duty, and the front desk staff seemed to have no idea what was going on. They just kept telling guests "10 more minutes" every time we asked questions. Even after it was clear the fire alarm was false, it took over 90 minutes for maintenance to silence and reset the alarm. During this time all of the confused guests, including myself, were left sitting in the lobby with no leadership or direction from any hotel staff. It was a chaotic scene of staff running around aimlessly without providing any real help. Considering I had only checked in at 10pm for a short one night stay, this early and disruptive false alarm ruined my ability to get any decent rest. The lack of preparedness and leadership from the hotel staff made the situation even more frustrating. I expect more from a 4-star hotel, especially when it comes to emergency protocols and handling guest concerns. In summary, I had an incredibly poor experience at The S Hotel Al Barsha and would not recommend staying here, especially for business travelers who expect a good night's rest. The false fire alarm, lack of staff preparedness, and absence of hotel leadership showed a blatant disregard for basic guest needs. I suggest looking at other 4-star options in the area that can provide better service and value.

I got the room at a great rate so I can’t complain too much, however, I’ve stayed in plenty hotels in Dubai, some of which are in the same range and although this hotel wasn’t awful, there are certainly better options in this price range. The rooms were not clean (not to my standards at least). I could feel the fridge door handle was sticky, the bed didn’t have a fitted sheet (only a flat sheet) which came undone and the duvet was also stained under the duvet cover. The room wasn’t “dirty” per se but it wasn’t spotless either. I also heard someone complaining while I was waiting for my room to get ready but I couldn’t make out what it was about. It took almost 2 hours to get my room ready but in fairness I was 2 hours early (in most cases they do try check you in early if you arrive early but maybe I should have called in advance). If you can get a room at a really good rate I would say go for it but if not there are plenty other options in the same range which are definitely better and better located. Also, on my last night the fire alarm went off at 5:45am. Not long after I was told it was a false alarm. Although this is not the hotels fault, it went off for over and hour. It was so loud I had to leave my room.

I stayed for 45 days in Dubai, and I changed a hotel almost every week. I can say that this hotel, by far, was the best among all. Quite neighbourhoods, easy to access area. There is a small mall across the street where you can find almost everything you might need. The staff are so friendly, welcoming, and professional. Rooms are super clean and well maintained, and services are excellent. You get free WiFi with excellent speed, free parking, and complimentary hot drinks. Furniture is almost new and well maintained, rooms are well sound isolated, and bed sheets are replaced daily with clean, fresh sheets. Value for money? It is more than satisfying. I will consider this hotel for all my upcoming visits; and I hope they maintain this excellent level of service and maintenance.

3 Star hotel at best. A long way away from the attractions of Dubai. I really thought I did my homework on this one. I read the reviews, not sure if I got a bad room and service or what happened but this hotel is in the middle of nowhere. I stayed 9 nights and was ready to leave after 2. The room was old and bathroom mouldy and small. At least 30 minutes to go to the city, marina or the palm, I spent a small fortune in Taxi's and Ubers just getting out of the area. I could also hear people next to us and above us and their TV. I would not recommend this hotel unless it is a 1 night in and out visit

I have been staying at this hotel for the past 5 days and it has been a wonderful experience. The staff are all tremendously helpful and superb. The amenities, the up to date technology and the food is wonderful. It’s in a decent location and the city Centre is next door to go shopping or pass time. Overall it is a great and wonderful hotel.

The rooms are amazing with up to date light fixture and electronic pads with a touch of a button you can control all of the lights, the DND sign and etc.

Love this place! Nice price, nice service! They game the Quran book as a gift when I just asked and got interested in it! Every worker here is really friendly and precious! I will definitely come back here once I visit Dubai:)

The Miracle Garden is near here, so we went there by walk. Also it has a mini entertainment center near it, so you can order anything from the foodcourt, or just have a minute walk to reach it.

السلام عليكم الفندق رائع جداً انيق هادي لمن يبحث عن الراحه والراحه والاستحمام روائح الغرفه والدولاب تنظيم يريح البصر الاستقبال من الطف الموظفين الفندق مريح لدرجة لا تتصورها كنت على سفر وكانت محطة توقف وفعلا من أمتع المحطات الاثاث جدا فخم الممرات أنيقة بصور اللوحات والتحف ما استطيع التعبير عن سروري بإقامتي بهذا الصرح الجميل ملاحظتين ياليت الفندق يقوم بصلاح مايلزم النت ( واي فأي ) ضعيف جدا بالغرفة ويقطع باستمرار ارتفاع صوت الموسيقى بالهو مما يصعب على الشخص التواصل والاستماع الجيد ❤️ شكرا لكم جميعا من القلب

I booked in this hotel many times and every time I wasn't disappointed. I had a great service every single time. Everyone extremely kind, so much that you feel like they're your family at the end of your trip here in Dubai. The breakfast was totally worth it. This time I came with a group of person (all my family) and they all thought the same thing as me about the place. How are the room services so god awful? They are entering the rooms whilst my wife and I were sleeping. Thank god that my wife woke up on time and blocked the access from the man to enter our room. Truly just unacceptable behavior. I hope they either do better next time.
