AVOID! If you're a traveler looking for a good place to enjoy your stay in Sofia, look somewhere far else! I've stayed in hundreds of hostels, and this is definitely the worst one. First of all, if you arrive a second later than the check in time at 7 PM, the staff will almost refuse you, nor unlock the front gate leaving you on the streets. There are no lockers or secure places to leave luggage. What hostel doesn't have this? Common areas was dirty, and it's not a place to really meet and hang out with other people. Dorm room OK, but the mattresses are way overdue for a change, and you have to make the bed yourself (weird). All the beds in the dorm was also making loud squeaking sounds when shifting positions. The one staff was very unwelcoming and didn't put any interest towards making our stay more enjoyable. Early In the morning, without asking if we'd like to extend our stay or so she simply removed our linens and started telling us repeatedly to check out, despite having another three hours left. As this wasn't enough she tried charging us even more money upon leaving. Apperently she forgot some extra charges when we checked in. Quite the attitude and didn't want to hear us out. We were happy to leave for a different hostel after arguing for 40 minutes. Not recommend!

Very nice hostel, rooms are not crowdy at all and equipped with air-conditioning. Kitchen available at all floors, well-equipped as well. Toilets and showers also for each floor. The hostel is 5-6 minutes away from the centre of Sofia. Metro station is 400 meters away from the hostel Friendly staff, welcoming and professional. Huge thank you to Bartol, Marco and Teo!

We hate to leave bad reviews but could never recommend this place. There are far better hostels in the centre of Sofia. There is only one shared a bathroom and no social area or atmosphere at all. The hostel is in a bad position, miles away from the centre, to top it off there was a strange man who scared the life out of me and my girlfriend, he stared at us and followed us around I in the middle of the night in the shared dorm and we saw him going through people's coats and bags, apparently he was a member of staff! We had to leave early. Not a good experience in the slightest, try Hostel Mostel or the Art Hostel in the centre. Also my bed smelt like urine!

Рецепционистката на рецепцията е приятна. Кърпите и спалното бельо са чисти, а стаята е топла. Матракът е удобен, а завивката е топла. Водопроводната инсталация е стара, но измита, вижда се как камериерката работи, козметиката беше с добро качество. Не мога да намеря друга стая в центъра на такава достъпна цена. Имаше много красиви места на пешеходно разстояние. Бих препоръчала. на мен лично хотелът ми хареса. Стаята е чиста, тиха и много топла. Трябва да има някаква звукоизолация, поне аз не чувах, че в съседната стая живеят хора. Хавлиите и спалното бельо са чисти като пискюл. Дамите на рецепцията са любезни и приветливи. Като цяло останах доволна.

Местото е прекрасно, близо до невероятен парк, в който можете да се разхождате и да развеждате своите домашни любимци с удоволствие. Обслужването е предоставено на много мили, внимателни и изключително търпеливи и приятелски настроени доброволци. Те ще изпълнят всяка Ваша молба и желание.Когато искате да посетите хостела през нощта е нужно да уведомите рецепцията до 22 часа, за да Ви очакват. Желая Ви приятни моменти и престой в това красиво кътче в град София.

There were very kind people, especially the volunteers Lea, Emily, Iago, Bernardo. We sat there and talked for a while and played cards, it was fun. I got the best bed in our dorm. Hope they will do my laundry tomorrow morning as we committed it haha. At all great value for the money.

Great atmosphere and friendly staff - feels very homely. It is cheap, there is WiFi, washing machine and delicious communal kitchen. We slept two nights and met many nice people - got great ideas for our own onward travel and tips for good areas and restaurants we could visit in Sofia. The place really brings people together. A small minus is the mattress - it would be wrong to say that it was pleasant. But all in all a lovely place and it is very close to a subway - can only be recommended.

The place is far from the center of Sophia but has access to the metro and busses. Its near a supermarket (Billa), and a market. There are lots of places to eat at reasonable price and they're clean. The place is inexpensive, but does not offer that much. Their internet is unreliable! The place could do with a bit more of cleanliness cleanliness. In fairness the person who runs the place (Alex), is very nice. He tries his best to please the guest.

So far, the worst hospitality in Europe I've met and I've stayed in many hostels. Russian owner (or manager) doesn't greet guests, doesn't smile, doesn't explain anything, doesn't speak English. His employee shares all the cons except of English, which he speaks but really badly. The hostel is dirty, one of the valves in the bathroom goes off. The customers were local workers (or looked like them).

Cheap, with everything we need, hot water, heating system, drinkable tap water, warm welcome and really nice hoste However there were no lock on our room the only lock is on the front door and a bit far from the center but easily accessible by transports. We spent a good stay, I recommend

Very cosy, clean and with good vibes. The hostel is very small, it's so easy to feel at home. Thanks also to the staff and the volunteers, very friendly and helpfull. It's about 30 minutes walking from the centre but the metro is one minute from the hostel. I will definitely stay there again.

The staff were very helpful, and the location was just next to the metro line. There's nothing else in the area if you don't take the metro. The shared rooms were good. Single beds, no bunks, but beware of snoring people. Shower facilities were just fine.

I stayed in 10 Coins for 5 days, and I would totally recommend it! It's very clean and quiet during the working week. Especially Lucas is a great guy. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Most of all it's cheap: only 6 euro per night! Metro and supermarket are within walking distance and there is even a 24 hour beer/cigarette shop across the street.

The first impressions are lovely. The owner/manager, who is Belgian, is a very nice and soft spoken person. The building and neighborhood are quiet, quaint and charming. Has got good rustic feels. It's not exactly in the touristy neighborhood but it's worth it if you like to relax and sleep at a nice place. The metro is hardly 3 mins walk.

The people here are so nice and the location is very fun and clean. Lots of good services like washing machine and lockers and cooking facilities

The hostel is not far from the city center. You can take many trams or walking as well. it is well equipped and the facilities are good. Kitchens, restrooms and big spaces to stay and rest. For me it is a recommendation to stay.

Is a good hostel with a good staff! The hostel is open 24/7. They have washing machine, fridge, showers, etc And is a quiet place and very safe! I let my bicycle in a yard two day.s, nobody touch! I recomanded this place!

Best hostel I've stayed at in Sofia so far! The neighborhood is quiet, the rooms are nice, and the AC works very well. I didn't get this at first, but some of the guests help out with service and cleaning, so please keep in mind when interacting with them that they are probably just guests like you.

Very chill place in a quiet neighborhood, only 3 minutes away from the metro that gets you to the center in 7 minutes. It has cozy vibes, feels really comfortable to stay there. Also good facilities. Had a great time here!

Stayed here 5 nights and it was very relaxed, good common space and despite being out of the city it was directly on a tram route into the center. Quick walk to nearby supermarket.

I stayed here for months,staff is very good,rooms are cleaned every day, they have more refrigerators, area is good too and have 4 big supermarkets, metro stop just nearby, only 3 stop to centre, different free wifi, every floor has own kitchen and bathroom

Very friendly welcome, nice people. Clean and cozy rooms. We were traveling with the dogs and we chose that hotel because it is pet friendly, and we were very satisfied. Location is great! Thank youuu!!

You have the choice between dorms and rooms really huge, clean and comfy (27euros/night). Not in the city centre but the hostel is 5 min away from the metro (then, 5 stations to serdika) or by taxi it costs 5 lev. Definitely to recommend.

The host was very understanding. He welcomed us in the middle of the night. We were left out from a previous booking with a last minute canselation. This is a friendly and clean hostel.

Located in a quiet residential area. Everything clean. Walking distance to supermarket and metro. By walk it's 40~50 mins walk from the central (attractions sites). Right next to a park full of trees to chill out.

The girl at the reception : no smile, no hello "you have to pay", no password for the door, no password for the wifi. The room was okay but we had two very small blanket to sleep in a two person bed size...

Nice place for backpackers. Staff was very helpful. Close to the metro station.

Good position (close to metro station ) quite atmosphere and personnel are very polite. The kitchen could be have more pods. Bit of more maintenance and they will have 5 stars

Nice peaceful place and staff is very friendly. 3 minutes walk from metro station. 30 minutes walk to city center. I can say it's good place to live for short and long stay.

Nice hostel. Caring and pleasant staff. Only thing no lockers. But that can be overcomed. Really good place to crash for a few nights.

I have been on 50+ hostels. This is the worst one! Don't stay here. Dirty, not central at all ... broken mattress springs. Not good!

Nice hostel, a little outside the centre. Just stayed one night, did not see the staff around much. Room was comfortable.
