Hamburgers are horrible and too much sauce. Chips are too thin and yuck ! BBQ chickens though are quite nice, so two stars. But they are closed too often. In today's hard times when businesses are closing around, you want to be open as much as possible in case you suffer the same fate !

One Whole Chicken

I had an Ego burger meal and was more than happy with what I got. The burger had a sufficient amount of chicken on it, to justify the price. The only thing that let it down, was the lack of sauce. Maybe offer customers peri-peri, sweet chilli, bbq, etc. The shoestring fries are absolutely delicious. A bit light on the chicken salt though. I liked them so much, I stopped for another helping, on my way home from the beach.

We eat here regularly, one of a favourite chicken shops. Today there was a miscommunication with a phone order. I picked up the order and went home only to realise one item had chilli sauce added. When I called them back to let them know, they were great fixed it right up and made a new wrap. Very happy with their food and service ☺️

Burgers are alright, served with shoestring fries (not my favourite). Quite overpriced IMHO. The service was average, asked for only a tiny bit of mayo on my burger and then they smother it in it. Also the woman before me was asked what type of salt she wants on her chips, but i was not given the same courtesy. I don't think I'll be back in a hurry, shame since I work nearby.

Last time I tried a chicken burger here was more than 12 years ago and I remember the burgers tasting great. This time though the Burgers were not the same, tasted bland, didn't seem to have any sauce and just 2 small pieces of lettuce and the buns were very average. At least the chicken wasn't burnt. Chips were OK though.

Food used to be really good here. Now when you get a ego burger or a double ego burger you get the same amount of chicken and that is minimal, half the bun with no chicken. Chips were also thin and oily. Given it a few chances now but don’t think it’s worth it anymore

Really bad, I was waiting in line while the staff member was fiddling around with the hot chips, another customer barged in front of me and despite me saying I had been there first, she ignored this, and proceeded to serve the other customer. Won't be back!

Absolutely amazing place have been going here for probably about 15 years it is fantastic best chicken on the beaches beach any chicken shop around great price friendly staff highly recommend

This chicken shop has been here for almost 25 years. The name has changed a few times but one thing has definitely stayed the same- their hot Portuguese chicken burger is an absolute beauty.

Food is over priced and just didn’t like the boy’s attitude. No smile and bad hospitality there. ….

I had the Hot Ego, while it was nice, nothing fancy or anything. The price was around about normal for a burger/chicken shop. While it was good, I don't rate it. Only cash
