However, the behavior of a manager can significantly impact the overall impression of the restaurant. I hope that Wendy's management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue with Beth. Improving customer service standards at this location is crucial to ensure that customers can enjoy their meals in a pleasant environment. In conclusion, my recent visit to Wendy's was overshadowed by the disappointing behavior of the manager, Beth. Food and service were great. Parking enforcement is beyond extreme. I literally went inside and bought my food to go and by the time I got back to my car I had a ticket. It was reversed but the parking enforcement company sent the following as a message. “Appeal Accepted – Doc Provided We have completed our review of your appeal. Our ruling is as follows: Appeal Accepted – Doc Provided Thank you for your submission. Please be advised that this location is private property and all parking rules have been created by the property owner(s). Diamond Parking has been contracted to enforce these parking rules as posted on the signage by issuing notices and/or towing any vehicle not in compliance, without exception. APPEALS AGENT COMMENT(S): The parking rules for this location are very strict. The signage provided clearly states this is for Wendy’s customers ONLY, WHILE in the restaurant. Which means, if a driver leaves their vehicle in the parking lot and leave to walk anywhere else other than Wendy’s, the vehicle will be subject to ticketing and/or towing. The maximum allotted time is ONLY for while patrons are in Wendy’s. This is not permitted for visiting Wendy’s and combining visits to other neighboring stores as well. As this is the vehicle license plates first notice with our company, we will honor the receipts sent us from Wendy’s and cancel this notice as a one-time courtesy. There's a noticeable absence of ice, and requesting it from the staff garners exasperated reactions. The overall organization leaves much to be desired. I regret having to share this review, but it's crucial for them to improve their operations. Particularly during the bustling dinner hours, they should ensure a sufficient staff presence. Preparing for dinner service by restocking their machines is essential. Responding to customer inquiries with eye-rolling is highly discourteous. It's important to note that this issue lies not with the staff, but with the owners, who ought to invest in additional personnel. Cutting corners is not advisable. The dining area where patrons are seated is in an unsanitary state. Basic amenities like napkins and ketchup are absent. Wendy's, what is the reason behind this? A serious reassessment is in order. They should seriously contemplate making changes and hiring more staff to address these concerns.

So this is like the third time that I’ve come to this Wendy’s to get food for my kid and they’ve screwed something up. They rush you away at the Drive-through window and when you ask them if everything is in the bag they say yes yes yes and they basically rush you away and this is the third time that they forgot something so when I get home check my order, there’s something missing I tried calling the store to let them know they don’t answer the damn phone, so how are you supposed to tell them something is missing when you already got home and they won’t answer the door like you have to go back there in order to get through to them waste more gas when gases are they expensive that’s what sucks is like you have to spend more gas to go fix their mistake. It’s stupid and all they do is give you the item that they forgot they don’t try and make it better. They don’t try to fix their mistake to make you happy days so we are you are you a burger? OK will give you your burger, we’re not going to replace the guys are the time that you had to spend fixing our mistake

DO NOT STAY HERE FOR MORE THAN ONE HOUR DURING PEAK DINNER HOURS IF YOU DROVE HERE! Food is stellar as usual, no problems here. Cleanliness of the restaurant is great as well. Just beware of parking in their lot! My main issue with the experience here is that my car got TICKETED in their lot, when I was waiting for my food for 15 minutes and another 15 minutes eating in the restaurant. I spoke with the manager about it and she directly told me that they would handle and cancel it. I then get a letter in the mail two weeks later, that the ticket was NOT canceled, and now I have to pay the price of a poor quality steak (that I can’t even eat) for eating at this Wendy’s location. tl;dr, I payed more than $100 dollars for driving here, waiting and eating at this Wendy’s location and all I wanted was my Baconator.

I always like the b'fast of Wendy's and most of menu are my favorites. I rated this place not perfect mainly because it's most convenient entrances were closed all time. There is one and ONLY one entrance at drive through lane that allowed people to enter the restaurant. I walked from Broadway sky train station and found the entrance along Cambie Rd was locked. Returned to the steep Cambie Rd and found 2nd entrance was locked too. I had to return to Cambie Rd again, turned right at W. 8th Ave, then arrived parking lot. Walked up the lane shared with drive through in order to enter Wendy's. It's snowing that time, It ruined the start of my day. It's really inconvenient for anyone and exceptionally difficult for people had impaired mobility or need assistance to walk around. This location is great but was ruined.

Good time to you! Yesterday I was issued a fine for 20 minutes of parking, when it was written that 30 minutes were allowed. I was in a hurry so as not to break your rules. Our family buys food at Wendy's restaurant, but every day we can't afford to eat because it's so delicious! Yesterday I just found out that the entire parking lot is only for guests of the Wendy's restaurant, I didn’t know what that was all, because in 30 minutes a very large text was written, but what is only for restaurant guests is small text, and my eyes no longer see such small text. It turns out it is unfair to give a fine for the fact that a person has poor eyesight, and he could not read the small text! As a law-abiding person, I paid, but please make the main text the size of the text for 30 minutes. Recently had gone here for dinner, we parked in the lot to dine-in. After ordering, we had spent $45.54. Upon eating, we went home without thinking we would receive a parking ticket for $86.50 the next morning on our window. The ticket had said “Unauthorized parking” and “For customers only. Walked off towards Home Depot” at 6:42pm. Which is around the time we had arrived. And no, we did not go to Home Depot at any point. We ate our meal and left. But after seeing MULTIPLE reviews, it is quite common here. Do yourself a favour and DO NOT go here. My thought is, maybe the parking lot attendee has no concept of time and has lack of human decency just to get money. how about you actually do your job and not wrongfully accuse people just because you don’t want to use your vision properly. Anyways, do better Diamond Parking.

Overall a pretty good Wendy's, just remember to stay for parking and don't leave the property, the parking people are absolute vultures there. This use to be a regular place for my friends and I back when we had to go to VGH for school. I always grabbed a Dave's Hamburger while my best friend would get a chili along with a baked potato. Visiting recently, not much has changed with the exception of the self-orderinf screens. Traffic is still decent here so food is always fresh. I only picked up a large fries and after a walk back, they were still incredibly fresh and hot! Wendy's fries are indeed up there in top-notch fries territory. Come here if you are nearby and walking-distance away. It will be highly likely that you will get some fresh food thanks to the location

Wendy's breakfasts are probably the best tasting fast-food option, but unfortunately this location's service is extremely poor. My friend and I will pop by in the drive through occasionally on our way to work, and out of about 10 times that we have gone, they have messed up our order 8 times. My friend has a dairy allergy, and every single time, very clearly requests no cheese and no butter. She even asks the employee to read back the order and reiterate the request. And almost EVERY single time, her order still has butter and cheese. On top of this, we've been forgotten in the drive-through at least half a dozen times.

As someone who loves Wendys spicy chicken burger, i can say ive been to a lot of wendys. But non i found as slow as this one. I have been there couple of times around 11 PM, when there are hardly 1 or 2 people in line. Yet somehow by the time you get your order, youre past 15 min. People littraly decide to leave rather stand and wait for so long. Whats the point of being a fast food restraunt if your coustomers are waiting for so long. Please avoid this place. Front end seems disorganized every time. I've been going to this location since the late 80s. The consistent issues I see is the staff looking and acting disorganized. Even when it's not that busy ...orders are not dispatched to customers in a timely manner. Lots of talking in different languages in front of customers. Doesn't loom professional. I understand this is a multicultural workplace, but there should be a standard when customers are present. Speaking in your own native language with your coworkers sounds offensive. Some may think the staff's talking about the customer in their own language.

My very first time at a Wendy’s drive thru and I thought the staff was very friendly. She took the time to take my order and offered alternative for items that weren’t available and gave my food with a smile!

Food is always solid. Workers are very friendly and jovial which can be hard to maintain when working in food. Not a lot of room to wait for food which can lead to the place getting backed up. Machine ordering is hidden far from the cash registers. Tables are usually a little gross but with the high traffic of customers I can't imagine it can be helped. Use the drive through most of the time and it's really fast and friendly!

It's a Wendy's. No brain-dead toys here. Well known fast food chain. The food is about as good as, perhaps a little better than, those from other fast food chains. But the kid's meals are great! More precisely, the toys that come with the kid's meals are a step above the rest. Not the usual action figures that advertise movies or TV shows, the toys here need construction and imagination. They encourage thinking and story telling. While a book would work just as well for me, the kids seldom choose a book over a toy. So, we go to Wendy's for the kid's meals.

Ordered on doordash price was $35 and it said it would be 28 mins then it turned to 49 mins then my doordash stole my food cuz it said picked up then he drove the opposite way from my place and disappeared. Then it said 49 mins. I called the restaurant cuz doordash support is useless. And Wendy's said they don't have the order cuz it was picked up and they would not make it again.

I normally order from this Wendy's the Cobb salad and it's fresh. Today I got one that seems like the chicken is a few days old. It is very hard to put my fork into and chew. Baconander! OMG IT'S SO GOOD! I wasn't expecting anything that good from a fast food chain... Mdonald needs to reeducation themselves... Instead of cutting cost (take away jobs and boost bottomline), give something back to the customers. Picture tell a thousand words. Just look at the picture. The burger melts in your mouth! Juicy, tender and massive! I felt satisfaction afterwards. Customer services are great too. Friendly, and quick. Never judge a person by their look and color of their skin.

Wendys serves wonderful, fresh and real food. The spicy chicken sandwich and baked potato makes a great meal. This food is usually served with a smile by great friendly staff. This branch unfortunately is managed by an angry lady at the cash register. The place isn't clean.

Sometimes they make mistakes but they always fix it quickly and get it right. The burgers are amazing. If you prefer your Burgers to be less salty then Wendy's is the place. Go for the Triple Burger, you won't be disappointed. You'll probably want some extra mustard, ketchup or hot sauce on that triple Burger. And they've got the coolest Drink Machine that I've seen. Very busy location a lunch time. Staff was quick, food was fresh and hot. Update July 2022: front counter ordering gets very backed up. It seems like they have staff, but they are doing anything but taking orders. The bathrooms are in the basement and stink, no paper towels, only a hand dryer and it's useless, like a light breeze, the coke machine on the right seems to always be out of most flavors.

Bad customer service using the drive through today. They over charged my order for a salad. Charging me $30. Then they blamed me. Said I didn't order using the drive through. Staff are overworked I'm sure cause they seem to be short staffed. Food was cold when I got it and could tell the fries had sat there for a while getting cold and old. However I finally got the burger correctly this time. As previously wasn't able to get a normal baconattor or the right ingredients for a Ceasar salad. So I'd say it's a 50/50 chance of getting what you ordered but a 100%shot at getting cold food.

I've never been to a Wendy's before, it was surprisingly similar to McDonald's. My impression was that it's just as good, a solid alternative to a phenomenon that is McDonald's. A very nice and professional lady that seemed like a team leader was working at the counter, she handled a homeless male Karen situation really well. It was an enjoyable experience.

Very awful service and specially the morning staff that treated us very bad also the food was not up to the mark. I am a very old customer of Wendy’s but i am totally disappointed by their service and staff. I will never visit again.

Quick efficient drive-through. Always happy with the burgers, especially the baconator. The fries never seem to be fresh, more like they’ve sat under the heat for a while, but it’s a Wendy’s. You can’t expect perfection.

One Ice Coffee was 88.56 dollar . I parked my car at Wendy’s parking spot to get an ice coffee but I walked toward 8th Ave for 2 mins then come back to get my ice coffee at Wendy’s . Unfortunately I found 86.50 dollar ticket on my car . 86.50 dollar parking and 2.09 for coffee . So one iced coffee at Wendy’s cost me 88.59 dollar .

3 orders of under cooked cold fries, a rude woman at the drive thru window and no resolution from the management. Would not recommend. Update - 3 years after my first review, stopped in here and got a small fries, fries have specks of debris all over them and are very bitter obviously old oil in the fryer. Still hasn't improved quality control.

I had the new breakfast in Wendy's, it wasn't as great as I thought, it was ok, the bisquet was small, mine was with egg and bacon. The potatoes were ok. At least the coffee was good. Is a good breakfast but is not the best. The place was super clean and the service is also good.

Wendy's food is considered good compared to other burger fast food chains. Service was good and responsive. However, the branch is ok. Constantly sticky floors and a bathroom that isn't too dirty, but l9ts to desire. There are good seats, but there is also safety concerns of pan handlers that do come in.

Worst customer service. One of the lady is so rude and mean to me. I know you guys are busy but that doesn’t give you excuse to talk with your costumer inappropriately. she has no idea about customer service and need to get proper training. If possible, I would give minus point to the service. Please teach her how to be kind and respectful.

Great food but the cafe was very understaffed. The staff were working really hard to keep up but it was too busy. Corporate should give them more labour hours instead of stretching their hardworking staff thin.

My new go to fast food! They got spacious place and not too busy, plus it’s quite clean too. Their chicken strips were also nicely seasoned, not dry.. menu is interesting. I’m a happy customerrrr!!

Their iced tea is the best in the fast food industry. Their bugers have very fresh lettuce and tomato, miles better than McDonald's. Their breakfast buns are always dry, which is my only complaint.

As always it's Great..this time went to drive through, ordered and it took a about 2 minutes after the order to pay and get the items. Although I waited for about 5 minutes for ordering and it was at about 11 pm.but that's normal 5 minutes is good.. do good experience

Other than a tricky slope to the drive-thru, good location. Service is consistent and quick. Can't remember a truly bad experience in all the times I've visited. But it never hurts to check the bag for the lil' details at any drive-thru. Wendy's.... you have the best coke of all the fast foods... all others take note!

Since I was a young drunken teen, this Wendy's has always nourished my pallet, no matter the hour. 2am? The burgers are still fresh, and the lights inside are always bright. You'll always feel welcome in this delightfully lit and heartwarming space. Try the 1.89 nachos and chili. Absolutely fantastic and always fresh

Worse customer service I’ve seen in the city, Inside counter and driveway both are rude after waiting 15-20 minutes on queue on the driveway once you asked them about your order they will say could you come back after 5-10 minutes what a joke again you’ll waste your 15 minutes on the queue.

Everytime I order in drive thru, the plastic on the food is always greasy and condiments are all over the place. I mentioned to the staff working and they just shrugged it off. I understand if it's busy but it's not. The napkins are just covered with grease when I use it to hold the burgers. It's disgusting

I really wish they’d remove the self serve soda machines from this location. People who had not ordered drinks from the restaurant bring unwashed outside containers to fill and it seems very unsanitary. This happens pretty much every time I’m there. I don’t order drinks as a result.

The seating area is open with windows all around. It is clean and the food is great. There can be an almost 5 minute wait during lunch and dinner times, but, then you get your freshly cooked burgers or fresh fries and a Frosty to top off your meal. Where else are you going get a tasty baked potato?

Incredibly slow night staff, basically dragging their feet on the floor and ignoring people at counter. Day staff is a bit better but doesn't make up for the drastic performance decrease at night. Have noticed the laziest night shift employee is the manager as well, very discouraging to come here.

had two separate issues with ordering from here through skip, both the restaurants fault-not skip. first was wrong burger order and the second was a HAIR IN the CHILI CHEESE FRIES. will not be coming back here as it is a cleanliness/health hazard now, not just service.

2 Baconator's and burger and one meal plus 2 Chilli @ $25. WOW Burger's were by far too salty. Wendy's should recognize that investing in better buns would be positive for business. Chilli was absolutely great and that alone deserves already three (3) stars.

I live 20 mins from their location. So Sunday eve I pay to have Uber deliver. Wendys screws up order and says oh well come get a replacement. ya thats why i paid delivery fee with tip!. They are rude and couldn't care less. I can do without their garbage!

Cleanest fast food and least caloric. The grilled chicken or the chili are always top notch. If you're stuck for time, as I was today, it's a perfect stop. Avoid all the heavy sauces and you'll be just fine. Great location and superb service.

Thank you for being open at 3am! Did mobile order a few minutes ahead for drive thru pick up, and my burger was already ready for me when I arrived. Thank you!

Love their jbc but the mobile app is an absolute nightmare and it really got on my nerves not to be able to order on it. Staff was helpful on that point and I appreciate that. I took off a star for the bug on the mobile app.
