Five stars for Kahndra the beautician in the salon who has the best personality ever! Not only was she super friendly and welcoming, she was very knowledgeable about what she was doing. Checked with me as she was cutting my hair, explained everything she was doing every step of the way, putting me at ease. Hands down the best haircut and style I've ever had. I cannot recommend her enough. If you are looking for an experience and knowledgable stylist, look no further than the lovely Kahndra. She will do right by you. The regular Ulta could definitely learn a thing or two from the salon staff. The cashier wouldn't help me with redeeming my birthday gift, told me to come back when I had the coupon. I mean I get they have a policy to keep to, but they literally offered no assistance.

I went into this specific Ulta store. I walked in the store and was immediately greeted positive attitude. I thought to myself wow I love the positive environment. My main purpose to going into the store was for an oil cleaner. I asked two associates both said they do not sell oil cleaners. Well I remember buying oil cleansers before at Ulta. So i decided to asked one more time. I asked a gentleman upfront. He actually took me to two sections that had the oil cleaner’s. The moral of the story to the sales associates is ask if your not sure of the products that you sell. How many times have they said they don't sell specific products and they actually do. This is a loss of revenue for your store and potential loss of a customer.

Extremely disappointed! There isnt many reviews but the few here are high in stars so I was looking forward to going and also having an Ulta in this area. It took at least 20min to get help, and not because they were busy they had three employees just talking to one another. When someone finally did assist me she had no clue what she was doing. Any question I would ask, she would get on the mic to ask her coworkers. As someone who trains staff, it was very unprofessional to have her on the floor alone when she clearly did not know how to assist me or really anything about makeup. I hope to have a better experience in the future if I decide to give this location another shot.

I love going to this ulta. It’s always well stocked and very clean. Today I went in to get new makeup to add to my daily makeup routine and Kaitlyn a great help! I needed help color matching and she walked me through how to do so by helping me swatch different colors and explained how everything works. I really appreciated her willingness to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchases. I am always scared to ask for help but her friendliness approach really made me feel comfortable enough to ask for it. To be honest, everyone at this location has always been super sweet and helpful and it is so great! I always look forward to coming back.

Absolutely horrible customer service. As a few have already stated, the discrimination is applauding. If you don't fit /their/ bill of a paying customer, expect to be followed. Beyond that, the attitudes of the employees are unprofessional at best. It's almost as if management just closed their eyes and chose their employees at random. Awful, awful store. Please do not spend your money on a store that discriminates skin color/appearance. There are way better Ulta stores than this one. I'm putting in a complaint the Equality Advisory and Support Service. We go to a beauty store to feel better about ourselves, not leave feeling worse.

Honestly just go to the tempe marketplace location, better selection of products and staff. Staff here always seems to have a attitude with any questions or processing a transaction. Maybe more staff training is needed or new team members. Since they opened on day one, I've noticed they always seem to greet guest differently on how you look, despite me being a diamond member spending up to 2500+k in makeup online, I won't at this store. Everyone should be treated the same regardless if your in pajamas, high heels, or casual wear. ‍♀️

Workers are knowledgeable and I got my first Ulta haircut at this location. I will be coming back for a haor due consult on Friday. I will say the pricing guidelines on the site when you set the appointment are not the most accurate. My opalescent treatment was but the haircut was by the hour, I think. Not sure if they are all like that, though. The hair stylist recommended some products and right next to her station was clearance/sale items and I found a multi pack there so make sure to check that out, on the left back of the store.

I have previously tried the Benefit Brow Bar and I thought it was a good service. The technician said I didn't need an appointment, she also accepted walk-ins. However, a few weekends ago I went in for a walk-in and I was told she was fully booked. I never saw the technician but I had communication with an Ulta employee. So, I decided to make an appointment online while being at the store when I noticed she had an appointment available the same day and time that I was there. Now, I only believe that she didn't want to service me.

Upon entering the store myself and my mother were greeted by Lily. She has a very bright sunny disposition, however she is not a very good sales woman. She took straight to me and the list that I had, and ignored my mother without even greeting her. This was a big mistake, huge… My mother came in to spend a lot of money and had been ignored and so she is taking her business and her money elsewhere. The only thing I appreciated about my trip to this Ulta was the fact that they had some thing that I could not get online

Laurie was a LIFE saver! I came in to the Ulta store desperate after having a hair dresser at a salon suite mess up my hair SO bad! ..She overly bleached my hair drastically!! I ran into the Ulta store crying hoping maybe someone could help me and I am Truly thankful for Laurie @Ulta in Gilbert on Baseline Rd. and her assistant Serafina! They took care of me and I walked out of there feeling so grateful for them and they made me like a million bucks!! Just check out the pics!

So much for curb side pick up, I waited about 45 min for my 2 items, when I called the lady told me I would get a confirmation email, so okay I waited and nothing after almost 45 minutes I went in & the young lady told me I couldn't go in without a mask which is totally understandable, but I explained that I had been waiting for an order comes to find out my order had been ready since who knows when. I did not have a good experience with all this curb side and their customer service

I did an after pay transaction online and picked up in store. The place was well organized and nice. There were ladies working the salon, sampling make up on customers and overall good vibes. I was welcomed by Erica who was very nice and attentive to all the customers. She helped me with my online purchase as well as directed me to a new product. I will return to this store based on good customer service

Got my hair done here on an impulse - Lucy and Kahndra did a treatment, cut, and color. It literally turned out exactly like the picture I'd asked for! It's been almost 3 weeks and I'm still so happy with it! I get compliments on how healthy it looks all the time, and I'm not fighting with dry hair and dead ends anymore. Also Lily was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about the products!

I had a learning experience through speaking with a modest and very sharp store manager. You don't usually have someone of this caliber and not have it rub off on staff. The amount of stations will allow experimentation and alternatives with as much guidance as we may so desire.Personally speaking it is not a small store. It is a store of possibilities.

The worst Ulta store. They treat us like we are thieves by putting all the magnet boxes on makeup and other stuff. I tried returning one item back that was purchased the day before but they insist the computer was right and not the original receipt. I’ll never come back here again. They have security guards watching your every movement.

Was there before Christmas and there was lots of people all around but still got asked if I needed help twice had the second girl help me with a perfume that seemed to be out of stock and was just locked up underneath very helpful then she proceeded to have me pay on the back register and got me out of there nice and quick

Would not recommend getting a haircut here. I came in with long hair and a medium/long length reference picture of what I wanted. The stylist did a rough cut before washing my hair and cut it too short. The final result is just past my shoulders and looks nothing like the reference photo. Very disappointing.

The staff was very friendly and tried to be helpful. I was happy to finally have a ulta nearby but unfortunately it seems like they don't carry as much as other stores. I will still need to travel to buy the things I usually buy. There was no Juvias place products, no elf and hardly any colourpop items.

I wish they would stock the Color Pop shadow colors that they have on display. Seems silly to display a color then not have it in stock. This happens a lot at this store, specifically with the Color Pop eyeshadow display. Other than that, staff is nice and helpful and the store is clean.

Went in shopping for a birthday gift, obviously being a man I don't know too much about makeup. The staff was very helpful, not too pushy. Also endured countless questions without a problem. If I had any complaint it would be the prices, but hey quality isn't cheap

My girlfriend went to Ulta to get her a retwist and Khandra was so welcoming. She cared for my girlfriends hair so well. I’ve dealt with Khandra in the past and she has always been so sweet. If you’re natural hair or have dreads go to her, she’s the best!

I had a good experience and results w a haircut (been 10months since my last cut). I want to return to get a color in the future. They have online scheduling which makes it easy too. I felt safe w the professional and nice staff.

Used the happy returns kiosk there. It's a fast and easy return experience, though sometimes you have to wait for the trained employee to come. There was someone stationed there on my last visit though, so minimal waiting.
