My experience with this travel agent, Zahra, has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initially approached this travel agent in October, paying a substantial sum of money for the agreed tickets. I didn't receive any confirmation for my booking for a staggering 10 days, despite multiple attempts to contact Zahra. The service was unresponsive and unprofessional from the start. The real nightmare began in July, just a few days before my parents' scheduled flight. We discovered the reservation had been inexplicably canceled a week after being booked back in October. The level of stress and uncertainty this caused my family is indescribable. We were left in limbo, unsure if all our plans and bookings were suddenly lost. Zahra never once offered an apology for losing the initial reservation. I made countless calls and sent numerous emails to Zahra, pleading for immediate action. Her response? She offered a refund, which, frankly, was a hollow gesture. In a matter of 10 months, ticket prices had doubled their original cost. I insisted on finding us a solution to ensure my parents and niece could proceed with their holiday plans. It was only a day before departure that an alternative route was finally suggested. Even then, Zahra didn't send the return tickets to explore cheaper options. Despite repeated promises to send the return tickets "very shortly," nothing was done until the very last day before their departure. The new route suggested by Zahra shifted our plans by four days, forcing my parents to request additional leave from work. This level of unprofessionalism is simply shocking. This travel agent's service is well below acceptable standards. I strongly recommend avoiding them at all costs. You can book yourself online with a reputable airline and avoid all this stress and uncertainty.

I called numerous travel agencies on Friday due to my family being in Lebanon in this volatile situation. A few minutes later, Zahra from Travel World returned my call and within 30 minutes, my sister and her two children had a confirmed booking for a flight a few hours later, whilst others hadn’t yet returned my calls. However, soon later is when the problem began…. Emirates Airlines international booking system crashed and the staff at airport couldn’t see the booking and were not able to do anything about it. It was 7:30pm here and I called Zahra in a huge panic. She assured me not to worry…. Zahra did whatever was required, kept my sister and myself informed, then shortly afterwards sent us the tickets, before Emirates Staff in Beirut airport even realised their system was back online. A truly amazing experience in such a stressful situation. The professionalism and commitment to keeping their customers happy and informed is unmatched in all my years of travel. I could not recommend using Anna at Travel World as your agent more highly. Anna took over handling my trip to the USA after a colleague of her’s left. There was still a bit to do and Anna jumped straight in and took control of organising my trip for me, from booking my preferred seat on the plane, to hotels and arranging private cars etc. Anna is a great communicator and kept me in the loop constantly. She went above and beyond, even working on her days off just as I was about to leave to make sure everything went smoothly for me. While I was overseas she was checking in, and quickly got onto a small overpayment mishap with one of my hotels - she was always on call and more than happy to help. I had an amazing and relaxing time overseas because of Anna’s great work! 10/10!!

For years I had been booking my holidays with another centre and was recommended to this agency by a friend. So glad I listened to their advice. From the first minute, I knew that the lady was knowledgeable with airfares and was extremely helpful in arranging my family's holiday. Transfers, hotels, flights and attractions.
