Following is the official complaint I filed to Tim Hortons for this place: Hi! I work for an adult community service and on this particular day we went for a drive with all our 3 residents to get some tims as it was their treat day. As an agency requirement, we need receipt for each individual. we arrived around 6:00pm at the drive thru and we were the second in line (not busy at all). One of our residents who is extra friendly and has difficulty understanding social situations went ahead and started saying hello multiple times. We tried to tell him not to do that as we understand it can be annoying but I think we were too late as the person (female) working on the other end became very rude with us. Not only they spoke rudely but also refused to take our orders. According to them, "the management has told them not to take multiple order and print individual receipt". We wanted to question more but understanding we were holding somebody behind us, we left. We took our business to 2020 trim road and they were more than happy to give us individual receipts as well as be nice to our residents. The question I have for you is: How many times do you get people who constantly say hello at your drive thrus? Probably children as they are excited. Adults with needs can have the same excitement too. Do you refuse service to the kids as well? Is this how inclusive and accepting the staff at 2280 tenth line is? I rarely complaint because I understand how busy Tims can be and how rude some customers can be but this particular scenario not only disappointed our residents but it also made me question whether Tims is training their employees to treat everybody equally. Slow, disorganized location - The few times I’ve visited this location on 10th line in Orleans (be it via the drive-thru or ordering something physically from the cashier) has been like wading through a pool of molasses. It’s evident it’s a mismanaged mess of a store filled with workers who don’t communicate - the Manager seems aimless as do the workers. Waiting for simple orders like a small coffee or a box of Timbits leads to mass pandemonium and confusion amongst the workers. My order today was clearly given away to a drive thru customer - upon questioning the worker as to why my order was given away, I was asked to repeat my order again to which I was given a blank confused stare. The Manager asked the worker to re-do my order after which I was given a cold, stale tough pastry (which clearly said ‘heat’ on the display). While others stood there and also complained of their delayed or missing orders as my debacle unfolded. How this store hasn’t been flagged by Tim Hortons Corporate for poor quality control, poorly trained employees and abysmal customer experience issues is beyond me.

I wish I could give a zero. Wait times are horrible and often order is wrong.. I used this one often because it's in a perfect location but I will go else where. I waited in line for 20 minutes and was finally able to escape because all the cars behind me reversed out. I called to voice my pleasure. An attendant answered and told me to relay a message when manager could be heard in back ground telling his worker to take a message. I because sharing my experience with the manager who told me the wait times are not his fault and spoke over me. When I asked him to let me finish he pretended he couldn't hear me anymore and hung up. 3 years later out of necessity I am giving this tim hortons another chance.. they have limited their menu with Canadian bacon not on the menu unlike the other Tim's in ares.. when asked why they don't carry it... I was given a snappy answer "because we dont". At least the food received was what ordered . Lady at the drive thru is super pleasant. Still a 1 star.

Well I’m done going here. It’s the closest timmies to my house but Every time I have gone here, I’ve had to wait in the drive through for ten minutes plus and they have NEVER once gotten my order right. Today I ask for a French vanilla and a small chocolate milk, nothing complicated. However, they just give me the French vanilla, no chocolate milk, then they try and charge me twice only to get home to it being a coffee with cream, not a French vanilla. And I wish I could say this was the first time this happened, far from it. Such incompetent staff. Every time I get to the window after a long wait in the drive-through line I look in, only to see its dead inside. So it’s not like the busyness is making the staff slow and incapable of doing their very minimal no education needed job. And with the many poor ratings that this particular Tim hortons has, This seems to be the norm of their customer service. I think you’re better hiring convicts then whoever you have right now.

Once I decided to write a review I realized I wasn't alone. After a few mishaps at this location, today, I just had to speak up. Simple order, get to the window, sorry sir we don't have any of those bagels left. Ok no problem, I choose other bagels. Sorry sir we don't have any hash browns left would you like something else? Maybe potato wedges? Sure I guess. 60 seconds passes. Different staff member comes to the window. That'll be 2 dollars please. Umm, no I'm just waiting for some potato wedges. Oh sorry sir we're out of potato wedges. After that, I wasn't offered anything else, no refund, never got my bottle of water (forgot to ask due to the ridiculous situation, of course why would I even have to ask) no receipt, staff staring at me while I stare at them, no comments. Drove off. I was in too much shock to even speak anymore. If this location wasn't so convenient I'd never go back. I hope management reads all these 1 star comments and get it together.

The absolute worst Tim Hortons as of yet!!!! Is there a manager at this location? If so.... does this person know what they're doing? I could be the only person inline and will still wait 7 minutes fora coffee. Ridiculous! If anyone is reading this... go across the parking lot to Country style, service is so quick and friendly it'll make you wonder why you even bothered to go or are continuing to go to this location. I should note, when you FINALLY get your coffee at this Tim Hortons it is served to you with attitude. $14 an hour for labour and this is the best you can come up with? Don't even attempt going here on the weekend, if it's possible the service is even worse. Just a bunch of kids playing. Just know that we can see your drive-thru monitors usually 0-1 cars in line, yet you have six employees hanging around and not one of them taking the initiative to back up your front counter staff. I really wish I could rate this location a negative star.

I could not believe what I witnessed this morning at 7:00 am this morning August 19. Two employees were working very hard on sandwich counter. The girl accidently dropped a toasted bagel and they did the right thing and grabbed a new one. The girl handed the bagel to her manager "Rana" to throw out. She threw the bagel onto a pile of wraps and said "five second rule". I was stunned. The employee did the right thing and refused. The bagel was then thrown out. But now a bagel that has been on the floor has now been on the sandwich counter prep area and wraps. So if you had a wrap from here this morning chances are it could be full of floor bacteria. This manager clearly has no concept of cross contamination. It's one thing to say it jokingly. It's another thing to throw the bagel on the counter. Makes me wonder had I not been there to see this if the manager would have made them use the bagel.

It took 12 minutes to buy a single honey cruller. If the owner is interested in having a business that makes them money, they would be interested to know that 3 people left the restaurant during this time while waiting for service. The place is staffed to the brim and the workers just give eachother panicked looks communicating how overwhelmed they are, but don't offer hardly any verbal communication nor any vigor in action in order to alleviate their self-imposed condition. It would be nice to see the owner instill some personal pride in the staff here and encourage them to band together and be encouraged by a fully functioning and effective workplace, instead of letting the restaurant continue to make the same errors month after month.

I suppose Tim Hortons does well if you order a single coffee and muffin. HOWEVER, their system for delivering large complex orders is absolutely terrible. I ordered for my family of five, and had to pick up components of the order from FOUR (yes 4!!) different places. Hot drinks from one place, collect cold drinks myself, pastries from a different place, then get in line (at a different place) for the hot food. WHO at Tim Hortons HQ believes this is a viable system??? It is painful and broken. On top of this, they somehow lost the hot food portion of our order, so after waiting for 10 minutes, someone FINALLY figured out that our oder was just plain lost, and asked me what I ordered. Food then took another 10 minutes to make, and the restaurant was not busy. Tim Hortons, fix your system!! I am never returning with my family until you do.

Went thru the Drive-Thru and ordered two Chocolate Truffle donuts ($1.99 ea). I parked in their parking lot and was hoping to enjoy these two treats. When I opened the boxes, I found that both donuts had no fillings! Basically their double chocolate donut cut in two! I went thru the Drive Thru again (should have went inside instead of waiting in line) to get two more donuts to replace these donuts (thinking maybe these were just made wrong). The employee brought me two more donuts that were exactly the same...no filling. I promptly asked for a credit and the staff looked at me funny as if there was nothing wrong with the donuts. I went to another Tim's just down the road and got two (filled) donuts the way they're supposed to be made. I've gone to this Tim's a couple of times and not impressed with experience

Every time you go through the drive through your order is messed up or overcharged or incomplete. Today we wanted to order a donut, potatoe wedges and a crispy chicken ceasar. Ordered wedges and they had none at 4:30 PM. Ordered crispy chicken ceasar. She asked if I wanted crispy or roasted chicken. I said crisp . She said they were out. Well why ask? Finally had a grilled cheese chicken ceasar wrap and donut ordered. Never said how much and when we finally got to the window she took the money gave some change and 5 minutes later gave us the order. Not one word from her. We drove away and found no donut so had to go in and get it. All this made us late for an appointment. This is always the case with this place. You don't get what you order or they miss half and 9 times out of 10 you get the wrong change.

I had ordered 3 donuts, and one gingerbread donut. They messed up my order and gave me one gingerbread cookie. I got a gingerbread muffin to replace it which is good but when I got home one of the donuts (the boston creme) had half of it eaten already. I tried to call back the Tim Hortons and when they wouldn’t pick up almost 5 times, they finally answered and when I told the manager about how the donut was half eaten he said he wouldn’t do anything about it and that they “don’t sell and give out half eaten Boston creme donuts”. This is not the service I want as a customer and I definitely do no want a half eaten donut which was not very nice of the workers or the manager, especially how they didn’t even help me out.

This place is a disaster! When they first opened it was a lot more better but as they got busier and I guess short staff even tho there is tons of staff inside just walking back and forth they have gone downhill. Fatima at the drive through window is rude and always has some “laugh” to throw at you, no one can make a large ice cap they give you a small ice cap in a large cup coffee is never up to part triple triple is 3 sugar and 3 cream I swear they put one sugar! I always have to add more sugar myself. They also always get bagels and sandwich order wrong to the point I don’t even bother ordering them anymore. Tim’s need to stick to coffee and donuts ONLY.

I went in and asked for Pumpkin Spice Latte and I made a mistake of not tasting it right away. Once, I drove to home it was too late to realize they served me with Classic Latte instead of Pumpkin Spice. Of course, I did not get what I ordered, but I was too lazy to go back to store and ask for my correct order. It was not busy at all at the time I went, but still I got there wrong order. I went back to any Tim Hortons after a while because of their deteriorating quality, poor customer service and continuously increasing prices. I am not sure if I will go back to any Tims in my near future after yesterday's experience. Hard to gain trust and very easy to lose though, has happened true to Tim Hortons recently.

Pro: Nice location near Avalon, still clean, has potential to have an outdoor patio from the back building con: Have not used the back of the building as Patio, extremely slow drive through. There are two lanes, but they only use one order at a time for orders, which means the other lane is shut until the other side has ordered already. I don't understand why they would have two lanes but can only take one order at a time. Expect a painful wait if there are more than 8 cars on the drive through. I hope or wish the management staff is reading these reviews!! Unless they couldn't care as Tim Horton's is too popular and people will go anyways regardless of what the review is. In that case, it's too bad.

Absolutely DISCUSTING garbage on the tables tried to use the washroom and it had poop splat all over the toilet seat stood there and a worker looked at me and ecnored me then said one minute 10-20 min later he asked you wanted to tell me something...grrrr I spoke to someone else I think a manager he sent a girl who went in came went and got toilet paper she went in and out two or three times she finally said ok you can use the washroom...I asked if she cleaned it as I didn't see her go in with cleaning supplies oh she said you want it cleaned. Uh YA it's dirty bad. PLEASE PLEASE CLEAN YOUR BATHROOMS REGULARLY

Just went to get a Decaf coffee which my girlfriend does every night at this location in Sobeys 10th Line location. I asked if any fresh decaf. Told not fresh. Asked can I wait for a fresh one . Answer no it making any fresh . You would have to wait an hour for fresh. This guy has no idea about customer service. My Girlfriend says not going back after every night for at least 3 yrs. I will not either. This person should be fired for this attitude. I will be stopping tomorrow to see the manager I know but will make no difference. This TH is not worth my driving 6km .

This place always takes FOREVER - that being said I actually went in the store today instead of drivethrough and realized why. There's ten people on drive through not knowing what to do ... Another ten just standing around the front end of the store and one poor woman doing all of the food orders by herself. I was In today at 9:30am. I believe she said her name is shony or shawny I'm probably getting it completely wrong but she is an absolute rockstar - making twenty different things at once while everyone just stands around twiddling there thumbs .... She deserves props and a raise 100%.

Absolutely terrible customer service when asked for our order the girl went on the speaker and I quote went “ yeah...” so my Boyfriend went and gave our order and she just goes “ drive up” no price nothing! We get there no “ hows your day” or “ have a great day “ and they were irritated we didn’t give the right amount of change but we were never told the price from the start! I understand it can be stressful and crazy at times in the drive though, Tim Hortons was my first job when I was younger. In all terrible customer service, did not feel welcome what so ever.

After many problems with this Tim Horton I decide to do my bad review. First I got a few time donuts which were not fresh. I ordered in the passed pumpkin spicy latte and got a tea who was not related to this drink. And just get there today and ordered my 2 coffees (RRROLL UP to Win) one decaf and ITS WAS NOT DECAF REALLY......., the guy saw me with my phone to use the app but I was distracted and pay first so I WAS NOT ABLE TO HAVE MY CHANCE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE CONTEST. I said IT’S TO LATE I CAN’T DO NOTHING. SERIOUSLY……. 000000000000 for customer service.

Worst location ever. I avoid going there although it's 2 minutes from my house. The staff members all seem young (although that shouldn't be an excuse), very unprofessional and don't seem to care at all about service. Multiple times I've been there and they've forgotten an item or they mess up the order. Or they've charged me for the wrong thing and look at you like you're crazy when you ask for a price clarification. Worst of all, I have a feeling most of them are high. Going there always puts me in a bad mood so I go elsewhere. Period.

Same as always, loved the experience. I have a little brother and cousin who are trouble makers, and can be quite a handful when it comes to making noise. The employees were very sweet and patient with them, and took my struggle into consideration The drink was good as usual, just a medium iced capp on my way out. Thankfully the employees are quick and usually get it done within 5 mins tops (if busy) and if its not too busy Id get it within 2 mins.

Just got awful service from an employee who was either stressed out or hated his job. Wouldn't scan my points not because it wasn't working but because he didn't want to. Literally said "then i have to restart the transaction" (among other things). This is the first time in a while a business has made me feel like a huge inconvenience for them. Update:. Was asked to inform them what happened using a web link which i did. They never followed up. Disappointing company.

This location has to be the worst in the city. There's so many people working at one time yet the drive through is always backed up and moves so slow. Even when they close the inside, which is a lot, the drive through is still slow. Their employees stand outside right beside the drive through to smoke. If I didn't live right next door I would never go back there. Maybe they should stop putting one on every corner and focus on running the ones they have properly.

So yea, all tim hortons are not created equally, ooof. Went in and ordered simply sausage, got beyond the sausage. Ordered 3 sandwiches, got two. Refunded entire order. Decided to try my luck in the drive through, where the screen was working, and I could verify my order. Order was entered correctly but the executive chef made an error. 4 sandwiches ended up in the trash for one customer, such a waste. Will drive up 10th line next time to the other tims.

I go to the same tim hortons every morning, sometime evening. They are understaffed and never seem to fail. From the drive thru to the woman making tons of food per minute, that is a great staff. Fast and very friendly. I rather wait an extra few minutes in a drive thru than to be rushed out of there with a coffee not made to my perfection. This is a great location as well, lots of traffic, and they do a great job keeping up with it.

Every time I go to this Tims there is a long wait. It's not uncommon to wait over 15 minutes in drive through, or in store. While the staff have always been friendly and pleasant, and they have gotten my order right most times I have gone, the wait times are ridiculous. There are mornings when I have had to walk out without my order because it has taken so long. Management definitely needs to get more staffing in at this location.

This is the worst experience I have ever had at any Tim Horton's. I have been to this store maybe 3 times. Every time they have messed up orders. Had me pay again when I had already prepaid. Finally accepted I had paid with VISA. Only gave me the coffee. Missing the Tea and the 2 bagels. They gave me the tea and still didn't give the bagels. Had to ask for the bagels. Will not use this location again. Don't even rate a one star.

Worst Timmy's in Orleans. Staff does not listen to the customers orders and they messed up a simple Double Double. Management is the issue with high expectations from there employees. Stop worrying how quick to serve the orders and work on the quality of product. Head Office needs to coach this location on how to run smoothly like the one near Home Depot. No issue there at all. Horrible customer service and HQ needs involvement.

This location is the worst. They always have long lines in the drive thru. If you want to wait in a drive thru then this is the place for you. We waited 20min to order for the staff to tell us that there are no more timbits or only a few donuts. The donuts we wanted were gone the staff did not help, so we ended up leaving after 30 mins. What a waste of time. Never going at Tim Hortons again.

I ordered few drinks and 20 tim bits to go with the drinks. However, I was not given the timbits and I drove away. I came back few minutes later and expalined to manager at 4:35 pm that forgot to pick up the tb and his answer was are you telling the truth..I paid $ 13.40 for 2 small FV, 1ice capp, sml coanager nffee and 20 tbits. Manager needs customer service training big time. shity service..

Well, normally I’d enjoy coming to this Tim hortons however and I have no issue with the service but I do have a problem with the owners of this establishment not fixing the POS system for their rewards program. Don’t have a reward system if you’re not going to fix it or AT LEAST NOTIFY YOUR CUSTOMERS IT’S NOT WORKING BEFORE THEY ORDER ONLY TO BE SURPRISED AT THE WINDOW. I will not be returning

I visited this place on August 8 and ordered a small coffee and a peanut butter cheesecake donut. There was no filling in the donut whatsoever and there was no peanut butter, unlike other tim hortons branches. I was served a chocolate glazed donut with the yellow and orange decoration on top and nothing inside and paid the price of a "dream donut". Deceitful!

Sometimes, the taste of Tim's coffee is inconsistent. However, this location usually doesn't disappoint. Used for drive-through, and it's usually pretty quick to order, pay, and pick up via drive-thru. I go mostly in mornings and the staff is always pleasant to deal with.

Every morning I get 2 cheese biscuits, 2 choc. Crois. I guess u don't have enough bag because every morning I eat choc. Cheese tea biscuit! What ever I got they dump in a bag doesn't matter sweet and savory in same bag. One sweet lady said this morning. I need to tell them to put separate bag next time. Come on you have to be presentable. I don't need to tell every morning.

Went to the location on Innes & Tenth Line in Orleans. It was mostly clean but the service was extremely slow. Extremely. The new comfy seating has fabric on it and it's dirty. Felt gross to sit in them My hot chocolate was good though.

July 19th 2023 5.50 pm I order steep tea. It is cold like cold coffee. I told to him serve from fresh brewed pot. But he refused. And he refused my money back. He it is from fresh pot. Horrible service. I stopped coming to this location. I know reviews don't change anything. I give them zero start if I have chance.

Absolute worst location I've been to. Between the flies in the donuts to their out right refusal to make me a chicken salad at 3pm. Lettuce I did get on my chicken wrap was rotted. Second time I've been here, the first time they were out of chili at 1pm..lol. Clearly a lack of management at this location. Never will we return and I highly recommend no one's goes here.

Well I thought the donut with no jelly was an error. Well 2 weeks later you might as well call it a powdered donut. Wheres the jelly? It's not in the donut. Stupid scrimping like this should be monitored by Tim Hortons corporate and franchisees should have to worry about quality. Because there is no quality here. One star is one star to many for this known company.

More often then not they have gotten some aspect of my order wrong. One time was asked to pull into the parking lot because it would be a few minutes for my food (a wrap) and ended up going inside 10 minutes later to see it sitting on drive through window area being completely ignored. I would rather spend the extra $1 in gas to go to the next Timmies over.

Went to the washroom this morning. Discussing! The washroom had not been cleaned the night before. Papers scattered all over the floor. A bag of candies had been also opened and thrown all over. Toilet and sink were not clean. Washrooms obviously need to be checked more often

I ask for step tea with 2 cream and 3 sweetners... I got water and milk.. if they ran out of step tea why do you fill with water. This is usual behavior at this location. I always keep going back to replace the order. Have to in th queue again and get the replacement. Ofcourse they say sorry everytime.

Ordered the beyong meat sausage lettuce and tomato. Drove out of town and when I opened it, it was beyond sasuage, lettuce and egg? Also the hashbrown was completely hard. On top of that, it gave me food poisioning. Don't suggest this place, they can't tell the difference between a tomato and an egg, and will probably give you food poisioning as well.

Never had good service, I always take the drive thru and I have to wait to get served at the intercom and the employees never ever says hi or go ahead they must really hate their jobs. I have to reach for the damn machine at the window because the guy is too lazy to put he’s arm outside never seen anyone smiling . Slow service and BAD service.

Very approachable staff, attentive and the food is always delicious. I always admire how adaptive the staff are as I've seen them handle busy days. Some may complain about parking being limited but there's a mall right next door with plenty of space.

I go to this location every weekday for a coffee. If there were a more convenient place to stop, I’d go elsewhere. The customer service is HORRIBLE and they get my order wrong most times I buy food. I just got home with a bacon English muffin and there’s no bacon. These people make me feel like minimum wage should be lowered.

all around worst Tim's in Ottawa.. trust I visit them all .. even with them people behind counter still ten minutes to get a coffee once u already paid .. order multiple coffees with out a mark on any cup to tell hats inside.. needs full new staff . think only 2-3 decent people in the hole store .. train ur employees

Brutal wait in drive through for a coffee, could have brewed a pot twice over by the time I got to the window and the was only 3 cars in front of me. 15 mins to get a large coffee. And to finish the experience, driving away and open my coffee to see it's only half full! Brutal! Will be staying away from this one!

This location really needs a lesson in customer service. Even with a line-up, they have people standing around instead of taking the initiative to get the other cash register going. Then, after my order was taken, they realized they didn’t have what I wanted and failed to offer a proper replacement.

Came here at 9:30pm, payed for a mocha and then i get told “since we close early, we have turned off our hot chocolate machine. It was really upsetting. Then i sit down, and 2min later i get told “we decided to close early today, so you have to leave”. Really unprofessional guys, and kind of rude.

It was not a good experience. Line up is huge due to their slow service plus they messed up my simple coffee order which I only found out after I left the windo... when I returned later the same day she refused to exchange the coffee and told me I should have come back earlier. Bad service.

Very slow drive thru experience. It happened to me on two consecutive visits and I was stuck in the traffic for 15 min and couldn't leave. I stop visiting this branch and switched to another closeby branch. Train your employees how to be more efficient and how to deal with customers.

Slowest Tim Hortons ever. There wasn't even a lot of people in there. At least 3 people came in while I was waiting saying their coffee was wrong. Then I get my coffees and they were wrong too. Had to go back in and now my coffee tastes like burnt pumpkin spice or something.

The worst Tim Hortons location I've ever been too, they ALWAYS screw up my coffee every morning, coffee never tastes the way it should, nothing I love more then driving for 30 minutes to work with a cup of hot water and cream, coffee is never stirred either!
