Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. The kids play area made a world of difference in our visit because they weren't in our hair the whole time. It got kind of crazy as more and more kids showed up and it got crowded on the play set, but nothing the kids couldn't sort out. Only real hesitation is that the kids all ranged in age from toddler to pre-teen and it led to some misunderstandings. The food was pretty good, I especially liked the raffle for the "American BBQ". I'm American so I just know it as a smoker. Fully stocked bar and wonderful staff. Highly recommend for anyone living or visiting the Galston area. Update 1: had a magnificent ANZAC Day service here. The club honored veterans and participants with a free drink and even provided a tea service afterwards. Thanks Galston club for hosting the RSL and providing a venue on short notice.

We went to the Galston Club for our last Sydney dinner and OMG! It was a Tuesday night so we took advantage of their Asian night and the food was superb! The duck was succulent and cooked to perfection, as was the mixed entree that we shared. We absolutely LOVE Asian food and despite being fussy where food quality is concerned, we were in gastronomic heaven! An added bonus was the portion sizes, the prices of the menu items and the fast and friendly service. I wish we'd discovered the Galston Club at the start of our Sydney stay instead of our last night there. We'll definitely be back next time we're in Sydney!

So ate at Galston club again tonight, how can you destroy steak, sauce & veg? 50% of my steak was fat. The only reason we ate there was because my husband loves their asian food. Unfortunately the rest is sub standard. Would rather eat at Glenorie or Dural CC as the food is 200% better. Disappointing meal at Galston Club. Did not listen to my order subsequently came out wrong insisted that's what I ordered. Drowned my salad in balsamic dressing making it almost inedible. Won't be back.

Went to the club last night, first time in a few years, heard good things as apparently it has new owners of only a month or so. My husband had the pork ribs which he said were delicious and very big portion unfortunately me and a friend had the seafood basket which was dreadful two very small over cooked pieces of fish and dried out calamari and prawns that tasted like rubber. Her partner had the fish and chips and said it was very average too. Not sure I'll go back.

First time ive bean the staff were friendly but the young lass that made my cappuccino realky needs to go do a course the coffee was just warm abd it wasnt a cappuccino and serviette under cup says to me that they havent bean taught properly i had the seafood grill it was really nice but a little bit salty overall a pleasant experience and will give it another go

Been years since I’ve been down to the club. Dropped in because I couldn’t be bothered cooking tonight. $15 for a very nice steak, salad and chips with sauce on the side including a free glass of wine. Why in the world would you cook? I’m coming back every Saturday night and renewed my membership to make that easier! Very nice meal and excellent value.

Great food at Bistro New owners are very polite and prices are affordable suitable for all the family. Our table of both adults and children ordered lasagna, chicken snitzel, grilled barramundi and rump steak meals. They were all awesome. Comes with a drink and ice cream cone too. Definitely making plans to go back soon with other local friends.

Went with a group of 23..we were quite squashed and the menu didn't look impressive. Reluctantly ordered a chix, avocado salad .was pleasantly surprised, no horrible mesclan, well cooked chicken, iceberg lettuce, cuc, tomatoes, capsicum and perfect avocado, thoroughly enjoyed. Shame no free drink as with the specials..pay more, get less!

Food ok . Booked table away from that kids swinging door at the back of tbe restruant but they gave our table away so we coped the winter winds as kids and staff kept on leaving it open . If it hapoens again we will be heading sonewhere else because its like walking out of a tent in the middle of winter . The staff couldnt care less

Edit June 2022 - new restaurant management have really made the place deteriorate…always rude service from the Asian lady at the restaurant, poor quality food, very average menu. This place has so much potential just not with these guys… Great local pub. Friendly service and good food. Could do with a refurb.

What an unexpected awesome time we had. Popped in for a quick view and ended up staying for a few hours. Staff and members of the club were very friendly which made it so nice. Food was good quality and was priced extremely well. The decor is a bit outdated, but so what. We will definitely be back.

Went to your club for the Bistro where you can get a good meal at a reasonable price and I traveled from londonderry used to go to Dural country club and to fox hills golf club but both these places leased their bistros for the money not for the patrons

Four of us went for lunch. It was our first time to the club and we were really happy with our visit. The food was really tasty, with big portion sizes and well priced. The club itself is nicely decored and the staff friendly. Highly recommend!

The food was ok as the pasta seemed a bit too buttery or oily for us, the cheesy garlic bread was good and the place was decent. Customer service was not the best on both sides of bistro and drinks. The skinny guy with long hair at the bar

Ambience is good with proper amenities and access. Standard service ethics. Some of the ordered food was excellent and some not good. Surprised to see such a poor Asian satay dish even when there was an Asian chef in the kitchen.

Food very hit and miss. Easy if you just want an average meal, but over priced. Chef seems to change regularly, so you never quite know. Bar staff friendly, lady on the bistro, not so much. Decent price for beer and wine

Had my meal picked out ready to order,girl behind the counter looked at me and continued writing something....5mins later still writing so put the menu back down walked away and went and grabbed some maccas... …

We had a NSW Rural Fire Brigade social outing and decided to have it in a nice surroundings. Food was very well-priced and very sumptuous. Totally recommend the Galston Club whether you're a local or from out of town.

I don't hate the Galston club!!!! It's my local & serves a reasonable meal most evenings at an affordable price; given the bistro is leased out to a third party as a separate business. Beers & other drinks are cold!!

Absolutly fantastic. Portions are very generous, food and drinks were made very quickly and fresh and the prices were even better. We will be back and this is becoming our regular for family dinners.

Basic local club. Clean and tidy. Friendly team. Nothing negative, just a very basic offering. The food is very basic club food and could be so much more. Outside kids playground.

Loved the food and the drinks were good value. There is a nice play area for kids which could maybe use a bit more equipment but still quite good. Definitely worth a visit

Food is good, but a little pricey and they keep changing the menu and prices so you go there for a special and find it's no longer on offer, kids play area is a bit small

Visiting family in Galston from Melbourne. Went on the Saturday night back to 80’s theme with band. Great value for money on the meals and drinks. Loved the place

Christmas lunch was not what we expected. No real Christmas roast or no ham. Mostly Asian food, not Australia Christmas lunch! Entertainment was all we enjoyed

Invited to a seniors group meeting to help with some computer stuff. After meeting had a meal. Good time good friends and a nice meal. Will be going again.

The food was great and reasonably priced a free coopers beer my steak and chips was an added bonus. I became a member also which made it even cheaper
