The special steak sandwich for father day was already sold out at 630pm dinner booking. Had looked forward to this since making the booking as never cook steak at home and this was the main reason we chose the restaurant for Father’s Day dinner. I opted for the more expensive chicken dish, came with the smallest amount of overcooked spinach possible, 2 measly prawns and minimal grilled chicken. More like an entree at $27. Embarrassed as my Mum had ordered the same. Came with hard avocado, flavourless and inedible. The kids had well and truly eaten their meals by the time the adults received their food. The ‘Dads’ were happy with their lamb shanks..thank goodness! Anyway…I’m on the DSP for terminal cancer and next time I take my family out for a very special occasion I’ll eat before I come to save the money. Eating out is an extreme luxury..but worth it for Fathers Day. Deserts were also ordered by my parents and husband. we had to remind the chef as had not arrived after 30mins. Finally food arrived whilst staff vacuumed around us. The smallest amount of sorbet and gelato on my husbands order. Another disappointing night at the RSL. We used to come regularly and it was so much better and always amazing. We come back for these special occasions with the hope it will improve and it doesn’t. This is the first time I’ve commented. $27 is a heap of money when on a terminal illness payment..but I’m happy to shout my family as my Dad and hubby mean the world to me..just would appreciate decent food. I will eat before I come next time (strongly doubt there will be a next time).. and at least save the cost of a meal I can cook for myself at way less cost and way better quality. Again…very disappointed.

Been a member here for years and go or did go once a week. Used to be a great place to get food. Now it’s really expensive. Extra for paying on card. Extra for sauce with you $46 steak!!!! Young staff friendly but not very helpful. Ordered roast chicken and salad for my daughter and got some dodgy chicken strips. Asked if this was right and told by staff it is. I Wasn’t happy as we’ve ordered it plenty times before and it used to be a roast spatchcock wing/leg with crispy skin. So I spoke to the food manager and he went off it snatching the plate out of my hand saying they’ll do it the way I want The waitress brings a quarter dry chicken. I ask the waitress whats the managers name, which is Juan, and let her know I’ve not been spoken to as rudely as he did before. I asked her what was going on and she advised they have had to change the menu as cost of chicken has gone up. Why couldn’t he have explained that? So I let the waitress know I’ll be passing on my experience here with the CEO Jason. So I have a record of who it was I took a picture of the service area. This clown decides he wants to inflame the situation and starts waving and smiling at me. He then decides that he should come over to our table where my wife, and 6 and 9 year old children have just been served and are trying to eat our dinner to confront the situation. Does he do it in a mild way? No he leans over our table and confronted us in an aggressive and arrogant way. I have no idea what he was trying to do and 4 times I ask him to move away. Eventually he walks away but at the same time turns around and threatens us about complaining to the CEO? We dine out lots on the Beaches. Don’t go here.

Disappointing... My husband and I ordered a rare steak each. The steaks came out displayed and pinned "rare" we cut them open to find they were tuff and well done beyond! We brought the meals back and the female manager at the time was fair and had new meals ordered. Unfortunately the 2 new steakes were also terrible! Tuff, well done and dry. We took 1 of the steaks back to show how disappointing they were and the new male manager was outright rude! He refunded 1 of the steaks and said because we hadn't returned both we would only receive a refund for 1. My husband accepted with no meal replacement. My husband had to return to the kitchen 5 mins later as his membership card was left at the kitchen. On his arrival to the kitchen the chef saw him and came over to give him another steak ( unexpectedly) very kind of him but unfortunately yet again the steak was terrible! with a side of uncooked potatos! Unfortunately as members of this RSL I don't think we will be returning to dine.

I don’t want to be mean or negative but instead give feedback for management to hopefully see and be able to adjust their approach. The little bistro kitchen in the front and then the whole rest of the dining area being empty but available for sitting felt odd. There was no atmosphere because of this disconnection. Monkey Bun looks cool! But it’s only open a few nights a week. Bummer. Our food was ready in three minutes. Yes, three minutes. Perhaps there is such a thing as food being ready too soon? It seemed like frozen things reheated and a little undercooked in areas. Overall, something needs to change. We used to love going to the bistro out the back and using the playground. Now it feels like a discombobulated arrangement of vendors. Really disappointed and for the first time in a long time, I felt less happy walking out of having dinner then when I walked in.

Swanky establishment that failed on the basics. My wife and I looked forward to our meals arriving. My wife was waiting for her pork cutlets..... My arancini with wild mushrooms and truffle, turned out to be a plate of flavourless palate clawing mush balls. My wife was waiting for her pork cutlets.... The arancini were poorly seasoned, grey and mushy texture. Very poor. My wife was waiting for her pork cutlets.... After most of the dining room had emptied and nearly an hour had past, I asked at the counter how long her order would be. This RSL uses one of those 'order and pay on your phone from your table' systems. No order was found in the kitchen, but was showing on my phone. "Oh, that happened to another gentleman too!" was the servers reply. That didn't get my wife's cutlets! Refund, left, never to return, but I will tell everyone how bad this place is.

Turned up to watch the Matilda's game on Sunday as advertised, most of Warriewood and Mona Vale had the same idea as you would. They were not prepared at all, there was very little seating available (not just because of the number of people but large empty areas that were closed), only 1 bar was open, only 1 kitchen was open and hardly any staff working in the entire place. After waiting 10mins in the bar que without moving we left (3 families) to watch it at our place. Super disappointing that they encouraged people to come to an event but put in no effort to make it enjoyable. I had forgotten but this is unfortunately how this place has been everytime I have been there pretty much since COVID. I will not be renewing my membership, if I could give zero or negative stars I would.

My family dined here on Mother's Day. Multiple family members ordered steak that was rewarded with 'The Worst Steak We Have Ever Eaten!' Award. It's a $5 woolies steak re-sold at $30. Dreadful. Like, shocking. So bad, my cat would not eat it. Others had burgers that were burned, schnitzel that tasted like nothing. Everything was bland and just disappointingly bad. We had high hopes for our local RSL. Dee Why RSL is by far superior in their catering. The only saving grace of the entire meals was kids chicken nuggets made for a 3 year old. At least the deep fryer was working for that order. Honestly, if you have to go here for a meal, sneak in a home made sandwich so when your meal arrives and is inedible, you won't starve to death. How can this happen Pittwater RSL!?

So went for a night out at the rsl, the food here is atrocious and overpriced. My mate was served fish that was raw and after brining it back they ‘cooked’ it more, and they took the caviar off of it. A complete waste of money. AND to top it off he had food poisoning in the morning. Anyway despite the fish disaster, I ordered a steak. For 30$ I was served a quarter of a lettuce, literally, with two cherry tomatoes on top of it and a few pieces of bacon that were charred to the point of chewing rubber. The steak looked like Gandauffs flip flop and was just as versatile. My partners burger was okay but the side of fries where countable with one hand. Spent about 100$ for inedible food. Yikes.

I went to the monkey Bun inside the RSL. I order the HD Fat Boy Burger and this is truly the ultimate Hog burger. Bun is solf and fresh, Beautiful slow roasted pork belly that was perfectly cooked and the crunchy to adding so much texture, pickled onion to cut through the fat, butter milk slaw and chipotle mayo to just make the perfect bite seriously one of the best burger I have ever eaten It came with a sidewinder fries (wedges) which were crunchy on the out side but perfectly fluffy on the inside and seasoned with some type of herb salt. Overall for 22 dollars I definitely think this was worth it and definitely think you should try this burger.

A dissapointing visit... they hosted the grand final in 3 locations.... the auditorium, the sports bar and the lounge bar. Only had the gaming room bar open for service to service the 3 locations! Constant line-up 10 deep and 10 minute wait to get a drink. My table of 5 would have ordered another 3 rounds if the line-up was not there... surely for another bar to have opened at 2 staff members $65 per hour for 3 hours the sales would well exceed the cost!! And the night have been a bit of wow rather that disappointment. This club lacks management presence, customer service and customer retention for future events.

Was an okay club. Has a booking at Glasshouse Grill. Fabulous new refurb. Atmosphere was great. I ordered the Chilli Prawn Pasta, it was insanely spicy. I am no stranger to chilli, neither is my partner, but we were both struggling to get through it. Staff laughed at us when we shared our feedback that perhaps there was too much chilli? None of the staff seemed overly pleased to be there, no one apologised. Then a young waitress was quite short with us when she gave us the wrong dessert, then gave us a back handed apology. Left a really sour taste in our mouths for what would have otherwise been a great RSL.

  • Terri MacLean

This place used to be our go to place for food .. Glasshouse used to excel in quality of roasts , share plates and desserts ., no idea what has happened quality of food has plummeted , I was served by staff that were more interested in chatting to each other than listening .. and even the food for kids was dried up awful chicken nuggets ..with single use plastic ketchup pots .. really ? will not go back …sorry as we are local and now prefer to travel to other RSL’s that still provide high standard of food .

  • Cherie Woodley

Went to watch fifa World Cup-arrived at 430 for 5 pm kick off, only one bar open hour wait to get drinks. Poor staff overwhelmed. Place very busy, kids everywhere. Great day for outdoor deck to be opened and it was closed for dome dinning- which I’m sure started much later than 5 pm what away to turn customers away. Many people leaving and going to other places. As we did. Very disappointed. Dee Why RSL, the pubs and even the surf clubs did a great job at help the community support the Matilda’s

  • Kate King

Wish I could give a 0 star. The food is absolutely disgraceful. Kids Fish and chips were fishy and just a ball of batter. Don’t get me started on the food from Monkey Bun - it is absolutely disgusting. Pizza tasted like a pre-made frozen pizza & burgers were just gross. The Macaroni cheese balls tasted like deep fried toilet paper. And the kids playground is filthy and chaotic. $100 later and will never be returning… DO NOT GO unless you feel like an overpriced gross place to eat

  • Douglas Grace

A popular RSL club, always busy, with three restaurants to choose from all very well run making very tasty food. The pizza restaurant is very popular but the sit-down main restaurant is generally very busy and booking will be needed or a shirt wait out in the lounge. The food is very well prepared, not small servings, and we only had about ten minutes waiting for meals to arrive, so it's pretty good. There is plenty of parking and there are buses that pass the club.

  • Paige Morris

My experience at the Pittwater RSL Club was odd. We walked in and couldn’t even go for one lunch without signing in $15 as a member? All we were looking for was a comfy, nice place that sold chicken. We were waiting around for a bit but once we got in, we were seated my a lovely waitress in the GlassHouse and ate our chicken schnitzel. It was crumbed in some herbs and nice fries on the side. Recommend it for families!

  • MVP WONDERYACHTING

What a pity this lovely classic rsl interior with its fire places and multiple seated nooks, tables in sunshine and great screened sports area, serve microwave swill food. Nothing healthy or even vegan in sight! Lovely place to visit with a group of friends but eat before you enter! Coronas were 9-$10 a bottle! Servers are inexperienced so forget about asking for anything out of the box from behind the bar.

  • Pab

The Glasshouse is by far the best restaurant in the RSL but more on the expensive side. The steak was a really good steak which ticked all the boxes. It came with a tasty mushroom sauce. But they must have mixed up my order because instead of well done it was more like rare.Really beautiful view of the tree line and hills outside. The staff here are very kind and helpful. In general I loved the experience.

  • Tomtendo

Really didn’t like the way that Security treated me and my friend last time we were there. Especially after one of the Bar Staff said that we were all good but the Security still kicked us out. I definitely won’t be going back anytime soon. It used to be a great RSL but it’s changed for the worst. Good thing the Park House let me in without any issues from both Security and the Staff.

  • Natalie Popovic

I recently attended a family lunch at the ‘Wok O’clock’ Restaurant within this RSL. I ordered the chicken pad thai, thinking you can’t go wrong with this dish. Boy was a I wrong. It was the foulest meal I’ve ever had. The chicken tasted like it was a few decades old and the noodles were so sticky I could have taken them home and used them as glue to stick down my new hardwood floors.

  • Zara Windle

I recently visited Pittwater RSL and I'm very pleased with the entire experience. The venue itself is beautiful and well-maintained. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating. It is clear that this venue is community based and committed to making everyone feel welcome. They put on events for all age groups including family fun days which my children love. Highly recommended.

  • Ruth Purves

Worst food I’ve ever had. The lamb was dry and chewy even though they charge restaurant prices. My husband’s kebabs were also dry and chewy but he is too polite to complain. I sent my dish back and they agreed to replace with another dish, the linguine. It took ages to come, the pasta was half cooked and the bacon dry and tasteless. We are locals and sadly we won’t be going back

  • Adam Hampson

Normally a great club but things are slipping. A one hour wait for a 400g rump that came out like a minute steak. Other orders at the table were wrong and late as well. The poor attitude from the head waiter didn't help (his manager however was great but it still didn't fix the problem). With so many other places to go in the area I think I'll take my money somewhere else.

  • hemisphereimports nz

Terrible. Gone downhill very quickly. Poor service, poor staff, management don't care. Shame, I used to work here in the 90's as a manager and we put customers 1st. It's lost its character, members are the club and they've lost sight of that. Been 5 times in the last 6 months and most eateries were closed except Chinese. Bar staff have no idea what they are doing

  • Jan Reeves

Had lunch there yesterday. I expected the food to be better. Smoked salmon and egg salad not nice. Not traditional smoked salmon but pieces of cooked salon smoked ‍♀️ Looked like a leftover from the weekend. Tomatoes ancient; soft and watery, eggs boiled to death (who knows when) taken straight from fridge. How can you get a simply salad so wrong.

  • Logan Carmichael

Ridiculous, I have had buffalo sauce multiple times and had 0 problems with spice, however, this ANZAC day meal was ruined due to a ridiculous about of chilli on the wings, I was unable to eat more than a couple of bites without stopping for water, super late with the meal (10 mins after the buzzer rung) for an enjoyable meal.

  • Jacqueline Loring

I ordered fish and chips with salad and caulslaw. I got a large plate of chips with 3 finger size pieces of battered something??? One was inedible, the salad was missing and the caulslaw was sloppy...I will recommend people DON'T go there unless you like a battered mystery and confused staff !wish I could leave no stars !

  • david norton

We ordered bread ($18), by 7.15pm the restaurant had run out. Our meals were ordered at 7.30pm and they didn't arrive until after 8.35pm. Patrons that ordered after us had their meals arrive before us. My $44 steak was over cooked and the portion size was entree. Quality and service was very average, I wouldn't recommend.

  • Gayl Crowe

This is a nice club with many spots to dine, drink and chat. Excellent parking for disabled under the building, with ramp and then lift. Most staff noticeably friendly and helpful. My meal of grilled salmon was lovely. The tea and coffee orders were all muddled and then also not hot enough.

  • Barb Meynell (Barb's Psychic Readings)

Great friendly RSL. Excellent food and service Fair price for food, good sized meals. Possibly the only "fault" is the silly card system, when getting money out of the pokies, as the machines don't load the cards without a hassle..move with the times and get the printed ticket system.

  • Marina Oreti

Great venue. Excellent disabled parking. Good menu and lots of choices for tables and balconies. Thought the children's playground a great idea but need a few more items please to help tired and desperate parents entertain their children while trying to have a rare lunch out!

  • Daniele Mantovani Mello

Good environment, nice playground for kids but food wasn't good and expensive for the lack of quality. I've always ordered my food and staff always flexible on changing veggies for mashed potato, for example. Nothing new from the menu as well. Always the same food.

  • lara davenport

MELBOURNE CUP DAY. WOW WHAT AN AWESOME DAY!!!! We had a group of 9 people and we had the best day ever. Food was amazing, service was wonderful, and it was great to watch the race in such a fun atmosphere. They have completed some very nice spaces to relax in.

  • Achille Famularo

Went there to watch INXS revival band, the band was excellent, food and drinks are overpriced at the bistro , nothing to do there after concert. The hospitality of bar staff towards the end of the concert was very poor. Would I go there again ? Don't think so.

  • Colin Holowaty

Returned after they had renovated the place. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the place is now. The menu in the bistro has improved outa sight , something for everybody. Plenty of places to sit and have a drink after dinner. Good atmosphere

  • Kylie Harrison

It as as so much fun Salsa Dancing last night. We drank Sangria which was really refreshing. The lesson was good we danced behind a instructor at first. Then all these Salsa dancers got p n the floor and asked us to dance with them. It was great fun.

  • Piper Harley

Food has gone downhill massively. Glasshouse is the worse club food I've had on the beaches. For the prices they are charging, I would avoid going there. Poor beer selection at the bars doesn't help. The only highlight is the kids play area.

  • Helen Langford

Perfect venue if you want to have a family lunch with elderly (90+yrs) family. The comfort offered outweighs the food but it is reasonably priced and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Nice view the west and afternoon sunshine.

  • Marika Janis

Had booked a birthday dinner. One of our party had just turned 18 & didn't yet have a photo ID. He was not allowed into the club so we had to go elsewhere. They are the club rules & we were told that was no way around them.

  • Mauro Fernandes

The kitchen has been terrible. If it's not the subpar food it's the waiting time. At the time of the order, they said it would be 25 min. It took 1h and 30 minutes, no refund just an I'm sorry. Seriously, avoid this place

  • Kylie Jones

Loved it! Awesome 1st Sunday of the month face painting, plaster painting and balloon creations for the kids. Enjoyed some yummy pizzas. Also a great little playground with a big double slide. Great for kids and parents.

  • Barbara Burgess

Normally eat lunch there with a group monthly but the food, when there is some, in the coffee area, is of a very poor standard. Needs a huge improvement, consequently we will be choosing to eat elsewhere.

  • Sue Newson Heaps

We had the most st delicious lunch I was so impressed. I had Chicken Cordon Bleu Ken had Beef Tortellini and continental loaf toasted really fabulous Once again you need great chefs Thanks Sue and Ken

  • Jamie Pickering

Plenty of good options for dining.. There also bands that play regularly and drinks are at a reasonable price.. Huge gaming area with poker on Thursday evenings also a kids gaming place downstairs

  • Carolyn Cross

Mixed reviews. Hubbies steak was good, daughters fish tacos came out as entree, after we all ordered mains together, and valentines seafood platter for 2 at $99 was an absolute rip off

  • Peter Lahey

Was a quiet day when we went food was good and reasonably priced friendly staff and play area for the kids , my youngest loved the hotrod and Harley's on display in upstairs bar

  • Shweta Attrey

Awesome food. Great Ambience. Enjoyed Potato Wedges, Cauliflower Salad, Pitcher of Lemonade with Vegetable Pizza. Grateful to the staff for customising pizza toppings for kids.

  • John Garrett

So many comfortable spaces to choose from to enjoy a relaxing drink or meal. Quality meals and lots of different options to choose from. Gluten free and vegetarian meals also.

  • trevor colton

Since the easing of the covid19 restrictions, have 9 returning to the club, this time for lunch. We attended the Bistro for lunch and had a quiet relaxed and enjoyable lunch.

  • Adam D

The steak was cooked just right. Pretty good quality. Mixed feelings as a guest was completely unsatisfied with her salad. Dessert was very sweet but needed more ice cream.

  • Neo Griffin

Wait to be seated, but go to the bar to order, go to bar again to pick up your dinner, no table service, ordered the most expensive steak which was full of gristle.

  • scott dickson

Not sure what happened with this place, used to be great but now not so much. Food is bad, service is bad and the place is dead. Needs some serious help.

  • Yes No

Went for dinner, Sarah was friendly and kind. She gave us steaks. Also the playground was nice. Awesome service and will come back again.

  • Chris Lothian

Fantastic place for the family of all ages to catch up and relax. The food there exceeded my expectations. Can't wait to go back.

  • JackyHorror

$4 extra to get Diane sauce with your snitty.. It’s getting harder and harder to support a place that doesn’t support members.

  • Bernice Kathryn Fonte

Right-sized neighborhood club with a number of dining options, games, etc. Had dinner at Little Bok Choy and food was amazing.

  • Andrew Nelson

Bistro food was surprisingly small (peas for scale) but not bad. We had to buy a second dinner. Kids play area was cool

  • Louisa Murray

Great place to take the kids, so many options for eating. We went to the cafe which had yummy cakes and good coffee.
