4.7 Stars? Really?? My honest review is only based on what I have tried, fatayer (all types, meat, cheese, etc) and bread (white and whole wheat). I'm sorry if my review offends anyone who rated them based on their purchase of "fatayer or bread". The fatayer (ordered through Uber eats): all of them are tasteless, no favour and not much of any spice. Imagine a Shawarma fatayer that doesn't taste anything like shawarma... The same goes for all other ones. I'm still not sure if the cheese and zatar had real cheese or what it was as I couldn't tell. If I wasn't lazy to drive back to sunbake I would have gone back to politely give them my left overs as I feel bad throwing food in the dump. The bread, I buy from No frills... It's usually stale when I see it/buy it. Although it's not expired. Again tasteless. The reason I still buy: it's the only brand available (close to me).

Very kind lady behind the counter. I have tried their chicken shwarma before that was very good. Unfortunately this time I picked the ready to go meat pie box, which was not delicious with hard crust and flavorless dry meat inside. The baklava was also dry with no syrup. The quality of pie and baklava is not on par with the price you pay. They look delicious but lack taste.

Best pita in the city, hot food is excellent and such good value for the price! Most menu items are a pretty filling meal for around $7. Also if you're mad about tipflation know that their till doesn't have a tip prompt at all (although the service has always been good so I still would if given the option)

Ordered ahead for a pick up and it was all perfectly packed and hot on arrival. Even the pita!! Where else can you get amazing fresh, hot pita bread and perfectly cooked, spiced, seasoned baked goods. Dips were fantastic too but played second fiddle to the amazing, fresh, baked products.

The Middle Eastern Student Association at the University Of Alberta would like to thank Sun Bake Pita for their generosity and support as they provided us with free food for our event. Everyone loved the food and ask where they could buy some of their own, an amazing restaurant with really nice owners. Thank you so much!

This was my second visit to Sunbake Pita Bakery, and I was just as pleased with my food as the first time I went. I tried the spicy chicken with cheese this time, and was very satisfied with the quality and quantity for what they charge. I will definitely be going back soon:)

Sunbake Pita generously provided food to our Middle Eastern Student Association event at the University for FREE. The food was delicious and so many people asked where the food was from because they loved it so much. I highly recommend everyone to go here!! More

Sunbake bakery a small shop located in the North Edmonton serves amazing pitas veg as well as non-veg. With a wide section of pop and other non-alcoholic beverages. And section for assorted roasted dry fruits, baklava & other Lebanese

The service was blatantly uninviting The cashier woman telepathically communicated to me to buy my Fatayers and leave. Is it because I'm not of Arab descent? Why the side eye behavior? It doesn't cost to smile.

Looking for some thin-crust veggie pie loaded with a heavenly combination of cheese, veggies and herbs? Sunbake Pita Bakery has got your back. Oh, and the the thin-crust base they use is house-baked pita bread. :)

This is such a nice place. Great service. Friendly. Food is so good and fresh. My favorite is their homemade mixed nuts. I can't stop eating those things. So good. Try this place if you are in Edmonton.

Love the chicken shawarma, it is scrumdillicious. Service is fast and served hot the best in Edmonton. As you can see in the picture the pita is packed with meat and other stuff fantastic

  • Muns Masalmeh

Very friendly service. Some of the best bread I have tried. Their wholewheat pita bread is very soft and does not go bad even after freezing and thawing. My goto place for pita.

I have been there twice and at both times I ate the Chicken Shawarma Wrap. The food is amazing. I recommend 100%. The counters are clean and the staff is friendly. More

Best shawarma I've had in Edmonton yet... wow. The baba ghamoush also HIT. So smoky?? Recommend it with the saj. Can't wait to try more things from here! More

I’m so glad I found this gem in my neighbourhood. The spinach and chicken manakeesh is a delicious and savoury snack at an unbeatable price. Thank you …

  • Vadim Goutsouk

Tried the chicken shawarma here first time. I thought I would get fresh juicy chicken from the rotisserie, but the chicken in my wrap was dry

  • David

Got the meat pie deluxe along with the spinach and chicken. Both amazing. Very warm and fresh! Wife always has cravings for the pitas here.

  • Abrar Islam

Great bakery for savory foods. The meat pies are great, especially the kafta one. Everything is very well priced!
