I phoned every shoppers drug mart in Edmonton and this is the one where I had a positive experience, so i am happy to write a positive review about 2 employees working here named Saba & Jennifer. I was looking for a hard-to-find video game console and had been phoning around to check if any location had any in stock. Every Shoppers Drug Mart I tried would have an employee answer the phone and state that they didn't have any in stock and then say "okay bye". This one was different. When i called the store Saba answered the phone and let me know that this location didn't have any in-stock- but instead of saying thank you and/or bye, she offered to take down my information and contact me when the store received a restock. This is the extra level of customer service that stands out and wasn't experienced on any of my previous calls to other shoppers locations. A few weeks after the initial call, miss Jennifer called me to let me know that the item I had been after had come into stock and they had set one aside for me. Both Saba with the initial offering of taking my info, and then Jennifer with the follow-up shows awesome customer service from both of them! Often retail stores promise to get back to you and even when they take down your info it is often misplaced or not passed on to the next shift etc. but I'm happy to say this experience was not like that at all. The fact that the team members here made the initial offer to help me get the item, as well as following up on it weeks later shows a commitment to both their job as well as customer satisfaction. Thank you again Saba & Jennifer! I would have happily wrote a shoppers drug mart survey as well but sadly my receipt was not 'randomly selected' to get a certificate number...

My name is Allison and I am so happy I met Baljeet. She is phenomenol as a woman and an employee. She is so comfortable to speak with and always greets me when I enter the store. Her knowledge in the beauty department is unmatched. She was the only person to inquire about my PC Optimum points balance as I was trying to purchase a perfume and was trying to save on cost. She thoroughly went through multiple scents and we tried to get the sweetest one on the shelves. I originally wanted a sale perfume but she told me I should treat myself and I deserved something longterm because I have the points. I am obsessed with the Sarah Jessica Parker (NYC) so i wanted to get as close to that scent as possible. We went through several and then we agreed on the Opium by Yves Saint Laurent. CONSIDERING I DIDNT REALIZE I HAD OVER $300 IN CASH REDEMPTION SHE OPENED MY EYES TO USING MY POINTS AND GETTING SOMTHING OF QUALITY. I love her attitude and this upsell was amazing and she dedicated the time. No other beauty advisor has ever done that with me. She needs to be recognized for her customer service and client care. I wanted to make sure you reassure her she's one of the best and truly made my day. She's such an asset in the beauty department. Don't lose her she's great!She really knows her fragrances and educated me as well.

After being told that it was no issue getting my prescription that they made a mistake on there was an issue and I have no choice but to spend the next month taking 30 mg less than I should for my antidepressant and I've had two breakdowns. I have a few weeks left to go and my only warning to people is to make sure that your spouse double check your medications or that you do and if there's a mistake that you fix it that day because they will not even if you don't abuse your medication and you take the amount you're supposed to your insurance will only cover one strength of that pill a month so if like me you're taking 60 mg and 30 mg and you take your 30s in 10 days to make up for the missing 60s you won't get them so double check your medication because obviously the pharmacist here don't and just so you know it's not the first time I've had this prescription I've been getting it for months

If you come here, be aware that you’re not allowed to shop in the cosmetic department without the cashier literally shopping with/for you. First time I came here, the cosmetic lady wouldn’t leave me alone, insisted I tell her what I’m looking for and she proceeded to grab everything for me. I thought it was insane that I wasn’t allowed to browse, and was treated like a child. The second time I was fed up with it so I told the cosmetic lady (different lady) that I didn’t want to be treated like I’m stealing and I felt like I was being racially profiled. She told me that she literally has to do this because if she doesn’t she will get fired for not doing her job. I will not come here anymore, I get treated poorly often enough in any shoppers drug mart. I will not be treated like a child just because you’re afraid of theft.

Would discourage anyone from purchasing baby formula from this location (or if you expect any sort of customer service). My fiancé and I have been shopping there for months purchasing formula and using our Similac coupon cheques that the company sends us. Dianna refused my spouses coupon and when I called to express my concern there was no accountability but rather blame put on my fiancé. A month ago they “changed their policy” and require “proof that you know the person” to the bank. This is in fact incorrect as the vendor is reimbursed by Similac directly and not the coupon holder. In a global pandemic when a young family is trying to feed their baby we would expect a little more empathy rather than being spoken over and blamed by an individual working a customer service role.

I've been dealing with pharmacy for the last 20 years. This is the worst service I ever received, to be fair I've been at this one for over 2 years, I keep punishing myself by returning. Tuesday I dropped off a prescription at 5pm, I was told 1.5 hours before it's ready, I said no problem I can pick it up tomorrow after 4 pm, she even wrote it down on my prescription. Next day around 5pm my wife stopped in and she was told ...oh your not suppose to pick it up until 5 or later, really??? lies !! I've been dealing with this far to long. Time to move. Out of 10 visit 8 will have some kind of issue. Plus having to yell your personal info with lots of people standing around.

This Shoppers has horrible customer service. Staff at the pharmacy acted like the question police when my prescription was no longer available and I asked if there was other percentages available (Retin A for skin) the guy behind the counter would not answer my question and just kept barking at me to ask my Doctor. A couple of days later I got a call that the prescription was in. Tonight I had an altercation with the Post Office police in the store. I was going to do some shopping while I was there but I have decided to take my business elsewhere. Not sure if they are under new management but it seems like a toxic environment to me.

Worst pharmacy ever, went to pick my 4yr old sons medicine after 24 hrs, they didnt even scanned the requisition which was manually sealed in the day before,and they came up with we dont have syrup can he have powder!! The lady works there has no idea asked about why did they sealed the requisition if you dont have the medicine,came with the response "we have lots of medicine so its hard to say right away" is she a pharmacist or running grocery store!!no kindness in their voice, seems like they r busy so lost their compassion, please avoid this pharmacy

awful lady clerk working at the Canada post kiosk on Nov 28th before close. the individual customer before me tryed to ship a package and she kept comming up with barriers for example:” thats going to cost you allot to ship” ($26.00?) & its “going to take awhile.” (yeah it was going to ontario) Bad service. then it got to me and she said she couldn’t varify my identity. The customer behind me even stepped in stating what she was asking for wouldn’t work either gezz- I hope you get treated the same way you treat your customers.

This store is thee absolute worst. The security guard follows only myself and my husband when we shop there. Even if there is other shoppers in the store. They even called on the intercom while we were shopping to pull up the cameras to see if we stole. The workers we even taking bad about my husband and i literally steps away from us, and the guard even swore at us tonight. The lady who works at the make up department she was the manager, which she is not. Needless to say we will NEVER shop there again.

I have dealt with acne for a while now and I have been so self conscious about it. I stopped by the Shoppers and talked to the lady at the cosmetics counter named Naffes she recommended me skin care products that I have been using for a bit more then a week now and my skin has not broken out the same as before and is looking so much better. I am so grateful to have come across her. Very informative and extremely welcoming she made me feel so comfortable will definitely be visiting again.

Shout out to ABIN in the pharmacy, very helpful and polite. The rest of the team could maybe work on their customer service. Maybe it was a long day, not sure, but a smile, some eye contact and addressing the people waiting goes a long way. Pharmacist with red hair and beard checking orders, maybe time for a switch up if you're not enjoying it. Just because someone encounters a bad day for whatever reason, it does not permit you to take it moving forward on the next customer.

Friendly staff,excellent service, and they remember regular customers, considering how many people they see a day,only pharmacy and store I have been treated respectfully every single visit,I am a daily customer, for 4 months now and I have zero complaints, the fragrance counter could be a little more sharing with the free samples or tester bottles, how can you be expected to purchase colonge or perfume for over100 dollars without smelling it first

Nice clean store, great selection and very friendly staff at the makeup counter. I don't typically pick up Rx here because the prices are too high, which isn't the staff's fault, but sometimes this is the only store open late at night, and it's nice to have a knowledgeable pharmacist available to answer questions about your kids' pink eye or anything else. I also like that I can pick up milk and bread if I need it.

I usually fill my family prescription here and the pharmacists are very friendly and highly efficient. They are always very fast and also good customer service experience. This store also houses the Canada post and also a beauty section. While their products could be a little expensive than other stores around, they have very good high quality products.

Pharmacist male at a certain time of day is my go to expert on health on medications. He is my hero. If you want expert advice call them or book an appointment. Shoppers has the best pharmacists. I’m not currently a pharmacy customer as I had difficulties getting my insurance switched over. But I appreciate them more than they’ll know!

Really don't enjoy the "secret shoppers" there, yeah, not so secret....way to obvious, annoying and extremely uncomfortable. Sorry just don't like getting stalked every time my mom asks me to pick up milk and bread. Been a costumer there for over eight years and have never/ would never steal anything.. ridiculous.

Make sure you get the correct change back from the cashier. I realized after I left the store that I was short $15 exactly after paying for my item. When I returned within half hour the cashier said he gave me my correct change. Problem is he brought it up as soon as he saw me approaching the till. Untrustworthy

New facility stocked very well, cosmetics, pharmacy,health and hygiene, groceries, post office outlet and so much more. The staff is extremely friendly and the pharmacists go out of there way to help and give all the information that you require and all questions are welcomed. Very nice experience.

Been going there and getting my meds there since 2001 (17 years) I have had no issues, everyone is helpful...BUT! I have had to adjust to a high turnover of pharmacists and it’s difficult to adjust until they get to know me and my issues. Oh and the security guard at the door is sooooo annoying.

The pharmacists here are consistently so compassionate and patient when I've had to deal with complex medical questions for my family and changing insurance coverage. Even when it's crazy busy they take the time to answer my questions thoroughly without rushing me through. Very much appreciated!

I have been comming to the Beverly location for 10+ years for pharmacy and they are awesome. I love dealing with Beth in the pharmacy. She always makes my day. She is very friendly and helpfull. Although shes wearing a mask you can tell she has a big ol smile under there. Great job Beth!!!!..

Won't be shopping here again. Cashier Jennifer is abrupt and ignorant. Walked out without purchasing because of her terrible service to other customer's and myself. Too bad that she is the front end clerk, as the other staff is great! Never an issue until seeing her treat people badly today.

The young lady in the cosmetics department deserves 500 stars as soon as you walk in the store she welcomes you with genuine kindness. Her overall demeanor is GOLD. By far my favorite shoppers store and favorite beautician. Way to go!!! Thanks for brightening my day …

This location has a sign that clearly states “open till midnite”. I showed up at 11:50pm and the gates were already closed, doors locked. I was in need of an item not sold at convenience stores. 2 minutes before midnite and I’d understand, but 10 minutes? Unacceptable.

I would like to commend Baljeet for the excellent customer service. She went above and beyond to ensure I get the best fragrance which I wanted to gift a friend. She provided me with different options for my budget. Thank you Baljeet. I will definitely come back.

I called to ask a question to pharmacy they didn’t even let me finish what I was saying before hanging up so called back and the woman said what do you want we are busy and was extremely unprofessional and rude. This is not how you treat customers

Most of the pharmacists are friendly and helpful, however, one treats folks very poorly. I moved all my prescriptions somewhere else because of this pharmacist. I have never been treated like that by a pharmacist and I hope I never will again.

I’ve gotten so much help by your associate Nafees in her work ethic when I had recently visited this location. I was lost in the makeup section and was unsure where to find a particular beauty item but she has been very helpful in assisting

Retail staff have been helpful on many occasions. My flu shot, give by a pharmacist was so painless I thought it hadn’t even started when it was over! With covid an ongoing concern, I feel very safe there on my rare necessary shopping trips.

Shopping at Shoppers is a good shopping experience. There’s a good selection of makeup to groceries to pharmacy items. I would say that things are somewhat pricey due to it being like a convenience store. I shop at Shoppers quite often

The manager was very friendly and helpful, spent a lot of time helping us find what we were looking for! It was such good service that I'm going to keep coming to this one instead of the one a little closer to where I live.

I was a long term customer until today. This pharmacy has gotten progressively worse to the point that I decided to change pharmacies. Save yourself the frustration and shop elsewhere (especially for prescriptions).

Called the pharmacy quite late tonight and the pharmacist was very pleasant. He answered all of my questions and explained everything to me with patience and great knowledge. Thank you for the great care you give!

Went to post office in this location for a bubble mailer and pack of stamps the lady said she can't sell me stamps only the bubbler. I find it extremely strange that a post office would refuse to sell stamps

Sketchy niebour hood. Like the clean store and friendly staff. Oh man the security guard with Ray-Ban sunglasses at 11 pm inside completes the hood package. they always have deals on good stuff.

They called me for a wellness check. They assisted with my Covid shots and concerns. The pharmacy here is amazing and worth the trip One clerk is a bt bitter but more pros than anything

Pharmacy staff are not very good. Security always racially profiles me and follows me around. New hours are horrible. We need more things open later not another business closing early.

The Pharmacist's here are rude and abusive to people dying from cancer. Picking fights then calling the police when said patient won't leave without perscribed medication.

I go to this Shoppers Drug Mart frequently. The staff are so helpful and super friendly. They also have a Canada Post outlet which is very convenient.

What a good experience I had with associate Nafees, She has been wonderful throughout my shopping experience. Would love to shop in their again.
