This is by far THEE best London Drugs (LD). I dropped off 2 prescriptions Friday, November 20 2020. Pharmacist (assistant) Julie J took the time to explain to me how to use my medications, what to do, what not to do and what to expect. Very professional and courteous lady. All the pharmacists and their assistants are just as courteous as Julie J at this LD location. One of the prescriptions was ready in 20 minutes!! The other, a cream, understandably, would be ready in a couple of days. I will receive a text message when it is ready for pick up. I was going to run some errands and come back to pick up my meds but LD was having a fantastic sale so I used my 20 minute wait, which is in no means an inconvenient wait time, to pick up a number of great finds. I bought 2 Christmas Ornaments I recognized from last year to add to my collection I had purchased during Boxing Week 2019. Rather than mark up last year's stock (as some retail operations do) LD had each ornament still priced at last year's Boxing Week price of $1 each. The head turban in pink only was $9.99. It was worth it but if you are the type that waits for sale then go ahead and wait. LD has a new sale every week including Manager's Specials. The Reindeer Window Hanging was only $14.99. Again, a very reasonable price. I picked up the last reindeer but several other festive styles are available. And Yes!! LD does have Tetley's new Sunshine Tea and new Immune Boost Tea. Both were on sale. Chances are they will continue to be on sale from time to time. No shortage of Chocolates and other treats for the holidays. If you don't have an LD Extras card, I recommend you get one to get loads of savings texted or emailed to you. Plus after 10 daily consecutive purchases(one visit per day) you receive a $5 dollar voucher to use on almost anything (prescriptions & lottery tickets excluded). I suggest spreading out your shopping needs over 10 visits. You'll earn you $5 voucher faster. Plus LD gives you an extra $5 on your birthday. You don't even need your card to collect visits or redeem your rewards. Once you are registered, all you have you give is your phone number when you check out to redeem your rewards. You can place photo orders on line and pick up in store!! This is great if your photo album is on a laptop, tablet, PC or phone. You will receive notification when your photographs or photograph merchandise (calendars, cards photo mugs, etc.) are ready for pick up. I, myself, have used this service. Sparkling clean, sanitized store. Self-serve checkouts, shopping carts and baskets are sanitized after each use. Seniors have their own morning shopping hours which gives limited income seniors the first chance to pick up great savings the day a sale starts!! Check London Drugs website for details. Be sure to check CLEARANCE TABLES well-marked when LD has them set up. PLEASE FOLLOW THE GUIDANCE ARROW DECALS ON THE FLOOR. Nothing upsets me more then customers walking in the wrong direction. I witnessed an LD employee walking in the wrong direction. But to be fair, we all err as we are all letting our guards down and getting way too comfortable, in my opinion, with and during COVID-19. If I can follow the arrows so can you. What are you rushing towards? Your death!! Slow down and act responsibly for everyone's sake And safety. If you can't maintain 6 foot social distancing from a customer or LD employee in an aisle, PLEASE BE PATIENT ... AND WAIT AND HOLD YOUR TONGUE/TEMPER. As I said, what's the big rush?

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in this evening after a 10 hour work shift, to purchase some cologne sets ($135) each. I was looking to purchase about 4. The girl in cosmetics was on break (her name is Rena) and the guy filling for her couldn’t help me much, told me it will be 5 min until she’s back. I thought sure I’ll wait. She came back and saw me standing there, started helping another lady at the til, calling the manager to help override a purchase. (He saw me standing there and didn’t care to ask if I needed help) I stood there for another 20 minutes waiting!!!! She says I’ll be one minute. I said is there anyone who could open this glass case for me? I’ve been waiting for over 25 minutes already. She lost her mind!!! Started to yell that she’s the only one there and no one else could help. I said what’s up with the attitude?! She kept talking back and yelling! Like having a tantrum!! Pathetic!! I said Get me your manager or supervisor. When he came he was even worse than her!!! Couldn’t open the case or apologize for the inconvenience of wasting over 40 min of my time at this point. He rolled his eyes and shook his head and said he was here 5 minutes ago and didn’t see me standing there (basically saying that I wasn’t waiting that long, accusing me of lying) when he actually looked at me!!!! His name is Kelly and I am embarrassed for him and how disgusting his customer service is. I couldn’t believe what was happening! These people should not be allowed to work with the public. Very rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. Why have products for sale that you refuse to sell to customers!?!! And freak out on the customer that’s trying to give you business!!?No respect for others time at all. Obviously they didn’t want me spending $400-$500 so I’ll gladly go elsewhere. If you have to visit this store and you need assistance from the staff. Please Do not waste your valuable time because you will leave there fuming, like I just did!!

We bought 3 construction fort 2 days ago October 15 at around 2:25pm (employee #: 55948) because it says in the tag display that it was on sale for $15. I bought some car toys as well. I paid and left without checking the receipt. My husband went back to the store on the exact same day because he wants to buy the last box. When he was about to pay, it scanned $24.99 and he said to the cashier that it is not the right price so they checked and they gave him $15. He bought it at around 10pm (employee #: 55011). We're both busy and we cannot go to the store the next day. So he came today and asked for price adjustment and the associate working there told him that it is not $15 anymore. We are not stupid! We know price change on a specific date! They even told us that if they know who is the cashier who ring the item for him they should've given it to us. I guess they did not check our receipt. Well, I know that it's my fault leaving without checking my bill but it is not our responsibility to check if the items are marked correctly. We wanted the right price that is shown on that exact same day. They gave us the right price when we bought the last box but how come they cannot do it on the 1st purchase we had when in fact it clearly says there that it is $15. False advertising, maybe? I am so disappointed on this location. We're a loyal customer and shops every week but will never shop again because of this incident!!!!! Remember: They gave us the $15 price on the 2nd purchase meaning it was marked $15 that day even though it is $24.99 when scanned. So it is your associates fault for not putting the right price tag on the item!!!

Just a quick note. I have always had the best experience at this London Drugs. You can feel the community and the the cashiers are always helpful. Sadly , I see that this drugstore is going the way of others and using self check out. I have to say I will continue to insist on using a cashier as long as I can. I value the work that they do, taxes go into the system through their employment, and as far as I can tell I am not going to be paid for checking out my own items. When it no longer makes sense to wait in a long line up I will take my service elsewhere but I will certainly miss visiting what was once a really lovely place to shop as well as the friendly service.. *You will see from the reply below that you get the same scripted response. Unfortunately, what actually happened is you are herded into a single line at Customer Service while you wait although there are empty checkouts, unused self checkouts and you wait while the only Customer Service cashier sees the line and calls for backup. Backup will come as quickly as they can as they are now being used for merchandizing. They then have to open a checkout, sign in and redirect the line up....no, I am sorry but this is just poor service. Thank you for the scripted reply though...... I think I could write them now myself. You need to do better or be honest with customers at least.

I like this store and their products, and I often browse here. The last few times I’ve shopped here (in the food section) I was followed around the store and glared at by a black male employee (in uniform.) I felt this employee was trying to very hard to make it obvious he was watching me. I paid for my purchases at the electronics section (as is required if paying with credit card) and even after paying he looking at me in n intimidating & hostile manner as I headed toward the exit. At this point I had enough and stopped at customer service to ask for a supervisor because I wanted to produce my receipt before exiting, and also to complain about how I was being treated. The male supervisor’s name was Kelly. I explained the situation and he seemed very unconcerned and even smirked as I spoke to him, but said he would speak to the employee. I went back to this location to shop again a week later and had the same thing happen but this time it was another employee (also in uniform.) I understand the need to have security, but I felt I was being intimidated, I have done nothing wrong and I am a paying customer.

If you value your device DO NOT take it here for any kind of servicing or repair. Brought in an iPhone for a simple battery replacement that was supposed to take 2-3 hours somehow ended up taking upwards of 5 days... The technician damaged the Wi-Fi antenna during the repair process and conveniently did not have a replacement part on hand. The whole experience was blood boiling as they scrambled to find a loaner phone. On top of that, they still expected me to replace the screen protector for my phone and pay full price for the battery replacement service. As an individual that relies on their phone for work, you would understand that this whole situation was majorly inconvenient. However, no compensation was offered. Basically, had to demand for a loaner phone to scrape by in the meantime. Poor customer service and DO NOT RECOMMEND London Drugs. “Apple Authorized Service Provider”? I beg to differ. I wouldn’t even trust them with a potato. Save yourself the headache and valuable time and take your business elsewhere.

Ahmed in the photo centre is AWESOME!! My mother and I went in store today to get pictures printed (Goddess). I had initially bought frames to make sure I get the right size of the printed picture. I went in store and was greeted by Ahmed at the photo centre. He was so considerate and patient and he made sure we choose the best picture so it prints out clearly in a bigger size. He even tried to search for the goddess picture for me. When the pictures printed, he even put it in the frames for me and made sure everything is well centred! (Not to mention, the service was quick - about 15 minutes) Even my mother was so happy with Ahmed’s exceptional service ! We felt taken care of. Even though our request was really out of the ordinary , he did his best to help us and we just couldn’t be happier! Thank you Ahmed!!

Visited this store today for the first time ever to get ID photos done, and pick up developed photos for someone. There was only one person who worked at the photo ID desk, and he disappears inside after every customer leaving the rest waiting in the line up indefinitely. While I was waiting, another worker from the electronic department next door 'volunteered' to ask why I was waiting in the line up, I must say that person was very hard to communicate with and I made a huge and challenging effort to explain the reason for my visit. He basically needed to be take a breath, listen and speak rather than assuming what people need. I must say this was the most bizzare encounter I ever had in retail shops. I'm afraid I won't be going back or recommend this place to others.

This specific London Drugs location is awesome. It is always very well stocked & clean. Sales around the whole store are always fantastic. One reason we keep coming back to this location is their knowledgeable staff. They are very friendly and easy to talk to, they all know what they're talking about when helping customers. My only criticism of this location is the Photo Lab - they advertise as a 1 Hour Photo still, however that isn't the case. I found out the hard way when ordering photos for a funeral that they no longer do 1 Hour Photo. Was very disappointed to waste all the time selecting photos at the kiosk to be told that they wouldn't be ready until next day. Was quite upsetting, however I only take 1 star off for this, as the rest of the store is great.

I was waiting at the photo lab counter. I had ordered some photos and had paid online so just needed to pick up. The guy was helping another customer so I was waiting. The customer said he could finish what he was doing because he noticed I was waiting. The employee came over to me and said he had to leave to join a team meeting! I was super surprised as a customer waiting is more important! I just said okay cause I was so surprised that I would just be left waiting. Eventually, someone in the back noticed me and came out to help. How hard would it have been to let her know he had to leave. That I would’ve understood. Pretty sad when another customer has better customer service then the employee! Will never be back!

Terrible customer service. Both female cashiers tried their best not to help me. One waited until I walked away from a frozen self check out before she went over to reset it. Literally stood there for 5 minutes and she only went over to remedy the issue when I went over and stood in line and she could ensure she didn't have to have contact with me. The other cashier wasn't much better. She seemed just as angry that she had to deal with me.Terrible rude people you have working their. After spending thousands over the years there, I will never go back. Either make sure your self checkouts work, or hire cashiers that have a maturity level that's higher than a 12 year old.

December 20, 2021. My wife and I return here every so often and enjoy shopping here. There is a great variety of household products and goods and usually find what we are looking for. Parking can be an issue when it’s busy. Its got everyday essentials for everyday needs. Not much missing from this store. No groceries or cars but pretty much anything else. TV’s, computers, cameras, kitchen appliances, prescription drugs, cosmetics personal products and much more is here. It’s clean and well lit. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable.

Went in last night to pick up a couple of items and get lottery tickets. Customer service cashier was extremely rude, didn’t even say ‘Hello’, seemed like she was put out for having to serve customers instead of them using the self checkouts. Wouldn’t ask if I had an LDextras card either. A customer was ahead of me in line and had been waiting for quite a while and had to get her attention from standing guard at the self checkout registers. If she doesn’t like working in the customer service industry, she should find a new job!

Customer service is great everywhere but the photolab. Every time I get photos there I regret it. It takes SO long. Just picking up a photo order took forever and the lady was very slow and did not care that so many of us were here waiting for so long. She asked for my name then after I gave it told me she couldn't find my order unless i told her all the photo sizes i ordered? I had orderd several and she was intentionally being difficult. My name should have been sufficient. After 3 painful experiences, I won't be going back.

With the price of gas and other vehicle costs I call first to make sure I don’t just go there and waste my time and money. It seems all London Drugs stores in Edmonton won’t answer their phones when I call and ask for individual departments. I won’t shop at stores that will not take calls so I can determine if I can go there to buy something if they have it in stock or not. Also I want to get information on what I’m looking for before I go but If no one answers the phone then I just won’t make the trip. Lost business for them.

Hi I recently purchased a new computer from this London Drugs. I got a great deal on an Acer desktop that had Windows 10, which I easily upgraded to Windows 11 so I am very happy because a similar desktop with Windows 11 already installed would have cost me twice as much. The computer staff are very friendly and knowledgeable and are awesome! If you are looking for a new computer London Drugs is definately worth checking out. Terry G. processed a return but was stand offish and saying comments like "I don't know why you did this" when the slip was taped to the box. Then asked me questions about the item when it "didn't matter anyway". I understand customer service can be a difficult job, but the interaction started off very pointedly on her end. My process was returned in a timely manner, even though she wasn't too sure of the process itself. Otherwise, the store staff are very helpful, but this has made me rethink coming here.

Coming here for years and never disappointed. They have great sales. I went to electronics standing in the middle *there's so much too look at it can be overwhelming * but the employee came right up asking if I needed help and they took me right to where I needed to be and offered more information about the product I was buying. Stopped by this location for the first time, as items that I was looking for were in-stock at this location. Visually, the entrance (inside) was not as inviting as other locations and the store was a bit dark (lighting?) so I located my items quickly, paid and left without exploring. I don't think I will be back -I really didn't like the atmosphere- but I am giving this location a 3 out of 5 because London Drugs is a solid company in general and this location appeared to be well stocked.

At the end of a long day, I had to shop for some cosmetics at the Northgate location. Very thankful for the advice and patience that was demonstrated in the late evening of 11/19/20 in the boutique. The electronic people have no clue as what they are doing. One person tells you one thing and another tells you something completely different. You can be standing waiting for someone to help you. They won’t even acknowledge you, definitely lacking on customer service skills big time. Brought something in to get fixed a few times just to have to bring it back again. I would go to a better store next time on any other electronic that I need.

My friend was only in the city for the day. He was setting up his dad’s new room at the old folks home and the last thing we needed to do was make copies of some photos. The wait for the scanned photos was going to be the next day. The young gent working at the photo counter helped us get the photos in a half hour. It was so very appreciated by me and my friend. I was there trying to buy a charger for my Apple watch. And the price for normal usb and usb-c was 39.99 for both and it was written on bold letters that Usb-C fast charger 39.99. But the guy there scan it on the computer and told me 52.50 and i told him the price on the tag is 39.99 why you charge me this and i show it to him there then he took the price tag out and refused to sell it with same price was written on it.

Orders Christmas photo cards. They took longer then specified on the email and website. Ordered cards from the states and they came way quicker then London Drugs. They do not print these in stores it’s from Vancouver. Buyer beware the times are completely inaccurate for order. Thank you owner for the response but I have re checked my email confirmation and it does not state that. It states 5-7 buisness days

Not impressed with this location. They used to have really great customer service but recently went to look at getting a new camera. We waited at the counter for about 10 minutes and not a single employee came to us or in the area. As we were leaving we saw three employees chatting not far from the counter & two other employees chatting in the aisle. The only one that greeted us was at the front check out.

Waiting in the TV area but the customer in front keep chit chatting with the staff or manager for a good half hour while ignoring the people waiting after. The manager need to be more professional either get some one else to help or have better time control skills. The Lady who help me out at front customer service is very helpful and professional. That's one star and five star, for the average 3 star.

I just purchased an Onkyo home theatre amp. The first one I bought was a clearance model and unfortunately did not work. I was able to return it hassle free and lucked out to find the new unit had gone on sale and was able to upgrade from the clearance model for just a few dollars more. The staff treated me like a king, and the item I purchased is working beyond my expectation!

I love this store! I have been going to this location since I was a little girl and there was an actual walk in mall. They were couple doors down from the original spot of the Nut shop which now is in Northgate Centre. Your staff has always been courteous be it at Pharmacy, foods or Photo centre/Electronics. Quick passport photo but pictures always look awful, I have taken pictures there for all my family (parents, wife and kids). We all looks weird, sweating and shaky in the picture. Gurpreet in the cosmetic department was super rude and dry. She did not even say hello ask if I needed help. When completing the transaction she was more focused on writing down the sale rather than helping me. Didn't give me the time of day and didn’t even say have a good day. Horrible service so disappointing.

Old school, easy to find, in person friendly service!! Very good product knowledge by the staff. They are easy to find and stay with you as long as you need. If you have your doctor fax a prescription, make sure you call. I called at 9:30 asking for a refill, I didn't have any left so I had my doctor fax it over. Come in at 11 and oh no one's even looked at the bloody machine. It's really nice to be forgotten guys! Good job!
