I travel 6 hours to shop here and I feel so at home each and every time! Can’t make the trip to the shop...not a problem! They have a fabulous website and staff who will shop virtually with you! They’ll select articles of clothing, photographs the pieces and send the shots to you or they even do FaceTime if you book an appointment! They ship all over the world so no matter where you live you can have their fashions shipped to you! Did I mention they have live videos showcasing fashions, designers, and they even give away gift cards! I know, it sounds too good to be true! They aim to please so please aim your car or computer in their direction, you will not be disappointed!

I was not at all impressed with the service at Shepherd’s. My sister, mother and I went to Shepherd’s in Trainyards to help my mom look for a dress for my wedding. My mother was instantly helped by Heather. My sister and I waited by the changeroom while my mother tried on a few dresses. My mother came out with a dress on and my sister exclaimed that it looked really great and made her look young. Heather looked at us and stated “she is young” and rolled her eyes at us. My mother went back into the change room and Heather continued to laugh at us and shook her head for making the comment that my mother looked young. As my mother continued to try on dresses we would share our opinions with her. It seemed that any time we told my mother that a dress looked great (even if my mom wasn’t too sure about it), Heather seemed to disagree. When my mom asked my sister to help her unzip the dress, Heather stated “well that’s my job”. While my mother did still go home with a dress that looked stunning on her; Heather was very rude and disrespectful toward my sister and I. I personally will never shop there and I can only hope that Heather does not continue to be inconsiderate to other people she helps when there.

Last week my mom (now from Michigan, originally from Ottawa) and I came to Shepherd's Fashions to check out the store. My mom has been watching the store's posts and videos on Facebook for about 4 years and wanted to see what this place was all about. When we first walked in the door we were immediately greeted by one staff member and again, multiple times by other staff members as we walked around the store. My mom was so delighted as she recognized all of the women that greeted us (she had seen them in the social media videos). and remarked to me that they were so nice in person, just like they appeared on the videos. My mom found a gorgeous tunic. Primal ended up helping us and made sure that the tunic my mom chose was perfect for her shape. We also found some scarves that we both liked and Primal helped show us how to wear them the right way :). Thanks to Primal we were even able to see where the videos are shot and got to meet Elaine, Charron and Marlen. What a wonderful and beautiful experience. The store and the team was so beautiful, warm and welcoming. Thank you. We look forward to visiting when we are back in Ottawa.

If you never shop at another clothing store...you won't miss out. I've never step foot in the Shepherd's store but discovered their Youtube videos and FB videos online during the pandemic and have become addicted not only to their superb (and quite affordable) range of clothes, but also to their body-positive videos, embracing all women's shapes and sizes. Their customer service is superb, they answer any question you have, carry incredible and wearable clothing and are my new "go to" for whatever I need! I visit their website often (WAY TOO OFTEN) and always find something interesting. Their YouTube videos about body shapes are must-sees, and I've been watching their videos about their collections - even going back a few years, I get ideas with how to re-work my own wardrobe items!

Shopping at Shepherd's Fashions is an amazing fashion experience-amazing fashion lines, amazing staff and awesome service!! I am very familiar with the lines they carry and I'm thrilled that I'm only an hour away AND during this time I simply order online-quick and easy.....also during this time their fashion shows have not only kept me sane, but also provided wonderful ideas to incorporate new items with my own items as they 'style it up' for me online, love Wardrobe Wednesday, Fashion Friday and Style Saturdays.....I just received my current order yesterday and can't wait do have my own fashion show here at home, thank you girls for rescuing me after my favourite store here in Cornwall closed and you carry the same lines......THANK YOU!

Fantastic shopping experience! I shopped at Shepherd's whenever I visited Ottawa for many years and always found wonderful clothing and accessories. But it is now my absolute favourite on-line store. The buying team does a great job; the video fashion shows are really fun and super-helpful about size, fit, drape - all those things you miss not being there in person. The philosophy is body-positive and non-judgemental. And the customer service on fulfillment, shipping, and (rare) returns is first-class. Thanks ladies - you have really cheered us up through the pandemic! (Oh - extra bonus - Shepherd's promotes Canadian design and manufacture as well as women designers and women-owned businesses. Ever since discovering Shepherd's Fashions online about a year ago, it has become my favourite place to buy clothing. I love their fashion shows which can be seen on both Facebook and Instagram as they are so much fun and very uplifting to watch during these uncertain times. The wide variety of fashions available are stylish and inclusive of all body types. The models used in the shows are delightful and of varying heights and sizes. I have bought many items from Shepherd's and will continue to do so. In my experience, the customer service has been superb as every effort was made to respond promptly to questions and to accommodate my needs. I highly recommend Shepherd's Fashions.

My favorite online store. Their fashion shows feature women of all sizes and shapes who provide excellent fashion, fit and styling tips. I live in the US so currently cannot visit in person, but truly enjoy their weekly live fashion shows on Wed. and their Fashion Fridays. I have been very satisfied with the quality, comfort and style of all fashions ordered. It is currently a flat $10 shipping rate to US, and the pricing is in Canadian dollars, so with the Canadian to US conversion rate all items are at a discounted price. Highly recommend-I finally know how to tie a scarf after watching one of their fashion shows.

I have so enjoyed watching these ladies do their fashion videos all throughout this crazy year. They are definitely a group that love working together and they make me laugh all the time! The style tips are amazing and the best part is that they feature such an awesome array of models. As Marlene says at the beginning of each video ... every shape, size, age and style preference. They will feature a line or a particular type of top, for example, and they will all try it on, style it up and advise on sizing for their shape. Thanks, ladies for getting us through this challenging ‘shopping’ season!

3 Star for the young lady Estelle at the cash who was very pleasant & helpful, after having dealt with a “senior” bilingual clerk who was rude and condescending - was it the jogging pants & running shoes that made us less valuable clients? She wasn’t helpful until I pushed for her to check the inventory in the back, which she found but Estelle had already ordered the piece online for me. Senior clerk had very little knowledge of what Shepherds had advertised, I had to prove it to her, she made me feel like I was lying! I’ve shopped at Shepherds before and there was always a problem!

You’ll never encounter a group of sales ladies who are so knowledgeable, fun, helpful and full of great fashion advice. The videos that they do at least 3 times weekly, are highlight of my day. Their fashion tips have been so helpful for myself and I pass them on to my customers in our ladies boutique here in Morgantown, WV. They operate an online store so it doesn’t matter where you live. Feel free to call them for advice before and after you buy. If you ever get a chance to visit the store, you’ll be delighted with your experience. I can’t sing their praises more!

I have been watching the fashion videos by Shepherd's Fashions for a few years now and am always learning something. The lovely ladies who model (including Marlene) are an inspiration because they come in all sizes and heights and they stress body positivity. I live on the west coast of the US and have ordered a few things and am thrilled with the customer service and flat rate of $10. I eagerly await the weekly videos and always make time to watch. I discovered Shepherd’s through Facebook about a year ago. I love this store so much. The on-line fashion shows have kept me entertained during COVID and I really appreciate seeing the various items for sale modelled by the lovely ladies at Shepherds’s who represent all ages, stages and sizes. I have purchased many items and have had no problems at all with delivery or even when I have had to make a return. This place is the best. I look forward to the day that I can make a road trip to Ottawa to see the Shepherd’s stars in person. ❤️

I needed a fancy outfit for a wedding and was prepared to spend a significant amount for something pretty. I was excited when I started looking around as the clothes are lovely and they have a wide range of styles and sizes. Unfortunately, however, the sales staff are appallingly rude and negligent, more interested in gossiping and studiously avoiding customers than helping them or even greeting them. In reading the other reviews I learned this is a common occurrence so presumably attributable to poor management. I guess I’ll go the Bay.

I am leaving for Italy in a few weeks and wanted to get some new summer clothes! I had just been to a farm with my grandsons class so was dressed more for that than shopping but that should not matter. I experienced the worst customer service ever!! I was ignored even when I asked for help. I left feeling awful. luckily the ladies at Allegro were friendly, helpful and non judgmental and I left with 3 great outfits. Shame on you Shepherds. I won’t ever step in your store again. Making women feel good would sell a whole lot more clothes.

I don't usually write reviews but after the amazing experiences I have had with Shepherd's Fashions I decided that I should! The customer service has been amazing! I discovered them during the Covid shutdown and the videos are so entertaining! I plan my Friday around Fashion Friday videos. When there was an error in my order Stephanie went over and above to correct it and ensure I felt like a valued customer! Keep up the great videos and work ladies! I hope to one day come to Ottawa to visit the store in person.

Love the fashions shows but have been disappointed with purchases. I have learned that O/S is not for me. In the Gilmour, I am typically a size 8 and find they are huge. I ordered another top and was sent the incorrect style in the same brand,/color, I kept it but just not loving it. My advice would be to watch the fashion shows and then go to your local ladies shop, many carry the same brands and you can try on, plus you are supporting a local business. 5 stars for the ladies and the fashion tips though.

Fabulous online store. Found them on Facebook a few years ago. Have always had outstanding customer service. This is important since their shop is in Canada (I’m in the US). Wonderful casual and dressy clothing for all shapes and styles. Especially love their weekly Wardrobe Wednesday and Fashion Friday live videos (Facebook and Instagram). Some times they surprise us with a Saturday video. Watch You Tube for past videos. Elaine shows the multiple scarf styles. Love this company

I love the fashion but had a very negative experience. I was trying on some items and hung my top up on the hook within the change room. The hook had a piece of metal sticking out in back that left a pull in the fabric of my top. When I brought this to the attention of staff, they advised that they would take $10.00 off my next purchase. Wow, for ruining my top? Very disappointed! Now the staff did go into the change room and confirmed my story......

I’m an online shopper, relatively new to Shepherd’s. My orders arrive promptly, I receive emails confirming receipt as well as shipping information. Never an issue. I love their online videos, lots of helpful ideas. I recently ordered one of the joggers from Catherine Lillywhite in the o/s. I’m a size ten and it has plenty of room for expansion in the waist and hip area, my only comment would be it fits more like a jegging then a jogger in the legs.

I have watched Shepherd’s grow to become the success it is both locally, nationally as well as internationally and no one deserves it more! Absolutely love their products but their customer service leaves a lot to be desired!! This experience will be my last. The first time, I wrote it off to the lady having a bad day, second time was harder to accept and this time its just not worth it. Yesterday 3 friends and myself went to Shepherd’s for the first time as I had been watching their videos online. What a wonderful experience we all had. From walking through the door to leaving, the staff treated us so well. We met many of the beautiful ladies who model daily online and they were very bit as nice as they appear on the show. I really enjoy Marlene and her staff. I think spending Saturday morning watching their videos is a great way to pass the time. I have ordered quite a number of items from Shepherd's after being inspired watching and listening to their tips and friendly banter. The items have all arrived quickly and lived up to my expectations. I am so glad you are online and have created such a friendly community via your store.

Shopping in person at Shepherd's requires a trek for me because I do not live in Ottawa, but it is so worth it. The service, in store, is some of the best I have had in a clothing store (listening, making suggestions, low pressure). Now their videos are a great way to see the clothes, get styling advice and feel confident making a purchase. I do not like to shop but they make shopping for clothes a pleasure.

Shepherd's is my favourite store! The designer fashions, the shoes and even the fixtures are for sale, but that's not the best part - the sales associates are incredible. Not only do they know their product but everyone is trained on what styles suit your body shape best, and how to put a complete outfit together. It's a pleasure to shop in the wide open space and you never feel pressured to purchase.

It was during this time of Covid that I discovered Shepherds. They have online fashion shows at least 3 times per week which are lively, fun, and informative. The beautiful ladies, all different sizes, shapes, and ages, show us how to wear the fashions. I have e-mailed them and have always received replies to my queries. Grab yourself a coffee/tea and settle in and watch the shows.

I absolutely love the fashion shows. The models are all beautiful women with different fashion styles and body shapes. Very helpful when they are honest and let you know a certain style will not work or works well with body types. Many different tips and styling tips. Usually ready to watch at 7AM with a cup of tea and start my day on Wednesday and Saturday.

A few times I’ve called now to order things after your videos and your already sold out! I watched your video this morning on coats and called before you opened and again your all sold out...this is becoming so disappointing. The staff is so much fun! The varied selection of clothing is wonderful. It is nice to be "middle aged" and still find young yet age appropriate clothing. I was looking for a shirt yet found a great hot pink rain coat that is actually rain proof. Of course I found a shirt as well. Lol.

I have placed several orders from the Shepherd’s website and I have always been pleased with my purchase as well as their wonderful service. Their videos are also great, displaying their apparel on various size models and explaining sizes so you know what to order.

Fabulous store with great product. The staff are super friendly. Only negatives is that it's a high end store with a high end price...which is hardly a TRUE negative. You get what you pay for at Shepherd's...more so than at other stores with similar product.
