I love the clothes at Maurices, especially love their large selection of jeans. Unfortunately, I sometimes need to wear plus size as I'm a size 14 -16 and not all styles that are in the core (regular) section are available in the plus section. I feel like it's misleading for the store to advertise sizes 0 - 24 when not all styles come in plus. Most dresses only come in the core section so it's sad for the plus size customers. They have tall boots with large calf space which is a much needed product in a market that caters to skinny legs. Their "short" pants and jeans are not short enough. Old Navy and Reitmans do a better job designing pants for short customers. Not enough panties in 1X and larger. If you're 2X or 3X don't bother going there for panties. Go to Torrid at Bayshore instead. Very cute seasonal socks. Very stretchy and comfy!! And the luxe blankets are really nice! They have some really cute beaded bracelets, but if you are a size large in the wrist they won't fit you. If you can't cater to all sizes with the bracelets then don't sell them. It's discriminatory. Again, go to Torrid for jewellery as they have different sizes so that you can feel good about the body you have.

Accessibility: Mostly accessible, some slightly small aisles. Decent sized change rooms. A decent sized clothing store which also offers a large variety of plus-sized clothing located with Carlingwood Mall. June/23 4★ -Staff was friendly and welcoming. -Decent selection, some things were low on stock. -Very clean store. -The manager seemed very stressed and this was reflecting on the staff. The manager was trying to cover the whole floor and help every customer despite there being plenty of staff. She would also yell instructions or store sale goals across the store even with several customers present. I usually have a better and calmer experience here. Carlingwood Mall has plenty of parking around and a wheelchair accessible entrance in the front.

Bought a pair of pants here. I was told that they were made from a designer in Montreal Quebec. I tried them on they are nice. They were "on sale for $70" the associate who served me was coughing all over the place. Didnt even excuse herself for a minute. I bought the pants and saw on the label they are made in China!!! For real ?! The only reason i spent more money was to SUPPORT LOCAL. The associate also told me to wash my pants in vinegar to seal in the color . Dont shop here people.

Have liked this place for a number of years. I have fluctuated sizes (up and down between 9-14) over the years and they always have something that is unique and looks nice. I have an hour-glass figure and it can be difficult to find fashionable and long lasting clothing. Service is always lovely. They always have everything from professional wear to my favourite jean shorts. I simply wish they had more stores in Ottawa. I am willing to drive from the other end of town to shop here.

Every time I go into this Maurices store I’m always greeted almost immediately, very friendly staff. I love Maurices and this is the closest store to me, farthest being Orleans. Definitely recommend this location for great clothing!

Damn shame they've closed so many stores. Used to love going to the Orleans store. Clothing is fun, functional and great for heavier chicks like me who want to cover up fat bellies. They have lots of hippy styles that I love.

Had touble getting around to see the new clothing in store. Could not get to sales rack at all on far wall it is too crowded with racks of clothes. Will have to open up a little for people with walking devices.

Always friendly staff and always has been a very accessible store for those with accessibility devices, I use a walker and have no problem getting around the store and using the change rooms.

I am a plus size shopper and the size of the selection is so small. Limited quantities of choice sizes in that section. The rest of the store is geared to regular sizes and kids.

Staff were so nice and helpful when I was looking for clothing for an interview! When I got home I found this nice encouraging note in my bag. Lovely people and great store!

Good selection of plus size fashion with really nice staff to help. If you can’t find in store, buy on the online store and you can exchange or bring back in store.

I enjoy shopping here. Ivy the manager is friendly. Staff are helpful. Most of my wardrobe is from them. I dont mind the cost. The clothing isnt cheaply made.
