Please do not waste your money on any of the cake that they sell. After explicitly asking the person behind the cash if it’s actually fresh cake and being guaranteed that it is, I return home to find out the cake is frozen solid. I thought it was a joke lol but the joke was yet to come…when I call to complain that my over $7 piece of cake is frozen, they explain how no one else complains that it’s frozen and instead of giving me a refund they can only give me a $5 credit on my account. I think to myself “not even McDonalds expects you to “cook” any of its food items lol The “fresh” frozen cake that thawed on my counter ended up being dry and hard it’s sad to say but inedible. So all in all if you are not from Edmonton and expect to pay money to a food place without having to microwave stale cake-don’t go there haha. Thanks for your $5 credit, Royal Pizza, but I wish you could act properly and at least advertise you sell frozen pizza and the customer must have a microwave to enjoy the over-priced staleness…phew…what a place! I’m out my $2 now and will not return because who knows what else I’ll have to end up cooking at my home that’s listed as “fresh” on your menu.

I would give this location a -0 Star rating if I could. I ordered a gluten free pepperoni and mushroom pizza with extra cheese for my husband because he is Celiac plus a small donair. I was delivered two pizzas but the pizza wasn’t marked which one was gluten free. So we opened the pizzas and my husband ate the one with the extra cheese. I called Royal Pizza to let them know I got a pizza instead of a donair. After three calls back and forth I finally asked to talk to the manager. They said they would give him the message and now this is the next day and I still never got my donair or heard back from the manager. My husband who is Celiac got violently sick that night because he ate the small pizza with extra cheese (which was not marked gluten free) and it is now morning and I have not eaten last nights donair supper. I have not gotten a call back either. Very poor communication with the employees there and the manager obviously does not care about their business. I am not a happy camper.

Moved here in 2016, and have been seeking good pizza ever since. The chain stuff here is terrible, and the non-chain places recommended to me were "meh". Even the highly rated one where I found that despite generous, fresh toppings, the pizza was very bland. I tried Royal Pizza last night, (the Royal Special) and it was a revelation - thick, gooey, yummy pizza like from the mom-and-pop places I remember in my youth. Lots of fresh toppings, lots of good stringy cheese, and a sauce that was well seasoned and zippy. Great crust, too. Nice and thick, cooked through without being dry or burnt. And when you ask for "well done", you get a perfect, even, golden brown top. Was told the pizza would be ready in 25 minutes, and it was ready right on the dot. Super friendly staff, too. These guys will be getting my future pizza business!

Firstly, please don't order from here if you're hungry, unless you want to wait 1.5 hours for food from a store thats 7 mins away. On top of the super long wait time, I ordered pasta from here and was absolutely disgusted. The fettuccine was sour, sauce had a weird gel consistency, and tasted like a ready frozen pasta. Garlic bread was soggy and had little to no garlic on it (basically just toast). Ended up tossing the food out and not gonna bother reaching out for a refund or re-order as I can't see the replacement being anything better. I will not be ordering from here ever again and I do not recommend unless you like having your appetite ruined.

Was looking for a new pizza place an saw the reviews were very good at the Clairview location so we ordered online. We couldn’t order any deserts of the web site for some reason so I ended up calling in directly to get some cheese cake. Christine answered my call and was so helpful. She added on the cheese cake to our order at no charge. Everything was delicious the pizza the wings and especially the cheese cake, she sent two flavours and both were delicious. The order was delivered in under 30 mins and very hot still. We highly recommend the Clairview Royal Pizza. We are ordering there again tonight.

I am from Fort Saskatchewan and our Royal Pizza is closed due to COVID so I was long over due for a Fred’s Special (my absolute favorite pizza) we happened to be going into the Canadian Tire on Manning and I seen a sign on the side of the road that said Royal Pizza now open. So of course I had to find out where it was. Went in to ask how long it would be if I order a pizza and told him how we were just driving into the city and had just seen the sign on the road and our location has been closed due to COVID. He said my little sign on the side of the road I said yes. He was happy to hear that as he had just put them out. He said he would put a rush on our order and even brought it out to our vehicle. Amazing staff and as always amazing pizza!!!

Just got home with a pick up order. We ordered 2 medium gourmet pizzas but they gave us a large and a medium. We mentioned this to the cashier and she refunded us some money , apologized.and told us to keep the large pizza in place of the media . Fair enough. When we got home and started into the pies we realized that neither of them were the ones we ordered ! Both pizzas were only classics, not the more expensive gourmets that we ordered.. Also both were the wrong pizzas. They got our order completely wrong. We love Royal Pizza and we still did enjoy our meal, and the girl who served us was very pleasant but to make mistakes like that is unacceptable. If we go back to this location we will be careful to check our order out before leaving.

I was thrilled when Royal Pizza finally opened a location on the northside. After being a patron for over 30 years. They are famously know for thier pizza. I have been a huge advocate for this franchise. However, at the Brintnell location have I experienced a soggy pizza crust. This is the 3 time this has occurred. (Which indicates the pizza sat under the heater for far too long). The first time, I just thought it was a one off but since it has occurred one than once. I will never order from the Brintnell location, again. Royal pizza is expensive but usually sooo worth it, not from this location. Not to mention delivery always takes more than an hour regardless of the time of order.

Picked up some pizza for dinner from this location today, it was very bright and clean and my pizza was hot and waiting. First time trying the Gluten free and it's too early to know if I'll have symptoms but the flavor is on point! The crust is thin like many other GF options but the toppings and bubbly cheese really make it sing. The other pizza was a original style pep and mush and my other family members loved it. Royal is always a good choice for that bubbly golden top pub style pizza. We will be back.

I had a mix up with location for my order. I have found Royal Pizza frustrating with, will not deliver to my address and I am fairly close, and no address listings on the website for locations and was about to give up. I ordered online, paid and went to pick up the pizza. It was the wrong location. I thought that was that. I was finally done, then I found the best operator who was concerned about customer service and made me the pizza. This was undoubtedly the best experience I have ever had at Royal. I highly recommend this location and will not be going anywhere else. Great job. The food was super tasty and it was so much appreciated.

Absolutely great experience on this order. Every restaurant has their hit and miss moments - usually the food here is great, but sometimes less so than other times - and today’s order was an total hit. Ordered a half Royal Special and half Meat Lovers, and it was AMAZING. Taste was exactly what I was hoping for (and needed today), and the toppings were generous and crust had a nice crunch. Delivery was prompt and the driver was friendly and courteous. Prices are a bit more than other franchises, but you get what you pay for, and Royal is perfect for when you need a special treat. The Britnell location has been great every time I order.

So disappointed we ordered a small Greek pizza, a small donair pizza and boneless chicken wings, The food smelled great but lacked flavor, Both pizzas had no sauce or very little sauce, the donair pizza did not come with the sweet sauce on the as described in the menu and both pizzas also lacked toppings, whoever heard of a greek pizza without feta cheese, and the boneless chicken wings were ok but they could have been tossed in the teriyaki sauce so each piece was coated in the sauce not just drizzling the teriyaki sauce on. Will not be ordering again.

Royal Pizza is my all time favorite place for pizzas.!! Too excited that they are now open in Brintnell community..!! This new location has a dine-in option too which is great. We had vegetarian calzone and vegetarian loaf, the taste was amazing as usual and it was loaded with lots of cheese which I love the most! The staff was nice and friendly, an extra star for customer service! I use the Royal Pizza app which made the whole online order and pickup seamless! Surely visiting this place again :)

One day about 6 years ago my vousin introduced me to the Texas pizza.... now I find that my man also really love the pizza. So we decided no more gross pizzas we can only get royal pizzas. We stopped by here the other day for the first time and it was AMAZING. They didn't skimp on cheese or product like cheaper places! While the prices are a bit high, the quality is out of this world. Everything was absolutely delicious and I really hope the food is this good all the time and not just this once! If it is we will definitely be back! Went to Royal pizza yesterday, good service ..ordered a medium vegetarian pizza and asked for extra fresh tomatoes, and the cashier told us it's going to be extra for toppings and forgot to charge us ...he did tell me this when I went to pick up my order and told me its okay because it was his mistake so he won't charge which I thought was very nice..he's name was Sanketh..very nice guy. Pizza was good and lasagna was ok Nothing special. Overall good experience.

Ordered: Large Meat Lovers (~$27.95), Lasagna with Homestyle Meat Sauce and Meatballs (~$17.50) Comments: Pizza was tasty and had a good portion of meat, but overpriced. Lasagna sauce and overall was very bland,. Meatballs were tasty but likely not handmade as it was quite salty - flavour was complete opposite of lasagna. Conclusion: If there were promotions I may try the pizza again, but likely prefer to try other local pizza restaurants.

It’s been an awhile but decided to try pizza at this location again and I forgot how delicious and tasty the pizza was, great pizza and customer service. My new fave pizza place to go to

Heard the reviews were Amazing for the place. Best pizza on the north side. (Not) Maybe give your head a shake, $57 for 2 large pizzas with hardly any toppings. One of my favorite pizza places! I moved away from the Brintnell neighborhood but still order from here more than I'd like to admit. Perfect amount of cheese and toppings. I try to not eat the crust due to being on keto but end up cheating with this pizza crust anyways...it's worth it. Meat lovers and the Special are fantastic and their pizza subs are amazing too! Great pizza delivered with amazing service! I recently moved into the area, being a pizza fanatic I tried these guys out, and was blown away! Always so polite on the phones, take their time to ensure the order was ok, they've even called me a couple time after I've picked up my pizza for feedback. The employees here care about it, and the food reflects the dedication. Definitely worth a try!!

Disappointed! Had Royal pizza numerous times from the Westend location and enjoyed it. Tried this location today and both of my pizzas were burnt. Spent so much for these pizzas and my kids didn't even eat off. My kids LOVE pizza - and they told me that its better I had gone to Dominos. Long wait time and was very disappointed. First and last visit to this location (4353 167 ave).

Today was the first time we bought a pizza from Royal Pizza . We fell in love with the pizza. We ordered pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms it was so delish. It reminded me of the pizzas I had at Hawaiian Pizza that was at the Rosselyn strip mall back in the 70s. This is going to be our go to place. Thank you for such a delicious pizza and remembering the good old days.

I was very unsatisfied. Delivery time was 65 minutes which I was informed of. Pizza and wings showed up Luke warm, wings were tough and cheesse wasnt warm and melting. I gave it 2 stars because the kids and I still ate it. I've had exceptional experiences with royal pizza but this was definitely not worth the 70$ I paid for 2 medium pizzas and wings.

The food is good but not worth over hour and half wait for 2 pasta dishes. Not impressed. Never ordering from here again. Usually order from here atleast once or 2 times a month and it keeps getting longer for waits. I'll spend my hard earned dollars elsewhere.

I initially had an issue with this location: the manager fixed it, and they reviewed their product in a professional, reasonable, and friendly manner. I respect the heck out of the manager. Ordered a medium ham, green pepper, and mushroom pizza, as well as a Royal Garlic Cheese Loaf. Pizza was excellent. The Garlic Cheese Loaf was burned and no garlic flavor. This loaf should not have been sent out for delivery. Maybe a bit more attention to quality control please. Again, pizza was excellent.

Well, all I can say is WOW!!!! This was hands down the best pizza and pasta we have ever had! The crust was amazing and the spaghetti and meat balls was incredible. This was our first time ordering here and now we won't go anywhere else. Thank you for the fantastic dinner delivered in record time :)

It needs more stars. The place itself, very spartan. But we got to sit and eat. Not easily accomplished with two boys under 10. Food came quick and hot. The young girl behind the counter was on point. She's needs a raise. Good on her.. Smiling, laughing, helpful, listened really well.

Royal pizza has never disappointed us! Always delicious! When we get delivery, our regular delivery person is awesome.

I stopped in at the Royal pizza place on 167th Northwest I know they have only been open for two months but I must say their pizzas and their staff excellent.

Had a large order to feed our staff, pizza was amazing, on time, fair priced and the staff was amazing to deal with. Will definitely order from them again.

I ordered a small cheese pizza for pick and it was absolutely delicious! Stayed hot until I got home. Staff were very friendly. Definitely recommend :)

Very first time ordered a calzone and a ham pizza from Royal pizza, dough was still raw in the middle, would not recommend it. Ham pizza was good

very greasy crust. I was so looking forward to trying this pizza. What a waste. $50 for 2 greasy large classic Pepperoni mushrooms. never again.
