I used to be a frequent shopper at platypus rundle mall. Recently bought a white pair of women’s FILA disruptors and when i arrived home realised that one shoe looked worn and discoloured and the other looked brand new. Naturally, I went in to exchange the shoes for a new pair in brand new condition as this is what I paid for. The lady who served me was helpful but claimed there were none in stock so ordered some to be delivered to my home. Another lady helped her with the order who was extremely rude and not understanding at all. She decided to inspect the shoes thoroughly (which took about 15 minutes, are you kidding?) and asked if i had worn the shoes accusatorially, I said obviously not as the other shoe is clearly in brand new condition. I left the store feeling disheartened with my experience. This should not have happened in the first place. They placed the order and today the shoes arrived- the SAME pair of shoes that i RETURNED to their store!!!! What a waste of effort!! Will not be shopping at platypus rundle mall again- would honestly rather pay more money and not deal with the some of the staff. Thanks for nothing!

I had a really bad experience from this store from service quality to refund policy. I have purchased a pair of shoes (catfootwear) from this store. The staff said that I can get a refund if I feel uncomfortable (they did not explain anything else). The truth is that I received the shoes from shipment after 4 days after the payment. Because this is the online purchase. I need to wear it for several hours in order to make sure that I feel comfortable with it. But the it turns out that I got a sever blister on my feet. Therefore, they wanted to give back to the store to get the refund. But they rejected it by saying that I cannot get a refund with a very bad customer service. The staff even claimed that sometimes they buy a pair of shoes and they get a blister. Is that the way they sell their reputation and service? It's a really bad experience that I purchase a pair of shoes with 80 bucks and I cannot use it anymore because I got blisters when I use it.

I had purchased two pairs of shoes for the first time in a very long time which I was so excited to have been able to find. They were paid for in store to be sent to my house via express shipping and when I hadn’t heard anything or received a tracking number by the end of the week I decided to chase up what was going on. I was then told they had been oversold and conveniently told an email had been sent 20 mins ago informing me of this. I haven’t received one still to this moment. Then I was told I had to return in store to get my refund because they could only issue store credit online further inconveniencing me and my young children without offering any other solution. I do not understand how 6 pairs of shoes could have been a mistake in their system in store but more-so that they didn’t have the courtesy to inform me sooner than they did. Very disappointed shopper who was looking forward to a new pair of shoes.

Short story: Terrible customer service and a complete lack of attention to detail. Long story: Rather terrible customer experience at this store. My partner and I went to purchase a new pair of sneakers, we’ve had great experiences at Platypus in Marion and thought it would be the same at other stores. There was no greeting upon entry, we were the only ones in the store at the time, and were not asked if we needed any help with selecting shoes. We were completely ignored by both staff members until we asked about a particular style and size. They confirmed the sizing again, we purchase the shoes and leave. As it turns out, there are two different sized shoes in the box. A very disappointing experience and purchase, I don’t recommend this store at all.

I walked into this store. It was completely empty and there were 8 team members working. I was not greeted at all. I walked around the whole store looking, picking up and talking to my friend about the shoes. I had seen 2 or 3 pairs of shoes I would've liked to try on in the 5 or so minutes I had been in the store. Still nobody had approached me or my friend, yet they had walked past us. We left the store and went to the platypus shoes store inside the Myer part of the mall. The staff members in this store were much friendlier and went out of their way to ensure all our shoes needs were met!

DO NOT SHOP HERE！ Extremely rude staff and bad policy！ I bought a pair of shoes for my boyfriend as a present few days ago，today we went to the shop and try to swap for a bigger size. At first all the staff in the shop just keep ignoring us，we've been waiting right in front of the counter to be served，after we finally got to talk to the staff，told her our need，she was like“so where's the bag？”and refuse to offer a simple size swap just because of a PLASTIC BAG. The tag was still there and I got the bank transaction history，I purchased the product 2 days ago and they only been tried once.

Extremely terrible customer service from one of a particular staff member. It was a quick shopping, I’ve already got what I’m looking for in mind, ended up buying a pair of runners. During the interaction with the particular staff from beginning to payment (less than 10mins), she showed no emotion, looked uninterested and had no manner. Not even a “thank you see ya“ at check out. This is very rare. I haven’t experienced this level of rudeness when shopping at any store on Rundle mall.

I went to the store to check if they have shoes that I found online and they haven't which was obvious cause they were on sale and I have very popular size. But here was that really nice and helpful staff, who found it for me online, let me try same brand shoes to double check the size to eliminate disappointment, and organise free delivery to my door. Delivery was super fast and package came next day. I'm very happy with my purchase, so 5 stars to you Platypus.

Had a great experience with platypus . The manager at platypus in Rundle mall is so nice . She let me exchange the shoe although I had lost my invoice . But still she manages to deal with situation and atlast she allows me to exchange with any other shoe in the store which is very kind of her . Really appreciate this . Will definitely recommend platypus . They have a great variety of sneakers casual , funky so many styles to choose from :)

10:30am. 20th of Oct 2023 Who ever was on should get a grilling Two of us were coming in to buy a pair of shoes already knew size and style We stood there looking at the shop attendant in plane view and she refused to look at us She moved one thing off the counter which we thought she would come over after that then she went to a mirror started fixing her hair and makeup. Please if you manage this store you are loosing money

The girls at Myer center Platypus was so nice and super helpful. Ashley went out of her way to order a shoe for me from a different store and got it delivered before the date. Was super friendly and chilled. She said that she would be this helpful to anyone and to be honest, this is the kind of customer service that anyone would appreciate! Keep up the good work girls! You guys are awesome! Will be coming again soon!

Customer service here is absolute garbage. Spoke to two different staff about a size 10 asics and after a 40 minute wait I am still waiting to try on my shoes. Staff will nod at your request like NPCs and then proceed to serve others while completely forgetting about your request despite multiple reminders. This store is better off hiring special needs workers and customers will still see better service.

First time l have ordered online with this company. Google searched the product l was wanting to purchase and they had the best price by far. I ordered the product, and with the $10 express postage and handling my parcel arrived within two business days. Really easy to use website and the product was exactly what l had ordered. Very happy. Will shop here again

Great experience at this store today, went in looking for crocs in my size and the guy who served me (docket says Kai) so hopefully that’s the right person.. Was more than happy to help and was super nice/ funny making it a pleasant experience. Thanks again hopefully management can pass on the good feedback. Would recommend this store

best store by far. cool staff, nice selection and they always be pumping some fresh beats. also my favourite store because they have the best selection of supras which is what i buy :D p.s. if you guys at platypus are reading this can you please get more supra colourways and styles in... ive bought the majority of the styles now

I love Platypus. The shoes are comfy and the staff are always super helpful and lovely. I like the quality of their shoes. They have a wide range of shoes in different colours and patterns. I only prefer this shop whenever I have to buy some new pairs of footwear. Will highly recommend this shop!!!

Fantastic customer service. Upon entering the store I was greeted and asked what I was looking for and if I needed any help despite them being pretty busy already (unlike all the other shoe stores). All the people working where friendly and very happy to help me out.

Thank you to the young ladies working yesterday. I went in with my 13 yr old Autistic son. They were very helpful. We bought flip flops. We will be back when you have his sizes in. No offence to the guys who work there usually . Take notes from these young girls.

Not Happy Bought a pair of puma cali wedge last week, got delivered Friday....Open the box and one of the shoes has been worn,extremely dirty and scuffed up. Called up now I have to go put of my way to have them exchange them.Will never buy from here again.....

Went into the store about 3pm and was helped by this lovely brown haired lady (sorry don’t know her name). She was so chilled and patient with me trying on the shoes. Great service and sales. Bought the shoes and wasn’t planning on it …

Staff were great, even though it was busy when we arrived 2 of the staff worked together to get the shoes off site and in the backroom to accommodate our purchases.. nice clean store and good range of shoes.. keep up the good work... :)

Super terrible service! 3 staffs there no one said hello or ask me need help or anything, two girls had eye contact with me and just looked away! Can not believe it, So I didnt try the shoes I wanted just left. This is sad

went to try some sizes on because the colourway I was after was only available online, the man helping me brought out the wrong sizes and when I asked about the fit of the style got very unhelpful and didn't come back out.

I rushed into town to go here because it was going to close in an hour. When I got to the store it was already shut, 50minutes earlier than they should have been.

Super friendly staff, we had to get some new shoes for Black Friday. Platypus has some of the better discounts on Black Friday (for future reference)
