Staff are extremely rude at this store. I have shopped here many times and every time you can see that they have a bad attitude towards customers (esp non-aussies). Yesterday went to shop here with my brother and staff "LISA" was extremely rude to my bro. Unfortunately for Lisa, when she made the comment "this is unreal", she did not realize I might hear it. By the time I could talk to Lisa about this, she had left the store. So when I went to check out, I spoke to the other lady at the cashier explaining what had happened. And instead of apologizing to us, for Lisa's mean behaviour, she kept saying " I know Lisa, she would never do that". On top of this, she kept lying about this whole situation, even though she did not witness what happened nor heard what Lisa said in that situation. This shows that both of them are of the same character and what a disgrace both of them are to such a nice store like Rivers. An advice to the management of this Store: Its high time you employ better staff at Rivers Gepps Cross. I have been shopping here for 4 years now and every time their attitude and behaviour towards customers gets worse. But yesterday was the last straw. There was no need for Lisa or her co-worker to behave that way. Not sure whether Aussies face this issue. But as we are not aussies, and we truly are being discriminated by the staff at Rivers Gepps Cross (esp staff LISA and her co-worker). There is a saying, "Give respect and take respect" - surely this is something these 2 staff at Rivers store clearly do not have. SHAME ON YOU TWO!!

I shopped at Rivers Gepps Cross this afternoon on 18th August 2022 and was greeted with a friendly greeting on entering the Store, which immediately made me feel welcome and was asked if I needed some help. I chose to browse for a bit before I concentrated on my reason for visiting the Store and was approached by the staff member, checking that I could find what I was after and showed me what was available, which didn’t quite match my budget. I asked her name as I was impressed with her Customer Service and Rebecca than suggested she may have exactly what I was after on one of the clearance racks and said she would be happy to look for me, once she’d checked size and colour. Rebecca was the epitome of Excellent Customer Service and with a friendly smile found the perfect jacket to fit both me and my budget. Thank You very much Rebecca ⭐️

Very poor customer service. Given wrong information on prices of shoes on 2 separate occasions by 2 different salesgirls at this outlet. Consequently bought online as same shoes were considerably less according to information provided. Receive faulty shoes (inner sole lifting and scrunching after one day) and get attitude when I return them. The salespeople at this store need training to provide correct information to customers and there needs to be better quality control of products . Poor retail experience.

I pass this store so often on my way home from work, I decided to call in as I would've just usually visted a store in a shopping mall , I'm so glad I called in, the staff were amazing. Nothing better than attentive sales assistants, when I asked for advice the blonde lady (with the gorgeous hair) was so helpful and friendly. I can buy clothes anywhere but if I leave a store happy with the service I'm definitely going back . Oh and the 3 tops I brought were perfect and the shoes are so comfy.

Good value at the moment with their sale. Second time I've been in a few weeks. Was able to get a shirt and a polo top that were cotton/linen and 100% cotton. Also had got a discount as I am a member of their rewards scheme. Bought shirts and sandals their recently also. Happy with everything. Went there again to do work. They always seem to have lots of bargains. Need to be a member to get the discounts. Always worth a visit from time to time.

The store itself was messy. Clothes and shoes all over the place, nothing really in order. Not sure if that was from customers or what. The sizes are true to size which is good and the staff were friendly. She could have used some help though, there was quite a line. They also don't offer bags which I thought was weird. I would have paid for 1. I didn't have a spare with me and bought a lot of stuff but no bag offered.

A hit and miss brand. You will not always get good value for money especially in shoes and T-shirts. Quality in shoes is not that good. Also shirts and T-shirt sizes are so off the chart. Small size in one style will not match small size in another style. So always try before you buy. Have always found staff to be very cooperative, which I guess is the only positive thing about this brand.

I was looking for a particular shoe style for my hubby. Unfortunately they had sold out of the size I needed at the Gepps Cross Rivers. One of the assistants Bec called a couple of stores until she located a pair in the correct size and asked the Elizabeth Rivers store assistant Kaylah to put them aside for me. Thanks for all of your help. Happy shopper.

3.45pm- just got kicked out of the Gepps cross store because apparently that's what time they close??? Despite on the website and on the door it states 5pm closure. The lady working there said 'oh my boss just told me to close now'. Bad business, I had money to spend locally- and they've dipped out. Poor form Rivers Gepps Cross

Always had a pleasant experience and the shoes have always lasted especially being genuine leather at a fraction of the cost of other stores. Much more comfortable too. Very friendly and helpful staff! Cheers to the girls on Thursday night. Even with my teenage daughters trying on so many boots ‍♂️ …

Very bad stuff service because of I buy 2 shoes 15 days before then I want to change 1 pair shoes even I am not use but stuff say we not change because of size different even prices is same so I recommend not going this store look any others store

Great service. Very helpful just now on the exchange I had to make on a click/collect on some thongs & crocs that were the wrong size. Some places can't be bothered looking 'out the back' but the staff on today did so without being asked.

Awesome staff. Had to exchange some shoes I need for Christmas day. I rushed back today Christmas eve at 4.45pm the were closing. They let me in to swap my shoes. Thank you Rivers staff Gepps Cross you are Amazing …

Just went to Rivers & experienced THE NICEST MOST HONEST staff member, Rebecca…. Whoever her boss is needs to give this lady a promotion & pay rise. Couldn’t have been any friendlier or helpful. Will definitely come back.

Poor old Rivers. The entire chain has really let themselves go in the past few years. It might be due to the rise of online shopping? Not sure if their current level of quality will be sustainable in the long-term.

Horrible group of staff. My 3yo was playing with a balloon and a lady staff literally snatched the balloon off of her hand and didn’t even apologise. A real disgrace and shame to the Asian community.

Many discounts. Some things are overpriced and can be found much cheaper elsewhere. Some things I've purchased have shrunk after the first wash. Some purchases I've been really happy with.

After seeing the ad for the 'Huge Summer Savings' I went to the Gepps Cross store only to find it shut 1/2 an hour earlier than advertised online & on the store window. Thanks very much!

Bec was absolutely amazing, down to earth and left not one shoe box un opened in the quest for supreme customer Service. Such an integral part of the Rivers Name.

Online purchase after 2 months no item, Rivers confirmed the purchase and supplied an invalid tracking number. No item no refund no interest in fixing the issue.

A great range of shoes and clothes and they regularly have great sales and specials. Quality not as good as it was 10 years ago but still good value if on sale.

Well worth a visit, especially during one of its sales, which are held regularly throughout the year. Reasonable quality clothing and footwear at good prices.

In GeppsCross Rivers store, The staff Rebecca was strongly disrespectful with her words as well as body language. I Experienced terrible customer service.

I LOVE Rivers. Their clothing fits me well and I am a tall Amazonian woman in statue. Most cloth shops these days are pathetic...Rivers ore the best.

Went in for a quick look while in the area. Had lots of stuff just not what I wanted. Plenty of male/female clothing and shoes

They have a wonderful range of clothes, shoes, accessories & what surprised me was New Balance sneakers at a good price too.

Took elderly mother for shoes and slippers. Quite surprised at the variety they had and also were on sale which was a bonus.

Good variety of clothing and shoes. Most sizes available. Bit hard to move around clothing area as aisles not very wide.
