Other than that the management,who was helpful answering the question the happy young incompetent staff member had no idea about.... Rude staff, vendictive staff. Can't imagine the type of people they will grow up to be. Left my car there to do other stuff after making an enquiry about flea tablets for my dog but not being able to buy them as I needed further info and came back to my car being blocked in on purpose with a pallet they had forklifted behind it. They made me wait an hour to remove it as they said their forklift driver was at lunch and couldn't be contacted. Hmmmm, if u need the spots to yr empty car park so badly, why are u keeping me there for an extra hour?

Been a loyal customer for a long time and a member of petbarn However I don't get how you can go into store and they ask full price for items and then you say but online Petbarn says $50 cheaper for same item ($154 dropped to $104) Then they say ok we will price match As a member you should be offered a better price I think That's a major price difference and I see that as not a good way to treat members asking full price when they can offer the general online customers such a difference

Tried to return a faulty product and was told cos they don't make it i have to call the company who did. Funny cos most shops dont make what they sell yet by law I'm able to return faulty things. The girl who served was unhelpful and obstructionist - she said I should have registered it within 30 days of purchase implying I'm not eligible for refund. I went to the double bay store instead and they just swapped it for a new one - no trouble. Avoid this store

Big store and very easy to access. Small parking lot beside the store. The staff love and know a lot about pet care and animals. The staff member named Ryan is particularly knowledgeable and caring. My poodle has epilepsy and can't have chicken or egg products and Ryan supports me with my purchases. The store is open fairly long hours so its great that I can go early or late when the store is quiet and parking lot is nearly empty. Highly recommend.

Animal Cruelty !! I visited as usual to buy cat litter to find a poor 6 week old kitten restrained on a leash at the check out!! It was crying and NOT happy. This distressed me immensely. This is unacceptable to use a kitten as a "shop cat" from such a young age.... even if it is being fed etc. The cold environment is not suitable. And it should NOT be a "plaything" for visitors ! I hope someone gives it a proper home.

Very friendly service....however... I went in to get a specific all-round treatment for my dog, (Nexgard Spectra 3 mths) , found that their one and only box was empty. I had no choice but to purchase an inferior product for $20 more. Wasn't offered a discount, just a stock standard apology. Even though it's my local Petbarn, I'd rather travel further away to get the same level of service I give my customers

I don't know about others, but this Petbarn is nice. The staff is friendly and the cat treats, delight. So if you love pets like many of us to do, swing by Petbarn and pick yourself up a Kangaroo.* *To my knowledge live kangaroos are not available for sale on the premises. Nor as I have been told several times are kept anywhere near the shop (particularly at night).

A fantastic place to go and buy things for your pet or adopt a new cat or a fish! The staff are very helpful and tell you exactly why you needed help with. With various products it a great place to go to! However, there aren't that many car parks so if you're going on a busy day you may have to find another place to park. Otherwise, this is a great pet store!

Matthew and Rauri were super helpful and very genuine in helping me find the things i needed to find. These two young men and their customer service, make a good day. Staff is AWESOME, kind, knowledgeable, and are always cheerful! The manager even dealt with a disgruntled customer who came in with patience, and more professionalism than I would have shown this rude person. Enquiring about the kitten because we were looking to adopt. Staff wasn’t helpful at all and quite rude. when I asked one of the staff about it she just said “ No. he will stay in his condo”. I understand it’s unfair to be passing the kitten around like the other staff said but we were looking to adopt. There’s a big difference.

Great staff, products and location! All Petbarns has actually a really high consumer service standards but the only problem with the store in Bondi Junction is parking which is small and hard to find a spot. If you need to park in the street you'll pay unfortunately.

Petbarn bondi junction provides a friendly and helpful supply of pet supplies. Weathet you need dog food, a new heat lamp for a reptile or a budgie cage they hsve you covered. The lines are short, parking is easy and they have never been out of stock in my experience

I liked how they let me take the bag of dog biscuits back when my dog didn't like it. They just gave me another premium bag and that did the trick. I've actually had a good experience with the staff here. They have always been quite nice and helpful.

Really nice place with friendly staff but the Betta fish display is a sad sight with fish dying in tiny glass cubes. They get extra points for keeping some Betta fish in the aquariums and they look extremely healthy.

Easy to find parking on weekday afternoon and staff offered to help carry stuff to my car. But prices in store are higher than click & collect and delivery prices displayed on their website.
