PHASE 1: Scheduling Appointment and Accommodations: The office was very easy to communicate with (i.e. text, calls, and emails). It was a matter of sending some pictures, current x-rays (if you have them), and discussing your ideal dental repairs. I do recommend you discuss the total estimate prior to making your decision. Remember, there will be exam fees as well as imaging necessary for most procedures. Make sure if you have insurance that the exam codes are covered (the office will help you with your claim afterward). After deciding to go with Perfect Smile--based off of Google Review and their professionalism exhibited via communications--they set up a reasonably fast appointment date as well as the hotel and shuttles. The trip was a simple 25-minute App share ride from San Diego and a 10-minute walk on foot through the border then viola! Tijuana baby! The shuttle was awaiting me and took me straight to the hotel, Lucerna, which was highly recommended by Dr. Maricela and did not dissappoint. PHASE 2: Implant Surgery: The day of the implant surgery I was whisked off directly from the hotel to the privacy of their office. I was greeted by a friendly staff and the atmosphere was that of any caliber seen in the USA; all of the equipment was new and the ambiance very clean and welcoming. 0900 sharp they jumped right to business: CT scan, full dental x-rays, and some comprehensive 2d photographs. If you were worried about sterile technique and infection, don't worry, everything came in sterile packaging and care was taken not to break the field. My periodontist was a young, diligent lad who took extra precaution during the drilling and used CT guided precision to map the whole process. I had zero swelling and minimum pain thereafter. I was given great care and an easily understandable after-care plan which included 4 different prescriptions. The next day you can opt to get it checked, and day three they will email you to make sure you are well. Simple, stress-free. (Of note, they use Nobel titanium implants which are Swiss made and top of the line as well as CAD-CAM created crowns all of which are the SAME at most top of the line offices in the USA) PHASE 3: Crown placement: ....we'll check back in 4 months

My son needed two dental implants, two of his front teeth did not form, therefore they would never grow in. After braces, he was left with a retainer and two fake teeth added to it. Until he turned 19 and only then he could get dental implants put in, according to multiple dentist, they must wait until after 19 to do the implants due to growth. We had multiple visits to different dental places, we got a few quotes, prices for implants are very costly, any dental procedure in the U.S is extremely costly. I had always heard about people going to Tijuana for dental procedures, so I decided to do my research, after reading many reviews and looking at different dental implant clinics in Tijuana, I decided to go with Dr. Espinosa, I reached out, they respond almost immediately. My son and I had a zoom consult with the doctor and his team, pictures were sent over and we discussed the procedure and prices before making the drive out to Tijuana from Los Angeles. His staff is very cordial and attentive. Once my son’s implants are put in and his smile is perfect, I’ll upload a before and after picture. We are both very excited and can not wait to see the final result una few months.

It’s been a couple weeks now since I got my finals and completed my journey at Perfect Smile dental in Tijuana and the results are amazing. I started my journey a little bit skeptical of going to Mexico, but chose Perfect Smile, because of their good reviews and because how far back the reviews went. I knew that they were not a pop-up dentist. I really appreciate it how friendly and attentive, both Dr. Espinoza and his staff are. They answered all of my questions (which were numerous), and never gave me any additional or hidden fees. I paid for my procedure and that’s all I had to ever give them. I was really impressed that they performed Plasma therapy which really sped up the process of the healing. it’s been longer than I can remember since I have been able to chew food and it is such a great feeling to not have to worry if I can eat what is in front of me. This place is amazing! I haven't been paid anything or given any discounts for my review but when I say they are amazing, I mean it. I had read all of the reviews & still was a little apprehensive but I had 3 video consults to answer all of my questions and make me feel more at ease. Juan picked me up right across the border and from the minute I met him I felt better. Priscilla, Dr. Erick and all the staff were great. Very professional and thorough. Dr.Erick and his assistant made sure I had no pain and kept making sure I was OK. I had 7 teeth removed, implants on lower jaw, and a top partial. It was a very long procedure but worth it. If you are looking for a good place to have your work done in Mexico, look no further. Side note...there prices can't be beat!!! I have been researching places for a year and the way they include all your work together instead of pricing out everything separate, made things much easier.

Began my 2.5 week adventure flying from Canada to San Diego and a short trip Tijuana with nothing but kindness, profession, caring staff. The office was extremely high tech and clean. They paused anytime I had questions and took time to answer them all. I was hesitant when this all started, but quickly changed my mind and enjoyed my choice to come here. Never have I felt so taken care of and treated as an actual person and not just a paying client. As for the work I got done, I received a 5 on top 4 on the bottom full reconstructive work. The pain from the full top and bottom teeth removal was nearly none existent, needed to take 2 pain pills the next day. Money well spent and would recommend Perfect Smile Dental to anyone.

I had a cleaning done yesterday here in the US and was happy to hear from a dentist and her assistant that they were impressed with the implant. I am sure no patient enjoys any dental procedure, but I will say I felt at ease knowing I had a professional, friendly, and competent team on my side. Dr. Espinosa has treated me with implants twice. Both times were extremely painless (relative for dental work) and worked for many hours to fit complicated surgeries into a single day. He and his staff are super friendly and professional. I felt like I was in good hands the whole time. Their team made the price and time to travel extremely worth it. If I ever have to get teeth pulled in the future, this is the place I’ll go.

This place is a rip off.. I was there 6 times from 2021 and they still have not put in my implant.. Do not give them full payment as they will take the money and run leaving you toothless like me.
