In spite of having a female owner this place has not heard of #timesup, and has ZERO social conscience. Female staff working in the shop make %20 LESS than males, in spite of experience. New male staff are given opportunities for advancement, while female staff are treated like janitorial staff. Equity in opportunities, advancement, and PAY -NON EXISTENT!!!! They claim all their products are made "in-house." They aren't! Many items are shipped from Asia (cheap) and are then finished in-house, with about a %250-300 mark up, minimally. The "upstairs, downstairs" attitude, and nepatism are RIDICULOUS. If having a social conscience is important to you, while you spend thousands, if not tens of thousands; this is NOT the place for you. Decency is a concept that need to be explained, IN DEPTH, to these people.

Their talented, friendly and knowledgeable sales staff have the detailed product knowledge to provide me with on-point recommendations for all of our decorating projects. Best of all, if they don't have exactly what I want, they can help me design and build custom pieces to suit our client's specific needs. Their impeccably styled showroom offers so much inspiration every time I visit - which is often. I highly recommend visiting their showroom if you are in need of home furnishings or just some interior design inspiration.

I cannot say enough about once a tree and their incredible customer service, let alone the quality of their products. We ordered a bed, and a few months later the bed arrived with a very skilled, respectful and pleasant crew. Long story short, we had some minor preference issues with the headboard and after multiple visits trying to fix the issue, they offered to exchange the bed for one that suits us better. A few months after that (the beds are made to order), we received our new bed and it was perfect. Throughout the whole process every person we encountered went above and beyond to make sure our experience was great. Both beds are of exceptional quality and we are very happy customers!

I highly recommend Once a Tree Furniture. They offer an exceptional variety of quality-made products and their customer service is bar none the best I have ever received. Patty Isada went out of her way to help me select the right furniture for my new home and was always so patient in dealing with me! I am so pleased with my new Lee Industries sofa sectional (so comfortable!) and glamorous Mitchell and Gold melrose coffee table. Plus, they also offer custom made furniture, all made right here in Vancouver! Their owner Daphne has done a great job in building this business and I encourage anyone looking for quality furniture for their home to visit this store.

We ordered a coffe table, when it's expected date of finish passed I called our sales lady to inquire. I was told because of logistics it would be delayed 2 months. OK fine but why did I have to call, personally when your spending almost $4000 I would have thought customer service wise they should have called me. Time passed and I thought because of the delay they should throw in the delivery free of charge. So I called again only to find out they will in fact include delivery. Again why didn't they call me on a customer service projective. At that point we canceled our order. Terrible customer service for the prices they are charging.

This place is the full meal deal from furniture to design consulting. I moved at the beginning of the pandemic and desperately needed new furniture. Well, the team at OAT moved decisively telling me what I needed and how it would fit in with what I already had. Through a series of safe facetime calls and emails, it has come together. AMAZINGLY. My place looks like it could be in a design magazine. Daphne, Diane, Scott....you are the best in this city. What I also love is that there are Canadian made options so you're not only supporting a local business, you are supporting Canadian designers.

Got a great coffee table done here. We needed a square shape (45x45") and tweaked an existing design they had on the floor to accommodate the dimensions we needed, plus we added a glass insert. The designe who helped us was helpful and prompt with his design sketches and communications. We got it when promised, you do have to wait for custom furniture. Beautiful quality (solid wood) and great, classic design at a very reasonable price. We were very happy with the result. Great store!

wow, that is a 5 Stars service. My armchair was a little wobble , I called "ONCE A TREE"- and they came pick it up Thurday morning ,and by Saturday morning , was deliver back to my place just like promised .

We first shopped here in 1993. Back again and so happy to referbish the old and add a little new. Thanks to Daphne Nielsen 1st choice
