So, purchased a bedroom suite on the 4th October 2020 I was told it would be about 6 weeks. total $3000 Called 6 weeks later and then told end of Feb 21. Called end of Feb 21 and told end of the week or end of March 21 Called beginning of March for an update and still no news Each time I asked for someone to call me back and no one ever did. No matter how many times I called and asked for a return phone call. When I did speak with a rep, they had told me that they had been sending me emails updating me. When I asked what email they were sending it to, they had the wrong email and the wrong name, even though it was correct on the invoice. And the "emails" was only 1 email. Beginning of May I get a call from the Manager asking for the balance of payment. Yep they called but only to get their money and they called several times asking for my credit card details over the phone. I explained due to their lack of professionalism so far, I was a little dubious about giving those over the phone. I asked for paypal details to be sent to my email so I would have some sort of security. I also wondered, if I payed the balance if I ever would see my order. I really did think there for a while that I had done my dough, especially when I saw the Auburn store had closed They sent emails but none had paypal details only a copy of the invoice. I sent several requests asking for this info and either got no response or the same generic email. Two weeks later they called asking for payment. I found out they had been sending the paypal details to the wrong email account even though i spelt it out for them on my emails to them. So I end up paying and was told your shipment has left Sydney and expect a call soon about delivery time and date. I explained I needed as much notice as possible as there was some furniture shuffling to do including a piano. A week passes and no news. I ask for the removalist company that was doing the transport and contact them (Seal rocks removals) and still no response. About a week and half later, I get a call from the removalist saying we will be there in 90 minutes! On a weekday in the early afternoon so lucky I had a day off work. So to summarise, I received my order seven months later!!! Six weeks of that the items were sitting in Sydney before they even told me they arrived. The furniture itself is passable, but every piece wobbles and has to be chocked. No its not our floor, I checked. Its pretty poor quality for the price. I had surplus pieces sent, staples sticking out of some parts, screw holes that didn't line up, bent runners on drawers, door catches that didn't line up and I ended up replacing. And when we purchased they had two promotions going, one for 10% off for purchases over $200 and another for free bedding. We got neither. So if you don't mind waiting, no customer support, false advertising in regard to promotions and wonky furniture, go ahead. Otherwise RUN AWAY. There was ample bad reviews on productreview and Google reviews about their Auburn store before they shut it down. It will only be a matter of time before this Prospect store has the same number of bad reviews relating to the same problems ****And to the Manager**** If you wish to respond to this, disputing my contact with the store, I'm more than happy to upload the notes I made on when I called, who I spoke to and their responses. And I still have the flyers offering the promotions at the time of my order that I never got. If you have details of our interactions and times and dates, I encourage you to upload those as well as long as you take out my personal details. IN RESPONSE FROM THE OWNER BELOW If you are attempting to say there is no link between you and the Auburn store I purchased from and has since closed down, nice try. Tell me then why If you only opened on April 2021, you took my final payment in May 21 for an order I made in Oct 20 when your store wasn't even opened. . Tell me why I spoke to the same Manager and sales assistants after ringing the Prospect number if your aren't the same company

WHAT I PURCHASED: 2 bookcases ORDERED ON: 11TH Jan 2014 from Blacktown Store, told that usually ships in 3-4weeks DEALT WITH: Mostly Craig, Gary & other staff over the phone. ISSUES EXPERIENCED: Close to 4mth delay to receive goods, told that they had changed suppliers twice, no phone calls from store to let me know what was happening, found I was the one who had to constantly chase up the store to find out where things were up to. On two occasions - told I would receive a call back and I didn’t, instead had to call back and another time sent an email. Store contact numbers ring out, hard to reach and some numbers appear to be managed by o/seas call centre. Found I had to constantly ring the main sales number and just keep trying throughout the day until someone answered. Overall, big delays, lack of communication and customer service, hard to contact and get answers & unfilled promises. RECEIVED GOODS ON: 26 April 2014 finally! Delivery guys were quite pleasant & helpful, they rang me and left a voicemail message and also sent me a SMS to re-confirm delivery & estimated time the night before, also responded to a reply SMS I sent them promptly. On the day of delivery, they turned up as they had stated in the specified time. Can't fault the delivery guys 10/10 for them! STATE OF GOODS RECEIVED: were wrapped in plastic on arrival, ,overall quality & workmanship was ok but I wouldn’t say it was perfect, they had imperfections which you could see, the main one was each bookcase had a 3cm rough crack which had been fixed up and painted over. Normally, I would have complained and had them replaced, but honestly after waiting so long, couldn’t be bothered with going through all the stress to have them returned and replaced. I could only imagine the dramas I would have if I tried. UNFILLED PROMISE: When my goods finally had come in, I was told Craig was on holidays and dealt with Gary instead. I told him I had been waiting so long for my goods to come in. He promised that he would throw in 3 free pillows and a mattress protector for the long wait I had experienced when my goods got delivered, well guess what, NO FREE STUFF was sent. OTHER REVIEWS ABOUT MY FURNITURE STORE: check out "Product Review site" I believe they are true and a real reflection of customers experiences and have been exactly what I have experienced, if the reviewers were really happy with their purchase, then they must have been extremely lucky, as most reviews speak for themselves. I am sorry that I didn't read the review here & on product review site before purchasing. I can only hope things will improve and others won't experience what I and others have been through. WOULD I PURCHASE AGAIN FROM "MY FURNITURE STORE": No, I have no confidence in this store and would never recommend them to family or friends. I am hoping that “my furniture store” will read my review and take away my feedback as well as other reviews which customers have left. They need to get their act together if they want to stay in business. I am an understanding and patient customer and I know that issues do arise and although the staff were never rude to me when I did follow up, they need to invest in customer service, the first thing is, they need to talk to their customers, be proactive, don’t hide behind emails, avoid calling back and not answering their phone lines, be upfront and let your customers know realistic delivery times and communicate with them about what is happening with their goods. Yes some customers, you will never be able to please and will be upset about delays etc but others will understand if they took the time to respect and keep them informed. I appreciate it’s hard to run a business, but remember the way you treat your customers goes a long way in the survival of any business. God, can only hope "My Furniture Store" gets this concept and does something to change it's ways!

Worst experience and the most unorganised, dishonest people you could ever come across. Only gave 1 star so I could write this and let people know and beware. My husband and I found a bed on eBay. Took the price, screen shot and print out to my furniture store as they claim to beat prices by 10%... not true. The first price (my husband had to argue and inform staff of their discount policy) was ridiculous and less than $100 off. We asked the rude sales person who was on phone and doesn't look at people when they talk to speak to manager and staff claimed he wasn't in.... we didn't know it till we came in next time that the manager was there the whole time. Meeting manager and After negotiating and showing proof several times he claimed the bed couldn't be that price and we falsified it. He enquired himself and our price was right. He still refused to give discount arguing the manufacturer was at fault. After days of waiting and B.S prices and showing great deals from other stores we came to agreement as he promised an amazing deal on mattresses. We did get a good deal once my husband made it clear store didn't honour it's policy. We were told 7-10 days and the bed would be ready for pick up... at least 2 weeks later, we didn't hear a thing so we rang one of the many numbers on the card with no answer. The lady we finally spoke to said she had no idea and to go instore we said it's been 2 weeks were on the way to get the bed either way. Got there and the order was wrong. After being made to wait weeks with no contact we insisted free delivery as it was stores fault. Manager went on to blame the lady who processes the orders from paper reciept to computer order, calling her slow and constantly making mistakes saying " well i cant just yell at her, she is always doing it, i will always be screaming". He wanted to keep all reciepts during this. another few weeks later no email or call. Tried calling every number on the card given not one was answered and we finally got the 1300 number and it's a random call center that takes messages for them( we left 4 and never got 1 call back). 3 months later after constant calls and no response we finally get an email saying Enzo will call you with delivery details.... No call, No Enzo, again nothing. So after 3 months of us calling and no response, getting emails for delivery and no follow through we went to the store and demanded a refund. Manager argued saying it's "Enzo fault I give him work and he doesn't do it". He called Enzo and left a rude message for him. Manager tried to talk over us and push us aside. He blamed everyone else for the mistakes and kept trying to push beds and mattresses and aussie made products from struggling Italians on us. Always avoiding the refund part. We had to argue and make a scene and turn to customers and warn them infront of the manager and his deceit infront of him get anywhere. He finally agreed to give refund but didnt want to refund the part we paid on EFTPOS and wanted bank details and to keep all the reciepts hand written and printed, almost snatching it from my husband, we kept the reciepts. We were told 24 hrs a refund would be in.... lie. As we were leaving the manager said "the beds in the back, I can get it to you now". We said No just give us our money. He manager started complaining now he is stuck with 3 mattresses and a bed.... Not our problem. 3 months later, rude staff, dishonesty, lies and refusal for a refund, no contact and several mistakes we don't anything to do with this place. No one takes responsibility and will blame others and talk ill of them to customers. Worst morals worst people worst place. Really Go talk to fantastic furniture, same quality, and if you negotiate they really do look after you and won't just try take your money.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS STORE. THEY HAVE NO REGARD FOR QUALITY OR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I purchased a wardrobe (for my soon to arrive baby's nursery) from the Auburn store on the 10.1217; it was paid in full on the 26.12.17. After experiencing issues with the order not being followed (additions were made to the wardrobe at an additional expense, which the Manager, Craig Mendel) it was delivered on the 03.02.18 – 3 weeks after it had been due, as a result of Craig failing to accurately complete the order (it was not made as per the order, so had to be re-sent to the warehouse). I dealt with very poor customer service during this process. Upon delivery, it was observed that the wardrobe was missing doorknobs on each door (3), and the door hinges for one of the cupboard doors were broken. I contacted the store immediately; I spoke with Elaine who initially asked to have the delivery drivers retrieve the wardrobe; I advised of my concerns with this causing further delays/inconveniencing me, requesting confirmation that the doorknobs were in store to collect, as well as to obtain a partial refund. Elaine advised me to send an email to the 'warehouse', providing me with an email address, attaching photographs/description, and that I would be contacted that afternoon. I was not contacted, and phoned the store on the 05.02.18, raising my concerns with Craig; he advised that he “had a quick look” prior to the wardrobe being loaded into the truck, obviously ignoring the fact that it was faulty/incomplete. I was informed that I was provided with the incorrect email address by Elaine, and as such, it had not been reviewed. I was told to re-send the email to an alternate email address. The email response received included unfinished sentences/provided no assistance whatsoever, so I phoned the warehouse to discuss. I was told that the repairs department would contact me to arrange a time to attend my home and repair the damage/doorknobs. I provided a further email reply requesting confirmation by COB on the 06.02.18 as to when this would be repaired, also stating that I would be escalating this to NSW Fair Trading. I attempted to phone the store several times with no answer on 3 different numbers, finally getting through to an answering machine, requesting an urgent call back. I did not receive any returned contact for over 1 week. I therefore lodged a complaint with NSW Fair Trading and sourced a carpenter to repair the hinges. I am yet to obtain a response in regards to obtaining a partial refund for the faulty product that was delivered.

I ordered 2 very large bookcases over the phone on 28th August, 2021. I was asked to pay in full $5148.00 immediately. I was told the bookcases would be delivered in 25 to 35 days and reassured that this would be the case despite Covid etc. Obviously, we have all been living with Covid and lockdowns for a long time now so I was very happy to proceed with the order knowing that the company had organised production around these issues (I assumed the furniture was pre made and just needed to be painted) and the book shelves could still be delivered in 25 to 35 days As 25 to 35 days was a reasonable time frame, we left all of my art equipment and over 20 cartons of books and many other items that would be going in the book cases in our garage...and we left our cars outside. After 35 days I called to check which day the bookcases would be delivered and was told it was 25 to 35 days into their store...not delivered to my address but that they would be into store Saturday and delivered to me the following week. I called the next Saturday and was told they were due into store the following Saturday. This went on and on and on and on and on. I was lied to constantly. I was finally told that they would begin BEING MADE weeks after they were due to be delivered. Had we been told a realistic and honest date from the company, we would have moved all the books and art equipment to a large empty room upstairs so we could park our cars in the garage. A huge hail storm hit damaging our cars which were STILL parked outside thanks to My Furniture Store lying about the timeframe they could deliver the furniture in. This caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to our vehicles and if they are written off, which seems likely, we will be at least $50,000 out of pocket after the insurance claim to replace them. All because My Furniture Store lied...and lied and continued to lie. Of course My Furniture Store are not responsible for the weather BUT THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR BUSINESS CULTURE OF LYING. Then...to top things off, they made one of the book cases in the wrong colour and insinuated that it was my fault as I had changed my mind!! I have all the paper work I signed off on and I definitely did not change my mind, my order never changed. I have cancelled the order but they refuse to refund my money so I have submitted a complaint to The Office Of Fair Trading. This company is DODGY. They LIE to you over and over again. Do NOT BELIEVE a WORD they say. If they say something will take 35 days, add a 0 and make it 350 days!

They blame Covid19 but took my money even though they assured me my delivery on Saturday. Also won't provide evidence products are Australian made They refuse to refund my money & give bogus delivery dates which never evantuate. The only way to get your money back is lodge proceedings at the NSW Civil & Administrative Tribunal. Follow up to owners comments You appear incapable of being honest. I love the effort you put into my google review however everything you said is again more lies. I've repeatedly requested a refund each time you refuse. No one disputes the impact of COVID-19 and lockdown measures. Nonetheless, you took my money and then kept changing dates of delivery. I requested evidence of your claim that your products are Australian made and what%. You advised that you would send an email but had no intention of doing so. It's pathetic that you're putting more effort into maintaining a good online image which doesn't exist in reality. This matter could be easily solved by refunding my money. How many times do I need to ask? Instead you bunker down add more lies on top of other lies. You have lost all credibility to make any comment that would make me believe you. I don't believe your words are worth the air they are spoken into. You claimed yesterday over the phone that you will be using the proceedings at the NCAT Tribunal (which I initiated) as a "test case" Meaning you are hoping that you can lawfully take ppls money and not provide products to customers. Essentially that is theft. You take advantage of NSW citizens during a global pandemic - I may contact media outlets and you can tell them how you conduct business. I refuse to be bullied by the likes of you That's how you engage with customers. That is how he operates people. He is a consummate liar. Look at other reviews all these people are not making it up. You deserve to be deregisterered as a business. Seriously, mate just refund my money. I've already lodged proceedings in one jurisdiction, do you really want the Govt to step in? Outcome: After I lodged NCAT proceedings they finally refunded my money. Fkn dirty grubs

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Broken, defective furniture and the worst, most dysfunctional customer service you've ever dealt with in your life. The bed I ordered was supposed to arrive after 2 weeks (which I confirmed over the phone when I paid for it). It did not show up. I had to call the company pretty much every other day for another 2 weeks to chase it up. Every time I called I spoke to someone different and they never had a clue where the bed was or when I would get it. They would promise to 'check with the warehouse and call back' but they never called back. Finally Craig (who seems to be the only competent employee) helped me out and the bed arrived. However, it was defective in multiple ways. A slat was missing, as well as multiple screws that (according to the directions) were meant to exist. The metal fixtures which secure the corners of the bed together were severely warped and wouldn't fit, meaning the bed corners couldn't be joined. And the centre rail was inexplicably short, so that when it was on the floor it couldn't reach the underside of the bed and would just fall over. At this point I tried calling My Furniture Store again to have replacement parts sent. They refused to help me, said it was an issue with the manufacturer and told me to speak to them. The manufacturer (GL Furniture) refused to help, said I needed to go through My Furniture Store, and hung up the phone on me. I tried multiple times to call them back and was ultimately unsuccessful in speaking to anyone from either company who would assist me (I did ask for Craig but was told he was unreachable). They also did their favourite trick of promising to call me back when they had more info and then never calling me back. In the end I had to hire a contractor to fix the bed because I wasn't able to get any kind of recourse from My Furniture Store. Then a week later (without anyone ever calling me back) another bed slat and another centre rail arrived in the mail... which was just as freakishly short as the first centre rail. To make a long story short - DO NOT SHOP HERE!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! This is a copy of the email I sent the company. It is self explanatory. Extremely poor service. I found that a fairly simple process was complicated by a lack of communication between each of you, the factory and me, the customer. I had to keep calling and emailing you to find out any information about my order, only to find that you had not completed my order within the 6-8 weeks that was promised and instead it taking almost 3 months. The reason being that it was not communicated to the factory the correct requirements, therefore it was built wrong. Then the correction that was meant for the factory to rebuild the robe was not sent to the factory, delaying it another week. If I had not followed this up diligently I would still be wondering where my order was. So finally the order was completed correctly and booked for delivery. Alan although being a lovely man, really should not have been the delivery person. A 75 year old man alone to delivery a large wardrobe in a small van was bad enough. His van broke down and I had to get help and try to push start his van. He then called the NRMA and whilst waiting he wanted to unload the wardrobe and wheel it on a trolley up the street to my house. Mind you he could not unload it from his van alone. I found myself being subcondered to physically unload it with Alan. Then the NRMA arrived and I found myself pushing his van again to get it started. Finally when the second part of the robe was unloaded by Alan and myself he could not get it into place inside my home. I had to get one of my neighbours to assist. I find this manner of delivery totally unacceptable and certainly not in a manner that a company could call delivered and very unprofessional. I have in this process injured my back. Word of mouth is a powerful thing and your company will not be getting a good review from me. My order number was 29488 so that you can't say I don't exist. I'm a 65 year old woman and I have never in my life had a cause to say anything bad about anyone until NOW!

We went to the shop on 9th/ Nov looking for a dining table set with 6 chairs. Before processing an order of the table set, we asked them how long it will take to be delivered as we wanted to have a new dining table set before Christmas. One of the Sales representative's told us it would take 3-4 weeks. We chose the colour amongst available options and ensured if we could receive the table set before Christmas. He was so confident to guarantee that the table would be delivered on time and a table in the colour we chose was available from the factory. After discussion we put in the $500 deposit. The following day, we received a call saying that the table in that colour was not available at the time and we'd have to wait till Jan/Feb. The sales staff gave us the option to choose a different colour/refund/or wait longer for the colour we wanted. We asked for the refund and he advised us to submit our refund request with their accounts team. This is where the problems started.... We emailed the accounts team and even double checked with them if they got my email. But We did not receive any confirmation or gave us no acknowledgment advising our order will be refunded. Days then weeks past and no answer. When trying to follow up the sales staff told us they would call us back with answers or talk to the accounts team. It seems like they just mocking around and trying not to take any responsibility regarding the refund. No return calls, no updates. Our conversations with the staff would say the accounts team is "not in today", "Busy with Another Customer". After many times of calls, FINALLY 15TH OF JAN WE GOT OUR MONEY BACK !! IT TOOK US 3 MOTHNS !! 3 MONTHES!! of cause , there is no apologies. !!Warning!! DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THE STORE!!

DISGUSTED I purchased 3 items, a tallboy and 2 bedside tables. They came quickly and I was happy until I went to pick them up... The tallboy was damaged so I did not collect the items. When I contacted the sales support team to inform them that I was not picking up a damaged item they weren’t too happy or accommodating that I had an issue with the item. The sales representative advised she would contact the warehouse manager and get a replacement made within 4-6 weeks!!! I advised had I needed to wait 4-6 weeks for the item I would not like to keep it and asked for a refund. She then proceeded to inform me that they could get one in 2 weeks or she would call me back to which I didn’t hear from her. One week later I received a short rude email saying that my items were ready for pick. I went and picked them up today to which they were all covered in bubble wrap so I couldn’t see if it was a new one and the damage had been fixed. Once I got home I unwrapped the bubble wrap and low and behold the damage had be ‘patched up’ rather poorly also!!! You can see the patch job they did and the quality of the piece is terrible!!!! I have ended up with half painted furniture(the back and insides are just wood!), chips on the legs, some pieces cracked, visible pen marks under the one coat of white spray paint, black finger marks all over them!!! Also, to add insult to injury they gave me the wrong knobs! Don’t do it!

I bought a piece of furniture from these guys about a year ago and am only posting this now as I've received three emails from them in the past week to post a review. After initial payment online, there were no follow ups or updates on delivery and I had to chase them up multiple times to get a delivery date. About a month later, a piece of furniture was delivered but it was not the furniture I'd ordered. Multiple calls and emails to them resulted in nothing being done. No indication that they will fix their mistake by picking up the furniture I did not order and replacing it, no offer for a refund. It was only after we'd threatened to take legal action did they offer concrete steps towards fixing their mistake. The whole thing took more than a month. To be clear, it wasn't the length of time taken that was frustrating, rather it was the complete lack of information provided throughout the process. Calls were not returned and emails were only responded to after multiple follow ups. When someone did respond to our calls or emails, they were unable to provide information on next steps and unable to point me towards someone who can. It was only after weeks of trying did we finally get through to the one person who seemed to know what they were doing. We got our furniture in the end but I'd never buy anything from them again. This was the most painful online experience I've had thus far.

Should have negative or very bad , Stay away from this place and don’t waste your time and money with myfurniturestore, I ordered cabinet was charged extra for shipping than normal and very expensive shipping and item came broken, and was told by transport crew if I would like to accept and you will get fixed or reject which I rejected and no one from myfurniture store contacted and I have sent multiple emails no reply and I have to call 2-3 times a day and will get reply will call you back and when I requested to contact sales person they forward the calls to payment system number and everytime no message was passed and if you leave a message for product enquiry from different number message is passed and it was multiple occasions they decline the calls knowing my number and when changed no caller ID instantly picked and it took 2 weeks for them to decide and when I said I will require refund I was said it will 30%cancellation charges after 6 weeks of hassle and had to wait for another 3 weeks more for my item and paying $175 for shipping I will expect them to drop where I need in house and was told not allowed and they can only drop near door and didn’t take any rubbish or assembly which I have to take care of it afterwards( with assembly I can understand) but leaving at front door only. Even product quality doesn’t match product described. Avoid this company.

Worst company ever dealt with. Most pathetic service. I should have read the reviews here before dealing with this company. Don't go by the sales persons words. Get everything in writing. Have them put a clause that if there is any delays then the company to bear the cost and pay penalty). Ordered a custom build Kitchen Buffet in January and was told the delivery will be in 4 weeks max 6 weeks. The delivery will be only be done this week after messing up the order multiple times. Almost late by 3 months. After 2 months delay they show the product which is not to standard. First they put the shelf as fixed after telling us that the shelf is adjustable and removable. Then they mess the paint. Then after another more than a month delay it is ready for delivery. This item was to be used for a religious purpose in mid may and it was not delivered by then. The person even did not have the courtesy as a goodwill to reduce the cost. If this was not for religious purpose i would have lodged a complaint to fair trading and cancelled the order, but i did not have time due to the function where i needed this item. (Even then it got delayed- my function finished on 21st and now the delivery is to be done sometimes this week). Just beyond words how much frustration, mental distress, anger this company and people working there has caused.

I ordered a bed and a lounge from here. I didn't get any confirmation that I could go in and pick up the bed until I emailed and then followed up via phone days after I ordered. I never got any confirmation of the lounge, followed up afterwards & got told they would confirm and get back to me. Heard nothing until 3 weeks later when they called me and said they couldn't send me the lounge I had already paid for yet and I'd have to wait another few weeks, then they called me back 2 weeks later and said actually they couldn't get that couch and would I like another one that was $500 more expensive (not for no extra cost - they wanted me to pay them the extra money for waiting 5 weeks to tell me they couldn't sell me a lounge). I said no and asked for a refund, ended up buying a couch from an online competitor named after an Australian native animal that arrived 4 hours after I ordered it. 2 stars only because I was eventually able to go and pick up the bed. Edit: owner told me I didn't purchase the lounge in the comments of this review. Wish they had told me that then, would mean I could've bought the lounge I have now (bought online, delivered within 4 hours on a Friday afternoon) without waiting weeks for this place to bungle my order!

All the negative reviews about this store are fully justified and any positive review probably comes from their employees / relatives.Don't ever buy from them I went in store, asked specifically for a king size bed that is ready to be shipped. the guy showed the headboard for a model (that was definitely in stock at that time)and promised to ship it in next 3 days. After 4 days I called them they said they will ship in next 2 days. This game of cat and mouse went on for next 8 days everytime they gave me 2 days time for delivery, Finally after 10 or so days they told me its not in stock and will take 3-4 more weeks to arrive. I then demanded a refund to which they offered me alternate and promised delivery the next day and then triggered another session of excuses and in between whenever I asked for refund they kept on giving more excuses about finance department etc and also revealed that this might also take upto 2 weeks more on my last call with them. Finally I went in harsh on my final call, I only got the refund when I told them that this is going to fair trading. The guy at Prospect store is a good marketer but don't believe a word he says. and if you are ordering online, Good luck for your delivery (if it ever arrives)

A farcical experience I am so disappointed with the service I have received. Firstly I placed my order on the 6th of April 2019, and was told that it should be ready by early to mid May. I received a call for payment and to arrange delivery on the 26th June! My experience got worse. At the time of purchase, I clearly indicated that I live in a two storey terrace and needed the item of furniture(a shoe cabinet) to be delivered and carried upstairs. Both my husband and I have medical issues preventing us from moving heavy pieces of furniture. The item was delivered on Saturday, by a lone driver and his girlfriend. The driver struggled to get the item out of his truck. His girlfriend was there for the ride by tried to assist him anyway. The driver then told me at 9.30 am that he would come back in two hours with an assistant to carry the cabinet upstairs. This did not happen. I rang the store and was told that I would receive a call from the warehouse manager. This did NOT happen either. Don't promise delivery and then not fulfill it. You need TWO people to deliver. I have not removed the packaging as I am sure the item has probably been damaged. Don't patronise people when they ring you to complain.

This is a WARNING!! Who wish to purchase furniture from this shop. If you don’t want to go to FairTrade or tribunal. You can check the negative reviews, how terrible is their business behaviour. They get hundreds of customers complaints through Fair Trade. So they are used to it. They know most of the people will not go to tribunal, cause it costs money and time. I had to wait for a product more than three months, although they said, it’s in the wear house will be available in couple of days. Because they failed to keep their commitment, I asked for refund and they charge me 20% cancellation fees of the price. So, That’s how they make money. I complained to Fair Trade, fair trade advised me to go to tribunal. I did not have time to go to tribunal, also it would cost me money and They already wasted my three months, so decided not to waste more time. I had to pay 20% of the product’s price for nothing and they made money even without selling a product what a business!!! If anybody has plenty of time and money to waste, then purchase product from them. Worst experience in my life time. Regretting going there. In Australia this kind of business?!!come on!!

I have purchased an entertainment unit online from myfurniturestore.com.au on 03/11/2019 after confirming that the item in stock. After order was completed, upon further enquiry on November 12, I was told that the item was not in stock and has to come from from overseas with and ETA of 10-12 weeks, but verbally confirmed me that they will deliver that before Christmas. When I called them before Christmas(not responding to emails), I was told by staff that there is a shipment delay and I can either choose items in store or wait for the shipment to come which will be with in 2nd week of January. I chose to wait, but on Jan 24 2020, they said they have issues with supplier and deliver will take several months. I have requested refund, but till now no steps has been taken from their part to process the refund and not responding to emails. Upon calling them in January, they told me that I have to wait for their boss to come back from his holidays( which is not my issue). Worst customer service and lying to customers, the worst experience ever. Keep away from these frauds.

I ordered a bed frame on 07/03/22. I received an email advising they do not have it in stock. They offered an alternative, which I declined and asked to wait. I waited and nothing came. I called and spoke to a man named Craig, who I believe is a manager. I asked for a refund. Craig was at first quite rude and argumentative until I advised I would go to Fair Trading-this is when his tune changed and Craig offered to have the bed assembled for me upon delivery as means of an apology and a solution. A week later, my bed frame finally arrived. The delivery driver refused to assemble the bed. I got on the phone to the store and the driver became abusive and threw my things in to the bedroom and stormed around swearing and then he left before I got off the phone. The man on the phone said someone will call me next week because there is nothing to be done now. I said I do not care, it needs to be done now. That is when he said “If you don’t care, I don’t care either.” I have notified the police and made a report. DO NOT TRUST THIS STORE.

So disappointed because i just wasted my money. I bought a king size bed and mattress. King mattress is way to smaller than the bed. When i spoke to him he said your bed is wrong sized not the mattress. But he forgot that both bed and mattress I bought from him. When i told him it's you who sold both bed and mattress and as you said bed is wrong then you have to replace this bed or mattress whatever is wrong or refund the money because this is totally unfair with a customer who spent lot of money for this. He start yelling on me and was saying that either you keep it like that or he just refund me half of the total money that i paid to him. He was so rude eventhough he know that he sold me wrong sized stuff either bed or mattress. Guys please don't go to this furniture shop in prospect. He sell you rubbish stuff and there is no warranty or guarantee of his stuff. He would not replace or refund for faulty or wrong sized items too. Please don't waste your money by buying stuff from him.

Oh boy! My Furniture Store....what can I say about my experience dealing with Gina & the other trades staff. I can honestly state that the end to end process of ordering, purchasing, delivery of the cupboards, Table, storage racks plus other items was the most stress free and so professionally handled experience that I have ever encountered. The office staff, especially Gina, were so polite, patient and helpful in my selection of goods, they accurately saved me money. The delivery driver and his offsider arrived exactly on time and not only unload the goods but helped put furniture in the places I had selected I truly believe that you would be loosing your money or buying a inferior product, if you didn’t shop at My Furniture Store. I have already recommended it highly to all my friends and family - it’s a brilliant place to shop that has value for money goods & products. Definitely a 5 star experience.

WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. Save yourself the aggravation and shop elsewhere. The call centre is in the Philippines, so it is very difficult to speak to anyone in Australia who actually knows what’s happening ! Our bedroom suite was finally delivered after five months of waiting. We ordered October and were notified in January but half of the order had arrived we said we would wait till it’s all complete finally contacted them again in March only to be told that the order had been ready three weeks ago but we were never contacted. We paid $800 extra to have custom drawers for under the bed made. They have been made incorrectly and very badly, and completely useless to us! Now they are ignoring our request to refund the $800. This business is unscrupulous. They have done everything possible to not tell us the truth about our orde I am lodging a complaint with the Department of fair trading.

Ordered and paid half for a desk on the 12th of Jan... they tooks months to get started on actually get the design sent to me for approval (didn't want a keyboard drawer but an extra foot rest), built quick enough and now in warehouse. Other half paid on 26/3 (i was reluctant to pay the other half given the reviews i read... but they wouldn't accept payment on delivery) no response on delivery date inspite of calls and emails. Guess one is better off paying a small fraction and no delivery, wait till products ready in warehouse (may be a long wait) and then go inspect and pay balance and arrange delivery yourself. Just got an email saying delivery tomorrow... fingers crossed it comes through with no issues. Desk finally arrived and the 2 parts of the L shaped desk don't line up... mailed them and will chase up on it. Hoped it would be lovely and made up for the delays... here goes more calls

Buyer beware do not buy from this store!!!!!!. They are more than happy to deal with you and take you money when your buying something but if you have any issue with there product they don't want to know you. We have an issue with the bunk bed we brought the wholes don't match up and the bed heads are back to front. After my first phone call to Craig one of the managers he said it can be fixed and they would replace the head boards he made it seem like a easy fix I sent emails with photos to another manager Gina as asked but never herd back. I'm 100% positive that they screen there calls and they keep sending me to there answering service who pass on a request for a call back that never comes its been 3 weeks 8 call back requests and 3 emails the next step is consumer affairs I think. I don't understand why they are avoiding us and turning this into a bigger issue than it needs tobe.

The WORST furniture store we have visited ever and we have been to quite a lot. Sadly this is not exaggerated. When we told the store personnel that we saw a similar sofa with a cheaper price from a different store which I think is normal for someone who is trying to get a good reasonable deal, he asked us in a very condescending tone why we were there then (my furniture store auburn). Even told us we were free to go, pointing to the entrance. He just kept talking even as we were walking out. Made us very unwelcome! And there were a few other customers as well. I’m pretty sure they were as uncomfortable as us during that confrontation. I was very shocked. I don’t know if he is the employer or an employee. I placed an order online for a bed frame to the value of $1500. I received an email for my receipt but no communication about when my bed will be delivered. When I called them they said 2 weeks. 2 weeks later I called back and they told me my bed frame I have already ordered is no longer available but the exact same bed design is available but with an additional gas lift feature. I asked if I needed to pay more for that and they told me no. So I was happy with that. A week later I received an email saying the gas lift option is an additional $500 and how did I want to proceed with the order. I told them I did not want to pay extra and for them to issue a refund. 6 months later I have still received no communication nor refund. I have reported them to the consumers fair trade act and currently awaiting my hearing. DON'T BUY FROM THEM

Fantastic experience with my furniture store with Craig when I bought the queen bed frame. There’s a big variety of choices with competitive price. I finally found what I want after went to different stores. Delivery was quick too. After I received the bed frame, I noticed the slats were not as thick as what was displayed in the store. I called the store. Before I called , I was expecting to have an argument over the phone or had to complain to fair trading to solve the problem . When I called, I had a big relief straight away. Craig said the manufacturer changed the specifications without informing them. He made thick slats for me for free within 2 days! I feel they are honest and are trying their best to make the customer to have a positive experience. I will definitely come back if I need to look for something else.

Don't EVER buy on line from them ! I've been ripped off of $1745+$284 !! We ordered 8 items online on Sept 5th 2019. Received 3 items only on February 15th 2020 (yes, more than 5 months later, and after numerous e-mails). One of the 3 items (a kiddies desk) was dirty, had scratches, and no drawers handles. It had been re-packed with another cardboard box, so I suspect it was actually a second-hand desk... As for the items that were not delivered (as I was told in January they were discontinued...), I asked for a refund ($1745) that was accepted by e-mail on February 11th. Today is February 26th, and they're not replying to my e-mails anymore... I had made another order on Sept 10th 2019 for $284. No delivery, no refund, no reply, nothing, so far... PO 22961 PO 23003 This shop is a disgrace.

Misleading Organisation. After waiting the initially advised order shipping time of 12-15 business days, I was informed that my order would not come for another 12-15 business days. Furthermore, I was the one who had to seek out the cause of the delay no one from the store thought it would be a good idea to tell me that my mattress would be delayed by up to 3 weeks. In addition to this, it was very difficult to get this information from them, I called up twice and was told that I would be given a call back about the source of the problem, but I was never called back. It was only on the third time that I tried that I was able to tell me there was going to be a further delay. Only gave this 2 stars because the prices are quite good, but the customer service is terrible.

I ordered a 1830mm long blanket box online prior to looking at the reviews of 'My Furniture Store' and have to admit after reading the reviews, I was concerned. I needn’t have worried! Due to intermittent interstate travel and manufacture and delivery dates of 6 to 8 weeks, I inquired as to the date of expected delivery. Craig Mendel replied within a few hours advising delivery would be within 30 days. Within 30 days it was. I am very happy with the purchase! The solid wood box is beautifully finished and the colour is a great match to existing furniture and decor. The delivery man, Claude, was very courteous, the trolley wrapped in blankets, and the box placed in the specified spot (Groundlevel). It looks good! Thank you for the great service!

My experience was a Five Star. I arrived into this shop looking for a Tallboy, The Owner served me with up most respect and with a Brilliant Customer Service was displayed. He Showed me what I wanted and told me that product is in stock and ready for delivery. I purchased my Tallboy as a reasonable price and paid extra $100 for delivery with I don't mind at All. The Owner call me later and told me that the delivery is next day I was surprised as he really looks after his customers from start to end . Next day my Tallboy arrived and was happy of my purchase . Again I would give ZERO stars if I could. I ordered on-line on the 1st March and was told the chairs were in stock, I was then told sorry they will arrive shortly. I told the staff there I needed the chairs by the 30th March at the latest, I was assured everything would be delivered on time. Since then I have call 5 more times, left messages, no one calls back despite promises. Nothing has been delivered and no one calls, I have now lodged a payment dispute with my credit card company to get my money back. DO NOT EVER DEAL WITH THESE GUYS. They take your money, they provide no updates, and they miss every dead line. Save your money and sanity and buy else where.

After ordering a bed from My Furniture Store, I was extremely disappointed with the customer service and my delivery. They cancelled the first Saturday, then they didn’t even bother to tell me and I had to chase them up. On the second Saturday it took them 8 hours to deliver and when I spent all day chasing them up the store took zero responsibility for the delay which was extremely frustrating. Once the bed had arrived I opened the packaging to find the bed covered in heavy dust and scratches on the frame which makes me think it was a display item and not a brand new item. To avoid extreme disappointment, refrain from buying any product from My Furniture Store.

I have had the worst experience with this store. I purchased a piece of furniture which was absolutely terrible quality. I raised the matter with the store and got what I had thought at the time was a reasonable response and support on the matter. I decided to upgrade and purchase another item with a store credit. I have emailed multiple times with no response, I have phoned 4 times now and left messages with no response to what was merely an enquiry on process. To completely ignore a customer and complaint managed in a cordial manner is simply not right. I will be taking the matter further since the Store Manager seemingly now refuses to deal with the matter.

Took our money, then 2 months later told us they couldn't get the item we had paid for, as it was discontinued. As we didn't like any of the other options, we requested a refund. Cue owner Craig Mendel always being 'at lunch'' and his office assuring us they'd refund the next day, they never did. Finally Paypal intervened and My Furniture Store agreed the refund. However, once we'd had the email saying it had been refunded, the seller cancelled the transfer. Paypal have now taken the money from Mendel's PP account and refunded us. Don't deal with this company. I've had to give them one star to create the review post, but in reality Id give them zero.

I normally take poor reviews with a pinch of salt but in the case of myfurniture they appear to be valid. Unfortunately this is another example of continual empty promises and failure to deliver. It’s going to be 4 months from order (and having taken my money) before my goods arrive that’s assuming that the latest round of promises are met. I would not buy from my furniture without a commitment to deliver and a penalty for your inconvenience if they fail to meet those commitments and full payment only on recipient of goods. Extremely disappointing experience. I hope the goods are worth it when they finally get here.

I placed order on 13 th October for my son and was told it will be coning in three weeks time as they said they need to wait for a desk. Its has been over 6weeks now and every time I call they advise me thay desk is coming on saturday . I even asked to deliver the rest of the stuff and i will pick the the desk myself when it arrives but now they have even stopped answering my calls . I am lodging a complaint with Dept of Fair trading . Beware buyers .. do even think of buying from this store .

Absolutely appalling customer service and very dodgy business!!! I ordered a blanket box online and paid the full amount plus delivery. I waited a month, heard nothing and no order came. I finally rang them and they said that I needed to approve the sketch. I checked my email - no sketch had been sent. The person handling the call was extremely rude!! No apology, no desire to make sure this got sorted out and that I received my order. This person could not converse with you over the phone like a normal human being. Very strange the way they do business. I would recommend avoiding this company.

The worst store and people to do business with, would not recommend this store to anyone. Very unprofessional and liar. Purchased a brand new double bunk bed for my kids and it turns out to be used. When they delivered, it wasn't in its box, just plastic rapped from woollies, manual book was missing, the bed was all damaged, corners and edges was chipped and paint missing, study table attached to bed was water damaged. However after contacting and continuesly emailing the company, they refuse to swap or give our money back. Very rude Don't waist your time and money on this store.

I ordered a bedframe and mattress It took 2 weeks to arrive as explained by My furniture store employer. Was excellent face to face contact. I ordered these two items which they didn't have in-store but we're very descriptive and truthful of the results it looked like. I was not disappointed, it was not a fake picture everything was accurate The furniture handlers were very nice and very professional of setting up my bed frame. I highly recommend My furniture store if you want actual results and to have a clear mind of expensive orders as this was not a struggle or worry.

We recently purchased a bed from My Furniture Store, after not receiving any correspondence regarding delivery I called them, twice they hung up on me, when I finally did get to speak with someone, I was told the product I ordered was no longer in stock and they tried to offer me something completely different. When I declined the alternate product and requested a refund instead, they hung up. 5 emails and many calls later no bed, no refund. This is disgusting service. Don’t waste 6 months waiting for furniture that won’t ever arrive. I ordered online. After 12 weeks I contacted them was told it’s on the way, after 16 weeks yes the container leaving to arrive soon, at 20 weeks….your item is out of stock I offered 16 other options from their website that were all discontinued. The customer service was appalling, I chased them the entire time, even the owner didn’t call back when he said he would. Covid can only be an excuse for some things but not for everything

Was told our lounge would be delivered on Tuesday 6/4/21, obviously it didn't come. Phoned the store on the Wednesday and the assistant rescheduled for today Saturday 10/4/21. I phoned the store a few times after to make sure. Today I phoned the store to make sure it would be delivered today and was told yes. 4:10pm I phoned the store and was assured the lounge is on the truck for delivery. 5:16 pm still no lounge.... 27092 my wife ordered it. I stayed of work Tuesday and stayed in all day today...

My experience shopping at ‘My Furniture Store’ was simply the best. Huge range, attractive prices and great service! Martin was amazing and helped us choose the right lounge for our home. Other staff also were very friendly and helpful. When I flagged with them that there were issues with a couple of the dining chairs they very promptly replaced them within the week. I would definitely recommend this store to anyone who is looking for great furniture deals and a seamless buying experience.

Ordered 4/1/23. initial delivery 20/2/23 after 7pm. Average quality product. Ordered chest of draws and single bed. Chest of draws are average. Closure rails need a shake to get the draw in. Would not recommend. Company sent the wrong bed size and promised to prioritise manufacture and shipping. I was consistently misled about timeline and the staff were not accommodating and not apologetic. Overall would not recommend the products due to quality and the customer service. Go to IKEA.

Warning do not buy from this store! It has been three months and they have still not delivered. If you try to call them they use people working from home and say Craig will call you back which he never does. They won't even give you a tracking number unless Craig agrees which obviously he won't. They will say it was sent last week which it never was as this goes on for weeks. They will also tell you one of your items is out of stock to delay delivery and won't refund your money.

Purchased Bedside table, exactly what we were after. We were charged $299 for what was a $250 table, despite us telling Craig it was a $250. Got home and found a docket inside the draw stating the price of $250 (we should have looked there first!) So we went from feeling really good, to feeling ripped off. Tried to talk to the manager, but they were not interested!.. We would not recommend this store & will not shop there ever again!...

Nothing but disappointment from my furniture store. Their customer service is terrible, having to chase responses every week, but most of all, we ordered new made to order beds that arrived with visible mould through out the wooden pieces. A health hazard to our family (any family) and we are still yet to have the issue resolved, they are not taking responsibility for the issue. I advise against ordering from myfurniture store.

I have ordered a bunk bed online. Order was not delivered on time. There was not enough or clear instruction to assemble the product. Parts and screws were not marked to identify correctly. Overall, they actually expect you to get assembly from them as well. They also provided an advertisement to call them to assemble the product. I believe this is a tricky business policy of theirs. This is a bad business practice.

It was so easy to assemble the bed frame and the bedside tables were already assembled all boxed up. Now all set up in our room it is just stunning. My hubby walked into the physical store, really looking for inspiration for a new bed frame. We walked out with a full betroom set. Not because the salesman was really pushy, but because he was very helpful. Showed us the quality of the build etc. We left feeling very happy. One year on and we love our bed. Not squeeky like our last ikea bed after a year, but still solid and sturdy. Very happy.

Terrible after sales service. I was promised to deliver the furniture in 10 days, but took more than one month. Not apologetic for the lapses from their side. No notification from them till I called up them to ask the progress. 2 and a half years of calling, emailing and following up and this company still hasn’t provided me with the products I ordered or refunded me as promised. That is theft. Do not trust this company - Craig the manager has been dismissive, evasive and has happily kept hundreds of dollars of my money that he hasn’t provided a product for or been willing to refund the cost of in exchange.

Do not shop from here. They charged us for an item that was not only out of stock but discontinued (fairly sure that's illegal). The second piece of furniture that we bought was delayed by two months and when we tried to cancel the order no one responded to emails and no one on the phone could help me. I'm fairly certain their positive reviews are fake.

So disappointed. Ordered a beautiful bed and got a cheap bed, totally different colour, glue marks, the bedside table has dints in it and looks as though someone has taken to it with a screwdriver. I was told it's recycled pallets and how it's meant to look. I wouldn't buy this second hand! Do yourself a favour and take your business elsewhere.

Unfortunately not a good review, I have had so many dramas with deliveries and massive lack of communication. At times I felt like I was not the customer but the store rep trying to get further information on my own stuff. The product itself was fine (still awaiting further deliveries) but honestly don't think it is worth all the drama!

Ordered and paid for a basic single bed frame 7 weeks ago and have heard absolutely nothing from them. Called several times - intially was told 2-3 weeks and we'll call you. I have called three more times since then. Still no idea when we will have the item that we paid for. Appalling communication and service. Will not be using again.

This is a pathetic shop for purchase of any furniture, delivered defective queen bed to me. They will show some Chinese website to convince you to purchase than at delivery will not include anything, saying this is Aussie made , we don't provide those feature. Be careful with these fraud people. Not sure how they are in business.

Ordered a bed after being told it would take 3 to 4 weeks however it took 9 weeks. After I finally managed to get someone to return my calls. They passed the buck blaming the manufacturer. There was nothing wrong with bed when in finally arrived – but unless you are happy to wait months I would give this place a miss.

I would give them 0 stars If i could. We were told that our bed and mattress will be delivered in 2 weeks but it has been 8 weeks now and no sign of any delivery. We paid in full on the day.You cannot contact them and when you do talk to them they give you so much attitude. I would not deal with them ever again.

Simply cheat and fraud. I bought furniture in early December 2019 under promotion. I have contacted more than ten times for promotional voucher. But still haven't received it. All employees ( from customer service to store manager ) are well trained how to tell lies one after anotther and how cheat with people.

The staff were very helpful when I phoned with some questions prior to placing my order and were very prompt in getting the answers I needed. My gorgeous chairs arrived from interstate sooner than expected (much to my delight!) and they look beautiful with my dining table. I highly recommend My Furniture Store.

Pre-sales customer service not up to scratch. How can I know if your furniture is suitable if you can't even provide measurements? Didn't respond to email enquiry for a week until I called then they replied with specs for just 1 of 4 of the items I had enquired about.
