On the 5th of August I purchased my couch online from Fantastic Furniture online. It was "in stock delivery between 2-4 days". On the 7th of August, it was delivered. However there was no chaise frame in the packaging. I called up the same day (7th of August) and spoke with someone who advised me she will contact the warehouse and call me back. I didn't get a call back. A week passed so I called up again. I was told on the phone that the original operator was handling the matter and would call me back. Still no call back. On the 18th of August I called again, and spoke with Abbie, who was helpful that day in raising a claim as it appeared that no one had taken action on my missing chaise (how frustrating after waiting with false hope). On the 26th of August, I was advised through Fantastic Furniture's Facebook messenger with Nida, that a replacement couch has been ordered and will arrive on or around the 1st of October. As of November- I received no contact from Fantastic Furniture, or any delivery team since. I wouldn't have bought this couch had I known it wouldn't have a chaise frame! It's unusable, unsafe, not to mention embarrassing when my friends come over. It cost $1058.00 from me and has provided me with a headache and months of waiting for no resolution. Never shop with fantastic furniture. It has been the most horrible experience I have ever had with any store. Their customer service is absolutely atrocious with false promises.

Appalling, I went to purchase two little tables which were only $9.00 each there was a stack of them I went to purchase with the two little tables (gelato) in my hands. I went to the checkout the young lady went to ring them up and then said she could not sell them to me as they have been sold online to some one else. I then asked to talk to the manager he said I could not have them as they hadn’t had enough time to take them off the floor ( there was minimal customers in the store!) .i said that there was no signs stating that walk-in customers could only buy the goods if they hadn’t been purchased by online buyers first, honestly this disgusting! I do commend your staff on handling the situation they were apologetic, I never once raised my voice although they did see me upset and couldn’t believe what I was hearing. I then was humiliated by another customer who swore at me and told me to by them elsewhere, the staff did nothing to defuse the situation I put the little tables down and walked out. I have shopped may times in this store, after speaking to my family’s have decided not to return Fantastic Furniture and will not endorse any product or service related to this company. This doesn’t seem much, I have four Children plus there spouses and eight grandchildren, who will not spend or endorse any product of this company. Truly dissatisfied over a $18.00 purchase. It wasnt toilet paper! Bad management

Last Sunday in Nowra, I ordered 2 x items for delivery to a Sydney address. I was told that I couldn't pay for them at Nowra. (Usually payment could be carried out that way - I've been a customer with FF for a long time.) Sales person, through the store closest to the Sydney address, organised an online Sales Order to be sent to my email. I went online to pay for these items. I could not use my Load & Go, neither another credit card. Eventually I paid for the items via my Mastercard. Subsequently I found out that FF do not accept L&Gs. Clearly they also do not accept all kinds of credit cards. NOW I find out that my payment was rejected. My bank tells me that the payment has gone through and has given me an authorisation number for FF to have. FF still refuse to acknowledge this payment. Now my bank has organised for them to Fax a letter on FF letterhead to them (the bank) with my details and the costs, so that the monies can be given back to my credit card. It was a large sum of money. My experience with FF over the years has been varied. In the beginning sales persons were most helpful and courteous. In the stores which I have visited, this is no longer the case. This begs the question "What is Management like?" It seems most dishonest and untrustworthy.

Terrible customer service, my daughter ordered a lounge and was told she was to receive ‘one from out the back’ (new). It was at a low price advertised. She received a phone call to say that there had been a ‘glitch’ and there was no stock as promised and would she accept floor stock that’s all they had. (No discount offered). She reluctantly agreed but had some doubts but needed a lounge. I rang and spoke to a staff member who told me that my daughter had agreed to floor stock and did she want it as it was loaded on the truck? I asked if they would give her a small discount as many people would of been sitting on it in store. The female staff member refused. So my daughter waited for this couch was was dropped at her door (she lives in a unit). She asked the two delivery men would they please bring it in they refused saying she might have to get some friends to help her. She is on her own. She was in tears and not sure what to do. I’m so upset with this terrible lack of customer service and delivery. These times are hard enough, some kindness wouldn’t go astray. Very disappointed. Why are customers willing to spend their money (what little they have) in a store, treated like this?

so its been 8 weeks waiting for a piece, a desk hutch, to be delivered from a large order of at least 6 different furniture pieces. 2 were missing on the day of delivery, and I was told to wait and would get a call in a few days about a new delivery time, this was 2 weeks after the order in store. I eventually called them to ask what was going on and told that they had delivered all but 1 item according to their invoices and so had to open an investigation into my claim. a week and a half later I called again and they said that it had been put in the back of the warehouse under a number of other pieces and would be delivered within 3 days. this was 5 weeks after the initial order. now for the last 3 I have been getting hung up on, put on hold and told "I will have to call you back" whenever I call to find out where my final piece is. Was told it had to be made new by the supplier as they didnt order enough from them for my order, then told it was coming 2 weeks ago, and it would be delivered the next week. At this point I feel I am just being jerked around so that they can hold onto my money till I give up trying to get my furniture. So very unimpressed.

After purchasing the Serenity King Size Plush mattress only 10 months ago it began to sag terribly on both sides with a very noticeable ridge line in the middle after the first 4 months. This problem became significantly worse to the point where both my partner and I suffered from back and shoulder pain not to mention a continued lack of sleep. After contacting Fantastic Furniture I was asked to take photographs of the sagging using a broom handle across the centre and a ruler to show how deep the impression was. In the manufacturers warranty document the wording states that an impression of no less than 32mm will be considered for a warranty claim. This I believe was shown clearly in the photographs I supplied. The response from was that the manufacturers had rejected any possibility of our mattress being considered for a warranty / replacement as the sagging was not severe enough. I am extremely disappointed with this result as the mattress has a 20 year warranty and is barely a year old. I would not recommend this mattress to anyone and believe it is a major waste of money.

If I could give not a single star rating I would do so. It's my first time purchase with Fantastic and wasn't a good experience. I would recommend not to purchase through online, the delivery system was bad. I was told to be emailed to confirm the delivery time frame, but no emailed was sent. I ended up contacting them and being put on hold for more than 10 minutes for several times. Initially dealt with someone who couldn't help me and pretty rude, a total waste of time. Eventually the package arrived, but the courier whom Fantastic arranged didn't even knock the door, they just dumped the furniture outside my home. I was home all day, waited and waited. I had to call the courier and only found out it had been delivered and dumped infront of my home. What a waste of time. To be honest, it's the worst experience I ever had. I don't recommend to purchase through online.

I ordered a sofa bed (along with other items) that displayed it was available for delivery in 3 - 4 business days over a month later I was still waiting. Not only that they failed to respond to my emails asking for updates (twice). They then contacted me to arrange a delivery to make sure I was in to receive the delivery. I have a call from the drivers when they were on their way to say 30 mins out. 15 mins later a call from head office to say that the sofa bed won’t be with the order. Absolutely disgraceful service. Will never shop with this store again. They false advertise to hook you in on a sale and then don’t deliver. Cancelled my order completely. And surprise surprise the refund will take time to process. (Amazing given how quickly they can take my money). Don’t shop with them

It has been 3 weeks without any clear response from their end. The customer service of the business is atrocious and I am very upset with the treatment I have received as a loyal customer to the franchise. I have been trying to get a resolution to my order but am constantly being ignored when I am not at fault. I spend $200 with guaranteed warranty and yet I can’t use the warranty on a faulty item because I am constantly being ghosted from not only the head office, the customer care and the local manager! All I have asked for is the 3 faulty pieces to be swapped with new pieces rather than a whole new drawer yet its still too much to ask for even though I am supposed to have warranty. I have never had service this poor from a company till now.

No quality control, terrible service as well, a huge time wasting experience, wasted my time assembling their faulty incomplete furniture and all they can say is (1) wait another few weeks for a replacement or (2) send it back for a refund. (1) it should be checked by FF before supplying it to the customer, the customer should not have to suffer because they got it wrong., surely I'm not the first to contact them about issues with certain products that they sell constantly. (2) if I send it back are they going to pay for the time I wasted trying to assemble wrongly supplied faulty incomplete goods! Absolutely not happy with this company or their products. You have possibly lost another customer. FF you need to work on QC and customer service!

Purchased the 5 piece Luca Espresso Dining set $169 and the table top was faulty upon opening once we got home. I called the Chullora store and spoke to very friendly staff members, however they were not helpful and what should have been a quick replacement process turned into a 4-5 day chase where I had to constantly call up to see what they could do to help my situation. After 4 days I called again in hopes that someone could help me and was told to call the Alexandria store instead. They were immediate to say 'Yep, no worries, bring it in and we will replace it for you.' We swapped it in the same day and found the Alexandria team to be a lot more accommodating in customer service. Products are reasonably priced, cheap and easy to assemble.

When the floor salesperson was very confused and not very friendly, I thought it couldn't get worse until I went to the warehouse. The staff there just ignored me and complained about their shift times when I stood there for a minute and there were no other customers around. And shame, the item I bought I found out in the afternoon was selling for 35% less at Costco and heavier construction. So have a look at Costco first before buying from this business next time. In contrast, my impression of slightly more up-market furniture stores (eg Freedom) has always been good. So if you can put up with the lack of professionalism then have a look but not if you can get similar items from say Costco.

Recently bought a single bed from Fantastic furniture at Chullora for when family stays. Such a fantastic ( no pun intended) process. We walked in the store, Gemma asked us if we needed help , she left us to look around but was then available to us when we decided what we wanted. The bed was delivered when they said it would be and due to a voice problem, I asked that they text me instead of call, which they did. Wonderful experience. The mattress came rolled up in a box, who knew . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to a friend or family member. The whole process was painless, which is what you want when purchasing a bed etc. Good on you Fantastic furniture. Thank you.

I am extremely dissatisfied by the pure incompetence by this store! I order a package, wait 6 weeks for the couch to arrive, to then receive a phone call on the day of delivery to say that they have sent the wrong lounge and that it will take another 6 weeks for it to arrive! I take the lounge that was delivered and it was supposed to be delivered today at which time I have received another phone call to say they have the incorrect address and can now not deliver today! I would not recommend this store to anyone! I am also waiting for a phone call from the manager after seeking full reimbursement of purchase!! Extremely disappointed!

I was told to visit the store to pick up an order that was ready and waiting. After attending the store I was told at the reception to go to the back warehouse. So I did but only to be told again to go back to reception. I was sent back and forth several times so I asked to see a manager. An overweight female manager called JO (yes she has a guys name) came out. JO had a nasty attitude almost as if she hated her job. If you make the unfortunate decision to visit this place. steer clear from JO. You cant miss her. She is very overweight, lazy, nasty attitude and struggles a little to walk.

They damaged my car when I went to pick up something I ordered online cause the genius out the back tried to pick it up himself and slammed it into my boot. I contacted customer care who responded promptly saying the store manager would call me directly. Months have gone by now and nothing! No one has tried to call, compensate or even apologise. Have read several reviews complaining about the management at the Chullora store with similar complaints. It seems the only thing that's poorer quality than their furniture is their customer service. Don't go to this store.

I am very disappointed. I’ve just opened the Box from “Forbes” (name of the product) and the a lot of pieces are damaged and Fantastic’s Furniture Team have add colour on it (check 1st photo). That seems for me that you knew the issue and you have tried to cover it. I have shared photos and I have a video that i cannot upload. PS Regarding the delivery I understand that was Australian Post fault. It wasn’t Fantastic’s Furniture fault. I will suggest you to cooperate with an other service provider but in any case I understand and thank you for your reply.

We bought a bed and got it delivered last week on Tuesday. When we opened the parts, a few of them appeared to be mixing. We called Chullora but no one picked up and we had to go all the way to the shop only to hear from one of the representatives that “it doesn’t look like anything is missing!”, even without checking it. Then she made us walk to the warehouse to get this thing sorted. Is this why I paid the delivery charges to get an incomplete order? Such a pathetic service... Although, the guy at the warehouse was very nice and helpful.

Got my bed and sofa here. Pretty cheap but good quality. There is no price negotiation but they are cheap anyways so I didn't mind too much. But my problem was with the bed side cabinet I got. I was meant to assemble it. Being a handyman it seemed it wasnt a big deal but one of the back panels was literally too big for the groove they have created. I had to get a chisel and chisel the grove wider myself.... imagine if it was other people putting it together... They would have to go back and forth to the shop to get a refund or exchange it.

Th organising skills at Fantastic are nowhere close to what the name claims. We bought an item which we returned before picking up. The Fantastic people repeatedly said we had picked it up. They required 4 months and a lot of persuasion to change their opinion that the item has been picked up. In short, we got our money back in 4 month from the original request. Now, I had a warranty claim -request 982060 - at one month from sending the pictures and my claim having been accepted , noithing is happening. Is this really Fantastic?

Damage lounge refuse to exchange No one from customer care communications with they customers. Hi Deborah, As mattie discussed with you over the phone previously regarding the goods being damaged, we did submit a claim and the customer care has gone over the issue and looked at the previous issues with the product you purchased and has advised that the solution will be to process a refund to you which is in-line with our and the ACCC policy. Unfortunately, we will not be doing another exchange.

First time I have ever felt so uncomfortable at that store I always go there but first time I had that experience ever only went in to buy a table came out so upset lady kepted making comments about my kids and speaking to me in such a rude way very bad attitude when I spoke to the supervisor politely he didn't answer back just sat there laughing with the lady that made me uncomfortable I like that store but that worker made me not wanna go there no more thanks anyways chullora fantastic

Broke my table upon delivery and didn’t tell me, had to go back in the store to ask why my table wasn’t delivered as they do not answer phones. When my table and chairs were finally delivered they had only brought 4/8 chairs. Again, I had to drive back to the store to ask where the rest of my chairs were. It’s been almost 2 weeks and they have not got back to me. So now I will have to drive to the store for the fourth time to try and get the rest of my chairs.

Was on hold for half an hour then got hung up on?! Ive just purchased a rug online and want to enquire about delivery times and details as its already been more than 48 hours? Havent received a call, email, nothing. After just reading reviews, i can see this is normal at this store. I think i will be getting a refund to go and purchase one myself. Not happy chullora. With so many bad reciews, i dont understand how you havent tried to resolve this problem.

I was visit the Auburn store on 05/12/22 planning to get some furnitures, but was ignored by one of the sales staff for almost 10”, she wasn’t busy at all, even we have had an eyes contact but she just quickly look to other direction, her name start with letter An…, i just wall out and never come back to this store again, sales job isn’t suitable for her, she should look for something else don’t stay there to damaging the reputation for the store.

Large store with good parking. Although in nearly every occasion the store was under staffed, the customer service was still very good and workers used every effort to tend to all customers in a timely manner. The pick up area at the back has some strange characters. One guy wanted me to ring the service bell even though he could clearly see me standing at the counter with a receipt in my hand. I guess he likes the sound of the bell.

I went into the store to look at bedside tables in the Kingston range, I was not greeted when entering. I was the only person in the store and yet no sales staff approached me even as I stood looking around trying to find what I was after. This is not the first time I have experienced a lack of customer service in this store and it is sad to see I even left the store without a single staff member even acknowledging I existed.

Marina is very rude. Needs to be fired. Has a very bad attitude. Was there today to organise a delivery of bedroom furniture. She wasn't helpful. Told me there wasn't lay-by?? Only afterpay. Told me she couldn't order a mirror that was reduced and advised to to go and organise all my deliver from Auburn. Don't give me any alternatives. Then proceeded to ge me attitude when I went to ask another staff member for assistance.

One of my worst experiences ever I went in to buy furniture for my house only to be disrespected by Amira one of the sales team members she was very rude and disrespectful and when I spoke to her politely she responded aggressively furniture took 3 months longer that time frame that was advised also my dining table came damaged so had to wait a further month . I recommend you go elsewhere

This has been the worst customer service experience i have EVER had the displeasure of dealing with and still dealing with i purchased a bed 3 months ago and have still not received the 2 missing drawers i have contacted them at least 10 times with eaither someone telling me they will ring me back or sending me out the wrong product twice this should be illegal! !!

Extremely poor after market care, NO SATISFACTION FROM CUSTOMER CARE and when you phone Headquarters to talk to someone of authority you are again referred to customer care, pathetic and unprofessional, I ran my own business for 30 years I would not have lasted 30 months if I acted like your company. I am about to hand all emails and receipts to Consumer Affairs.

I've purchased Havana Entertainment Unit and more from this store. What a terrible warehouse manager is. Very rude, arrogant and completely unprofessional. They guarantee product quality, even its written inside store on wall with big letter, and it's big LIE. They are bunch of liers. Completely waste of money. Would give minus star if it was possible.

Everyone contact Maria! After contacting three other FF, she was the only one to be polite over the phone which lead to me going and seeing her in person a half hour away! Not only did she provide me with the upmost respect but the most amazing service She is polite, knowns her products and very genuine. Best service with a smile!!!! Thank you maria x

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by staff and asked if we needed help. They did not hover but were there when we needed to ask something. From the staff on the floor, to the guys in the warehouse/pickup, friendly, cheerful, nothing too much trouble. Had my 82 year old aunt with me and she was equally impressed with the customer service.

All in all, very happy with the service at Fantastic Furniture & they will have a customer in me!

They never ever pick up the call. I tried ringing to place a booking for delivery and their number 87138713 rings > goes on hold > and finally gets cut.. This is happening the Nth time and it's totally pathetic. Helpless here. Worst customer service ever!!!! Chullora shop never lift their phone to attend to their customers. So pathetically true.

I don't know where to begin! Congrats to Fantastic Furniture on the outstanding customer service they have at Chullora branch. The store manager, Cassie and all staff members are absolutely phenomenal. Very helpful and always delivered as promised. I received my furniture and I could not be anymore happier. Highly recommend Fantastic Furniture!

Delivery driver went off for the reason of truck is too big to park. We have been waiting for our delivery for 3days now. Our kids are sleeping in the carpet because we have been waiting for the bunkbed and mastress that we have ordered for them. All they can say Is wait to be rescheduled on a different date. Very poor service …

I have contacted support multiple times over a month ago for my missing stock! I ordered a double bed and mattress and the bed came without the pieces to stablise the slats to the frame. I cant use the bed as the mattress falls through the frame. This is so unacceptable! The unprofessionalism of the lack of response is unacceptable.

Fantastic furniture is a very nice place to buy your furniture. The furniture is good quality and fairly cheap, and there is a lot of options for the perfect furniture that you need. The staff are very nice and help you with whatever you need. The style of the furniture, specifically the sofas, is a lot better than other places.

The only DECENT thing this company has done is refunded the order that is still sitting in the local Allied Express depot waiting to be delivered today! I waited almost an entire MONTH for an outdoor lounge to be delivered and all I got was stuffed around. PSA: DO NOT PURCHASE "ONLINE ONLY" PRODUCTS AS YOUR WILL NEVER SEE THEM!

Let me make the decision and answered questions. Sale completed! Excrllent customer service. Shop well stocked, neat and clean.

Absolutely ridiculous.... there were so many customers in the show room, no staff approaching us, the internet was ridiculously bad with no connection . The staff were to busy chatting away at front desk. We were actually interested in few items but when no staff helped we walked out and went somewhere else.

I have ordered a bed and frame of fantastic furniture. I have only received the frame. I have spent hours on the phone trying to rectify this only to be told the issue sits with the courier. It is now ten days later and I still do not have the mattress. Just a notice to say failure to deliver.

Parking easy and close to store. Staff friendly and helpful, got what I needed without any hassle. They delivered when they said and texted in the morning with a 3 hour window and then rang to let me know they would arrive within the hour. They kept that time frame. Very happy with them.

Do not go here if you have small children!!!. There is no change room or mothers room. The parking is inadequate and at the moment they have renovations going on and they are painting the walls with no added ventilation and furniture is strewn about with no safety concerns for customers.

Been trying to contact these guys for days now. Nobody ever answer the phone and they completely ignore the emails. Bought a bed and never hear back to arrange a delivery day. Starting to doubt that I even gonna get the product that I already paid for. Not happy at all.

Everything was fine until they tried to deliver it. The delivery workers didn't bother to ring the door bell. Just called twice then didn't bother to answer when I called back. They are a nightmare to deal with. Save your time, energy and money and go somewhere else.

Brought the Chicago package I've had to tighten the dining room chairs weekly and I had sticky tape on the coffee table for Xmas presents only for a minute and it pulled the paper thin covering off it so much for a $4000 dollar package would never buy from them again

Staff are great at helping you decide and colour coordinated. Great range of furniture of good quality and not so good quality to suit any budget. Careful though, you do get for what you pay for and if you want things to last you have to be prepared to pay more.

Terrible customer service. I will not buy from them again. Store people are lovely it is the after sales customer service that is letting them down. I sent an email 3 weeks ago and still no reply so if you want the information then read and reply to that email.

Rating 5 stars purely because of the great service we always receive from Cathy in the chullora store. We always specifically see Cathy because her customer service is 10/10. I wish there were more staff like Cathy who goes above and beyond every time!

All I can say is it was worth the drive. We were immediately helped by amazing happy helpers in the show room, and then they told us the secret to go back to the warehouse in the back where they had some amazing deals. Yes, we walked home with a couch!

They have the worst customer service I've ever had. My order was messed up and I couldn't get items after 4 weeks. Also I couldn't contact them over the phone. Always on hold... DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE PEOPLE!! if you don't want any troubles

What an absolute joke! I have tried calling 15 times and absolutely no one picks up the phone. I had furniture delivered yesterday and it’s wrong and I can’t even contact them. Staff in store also are very lazy and don’t want to help their customers.

Great experience ordering here! I ordered a mirror, a desk and table chair and all I can say is I was pleased with the quality as they are in a good condition and there’s not a scratch on them! I highly recommend purchasing simple furniture here!

I have try to call for 3 days now with no awnser .. then I show up to the store and the item wasent in stock.. I could save me the time if someone awnser the phone.. no point of displaying a telephone number if nobody is going to awnser guys !!!

Bought a firm mattress and a queen side bed frame. Mattress is good but the bed frame is too hard to assemble. Also the joining nob for the middle base was so vulnerable. Not reusable at all. If you buy the bed frame then it’s a loss project.

Great variety of products & mice staff. I visited around 6 times, during which I bought a bliss mattress, pillow & had been offered help once while browsing. I appreciate that customers are given space. Thank you for the toilets. Good times!

All poor quality items and very bad customer service! Especially the mattress are really bad, they does not last long. The staffs will say there is warranty but when you claim the warranty they will say " sorry it is not that bad"...

Huge store and best thing is warehouse is next to it. So whatever u buy ready to pick up from back side. However sometime warehouse got stock issue. In the system it shows they have stock but sometime the stockman unable to find it.

Good stuff big store but always need to look for staff when buying goods no staff around .And most of the time stock is sold out ,they are displaying it have to wait 4-6 weeks .so why can’t they put a sign up out of stock annoying.

The worst furniture store in Australia. I order for two sofas, they delivered them after 9 weeks, and in two deliveries, one with out legs and one broken. They don't reply to emails and phone calls. I don't recommend to anyone.

Missing brackets in the box and didn't deliver the my sons mattress also missing is 2 chairs. The delivery drivers were terrible dumped everything in front of the house and didn't provide a docket with the stock they delivered

If your after some cheap furniture this is the place to go, delivery service was a 3 day wait. 1 staff member I encountered didnt even know leather has a smell. Store is small and over crowded, bad layout dark lighing.

Went to see what was silane at the Chullora store. Staff were friendly helpful and very knowledgeable. Even though I did not purchase I would recommend they warrant a chance if you are looking for affordable furniture
