I don't know what the negative reviewers are talking about... I have gone to the ladies at My Beautiful Laundrette dozens of times and have received perfect service every single time. Apart from standard dry cleaning visits, they repaired/patched my favourite pair of jeans to perfection ($15), dry cleaned and altered an evening gown ($35) and most recently got a super difficult oil stain out of a silk blazer ($15). I thought the blazer was ruined for sure, but now you can't even tell that it was ever stained. Im beyond stoked!! The sisters who own and run this business are lovely and I refuse to go anywhere else for dry cleaning or alterations! 10/10!!!

Shrunk my pants , I asked them why they didn't look at the washing instructions and the answer is we don't have time for that, no refund no offer to replace $100 pants ruined, because they have no time, and only one person there can speak english so very frustrating to deal with , I only wore pants once and wanted to treat them right by having them dry cleaned, my dead dog could have done a better job, I am actually going to complain to fair trading as I was so dam angry and they only offer was they would try and stretch it , i got it back and it was like they didnt even touch it...pissed off is an understatement..

They bleach stained a shirt and blamed me for it. Eventually (3 visits later) they fixed it, but only after double charging me and then denying it. When confronted with my bank statement showing the outgoing fee they refused the refund, saying the payment didn't go to them. Avoid. You'll find a better deal elsewhere, I did.

My girlfriend and I use this place to do our regular washing because it so close to our place. Never had an issue, and there has always been a machine free. Haven’t used the dry cleaning a lot, but my suit came out great the one time.

Lovely, welcoming and hospitable ladies at this laundrette. They were very accommodating with my 29 pieces to be mended, altered and dry-cleaned. Highly recommend. Excellent, easily accessible location on King Street, Newtown

Great experience, no fussing with coins as you pay at the register (still cash only but there are heaps of atms around), staff are friendly and helpful, machines are big and CLEAN. One load is $5.50 but the machines are big!

Asked to fix a pocket. They stitched it from the outside and now there's a ridiculous shape stitched on the outside of my jeans. $15. Should've gone to a professional and paid more.

Worst service own a restaurant near by in stead of finishing off the dry as my tea towels where not dry yet took them out and put them in bag all half wet
