On Sunday around 7pm I took my daughter and her best friend for ice cream. We arrived. No one acknowledged us. There were two boys working. No one else was in the shop. We stood at the ice cream display for 5 mins. Girls were deciding what they wanted. A young man came out of the bathroom and stood behind us. He was greeted and served immediately. Thought this was strange but didn’t think much of it. A ginger haired boy working finally came by to reluctantly help us. His name was Max. My enthusiastic daughter asked if she could pay extra for 3 flavours. He responded with a stern “no”. Zero explanation. No solution. Just “no”. I am sure the owner, Chang would have figured out a way to make that happen. I would have been happy to pay $20 for the 3 flavour ice cream cone. But I suppose In this economy, who wants to make extra money. So Max proceeds to scoop her 2 flavours and slaps them on the cold slab for mixing. The next boy comes over. Don’t know his name but we will call him 2 chains. He helps my daughters friend. She chooses same size and 2 flavours. He takes her scoops to a scale and weighs them. THEN he proceeds to remove a teaspoon amount from the scale and tosses it back into the original ice cream containers. He misses the ice cream lands in between two containers. Needless to say, the ice cream was wasted. Makes sense. My daughters friend and I look confusingly at the amount that is placed on the cold slab next to my daughters ice cream. Safe to say that it was about half the amount. No exaggeration. So I ask 2 Chainz why it was so much less. Max responds “we weigh all our ice cream” to which I reply, “you didn’t weigh my daughters”. He then bold faced and audaciously tells me/lies to me that he did way the ice cream. The two girls look at him and say “no we watched you and you did not”. He then offers to place the ice cream back on the scale. It has already been mixed and placed in a cone. I told him that would be ridiculous. He starts to get argumentative and defensive. The girls started to get visibly upset. I then proceeded to ask 2 Chainz to add more ice cream that I would happily pay and I advised them both that I would be contacting the owner. 2 chains then asks me if I am trying to get him fired. And I briefly explain that they were both lacking a significant amount of customer service ability and that they had turned a pleasant plan into a horrible experience. I will never return to Marble slab and I have already posted my experience on social media.

This is the worst marble slab I have ever tried...and I am a marble slab regular for 8 years( Kingston, Ontario and Bank St locations) I have tried this location a few times and they are consistently lower quality, once they served me bad pineapple and I had to throw away the icecream. You can clearly see that the owner here is very cheap..they don't have many mix-ins and the ones they do have make you question their quality. ( He once told me that he can't have pecans in the mix-ins because they are too expensive, even though other locations had it), the walnuts have a very bitter taste compared to the ones you buy anywhere. They serve icecream that has melted and then refrozen as in the pictures, the cones crumble in your hands and it becomes really messy...My main concern with this store is hygiene and quality though, due to knowing that the owner is cheap and will likely cut corners. I have to say that the people that work there are very friendly and nice. Both my wife and I have decided not to eat there again.

Who doesn’t love ice cream ?! The last little while we have been ordering Marble Slab ice cream cakes for family celebrations. The staff at the Orléans location have been extremely helpful and able to answer all of our questions about allergens. We have been ordering the Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup Cake does not contain any gluten ingredients ( and so far and many cakes later our GF family member has been able to enjoy with us ) The other cake that has been very tasty is Chocolate Swiss with Skor Cake .. it’s the kind of cake that makes you want to go back for seconds !! ( it also does not contain any gluten ingredients) Marble Slab also has quite a good selection of ready to go cakes for any last minute dinner parties or just because you are craving ice cream cake !

Listen. Ya want some ice cream and you don't wanna hit some fancy hipster cesspool downtown. This place is the place to go. They have a SERIOUS selection of flavors. Stuff you never even though of. Freaking watermelon. Or my personal favorite Lavender. Its freaking bonkers how good it is. And ON TOP of you getting icecream you can subway it up via customizing it with a bunch of topping they offer. And they arn't messing around either. Get unicorn bark, chocolate pebbles and fruitloops mix it up. 10 out of 10 would cream again.

Went there with the family on a Saturday night really hot day trying to get some ice cream. Tweedledee and tweedledum were working they only filled up the ice cream in the cup up to the brim most ice cream places you go they actually top it up, apparently they weigh their ice cream maybe they should weigh it a bit more so that it actually goes over the cup. Also were hesitant to let me sample the flavors, then were missing the two main flavors that I wanted. If you know double chocolate is very popular why not order more? Average experience but the ice cream is good at least and the kids seem to be happy.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The 2 guys working there tonight were rude and didn't listen to anything I said at all. They had barely any flavors available which I have never experienced. And it was visibly dirty. I asked a very clear question and got looked at like I was crazy and told an answer which then he continued to give me attitude. He didn't seem to care at all and I left unhappy and without ice cream. So I will not come back here again as this is not up to the standards that are usually upheld here. Need new staff asap.

Ok, so for the taste and value, I'd come again, even refer it to a friend. But if I'd gotten here, and it was closed like it was for about 30 people who arrived at 9:30 to a closed store, I'd be very upset. I was still annoyed from waiting for the 20 min it took to make our order. Paint dries faster than our order took make. The ice cream was delicious though, all the flavours were full, the toppings were abundant and the kids enjoyed their very expensive cones. Change the sign of you're going to close early!

Amazing ice cream! So fresh and delicious. I like that it is mixed on a slab to keep it cold, especially during the summer. They have such a good selection of toppings and now that the toppings are unlimited, I don't have to make th what's decisions of which 2 to choose; I can have them all. I often use coupons when I go because it's a bit on the pricier side and I've never had any issues with using the coupons or my stamp card. It's definitely a treat but I would recommend.

Ordered a vegan ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday party. When my husband went to pick it up the store was not open at the posted opening hour. Very shortly after I received a call from the owner who personally delivered the cake to our home and was very apologetic for the mix-up. He really went out of his way to rectify the issue and we were happy to end up with the delicious cake to celebrate. Definitely recommend a visit to this shop! Thanks for the great service.

This had always been one of our favourite places to stop for ice cream. Tonight was our first family outing during the COVID era. Customers were great, staying outside, keeping distance inside, etc. I ordered for my family, and it was hard keeping them from touching things, but they did. My son even dropped his ice cream outside and the young man inside gave him another...so appreciated by all (especially a 3 year old now covered in pink bubblegum ice cream). Than you

Received excellent service here on Friday evening. As soon as we entered and started looking at the many options in the take-away ice cream freezer, a friendly young man approached us and started chatting about the products, asking if we had any questions, etc. Even with a coupon, it's a pricey product, but it is a high-quality treat and worth it for an occasional indulgence. And, as I said, the service is remarkable.

Attempted to go here on a Friday night at 8pm, we were told it would probably take too long to get through the online orders and that we should probably leave. Why is there only one person working, and why are online orders taking precedence over customers that are in the store? I feel awful for the guy working there on his own. I'm sure management pushes the ridiculous online orders above all else.

Yesterday we picked up a 9 inch Lion King Theme Ice Cream cake from Marble Slab Orleans and we wanted to say thank you very much to the Owner for a job well done. Our Grandson was in awe of his beautiful birthday cake and all the guests were very impressed! The cake was deliciousHighly recommend this place and thank you for your services⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Customer service was great. Super friendly and patient. And of course the ice cream was perfect. Also had a chance to try out one of their cakes on another occasion: cookie dough drizzle I think... waaaayyyyy better than any DQ cake I've ever had. Just excellent. It's been a while since I got treats from Marble Slab, bit I'll be back very soon.

I have been to the Marble Slab both on bank and in Kingston. This location pales in comparison from the standpoints of quality, portion size and mix-in options. Not only was ice cream portion less than desired, mix-ins were sparse throughout. Staff was very friendly but can’t overcome the main reason we went - to get ice cream.

I love this Marble Slab. Chen, the owner, is so kind, friendly, and knowledgeable, and has made great recommendations to me every visit. The store is clean, there are always new flavours to try, and the quality of the ice cream is absolutely phenomenal. If you’re going to splurge on nice ice cream, this is the place!

Went to this location for the first time today, and it will officially be my go-to ice cream store! The gentleman who helped us was very patient with my indecisiveness, and was great every step of the way. He explained the different features, the process, and ice cream flavours - Such a great experience …

What a phenomenal place! The owner was so lovely and brought my son his own banana ice cream to our table for free! He was so friendly with my son as well and my son just loved his time there. Most of the flavours are real fruit! This was the best ice cream I’ve ever had, we will most definitely be back soon!

Came to this palce two hours before closing today and they had closed their seating area. Its -20 outside and it's an icecream place, where else are people going to eat their product? The girl working there saw us not happy and leaving, and didn't even try to accommodate us. Hope the owners take action.

Ice cream was good. But a small was not as high as top of cone. For $8.65! They were out of waffle cones with dark Chocolate. When handed my cone there was no paper. The guy’s hands were right on cone. I asked if he’d used gloves. He said “no, but it’ll be ok”. What?!?! I only ate very top of it. Gross.

The ice cream and service are wonderful. Conversation and joy ensued as my visit progressed, the person who served my friend and I was very patient and kind, and I love being here. I definitely recommend this to so many people. Also, if you want some AMAZING tiger I've cream, this is the place to go :)

Ice cream is very unique and good, but customer service is horrible!! I waited atleast 5 min at the front while hearing them talk in the back. Then the guy proceed to ask “can I help you”. He also tells me I could ring the bell, that’s hidden with no sign. No energy or smile, basic manners was missed.

The ice cream is the best I have so far! It’s not too sweet and adding nuts to the ice cream is free of charge. The owner of the place was very patient and super nice when it took me a long time to decide what flavour I wanted. Definitely will come back soon with family and friends!!

Tried the vanilla oat milk ice cream and it was delicious. Max was extremely helpful, polite and patient serving my family of 7! Highly recommend this ice cream shop!

Stopped in here today with my husband and the man was super friendly and generous. He gave us samples without us asking, we tried the grape soda in a milkshake and a cookie dough drizzle. It was so creamy and good. Thank you! We’ll definitely be back!!

Nice ice cream! In addition, they sell cakes and ice cream sandwiches so you really can't go wrong here. The employee is very courteous and even if there's a lineup, he goes fairly quickly. I usually get the rocky road flavour in a waffle cone.

I love the taste of the ice cream including the new flavour, and the toppings are yummy I wish that I had ate an ice cream with the syrup, when is hot outside I can go to the ice cream shop that I always been to. Best ice cream shop 5 stars

Was with my daughter-in-law & we went for ice cream. This is the first time I've been to MSC. Alot to choose from but was very happy with my choice. However, I will need to go back to try the other flavours!!

The lovely ice cream cake I bought from Marble Slab Creamery was delicious! It was a special treat for a family birthday. The addition of raspberries mixed in the ice cream were a very nice touch.

Very yummy ice cream, but we got a "small" in a cup, which was SMALL and just sprinkles and chocolate chip and it was almost 9$!!! That's insane!
