Rude management, Incompetent employees. False pricing. Harassment for you if you look for correction. Today I was in the IGA store in Salabery Street. I was there, and I saw a bag of chips in the store with a tag indicating price of $2 just under it. I did the checkout, and at the checkout, the person told me that it was $5 and something, but I told them that this was there in the store for $2. They came with me, and per their assumption, there was nothing there for 2$ near that price tag! So they removed the tag. They didn't accept me, and a supervisor came in. We had a little bit of talking, and I was getting ready to pay the difference. Still, she told me to wait!!! The manager is coming. I waited until the manager came and before saying hello, before any greeting or talking to me and before asking me any question!!!!!!!!!!!!! he told me that he was going to call the police!!!!!! I got agitated, and I told him I'm a university professor please talk to me with respect, but he said he doesn't care and he is a doctor. Multiple times I asked him for his respectful manners; I told him I was talking to prevent this from happening for someone else. Still, he spoke with me with disrespectful tone with rude dialogues, and he was not letting me to talk by turning me his back in the conversation not letting me complete my sentences. They told me I could not leave the products in the store and I had to pay for them! Or they are going to call the police. I am very, very upset about this visit. I am so upset about this event today that not only I'm not going to go to the store anymore, but also I will never ever go to any IGA store anymore. Today I doubted IGA. They sell you the same product as other stores for a more expensive price and don't give any respect.

the worse supermarket ever. full of lies and heartless Back in December, I had gone to IGA with my common-law spouse to buy our daily supper as I was not feeling well, due to my back issues which I have been on a long-term disability since 2020 January 25th, while I went to get the soft drink my spouse was getting the meal from the counter, he saw a client accidentally spill his coffee, on my way back to meet my spouse I did not see the spill nor any caution signs, and slipped and fell on my back, the Manager came filled out the incident, I asked for a copy which he refused to provide, stating it was internal use only. their insurance guy came over to get my declaration for their investigation. and they declared that they were absolutely no reason that they should compensate me for the fall. they did NOT want to take any responsibility at all even knowing it was the fault of the associate whom was told numerous times to clean the floor before someone falls over it, no caution signs no nothing. i got a response of IT IS WHAT IT IS, horrible place

Un gérant surveillait des voleurs en riant avec un de ses employés Il regardait les caisses avec les files qui s'allongeait. Je lui répond d'aller aider un minimum et il m'a bêtement répondu : madame écrivez une lettre à François legault. C'est lui qui gère ça comme ça... On s'entend que cet homme est responsable du magasin... J'ai attendu 20 min à la.caisse rapide à 19h00 un samedi. Épicerie qui a malheureusement tout perdu depuis qu'elle a été racheté par la famille Tellier.. Trouvez les vos voleurs.. et fêtes sécher les clients qui font les files aux caisses. Plus jamais j'irai chez vous même si c'est à 3 min de ma demeure. J'irai maintenant au IGA Dumchemin!. Quand vos gérants sauront travailler vivre et respecter les clients j'y retournerai.. Ça arrivera sûrement jamais! Je vais passer le message.

Daniel, English speaking employee (who can also speaks french very well since we started the conversation in that language)...he is a top notch employee! I gave him a description of what I was looking for and he guided to a level of precision, down to the name of the product, I was blown away! To know what product and where to that precision shows a Management level compétence and I should know, I work as a project engineer and manage people. I left a good word and I hope he gets recognized, HE DESERVES IT!! He shows a level of professionalism that surpasses even some of the best trained Engineers that I've had the pleasure to work with...bravo Daniel!!

Customer service is uselless over the phone. Called to find out if organic BBQ chicken is available at deli section. Organic one is their new specialty and comes in blue label box. The lady did not even understand what chicken I am talking about, told me to wait while she is checking and simply hang up after 5 sec. Seriously? Eventually had to come in, wait in line outside (quarantine time) and see inside that organic BBQ chicken is not available. Nice job, customer support! Lines are us! Wash your hands, And wear your mask.

Je suis allée à ce IGA place Normandie dernièrement. Accès à sens inverse après 18h30 via la porte de sortie. Nouvelle configuration qui bloque accès aux allées, nous imposant de faire le grand détour par les caisses. Le comble... après tout ces détours désagréables, je me fais fouiller mon sac à main pour prévention de vol ,sous le regard du patron. Pas un sac à dos ou autre sac.... ma sacoche! Expérience frustrante et laborieuse pour aller simplement acheter à souper.

This IGA is terrible and half the time I have to go to another IGA to get items on special. They don’t carry as much products as other IGA’s,for instance they don’t stock flats of soft drinks and only 12 packs. I would show up at 9:30 a.m on a Thursday to buy some meat that’s on special in the flyer and the butcher would tell me to come later in the afternoon for my meat purchase. The employees do not look happy and I’m assuming that there’s a management problem.

0 stars. Disgusting service at the IGA bakery at Salaberry. I went 2 weeks in advance to order a personalized cake for a baptism. The cake was not at all what I ordered. Very sloppy work, cracked icing, not the same color from the order (i asked for pale green) vs on the cake. Unprofessional and unhelpful staff. Very inadequate. No cake for the baptism because of them and didn’t help me find any alternatives. Would not recommend their service. Unreliable.

If I could give a zero star I wish I could. Horrible store, horrible cashier ,, had such a horrible experience there which I will never ever go back because of it. Rude and I wish I had gotten the cashier name because never have I experienced such poor customer service in my entire life. HORRIBLE

Les employés sont très bien et travaillent fort, je leur donne 5 étoiles. Mais depuis le changement de propriétaires, il y a beaucoup moins de choix de marques et de qualité. De plus en plus de bonbons partout, partout. Je vais changer de succursale même si je dois aller plus loin.

Grande variété de produits, propre et les employés à la caisse sont super sympathiques (tellement rare)! Le seul gros bémol est l'attente à la caisse... Toujours de longues files car peu de caisses ouvertes puis malheureusement toujours pas de caisses libre-service en 2023.

Excellente équipe, et grande fraîcheur des produits. Grand stock disponible et belle sélection. Je fais un détour pour y aller, car mon IGA Duchemin n'est pas à la hauteur. Vivement que vous améliorez celui de Ste-dorothée!

You find everything there and it's clean! Pricey a bit compared to other shops, but the quality is good.
