At least there was a GF friendly option however I have to ask "who is it for exactly?" I've asked Plenty of places who believe they are increasing their inclusivity by having "gluten-friendly" products. 1) Anyone who is Actually Celiac can't eat it 2) Anyone who is Sensitive to Gluten but not celiac can't eat it 3) If & Only If (& yes in This case) the product is Made without the Offensive Flour Can or Will 1 be able to eat it. (Today the cookie was wheat & spelt free. I could eat it. Yippee Skippy...) Yes I'm That customer that Will wait until you go check the ingredients even though there are 10 in line-- and the kitchen is across the hall, down the stairs & at the other end of the building. WHY?? Well Not to Be annoying but You have a cookie I may be able to flipping eat & I haven't had any Treats in days that didn't come out of a freezer bag Or make my dam self. It's busy?? Maybe you should create a "dietary regulation " binder such as Other local businesses! . You could Pay me & I would Create it for you!! Right after I teach the staff to Use Clean Tongs for the Gluten-free OH MY BAD... GLUTEN FRIENDLY COOKIES! @##@%^$#! 3/5 THE Coffee Shop is great, though!! Fantastic. Great job otherwise! Just teach them How to touch GF items even if your establishment won't buy gluten-free products. Plenty of gf bakeries around!

I noticed the coffee shop as I was walking by and decided to give it a try. As soon as I entered, I immediately felt a sense of being overwhelmed. The staff did not exude a friendly demeanor and seemed to be somewhat irritated by my taking time to peruse the menu. Nonetheless, I swiftly placed my order and enjoyed my coffee within the establishment. On the whole, the place was well-maintained, and the music selection resonated with my personal preferences. Additionally, the coffee itself boasted a delightful flavor.

New, posh place to get your coffee on Elgin St. I got a drip coffee for $2.49. The best part though is they serve Mavericks donuts here! So good! Great quality bakery items to go with your great quality coffee. The location itself is great. And WiFi is password protected and fast for me while I was there. Also, this location used to be a Starbucks (since moved down the street) so it largely looks the same on the inside. It has a good amount of seating with tables, a high bar, and some leather chairs in the front. I think they probably could fit even more sitting in it if they wanted.

Honestly disappointed frequently when coming here. The iced matcha lattes just taste like milk and has never improved. Also I ordered a bagel with cream cheese on the side and the bagel was burnt and they could only offer me a spoon to spread the cream cheese, also no baked goods or scones at 11am. The cashiers are kind so I don’t want to ask for a refund but man I haven’t had a breakfast this bad in a long time.

Nice coffee and my wife likes their tea and sandwiches (she works right next door). Staff at this location are friendly and accommodating. I've bought their Ethiopian Yirgacheffe blend before to make at home and it's a real treat, though a bit pricey. They only lose a star because they don't open early enough. I would come here more often if they opened at 7 rather than 7:30. 7:30 is a bit late for me with my commute.

Eclectic little coffee shop which offers inside and outside seating. The location was perfect for us as it was near our hotel. We loved the name and said we would try it before leaving town - we were not disappointed! The staff was fun, interacted with patrons with genuine ease, and were very personable! Our Mocha and Coffee were delish so yummy! If I lived in Ottawa, I’d most definitely become a Happy Goat frequent visitor!!

Decent coffee shop. Nothing bad to say about the coffee and the donut I got, but the staff there was pretty unfriendly. The staff taking the order was on the thin line of either being nice or rude. She greeted me friendly and told me to have a nice day, but when I asked few questions, she was short and flat, that I would have to ask her another question to fully get an answer to my question. It seems that she wants to do the bare minimum customer service, but not more than the practical greeting.

They make a divine dirty chai! The service is great as well - the barista who took my order was very friendly and knew what they were doing. I would absolutely go back. It’s also worth noting that their food menu - sandwiches and pastries - has a good selection of vegan options (I’m vegetarian, not vegan, but it always makes me smile to see the effort).

I’m not sure I’m going to go to this location anymore. This morning the barista made a coffee for their friend, who was behind me in line & ordered the same drink, before they made me mine. That’s just bad customer service. But the staff there has changed lately and so has their service, sadly. Plus my dairy free mocha with tip was $8

Friendly service and very tasty seasonal menu. I had the caramel hot chocolate, which was very smooth, at the perfect temperature, had right amount of sweetness. Good atmosphere overall. Re covid: staff and coffee shop follow the required measures/procedures. Tables are distanced appropriately and proof of vaccination along with matching photo ID is required for dining in.

The place is nice, the ambiance is very cool and chill. Great spot for studying, good wifi, great late. However, when I went, they had no food, which is a bummer because it was very busy and many people were leaving because of that. Will give this place another chance for sure, days like this happens. Employees were great.

My apologies for a crazy sounding review I wrote here … I was in a rush writing two reviews at the same time…. This coffee house indeed has great coffee and great staff. And excellent service though the place often has few seats available. . But it is cozy and people stay for a long time working on their computers …

Lovely local coffee shop, great vibe and great coffee, lots of space to read and/or catch up with your pals. There’s a nice couch to cozy up. Not suitable for your zoom meeting, as it is quite noisy and the music is loud-ish. Outside seating is also available.

Our favorite goat location. Be sure to check the "specials" posted all over the counter. I'm not a coffee expert but they use monin syrups which goes a long way. Things can get slow here due to the popularity.

Two visits and two annoying experiences. First time I waited a good 15 minutes for a decaf Americano while orders after mine were completed. I had to go up twice to make sure my order was made. Turns out the person I gave my order to didn’t

  • Steve S

Perfect shot of espresso! This new location was full of people with an obvious appreciation for great coffee. The wait time was a little longer than average but there was 6 orders ahead of ours. If I have to wait an extra minute or two for

Usually a good experience but this morning the staff seemed `medicated``, working slowly, a bit forgetful. Drip coffee was warm, not hot, and a little weak. Scone was a day-old and supposed to be 50% off but the lad in the cowboy hat

Good coffee but whenever I ask for a cup, they serve me in a paper cup anyway. And don’t bother tipping: there is NO service. I asked for a cup this time and the barista just poured the cortado into a cup. Goodbye foamy milk More

Really great place to grab a coffee and catch up with a friend. Lots of room to sit, including a comfortable couch at the front. Good service, and the baristas know how to make a mean americano. One of the better spots on Elgin.

  • Jennifer Tang

This is my second time cooking here and I love their chai latte! It is literally the best I had and I’ve had chai lattes everywhere. The wifi is fast and seating is a little limited because so many people come

  • Amarjeet Singh

Loved the ambiance of the cafe. Tried their seasonal marshmallow oat latte, really liked the smooth texture. One can't go wrong with an oat latte anyways. Cozy vibe in the winters is just too good.

  • Andrew

The espresso was very weak. One of the items we ordered was an iced americano and the entire cup was filled with milk instead of water. And the panini was small for the price. A bit disappointed.

Overall a great coffee shop. Great coffee, atmosphere and polite staff. Very cool, warm setting to sit in, love the padded chairs, couches and bar area especially. More

Let me start by saying that I love Happy Goat coffee. I buy the beans and drink it every day. When out and about I look for a Happy Goat for my coffee.

  • Annie Xiong

Beautiful cozy cafe with vegan options. I had the tofu wrap and a lavender latte with oat milk!

Lovely place, awesome coffees, just too much space taken up by computer people. Other than this I highly recommend this pace ! More
