Envy Deli Cafe was a somewhat shocking return to Sydney prices after three and a half weeks on Pasifikan islands. Even without a mortgage, adding some much-needed Aussie bacon ($6) to my zucchini feta fritters ($22.50) did make it feel extortionate. Topped with a single poached egg, the fritters were fluffy and substantial with well-executed Hollandaise, a few sprigs of rocket and a smear of house-made tomato relish. Supplementing chilli scrambled eggs ($21.50) with an excellent Rodriguez chorizo ($6) protein hit again moved us beyond Sydney’s famous eat-smashed-avocado-and-you-can’t-afford-a-house index. However once again, against buttered (praise be) sourdough and wilted spinach, this breakfast ate nicely. Small, strong Toby’s Estate flat whites ($5/each) tasted great after island coffee, but I suspect most anything would. Where I do draw the line however was with the chicken and mushroom pies ($13/each) plucked from a nicely abundant cake counter. They looked appetising, had good fillings full of plump hunks of chicken breast in creamy mushroom sauce, but the super-short pastry was awful, both in flavour and crumbly, dry execution. Once bitten, twice as quick to go back to eating breakfast from our restocked fridge and pantry at home.

This lovely corner cafe is full of surprises. Walk in the front entrance and you are greeted by a range of house made cakes & cute treats for kids. Oh and the staff are super friendly too! Walk through this terrace to the back and there is more seating including a lovely outdoor section under a big jacaranda tree. It really feels like you are in someone's house, especially when you have the rice porridge, exactly like how a grandmother would have made it on the stovetop with no skimping on the brown sugar. Then there are the cakes... I am in love with each one I have tried. The flourless chocolate hazelnut cake is divine, rich, smooth & oh so naughty. The strawberry cheesecake is much lighter, a classic creamy, unbaked cheesecake with fresh strawberries on top. I also had to get some more cakes to go as I was tempted by all the choices so decided on carrot cake & the gluten free orange and almond cake. Both again were amazingly good. Super moist, the carrot cake also had chunks of pineapple and a good cream cheese icing. The orange almond cake is super moist with very strong orange flavour & indulgent. Coffees are great and service with a smile along with good food will sure give your friends food envy.

Great little corner cafe, filled with lovely staff, a suprisingly large courtyard area, gorgeous tree and homemade treats. FOOD: Great selection of homely cafe typical foods: big brekkie, sandwiches, salads etc alongside some stand out Envy chef creations. All fresh and served up well. They cater to gluten free, vegan and vegetarians. They're pretty reasonably priced too! STAFF: A huge drawback, a few years back a couple of the staff were that bad, I stopped going. These last two visits, everyone was efficient, friendly and warm. Cannot rate them highly enough! The have a South American guy in the kitchen and another guy out front (maybe the manager/owner) who are exceptionally friendly, competent and passionate about their jobs. ACCESSIBILITY: Prams, wheelchair access available at the side view the courtyard. I'm not sure the bathrooms would fit/suit a wheelchair. Free parking available on street or in shopping car park (2 hour limit, be warned, we were booked!) OVERALL: Love the homely feel of this place and the currently changing smorgasbord of treats. The shakshuka and gf Persian love cake were so good I forgot to take a pic!

Had breakfast with a 3yo here recently. Courtyard seating was lovely. My BLAT was not made with fresh bacon - definitely cooked a few hours earlier and straight from probably (not) a Bain Marie, because it wasn't hot. Fried egg was fresh. That cost us $22.50. Partner had 2 eggs on toast - but was only given one slice of toast. Served with spinach, which would have been a nice addition, except spinach was cold & straight from the fridge. No butter on the singular piece of budget toast. Toddler's meal was two eggs on toast - surprisingly, they had more on their plate for $14 than the adult's serving of eggs on toast ($21). They only give out one napkin at a time. Wouldn't come here again for the food or the coffee- it's definitely not worth paying $5.80 for a bland large flat white. It's called the jacaranda courtyard for good reason - you will end up with jacaranda flower stems in your coffee.

Had high expectations based on the reviews here. The cakes looked lovely and would go here for coffee and cake. Thought we were in for something special and this was a hidden gem of the Inner West. Ordered the eggs benedict with bacon for $18, my husband ordered the Envy but swapped mushrooms for extra toast, my daughter ordered blueberry bagel with cream cheese. The bagel came out, no jam so had to ask for that. Hubby got his with two small halves of bread slice so thought they missed the extra toast he requested and what he received was the regular amount for the meal. I got my eggs benedict but seriously the amount of hollandaise sauce was lightly smeared on top of the eggs which was disappointing for the price. Requested more hollandaise... what you see in the photo is with the additional sauce I requested. This is a normal expected amount and not excessive. Would I come back? Probably not. Better breakfast spots in Inner West than here. Free WiFi is great so coffee and cake is what I'd do here, not cooked food.

A little mediocre, I'd say. Their milkshakes may as well be flavoured milk, they taste fine but they really need more ice cream, I'd not bother with them. Their coffee is better but it's just ok, not bad at all but not really anything to write home about either. I had their burger and it wasn't all that great either, the salad was sad and bland, no idea why they bothered with it, the burger was fairly good, though. Nothing amazing, but nothing bad, I've had much better for cheaper, but I suppose you're paying for the location. And the outdoor garden area is, admittedly, really quite nice, it's probably the main draw for me, alongside the convenient hours. If you need a coffee and everything else is closed, they've got you covered, just don't expect too much, and steer clear of the milkshakes. Some of their cakes did look nice and I imagine it may be nice to sit down and have one, though take that with a grain of salt as I haven't actually tried them.

Went here with a friend as she highly recommended it. There is a nice seating area in the garden with a jacaranda tree - I must visit in spring to see the beauty of the flowers. The waiters could have been more attentive, not all the tables had salt and pepper, minor details on a busy Saturday, but important nonetheless. The food presentation was really fuss free, no frills at all, which I was quite surprised by. Call me old fashioned but if I'm paying good money for a meal, I want it to look prettier than it would coming out of my kitchen. Having said that, the buttered sourdough toast was amazing, I could have polished off a plateful of just that! The rest of the food was alright, nothing to write home about. I also got a green juice with apple, lemon, ginger and lime (I think), and that was the absolute best little refresher on a hot day. All in all, I'd only go back to see the jacaranda in bloom, not for the food in particular.

I went for breakfast today (Sunday morning), and I wasn’t impressed. I’ve eaten here only at lunchtime, and it’s always been good. Today the chilli scrambled eggs were tasteless. No amount of salt and pepper could make them taste good. There was zero hit of any flavour, including chilli. It came with two tiny pieces of basic white bread, no sourdough. It also took a long time for our coffees to come, maybe 15 - 20 minutes after ordering. Three of our coffees came at once, with the last coming separately a few minutes later. I could tell the coffee had been sitting, waiting to be served, as the top had thickened into a layer. And as expected, upon tasting the coffee, it was barely lukewarm. Another member of our party had the omelet which they said was overpowered with too much goats cheese. That’s the second time over hear the same feedback. I won’t be eating breakfast here again. Very disappointed.

I went here today with my sister and best friend as our bday celebrations started here before out lunch nearby. We walked in and we saw a lady there and she asked us how many and we said "3" ... she was trying to dry the table but we asked to sit on the other table that was already set. She put us closest to the table that was occupied by six people and the chairs had no room to get in and out from the table. My sisters chair was within 50cm of the other table. The lady was rude when she took our orders and she asked us what we would like. Her tone was cold and manner was abrupt. Poor customer service skills. No warmth. We got up and walked out. We used to come here regularly but not anymore. The lady was a tall lady and of Indian or south Asian origin. I am dissapointed in this experience because this place has lovely desserts but better to go to the Cafe near the chemist which is more friendly.

Brought a friend here for her bday brunch (Wed - which was not even busy) Greeted by a cold waitress with zero people skills. Instead of handing us our menu - she dropped them on the table. The whole experience was a complete let down compared with past patronage. Food was mediocre…. The usual ricotta pancake was unimpressive; with 3 pancakes, dollop of cream, dollop of lemon curd and a handful of wrinkly blueberries. When I asked the same waitress is there something missing?? she curtly retorted ..”no it’s always served this way” and walked off ( fyi - I’m a local regular and have had it few times and it’s never looked like that basic) Anyway - plenty more friendlier cafes around summer hill area - you really need to retrain your waitering staff and remind them what customer service is.

Great food and fresh juices. Love the outdoor seating under the tree, so that I can enjoy my meal and bring my dog with me. The staff are awesome and remember you by name, the sort of service that other places would be envious of. Love your work!

This is a lovely cafe. The leafy courtyard is great, and even on a hot day, it's surprisingly cool. I love that they do an all-day breakfast, and their specials often include lunch and breakfast options. They have sweet and savoury choices available for main meals, as well as lots of sweets and cakes for dessert or afternoon tea. The service is very quick and our food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The prices are a little higher than other similar places in the area. The breakfast special was poached eggs, toast, mushrooms and avocado for $18. Most items are between $16-22, kids items are cheaper. You can split bills here, which is good, and they don't have an EFTPOS minimum transaction amount, which is also good.

I have been in this cafe few times and staff are very friendly and the food is good. Today from the start I stepped in the waiter Peter with a rude behaviour offered me the chair just outside the door backyard in the street. I told him I prefer somewhere else. I was waiting long enough for ordering and he ignored me. so I called him but he went to the new arrival customers and the new guy told Peter that I called Peter and he should serve me first. Unfortunately Pater said does not matter, he would come to me later. I left the table and was looking for the manager to talk with but apparently the rude waiter Peter is the manager. I had nothing to say to him but it’s important to address it here.

Envy is a great place to stop and eat and enjoy the cortyard etc but customer service is important. The staff are great but I've noticed sometimes I walk in and the owners don't even welcome you. I'm sure like every business when you first open you are welcoming every customer but that should never ever change. Customer service to me is vital. I don't expect the red carpet but the owners should welcome all their customers. I'm a local and during covid I made sure to go with the mind of helping the business during troubled times. Many businesses were closing down. Now if the owners don't really welcome me as a local. I go across the road or I drop in only sometimes.

This is a great little cafe in Summer Hill. From the front it looks like there are only a few seats however there is a larger courtyard out the back with a beautiful tree in the middle. The Cafe serves an all day breakfast until 4pm(ish) with a full lunch menu as well. The cakes at this cafe are great, we didn’t have any this visit but have previously had the chocolate brownie which comes warmed with icecream !! The meals aren’t overly large, I had the pumpkin and feta pie that comes with a small salad and husband had the burger which had a small amount of fries in the side. Overall the food is good quality, it comes out quickly and the service is super friendly.

  • Stevie Melissa Grantham

Well stocked cafe with a nice coffee shop feel- bags of beans in corners, chalkboards marked with specials, cakes in clear glass cloches. Everything you'd expect. Service was friendly and the server was quite cheerful. Extra points for the barista bringing out my coffee, which tasted pretty good and which I'd rate. Ten bucks for a regular coffee and a biscuit though? High price to pay for my meandering into the world of hipster. Guy called me buddy as he handed me my cup and I wanted to scream at him don't call me buddy, because I find it extremely condescending. But I was visiting my therapist that day for my cPTSD and was more focussed on the therapy at hand.

I really like this place. The ambiance is terrific and the food is often delicious, so why only 3/ stars? Customer Service. There is a really terrific Irish(?) lady who is kind and efficient, then there is the younger staff at the counter who are rude and well, too cool for school really. My other gripe is that it's a tight squeeze, often made tighter by many, many, many prams (yes, I know, I too am a pram pusher) - however - I often put my pram back in the car so I don't take up too much room. Would be nice to see others do the same. Very popular local cafe.

Have come here a few times since moving to the area, and although a few times it was a miss food and service wise I've been back to see if they were just off days. But no, the food is average for the prices they charge and although the wait staff are nice, the manager (I can assume) is not all that. Came again on the weekend and while waiting to pay he was behind the counter on his phone - I had to get his attention to pay. I don't rate this place and will go elsewhere from now on.

Kind of a busy cafe on New Year’s Day, staff is alright not too much welcoming. All day breakfast menu and lunch menu don’t have much creativities. Ordered both dishes from lunch menu, taste pretty average, pulled pork wrap got a bit too much spices and burger is not even good as Oporto. Fries aren’t good as macca’s one, not even fresh maybe twice deep fried. Presentation is definitely not a cafe level. Looking around other people’s dishes, doesn’t look like appealing either. Won’t recommend if you don’t live in the neighbourhood.

  • Phoebe Elise Pearson

Visited today with some friends. Staff were very friendly and the menu on paper sounded great. The courtyard was packed on a busy Saturday afternoon so we thought, heck I'm sure this place is great. Unfortunately the serving potions were too small for their prices and flavourwise it was underwhelming. $4 worth of fries took up less then half of the plate and my friends burger was more like a sandwhich and served with nothing on the side. Would come back for coffee, but would probably not eat lunch here again.

  • Linda Lovely

The food does not justify the price. I had prawn linguine which was pretty tasteless and my friend had a burger with skinny chips (the most fattening kind). One coffee and a smoothie (small and also very bland) and we paid $70. Have eaten there before, had different food to today but it wasn't worth it either. Location, atmosphere is nice but you sit very close to others as they cram you in to fit more people. Bit like speed dating. Don't bother going here, it's expensive and not worth it. We won't be back.

  • Sophie T.

Nice relaxing atmosphere under a huge tree too many tables though. The breakfast is nice but the coffee even if you ask for hot coffee that doesn't happen. Many times its better to get take away instead of sit down. The chicken salad with betroot quinoa etc TOO MUCH fresh onions/shallots overkill. the betroot detox and the ginger orange drink TOO MUCH ICE guys we are paying for juice not ice .. relax. Paying for Ice basically. Remember One to two cubes of ice or no ice to enjoy the juice... Staff friendly.

  • JC Travels

Came here for lunch with friends. Sat in the lovely courtyard area. Menu has a nice variety for all day breakfast, lunch and drinks options. There's also a specials board for seasonal specialties. Also great range of cakes/pastries if you only wanted to drop in for a quick coffee. Prices were standard, and portion size just right. The staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a great little spot for a coffee and catch up with friends. Seems little a really popular cafe for the locals too.

  • Serenity Chan

Personally, I think this place is fantastic. My friends and I love coming here and sitting in the yard. The jacaranda is gorgeous especially during oct and nov. Mushroom on toast and strawberry cheese cake are the best. Every week I come here since this cafe is just like a siren call to me. 08/Jul//20. First time coming back since the Pandemic happened, everything is as good as always. Thank you for helping to get part of my normal routine back. Love the Vienna Bread and mushroom.

  • Judith Shuttleworth

We visited today for a birthday lunch. We ordered wine with lunch and had to ask 4 times for it!!! We finally got it when we had almost finished our lunch by which time no one really wanted it. No staff member returned to offer coffee or dessert. Again we had to go in search of staff to ask for coffee. When it arrived, it was cold. I am a regular to this cafe for coffee but have never eaten there and will never eat there again. It was atrocious service and no one seemed to care.

  • Cereloran

The apple crumble muffins are the best muffins to grace my tastebuds Everything about this place is great, just head around back to the jacaranda courtyard and you'll be sweet Be warned it is a premium restaurant and as such the food is upper middle class and the prices reflect that. Very rustic feel highly recommended!

Went for brekky early Sunday morning...quiet, 5 staff behind counter, manager sits next to me and starts doing his paperwork. 10 mins in manager hands me a menu and I have to ask him for a coffee. ...Coffee arrives, I finish it and fifteen minutes later with menu still on table and no one asking for my order I get up pay for coffee and walk out. I love how some of these places complain that business is getting quiet while the great operators are thriving.

  • Nui Eaton

Envy Breakfast is consistently good which is why I keep coming back every week. The juices are good too. Service is fast and the staff and very friendly and helpful. If you sit outside you might get some leaves blown in your drink but it comes with dining outdoors in the lovely sunshine. It's easy to rock up with 2 people but if you have more you should book in advance. The atmosphere is couples and family, so expect prams to he parked nearby tables.

  • Wendy Ding

That’s my favorite cafe cafe in summer hill. ☕️People are friendly and food are awesome! Last time my friend and I both ordered iced chocolate which were too sweet while the staff saw we didn’t finish them, came asking and finally refunded drinks for us even we said that’s not a problem. They both have indoor and a backyard outside which is nice to have brunches in autumn and spring☘️. Can’t say how much I love it any more.

  • Claire

Nice place with seating inside, out on the pavement fronting the road and out the back in a lovely shaded courtyard. I was there for breakfast and they have a good selection of breakfast items and offer the breakfast menu all day. Inside the ambience is very comfortable in the style of a European cafe with timber panelling, but with large windows. They have an enticing display of muffins, slices and friends at the front counter.

  • Jo Bargon

Fabulous customer service - totally happy to alter their menu to accommodate gluten and dairy free requirements. I had a very tasty burger- without the bun and cheese. Also did a great chai tea with almond milk and honey. The lovely lady serving us also thought to bring us a high chair for my baby nephew without being asked. The garden courtyard out the back is a lovely place to sit and chat with friends. I’ll be back.

  • Simon Fielder

An excellent cafe. Set in the rambling dowonstairs of an old corner shop this cafe has character, great food, great coffee and heaps of charm. The outside courtyard is wonderfully shaded in summer yet still sheltered enough over the cooler months. Ample parking behind make this an excellent venue. And did I mention the coffee...and the cakes. An impressive selection baked freshly on the premises. Highly recommended.

Waiting for my wife to finish shopping and wandered into the Envy courtyard in summer Hill. The courtyard is lovely and welcoming with seating under trees as well as inside. Enjoyed excellent coffee and a yumminess of carrot cake with, of course, whipped cream and ice cream. So good I retuned a few days later with wife and friend!

Can’t count the amount of time I have traveled to eat here. Today on Mother’s Day was one of their busiest days! With double the tables, they were still able to keep up with the pace. Wait times were a little longer but the Peter manager with his awesome crew handled it like legends. Thank you for the continued level of amazing food that you deliver along with your excellent service.

  • Jessica Toomeh

I had my baby shower at Envy today and the event was excellent. The staff were professional and accommodating and the food was beautiful- especially the Greek coconut cake! Naturally the coffee was also wonderful. Peter and his lovely wife Sophie made everyone feel at home and were happy to work around my guests and I to make my occasion run smoothly. I can't recommend Envy enough.

Envy is our favourite cafe in all of the Inner West. We had our post- wedding brunch here and our 30 friends and family loved it too. It's our weekend regular. The staff are like a big family and the food is always fresh and fabulous. They never get orders wrong, the coffee is delicious and the atmosphere of the whole place is addictive. You can't beat Envy I dare you to try!

Very dog friendly area, staff was super tentative to us and our puppy especially since we were the only customers with a puppy on our brunch date, we asked for some water for our puppy and they were quick to provide us with a puppy bowl filled with water. Drinks and food were quick to come even with a very full place. Would definitely come back many times!

Have been to Envy Deli Cafe many times and always found the food very exciting well presented , the wait staff are very pleasant and helpful. The place is always packed which for me is a good sign . They have a kids play corner , wheelchair friendly and two very clean toilets Available. So if you have not been already it is well worth a visit

Went for Sunday lunch today- we ordered the chicken pot pie and chips to share. Pie very nice - homemade-yum. Coffee was just ok- lacked crema. Service was the most annoying with the main guy on the floor, more interested in anything but hospitality. 3 stars overall- will give another try at some stage. Also some music would be good as well.

Wonderful outdoor courtyard, great menu, quality food for reasonable prices try for yourself!! I had their Peri Peri chicken burger with chips and the Mango frappes was the best in town!! Great friendly customer service team who are always very kind & helpful. You can even tag along with your Dog as it's a Dog friendly place to go!!

Within their control: - mocha is great. Rich. - scones are doughey. Remember - you should always quality control your product before sale. - service is good - all water cups dirty Out of their control: At the time of review, there is a strong urine smell coming from next door. The staff said that it was coming from pipes next door.

I have been people watching at Envy for many years. The cafe is family owned and run by the nicest people. The outdoor garden area is a grounding nook to sip your coffee with its majestic jacaranda in the middle of the courtyard. The food is amazing. Mushroom on toast, scrumptious cakes: Persian love cake, carrot and walnut... yum.

Best place in summer hill for a coffee and breakfast. Thr spanish omelette has kept me coming back for several years after moving out of the area. Coffee and service are great. Cosy, lovely little cafe with an outdoor garden area. Great food, competitively priced and a lovely atmosphere. Also the sweets are to die for.

Near the train station, and ample public free parking. Restaurant has multiple sitting areas, and you can choose from indoors and outdoors. Has pastries, muffins and cakes ready to order. Popular for breakfast. Service and food was both good. Can add vegetarian varieties to menu, and this may draw more customers.

Rude, surly waitresses who were not at all interested in taking our orders. Everything was too much effort. Food was mediocre at best and overpriced. The scones were truly awful. The only pleasant experience was the courtyard but will not be returning and will be telling others how much this Cafe has gone off.

There's a great little courtyard out the back which is perfect for any weather conditions. It was raining when we went, but were still able to stay dry in the undercover area just off to the side. I had the omelette with feta and sourdough which was delicious. The coffee was also good. A pleasant experience.

Great food and exceptional service. This is a well-oiled machine that never lets you down. I am a big fan of the many, many, amazing cakes that are baked on premise. The owners are very friendly and excellent at what they do and it's clear they look after their staff also. I highly recommend.

  • Shawn Mish

Friendly staff did well in peak lunch period. Menu has a good range. -1 is because food and drinks are pretty good, but not great (some items over flavoured, others quite bland - 3 of 3 people at our table experienced this with their dishes). Lovely rear courtyard under a Jacaranda tree.

Beware Cafe Envy surprise 15% Surcharge!!! We had a wrap and B&E on toast with coffees. Took quite a while for such basic fare to be served but given they were one of the very few cafes in the area actually open on New Years Day, I suppose we just have to accept at least they’re trying.

  • Hitesh Mahesh

The coffee is soo good over here! Great brekkie & lunch options too. Sit in the backyard on a nice day & enjoy the atmosphere. Will be coming back!

I had the Salmon fillet for lunch, and it was not very enjoyable. Still borderline raw in most parts, first and last time for me at this cafe for food.

Stopped in here after a nearby appointment. Excellent coffee and the fluffiest scones I have had outside a CWA stall at a country fair! Staff were very friendly too. I’m definitely coming back.

Coffee and food was great, and I particularly want to thank the waitress who was so kind to us today when my friend had an ‘episode’. You were so helpful and gentle with her. Thank you so much for coming over and getting involved in keeping her safe while she recovered.

  • Allanah

This place is popular but I just don’t love their coffee. The people that work there are very nice, however I find the customer service really hit and miss in terms of attentiveness. The cakes are lovely but the rest of the menu falls a bit flat for me. Nice courtyard.

  • Rebecca Williams

Friendly service, wide selection on the menu, meals arrived quickly, great Toby's Estate coffee. Outdoor seating available and dog friendly, even offered our puppy a bowl of water! Great corner location, seating available at back of cafe in shade under a huge tree.

  • Quincy

We ordered the Envy (big) breakfast and Spanish omelette. We were both really impressed. The food is definitely well above the average for cafes in the inner west area. It's also a nice little courtyard setting and dog friendly. I'll definitely be coming back!

  • Ana Norte

These guys are awesome. Had my birthday brunch here with 20 pp and they were very accommodating despite being packed. Food is delicious and no matter how busy they are they always greet you with a smile. Nothing is ever too hard and very dog friendly space.

This is one of the best cafes In Summer Hill. The back outdoor seating area is relaxed and leafy. There is also an indoor outdoor room if the weather is not so good. The food is always yummy and the service excellent. I’m a repeat customer with good reason.

  • Lucy

Great for coffee, brunch, lunch and cake. I came because it's the closest cafe to my home but I keep coming back because the food is good, the service is swift and there's always a nice vibe. It's an ongoing struggle not to order one of the delicious cakes

Go to the back for brunch. A Summer Hill gem. Staff were friendly and helpful in ordering. Food is great too! Great quality.

Had breakfast there today with my partner was just mind blowingly awesome....I had the envy and she had the smashed AVO with fetta and everything was cooked to perfection....the coffee is by far some of the best I have ever tried..... Highly recommend

  • Ivan Greguric

Went for the first time in a few a years, and the food quality has dropped significantly. Our salad was inedible (drenched only with oiled, not dressing), and other meals looked good, but were tasteless. Wont be going back again any time soon.

  • M P

If you want to dine in, be prepared to remortgage your home to be able to pay for the bill. The prices on the menu are ridiculously expensive! not to mention the cost of a coffee if you wish to dine in. Be prepared to pay a double surcharge!

  • Ingrid Lenert

Pretty average experience unfortunately. Staff were friendly but my partner and I didn't think the coffee was great (there is much better coffee in the village). I also ordered 1 small scone which was expensive ($4.50) and asked if they did

  • Juliana Grützmann

I have been going regularly to Envy for over a year now and I absolutely love it! The staff is super friendly and service is generally very fast as well. I can’t recommend the pancakes enough. They are hands down the best one I’ve ever had.

  • Anastasia Sh

Open for coffees until like 5! Small inside area but great courtyard. Always really lovley accommodating staff. Prams are better in the courtyard but it's still a tight fit so you wouldn't want more than 1 at your table.

I ordered from the children's menu and still ended up full. My mum got a chicken burger (naked - no bun) and it was really tasty. The staff were good too and our food and drinks didn't take very long even though they were very busy. The

Never had anything bad here! I'm usually there for brunch and get the blueberry pancakes with lemon curd and maple syrup or the Spanish omelette with chorizo and goats cheese. Their cakes are also great, in particular the apple and date

  • Heart2heart Customerfeedback

I like the food here and have gone back a few times but feel that meals and cakes are pricey for what you get. Overall the meals are o.k ( we had eggs Benedict, sourdough toast with mushrooms, fig sourdough with ricotta, pancakes, large

My favourite local cafe. Great breakfast spot, food and coffee on point. In house baked muffins are awesome too if you’re not after perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. Beautiful jacaranda tree centered in the courtyard a bonus in spring.

Lovely cafe on the corner with lots of outdoor seating and 2 indoor seating areas. Nice brunch or lunch menu, coffee, smoothies, cakes and pastries. Make sure you're hungry when you go!

Great food, good coffee and freshly made cakes. I like the outdoor seating area which is great during the warmer months as its well shaded and cool. The cafe is kid and dog friendly which is a great plus and the service is prompt.

Great atmosphere, pet friendly, beautiful outdoor courtyard. The menu, service and food are good, but not outstanding, it is the beautiful setting that makes this cafe 5 star. Pets are made to feel very welcome too.

  • Champ

What looks like a little cafe tunes out to be a lot bigger with a great outdoors/backyard seating. The beef burger was not too bad, pumpkin tart was good but the prawn linguine was not too good, it was like a soup.

  • Elie Ibrahim

Had a very casual breakfast here as you can see pictured. Busy little cafe, but service is good and the menu caters to all needs. Coffee was perfect. Prices are reasonable. Happy with my experience and will return

  • Gabriel

I love this place. Lovely people. Great food. Interesting options. Great coffee. Just everything and anything you could want in a great cafe. Probably the best in Summer Hill easily. Highly recommend coming here.

Great coffee and fresh juice. Trendy. Quirky. We love the food and atmosphere. Peter and Dylan, friendly folks working hard all day to make the public happy. Thanks for the great experience and fabulous service.

  • Grace Lacoba

Amazing coffee, friendly and speedy service and fantastic, quality meals. Love sitting outside under the tree. Overall, a unique dining experience. Also - added bonus - great accessibility for Mums with prams.

Coffee good, outdoor setting lovely. Nice chocolate cake but ice cream was melted when it was given to me. Sandwich and Benny average. Béchamel sauce on sandwich tasted like flour and had zero seasoning.
