We purposely came by for an impromptu brunch. The parking area around the garden center was quite full but we did manage to get a space. We didn't have a booking but was able to get a table without much of a wait. We were seated in the balcony area which had a nice view of the garden shop below. The menu was quite interesting and grabbed a few items to share. The chilli crab omelette was quite nice with creamy egg surrounding the tasty crab meat. It wasn't very spicy though. The curry ham hock benedict was a special breakfast item and was very interesting and tasty. The curry hollandaise covered the eggs and had pieces of ham hock all over it. It was an interesting combination and quite nice. It was a very nice cafe for tasty food.

This place was packed on Sunday afternoon. They have about 80 tables scattered throughout a large house overlooking gardens and trees. The food had a large serving size, and a good range of choices. If you order the pasta it's enough to share between three. Rosewater milkshake was delicious, and surprisingly not too sweet. Lychee house soda was also well received. They sell pots and plants too but most people were there for the food and lively atmosphere.

Lots of parking, at the front, side and back. Road is a bit lumpy at the back near the pots online shop.
Kid-friendliness
Lots of kids inside, and several visitors with well behaved dogs outside.
Wheelchair accessibility
The entrance is easily accessible from the front carpark, no steps and a wide entrance.

We have been to Wildpear numerous times over the past 2 years since moving to the area and each time has been an exceptional experience. The food is incredible with fantastic serving sizes and the atmosphere is relaxed but upbeat. We will be back again.

I’ve been here twice with my vegetarian sister in law and she’s always found a delicious option.
Kid-friendliness
We have a toddler so it isn’t the first place we’d go with him now that he’s very active. There isn’t space to run around for kids. I haven’t checked out the change table options.

We’ve been eating at Wildpear for years and it never disappoints. We had the vegan Nourish Bowl with sweet pea falafel and it was amazing. We also ordered a dish which was basically hummus with a side of pita bread that was fried. The hummus was so amazingly delicious it was out of control. It was too much food to eat though, so we had to get it to go. You won’t leave hungry! The chai oat milk lattes were delicious too! It was pretty noisy in the back main dining room. If you want a little more quiet, I’d recommend sitting in the front outside of the restaurant. Parking is a little crazy. Service was great. Really sweet attentive staff

I had a lovely experience today at lunch. I'm not sure what our server's name was, but her section was at the back of the deck near the kitchen around 2pm (14/1/24). Her service and attention to detail is incredible and she is a credit to this cafe. The kind and attentive care taken by all staff is incredible and keeps customers coming back, not to mention the incredibly high quality of food!

This cafe can get very busy, so keep in mind that there aren't too many parking spaces and are quite tight!

This is true hidden gem. We booked for Sunday lunch. Always try to book ahead as it gets really busy. Service was prompt and attentive, despite being so busy. The food arrived quickly. The beef burger was good but not extraordinary. The pate felt a bit on the dry side for me. But everything else was excellent. The Halloumi with honey and rosemary was delicious. The prawn pasta had a surprisingly good chili kick. We didn't spare a drop of the sauce. The standout was the dessert, seasonal bread and butter pudding. The brulee top was unexpected but brilliant. The setting is serene and picturesque. The decor is perfect and the staff are excellent. Highly recommend.

Everything was great, the food, the service, the atmosphere, the view. The only problem was we ordered Chicken and Green Mango Salad as one of our dishes but there was no chicken. We mentioned it to the cashier while paying and she was kind enough to give us a discount but just thought I would mention it here. Otherwise all good

Came to Wild Pear without booking as we went to a fair up the road and saw this place on the way back. Got a table very quickly and Olivier looked after my wife and I. Olivier was friendly, professional, attentive and just - nice. We had large cappuccinos and a sticky date pudding with ice cream inside. Olivier said it was yummy and she was correct, my wife and I shared it and loved the beautiful flavours. Go to Wild Pear and enjoy the experience.

Lovely little cafe. Located right next to a nursery, that is worth spending time in before or after breakfast or lunch. Try and get a seat on the balcony outside out the back with a view of the nursery. We arrived about half an hour before our reservation time and the staff managed to seat us, so they were accomodating. Food was lovely. I had the Middle Eastern plate, my wife the King Prawn Aglio E Olio. The King Prawn dish has a real kick to it with plenty of chilly, too much for my wife so we changed dishes around after only a few bites in. Flavours were amazing though and we loved the dishes we ended up with.

Amazing portions! Worth every dollar spent. Wonderful atmosphere and the staff very attentive and pleasant. Very accomodating to the dietary requirements we had. We had the chicken pear salad ( very hearty and my favourite dish) it was filling, warm and enjoyable to pick and create each bite. The beef cheek cróquets texture was amazing but lacked a little in flavour. Caramelised onion and gruyere toastie was delicious and was so sweet it could’ve been a dessert! We couldn’t finish everything. Will definitely be back to try other items. The Turkish delight pavlova looks interesting.

  • Dean Kulaweera

Absolutely great experience here. Staff are very friendly and polite, and the food was fantastic. I ordered the Mediterranean Plate (I think that’s what it was called) which consisted of lamb and chicken skewers, and it was delicious. Love the environment and ambience of the place as well. This Canadian will be back next time I visit Down Under!

If you're looking for a great atmosphere in the Sydney Hills area, I would recommend this place. The food is satisfying, and the freshly baked desserts are delightful. Above all, the ambiance of the place takes you away from the hustle and bustle of the city, giving you a feeling of relaxation and comfort.

Relatively simple menu. They strictly switch to lunch menu after 11am. Also it is quit pricy here. I really enjoyed the battered flathead here. Very light and crispy batter. Fish is fresh and tender. Great thick coffee. Reuben sambo is pretty on point in the meat amount department. But the meat is not salty enough so sandwich got pretty bland.

Lovely place tucked away in a nursery. Beautiful and cosy ambience. Very crowded on a Sat morning, good to make a reservation. We sat indoors near the windows and the staff were very attentive and drew the blinds to block out the chilly winds. Friendly and fast service. Food and coffee were delicious.

A popular Cafe in a nursery. It was very busy, but with friendly staff and delicious well presented food you can understand why!! Great for small or large groups. A good variety on the menu, so hard to choose you will need to visit a second time! Word of warning there is no internet so the teens won't like it.

We had breakfast there on a busy Sunday and everything was perfect from food to service, they had enough floor staff so we weren’t overlooked due to being busy like most other places you go on weekends. It’s a little bit pricey but definitely value for money, servings are big and quality of ingredients is high. Highly recommend

Great food and beautiful view. Coffee is awesome. Just one issue that also had it last time, the water glasses smell like egg. Probably the washing process should improve. Their Persian Orange Cake is a must try.

The French Toast breakfast plate was awesome this last Sunday. I’m back and about to try the Pancakes…which were a little burnt on one side but otherwise nice. I would go with the French Toast as I loved the way the peaches are roasted. More

The venue was renovated beautifully after the lockdown. It’s always a popular place for friends to meet up. The food was alright but not as good as before the lockdown. We were a bit disappointed by the staff service. They might be over

Great food overlooking a nursery. We went there on late Sunday morning. It is easy to get a parking spot in the nursery area with people coming and going it was not too much of a problem.
