Exemplary! Both online purchase and in-store experience. The item arrived quicker than had anticipated. The item was what I would call, advertised as an under promise however an over delivery, rather than an over promise and under delivery. It was exquisite and more beautiful in real. Good varieties but the staff at clothing section was unprofessional and rude. I love shop there. But if me and my friends see the guy at clothing section, we just walk out. It's a suggestion for the owner if the staff's customer service remain same you definitely loose a lot of customers. Me and my friends been there many times for clothing but walked out without buying anything and move to the next shop. I have been purchasing from this book store since I was a child, the reason for this is because of the service, and wide range of books and perfumes. Brother sulaimaan helped me with many decisions and recommended so many products that I will be returning to purchase very soon. Wonderful service. My sister and I love this place because of its fun/educational ways to teach the younger generation about Islam. The store has a variety of books about marriage, women in Islam, Stories of the Prophets (as), history and biographies, science, psychology/mental health and many more! All written by amazing people/educators/scholars/doctors etc in the Muslim Communities from all over the world; definitely worth a visit :)

I have visited the place many times, alhamdulliah. The men, who run the store are very patient when question are asked, may Allah swt bless them. The books, are amazing subhanAllah, from kids books, to hadiths, Quran in english and arabic, books about death, teh concequences of backbiting, and many more. Went there this morning to have a little browse and walked out with a book for me and a few things for my kids. The workers are so lovely, and were so welcoming and so eager to help with any queries. Definitely one of the best Islamic bookstores I've been to. It is has a a massive variety of books, awesome workers and other amazing Islamic finds especially for kids. 5/5 Keep up the great work guys

In a time when most bookstores have closed or gone online only due to giants like Amazon, it's fantastic to see some niche stores still providing great services to the community. They are one of the best bookstores in the greater Lakemba / Bankstown areas and offer a very efficient online delivery service. They also have honest and hospital staff.

A standout feature about Darussalam in Lakemba is that the brothers provide consistently good customer service. They are genuinely friendly, always greeting customers and asking if you need anything. Overall a welcoming atmosphere. There is also a great selection of literature at reasonable prices, with a great children’s section too.

Super friendly and helpful Staff. I have been a regular customer of this bookstore, and everytime I received exceptional service,. in particular from Suleiman I made wrong purchase and when I contacted them they happily replaced the book for me. Their Oudh range is awesome, try Arabian Musk and Coconut Love oudh oil for men.

Very well organised and presented bookstore. Also has clothing and other items. Items are of high quality and prices are reasonable. We found the shop attendant to be very polite, friendly and helpful. We have been shopping here for a number of years and but books in bulk for schools and private use. Highly recommend it.

This place is a source of islamic knowledge. Can be a bit crowded at a time too. A bit narrow and squezy especially back site, not really ideal for female buyer to go there on their own though. Helpfull staff and the smell of this shop remind me of Mecca …

One of my favourite places for authentic ittars and a wide choice of books on Islam. The brothers there are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I am not a muslim but very fond of reading and they always suggest good books that I can understand.
