Stay away from this place, waste of money. chips cold and soggy, fish burger has end bits of tomatoes, and haphazardly put together. lettuce wasnt even cut properly as there were big bits still. coke ordered wasnt cold and potato scallops were soggy as well. big disappointment, will never buy from this place again as the people who run this obviously did not care about our order.

Old oil - expensive chips We only ordered chips. The colour of the chips looked rancid, it was a bright Fluro yellow. It smelt like old oil. We asked for chicken salt and there was hardly any. We also ordered 2 sauces with it. A medium chips with sauces came to $10. The chips were inedible.

I ordered grilled octopus via doordash. It's $19 but the portion is too small and too salty. It's not worth for $19 and I can't eat it because it's too salty. Worst delivery food ever. I'll never order it again. About Calamari Rings, only 6pcs (not 8pcs).

Bought a large chips and 5 fish cocktails. They put the 5 fish cocktails in with the large chips so the large chips was basically a small. Should of been packaged separately. Not sure what oil they used or how clean or old it was. But all 3 of us who ate them felt sick afterwards and left a disgusting after taste in your mouth. Man was quite rude in the shop. Try somewhere else. Plenty of other options around

Ordered a fisherman basket. Food was absolutely disgusting, caked in so much batter I could not taste anything. Fish was miniscule. It is like the chopped up a cocktail and rolled it into batter balls. Please don't go here looking for some nice fish and chips. Your reward will be batter, oil and sickness. Seriously. I'm still sick from it, and most of it went in the bin. Disgusting.

Got hot chips, they were pretty good. Fresh, hot, crispy and salty. Good thick cut chips. They were ready pretty quickly. Staff was friendly. My one criticism would be that they were charging a 30 cent fee for eftpos under $15. Like, really? In a pandemic, penalising you for not paying with filthy, unsanitary cash? Come on, guys.

Best old school Aussie burger in Artarmon. In fact the ONLY place in Artarmon you can get a burger like you used to get in the 1970s and 1980s from milk bars. Remember them? Those were the days. And this place has really good prices too. $7 for a plain burger, with beetroot, and $10 or so for one with the lot. Beat that!

Great local fish and chip shop. Just a humble little place run by a small family. Been here maybe 10 times over the past 6 months. It's always consistently good and great value for money. The family who runs this place a really lovely. I'll keep coming here. If you're looking for a great cheap eat, come here.

After having bad experience at this shop once I said it's only normal to get one bad batch so I gave it another chance and ended up being worse! The customer service the food the shop being filthy both times I could definitely say I will never step foot in that shop again. OWNER SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF HIMSELF.

shop once a week over the weekend. One of the best chips i can say. Some of the traiditional fried are not my type. I love the grilled barramandi and the fish burger, they are so delicious. Staff is friendly, food are fresh and quick, very valuable with the current situation of inflation.

Best customer service ever! Kind, helpful staff and food is made properly and tastes really good! However, prices are really going up with inflation! I come from Westfield Chatswood- take the train here just for better fish n chips!

I've been having lunch here for years. Seriously the best hamburger and chips I've ever had. Peter is awesome! Always remembers how you like things cooked, and makes the burger specific to you. It's a bit cramped if you want to eat in, but I don't mind. Highly recommended! More

Purchased Barramundi (6 pieces), Calamari & chips. Barramundi was Barramundi in name only - tasted strange & was mostly inedible. Calamari was overcooked & again inedible. Chips were overcooked BUT edible. Overall wouldn't recommend - may have been one of their "off" days?

Best chips on Hampden Rd. Burgers are great (your traditional great value takeaway burger, not a $20 gourmet monstrosity) and the service is great. Seafood is pretty good but I think the burgers are better. The right price and happy to take orders over the phone.

Nice family run place but food is a bit underwhelming. Might need to give it another chance but the fish and chips weren't cooked great, and pretty oily. The batter was just not cooked through properly.

I just moved to the area with my daughter & ordered chicken nuggets & chips for her & a seafood basket for myself. Having a fussy little one she ate some of my dinner & it was great! Customer service was fantastic and their tartare sauce was to die for!

Pretty standard seafood takeaway - I really like the crumbed fish, and they do really nice chips too. Burgers are good, but "ordinary" (traditional?) - plenty of fancy burgers elsewhere these days - but certainly good value for money here.

Best fish and chips in town. The batter and chips are so crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside. My daughter thinks it is the best fish and chips in Australia, and we have more than our fair share of fish and chips.
