A great gallery space, have attended for multiple events and often find the space well utilized and works curated with comfortable spacing. The gallery is often accustomed to accommodating less than 50-60 patrons at a time, so it does get very tight, crowded and hard to navigate when the events round in the higher crowds of about 150-200 patrons. All in all, a delightful space and conveniently located just adjacent to Celebration Square at Mississauga City Centre, inside the Mississauga City Hall.

I went Mississauga art gallery on Thursday at 6 pm but nobody was there and the art gallery door was locked n i wondered when it says on google that Thursday timings is till 8 pm than why it was closed .i was really disappointed .i went there to see my daughter's picture that was chosen from her school to display in art gallery n it was last day .how irresponsible not updating rite time on internet .....what the use of that nice empty building without people.

I'm not a cultured man, I don't like wine and cheese, nor do I enjoy discussions on poetry, and I don't listen to classical music. So this way my first time in an art gallery, went with my girlfriend. Maybe I expected more from a free art gallery and I forgot that. It had mostly paintings, fairly small I thought. But I guess it was good, from a not so artsy guy I don't quite understand real "art" but I assume this was some pretty good art

Very pleasant visit. The gallery is small but it has interesting paintings on exhibition. The art work "FLOWING RIVER: LOTUS of THANKS" shows appreciation to frontline workers during the pandemic from the artists point of view. "Compromising Fears" by Michelle Taras is bright and full of feelings! Also, it was a great experience to meet Nisreen Askar who is the artist of the work "I SEE HOPE".

A sort of hidden gem of Mississauga, always has a interesting exhibit going on. Probably the only real issue is the size of the gallery which could be so much better if it wasn't so small; they can only fit one exhibit at a time. Price is free but they have a donation box with a recommended amount to be donated of $3 which is fair and reasonable. Good place to go on a rainy day.

Yes, it's very small but that makes it easy to get through and enjoy. Knowing that you don't have to Pace yourself or hurry to the next piece of art. Don't forget that it's also free (3$ donation is suggested). Good place to walk through on your way somewhere else at the very least and I like how they keep changing their exhibits (inviting local artists?)

We booked tickets on a Sunday and showed up to find out it was closed. Why were they providing tickets for a day that it was closed? On another occasion, I looked online and they said the gallery was open but when we showed up... it was closed. I don't understand why they can't provide accurate hours...

Art gallery is tiny, just a single room. But free admission and good to visit along with some event happening at Celebration Square. Current exhibit was lacking and not particularly interesting. I'd wait for a new exhibit to happen before visiting.

Great little gallery, visited first time. The theme was Earth and all the art was speaking of the theme from different perspectives. We were also videotaped for the project they are working on called Crossing Borders. What a fantastic initiative. I will always go back there when in the area.

Friendly and kind staff at the gallery. The space is not huge, but lot of different sections with modern and accessible features in the building. We found it bit challenging to navigate into the building. Perhaps some proper direction signs and label will be helpful for first timers.

More like an Art Room of Mississauga. Went with the family and took about 15 minutes to go through the whole thing, and that was with stopping to look at all the pictures. Not worth a standalone visit. But if you're in the neighborhood anyway, it's worth checking out.

Beautiful art on display at the Art Gallery of Missisauga. Absolutely loved the abstract pieces, and my favourite- Susan Low-Beer Water Colour on paper.. The gallery is much smaller than expected, but definitely worth a visit if you haven't been. Free entry!

  • Cecilia Mok

A very small gallery located right inside the Mississauga city hall! Doesn't take much time to walk through it. Well worth a visit. It often showcases a lot of work by local artists, and mostly contemporary art. Sometimes they have interactive workshops.

My posting is a reflection of my love of all art. Art Gallery of Mississauga is a must visit especially for their permanent art for eg,. The Group of Seven and Indigenous art on display. Lots of parking and amenities steps away in the huge Square One.

  • Skye Marchment

A free space to enjoy art. Great space to showcase local talent and learn about different cultures. It doesnt host a huge variety but it's a large space and gives you something to do, donations are accepted and the building is gorgeous inside.

Gotta give this place a 5/5. The exhibit with Hazel Mccallion's age progression, and the highly detailed photographs of Square One Mall's Santa were the real defining pieces that made Mississauga a truly remarkable and good place to remember.

  • Shahnaz Parveen

What a beautiful experience my grandson & I have been there. We met Artist Syed Iqbal and his amazing artwork about Our Libaration war with Pakistan and their ruling party. His artwork was the largest one in that gallery.

  • SYED RIZVI

Amazing place for Art lovers. Most of the time beautiful art collection can be seen under one roof. Quite and clean place with parking and toilets facilities. Very cooperative and courteous staff on welcome desk. …

  • Robin Bonkowski

Very disappointed in the size of the gallery. Promotional material was misleading in scope of exhibits available for viewing.

Might as well go to the high school's annual galleries. There are only very few works, very boring! But the good thing is, it's clean and quiet because no one is coming, and at least it’s free!

  • Thomas Brasch

This place is truly a hidden gem. It is an amazing public gallery with a variety of shows. I had the honour to be in one of these shows. The area is spacious and the staff a very courteous.

  • Hassan Hardy

Nice small gallery with rotating exhibits. Worth checking out if you are in the celebration square area.

Wow so cute little gallery perfect for kids as it’s small and the walk through doesn’t take long. It’s free but they have a little box for donations as well. Love and like

  • 香腸哥whatTOReat

Its free but donation recommended, the staff will look at you when donating Super small gallery but a good place to rest in between locations. Wish there are more artworks

  • Lyudmyla Pashkivska

There is a small collection of work. There are interesting aboriginal portraits and photographs of queer individuals. The other work is a bit more difficult to understand.

  • Mariam Hegazy

Very nice! The artwork was simply beautiful! Only suggestion would be to expand it...it was very small, my friend and I got through it in only like 25 minutes.

  • Chelsea Iheme-Hall

Super cute little gallery perfect for kids as it’s small and the walk through doesn’t take long. It’s free but they have a little box for donations as well.

  • Sami Khan

It's small. Like not medium small. But small small. So the experience really depends on what the exhibits are. Clean layout and well maintained otherwise.

  • Mark Bullock

AGM - been to some fantastic talks here, Yoga night, and several other events and had a blast. This place makes Mississauga much more of a warm place.

  • Patrick Gabriel

Well taken care up, although a little sparse. It would have been nice if they had more pieces. But the write ups they had on each piece was thorough.

  • Jay “Jay” H.D

As a staff member I feel welcomed and encouraged to do my best, the Gallery gives its best service and help to all those who attend the Gallery.

  • Sagar Bhatt Karia

AMAZING art exhibitions even if you're not an artsy person. Culturally significant, but I haven't seen work from particularly famous people.

  • Samuel Zhao

Doesn't deserve the name of "art gallery". Nothing but grade school level work. Regretted the suggested donation I made upon entering.

  • Bibiana Martínez

Las personas muy amablemente nos atendieron y nos invitaron a realizar actividades de arte. Motivaron a mis hijos a participar también

  • Nadine K

There's always interesting events or shows going on, including interactive ones. Great place to hang with friends or bring the family

  • Sarb Singh

It’s peaceful but very small. Nice 10 minutes to look around at all the art. Entrance is tricky and don’t think there’s parking.

  • Michelle Baker

It may be small but it’s always interesting! Took my niece and we really enjoyed ourselves. Don’t need more than 30 mins.

  • Herok Raza

No good collection of the art, small corner place. Instead of calling it gallery, they should call it kiosk.

  • J.L. Lee

Small and underwhelming, not too bad if visiting the library or square one and have some extra time.

  • Lynne Mack

Vivid colors. Climate crises, as usual a theme.
