St. Lawrence Park is a hidden gem along the waterfront trails in the Port Credit area. A relaxing walk or bike ride along the scenic lakeshore, a beautiful gazebo lookout, geese resting, gulls flying around, sails and kayaks come and go, all is amazing. The main issue is the parking spots, it will fill up very soon during the weekend or summertime.
Playground
There're swing sets in the children playground only.
Restrooms
There's no washroom facilities.
Picnic area
It's not a picnic park even though there're benches along the waterfront trails.

Great little park along the lake shore! This is a smaller side of all the lakeshore parks. It's worth a visit to sit on the benches placed along the rocky outcroppings and relax. Has a little gazebo should it get rainy. I got to see an adorable family of ducks move past and a few other forms of wildlife. Wear running or hiking shoes to climb to the rocks as there are several good secluded spots to enjoy the lake view without too many people around. Parking is street side for the most part.

Its a good place to sit and relax. We can enjoy the beauty of lake which is too cam and silent. During summer time, there are places where we can take bath, swim and enjoy playing in the water, but should be very carefull as its depth increases within few feets. The park is really romantic as it is on the sides of the lake. For those who photomaniac, its good to take lots of photos with lake background. Remember, should be very careful about the depth of the lake.

Another favourite spot to clear my mind especially at nights when the moonlight reflects beautifully off the calming waters of Lake Ontario. Seagulls, ducks and swans are often seen here. There are a few benches for seating but that should not be a big issue as one can also see on the low wall on the walkway (not the one acting as a breakwater). It is wheelchair accessible and paid parking is available on Port Street E.

  • Harshad Purohit

Good place to be. Less crowded on the weekdays and morning weekends. Way too much crowded on weekend evenings.
Restrooms
Public restrooms available at certain parts of the park
Dog-friendliness
Dog friendly park. Most of the dogs are on leash.
Picnic area
People often come with their own food and picnic setup. You might get to see food trucks as well.

This trail/walk is absolutely magnificent! The color of the water makes it worth the -10°C temperatures (just kidding, it was brutal). The sound, the silence, the wind, the water, all of it is surreal. Worth the walk. One star less for the us hoomans who make sure to add the nuisance of treating the area as garbage disposal. Not the fault of St. Lawrence Park though.

Really good spot for some hours to spend alone. Have some take out from restaurant nearby. Sit lakeside and enjoy beautiful sound of little waves. Sometime I also prefer to visit at midnight, it is so quite to sit alone. I also noticed fire crackers on some occasions. Those who like running early morning, you will many fellows over there.

Gorgeous lakefront park and (paved) trail that runs along the shore of Lake Ontario. Plenty of seating to be found both along the trail and in the various playgrounds and gazebos. Can get quite busy with COVID and everyone wanting to get out for a nice walk, so keep that in mind and bring a mask just in case!

Mississauga has a lot of places and this has to be on the top 10 places to visit. Certainly beautiful but we ended up going on a really cold day. Best time to visit would be in summer or fall when the weather is on your side. You can park on the road nearby for free and its steps away. Def9nately recommneded

St. Lawrence Park is a park located in Port Credit, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. It features scenic views of the lake, walking paths, picnic areas, and a marina. The park is a popular destination for locals and visitors alike and is known for its beautiful sunsets and picturesque views of the water.

Great place to go for a walk with the lake view. There are plenty of beach to sit. Parking is a task and it's full on weekends and you will have to struggle to find a parking spot. Paid parking is available in your nearby areas. You can get your picnic mats and enjoy the evening with food and family.

  • Sunny S.

Nice place to walk around and relax, there is a place where tides hit and water splashes.. Kids get to play around that area the only and a major issue is there are NO restrooms so you have to go to nearby coffee shops for using restroom although they are nice and let you use it but it fees awkward.

Great place to sit, chill and observe, or walk and bike. Every day is a different view. Summer time great for paddle, kayak, and more. There is a hot dog stand on one side of park, a small snack bar, there are many restaurants b4 entering so you can bring to do a picnic. Lovely place to visit.

I feel embarrassed for living in Mississauga for such a long time to only now discover this piece of serenity. It’s very well kept and incredibly even for the time of day we were there, so few people around. The water around this spot looks very clear and clean. Definitely have to come back.

  • Nameeta Kashyap

It is a great place for a walk or just to sit and enjoy the view specially in summers. I love the water and it makes the weather pleasant. Great evening outing place with lot of places to sit and enjoy the outdoors. Finding parking in evening can be a task but that is a problem everywhere.

  • Vivek Maurya

It was amazing as always. Lot of people were out for walks and some bikers too, all were enjoying the sun and cool breeze of the Lake. The park was clean and maintained as well. Please park on designated spots as parking enforcement are always around and you might end up paying a ticket.

  • Donald Yap

What a nice treat. A small little get away at the bottom of Hurontario. The folk living in the townhouses across the street must love having this lake front park and view. Great for coming out and reading a book. A bit small for a run or bike, but is part of the longer water front trail

  • Reza R

Nice little park, only 15 mins to walk from one end to the other, parking is very limited. The park has nice lakeside path for walking and stones to sit down and enjoy the lake. Also, there is a nice corner completely shaded by trees, very nice place to take some pics.

  • Amanpreet Singh Juneja

It was a fun walk, but the area was too quiet and good for a picnic with family and friends.
Dog-friendliness
Saw few people strolling their dogs.
Picnic area
It's quiet place where a family can enjoy an evening sunset with some snacks and drinks.

  • Karim

St. Lawrence Park provides a picturesque riverside setting, perfect for leisurely walks and picnics. It's a tranquil spot to enjoy nature's beauty, with well-maintained paths and ample green space. Ideal for a peaceful day out in a serene, scenic environment.

  • Nitisha Gupta

Nice view of water and CN towers with boats, ducks, swings for kids and a small area to go in the waters too. It was a pleasant day spent beside the big water body which was clean too. Good place to have picnics and also have a chance to go in waters.

  • shubs ava

Parking restrictions at the beginning of the road must display clearly to the car drivers. It is so confusing to understand the parking signs. I've got 2 times parking tickets because of not clear instructions on parking restrictions.

  • Larry Parker

Most relaxing and calm place.. Get relaxed here with your loved one !!! Greenery, Jogs, Playing Area, Photography destination, Garden with cool Lakeshore. Nice to see Such Beautiful Swan, Goose, Water sport, Boat, and Lake

  • Erna Imamovic

I love this place. Is few steps from the bus stop. All you need to clear your mind, charge your battery, meditate.. just sit there and observe nature. Even my 5 years old girl loves this place. Today we even saw two racoons …

  • J

Beautiful sunrise point. Very calm and peaceful. At night look out for racoons though Loved the late night stroll and early morning beauty of sky. Just perfect place for wandering souls like me to stop and calm themselves. …

  • Advocate H S Kohli

Enjoy the serene beauty of nature. There is also a steam whistle which till date is functional. One place not be missed when you visit Toronto. This place is opposite to residential area so at times parking will be an issue.

  • Becky Pan

Water smells however, nowadays you can't really find shores that don't smell. It is quite small but the views are truly spectacular and you can sit up close on rocks. Dispite these details, it is still very worth visiting.

  • Areeba Zaidi

It's a nice peaceful spot for a walk or just to have coffee by the lake I usually take my bike along the lake and relax Good space, clean, and very close to all the shops for ice cream or a quick snack if you want to

  • Porus Mehta

Decent little park with good views in Port Credit. I liked this section better than the faux light house, it's much more quiet and you are closer to nature. Caught a sight of a swan there one day which was nice.

  • Suwarna Oli

Peaceful and extremely beautiful. Nice park at Port credit, Lakeshore Mississauga. Only problem I see is people being careless and littering the place. So please be respectful and dispose your garbage properly.

  • Sarmistha Saha

Very pretty park by the Lake Ontario, good for a walk by the waterbody, has lots of benches at short intervals , thus making it good for seniors also, who can take rest after walking a while if they want to.

  • Lourde Rassam

Nice park to take a quick walk, clean and well taken care of. Not the kind of park that you can spend hours at; it is more for if you grabbed an ice cream cone and want to take a walk while you enjoy it.

  • Taranjeet Singh Bhatia

Nice and well maintained park next to the most expensive shoreline townhomes in port credit. They should build some restrooms for the park visitor. I see many people going to bushes close to townhomes.

  • Dean Heaton

Beautiful spot! The view of the lake is quite remarkable. However there are a lot of flying bugs. Detracts from the overall experience especially around sunset as you're constantly swatting them away.

  • Luba Rusin

Always a great little treat to take a bresk from the city. It does get quite busy though. So pick your time of visit wisely if you don't want to have constant anxiety about dodging people.

  • Ken P

Great place for a recreational walk.... Does get a little messy with few people leaving their trash behind. Nevertheless a fantastic place to spend some quality time strolling around.

  • Jeffrey Ofori

Went down early morning with my wife for a nice quiet sunrise very peaceful saw some people doing yoga as well definitely a place to go early morning before the bugs come out lol

  • Ramdas Menon

This is a nice park to unwind after a hard day's of work. There are seats laid all along the adjacent lake where one can relax. The entire ambience is serene and calm.

  • Duane Kendall Ph

Relaxing place to unwind. Not to mention their pet friendliness which adds to my rating. Get some fresh air here with your family and friends …

  • Sohaib Rizwan

Beautiful place to be around and has some nice restaurants around too. The sand gives a beach kind of a feeling even if its a very small portion of sand

  • Feryal Zafar

My kids love this place. Kids were so amused to see a a duck flipped upside down in the water. Two guys on jet ski came out of no where. Very exciting.

  • Alexandra White

The park has a beautiful walk way and multiple look out points, I sat by the water reading my book for an hour in October and managed to get a sunburn.

  • KEVAL PARIKH

Great place for evening walk. Large space for family gathering. Clean and Scenic place. Too many food places around, And the light house is a beauty.

  • Garima Dhurandhar

Beautiful small park near Port Credit. Visit at dawn and enjoy the pleasant sunrise. Connected to Tall Oaks Park, you can enjoy walking and cycling.

  • Ronak Tandel

  • Hana Ghazal

With my husband ❤️ we enjoyed our time walking around the lake. We recommend this place to have nice time with your friends . …

  • Wesam Yousry

A very quiet place on the lake. A bit of history there about "St. Lawrence Starch Company" that was established in 1890 almost at the same place.

  • Mohammad H

It's a Beautiful Place.. If you stand by the lake and close your eyes, all you hear is the sounds of natural. Waves after waves, so peaceful..

  • Anuradha Chordekar

Nice place for a quick stroll around the waterfront. There are four swings here and a few benches. Parking can be a little difficult to get.

  • Nicole Mason

So much trash/litter around the rocks lining the shore edge. Such a shame. Used to be really clean. Lovely view and gazebo to sit in though.
