These days choosing a car repairer and servicing company is a bit like Russian Roulette. There is always that doubt whether your mechanic has actually completed the repair or service of your car to an adequate and safe level. Adding to the stress of choosing the right company that will complete the task is the fear of the ‘bottom line’ costs and whether unnecessary ‘addons’ have been ‘factored’ into the bill. Trust ultimately becomes the key factor in the final decision when you eventually dial the number to the maintenance provider for your expensive investment. Peninsula Service Center became a leading contestant when we were researching online reviews for a new provider to look after our car. We were met with a welcoming, honest and professional attitude which extended right through the whole process, from the initial contact all through to picking up our expertly service vehicle. We felt informed, consulted and confident throughout the entire process. We were also offered a choice of either a courtesy car or lifts (to and from), which was welcomed and greatly appreciated. The final cost of the service was also a pleasant surprise given the prohibitive charges of the big car dealerships. All in all a worthwhile exercise and peace of mind experience from this company.

after 30 yrs with my retiring mechanic, it took me quite a few other businesses till I found these very professional people, first my wife s territory, replaced suspension and a full service done when id acquired the parts David had listed and shown on e bay excellent service and care. Lisa was my first contact and she explained how we worked from the log book, she even followed up with ford items they had done but not listed how goods that. a curtesy car made available also. my blower fan had stopped working and that was sorted with a switch which had burnt out. I am so pleased to have found this very exceptional business and know my vehicles are in good hands and the owners have integrity.

Great locally owned business. They are always willing to stop whatever they were doing & listen to your car issue. On two occasions I have dropped in at the business due to a car issue that has miraculously appeared. Even though they were not able to repair my car this because they are highly in demand on the peninsula and sometimes a week if not longer before they can book you in for repair. Both occasions the mechanics onsite were able to provide feedback on issue and a rough cost. When asked for recommendations of similar businesses in the area they provided me with a few, they did not disappoint. I was told about this business 5 years ago thru word of mouth. Keep up the good work.

Sadly, I had to amend my 5 star rating ... I had used these guys for many, many years ... even after I moved away from the area. I was always happy with how my car was serviced. The last time I was booked in I came in early, so I could get my car back in a few hours, as I had pre-arranged at the time of booking, something I always did. I was told, in a quite rude manner by a young man in the office, they were busy and couldn't tell me when my car would be done ... not good enough! I left and wont return. So much for my many years of custom.

We ran into some car trouble when our dashboard fuse blew while on our holiday in Rye. We called the peninsula service centre and despite being booked out for the next three weeks, David kindly told us to bring our car in so he could take a look at it. We are so thankful to David, he was able to replace the fuse for us and get our dashboard up and running in less than 20 minutes. Thank you again David for saving our holiday and helping us out even when you were so busy!

I’ve been taking my car to Dave & the team for the best part of 25years & they’ll have my business for the next 25. Can’t begin to explain the levels of help & assistance they have provided me over that time. Simply phenomenal Their new premises just around the corner will take them to yet another level of service for their customers. The country needs more small businesses like this. Keep it up guys. We have been taking our family cars here for years and can't recommend them highly enough. Always accommodating and willing to go the extra mile to get things done on time at a fair price. Dave is a great mechanic - honest and professional, and special mention to Lisa who has repeatedly gone out of her way to track down the best deal on parts for our quirky European cars. Just make sure you book your car in early as they are always busy.

If you have vehicle trouble-Peninsula Service Centre is the place to go! They have won business awards and its not hard to see why! The staff are friendly and professional. They are also licenced to do Road Worthy testing if required. Their prices for any vehicle repairs etc are terrific!! I will only go here! Had an emergency with my car, called Peninsula Service Centre to see if they could have a quick look, they kindly managed to fit me into their busy day and fixed a major issue within half an hour. Their professionalism was unmatched and their knowledgeability and generosity were amazing! Would highly recommmend to anyone needing any help quickly with their vehicle! Great people! Took the time out of there crazy busy day before christmas on a 35 degree day to have a look at my car to see what was wrong as it wasn't driving well. I concur with all the reviews. They were fair priced, efficient and just great to deal with. BTW after a big service the following day the "engine" light came on. They immediately attended to the problem and told me to avoid certain petrol outlets which was the problem. No charge and so prompt.
