The only plus is their location. Found them to be very unethical and illegal on multiple instances where they do not return minor amounts when paid in cash. This would be two cents or five cents, but they routinely do not return this difference saying, “no change”. I feel sorry for this business-model they have adopted to make profit. I would suggest everyone to avoid patronizing such places as they bring down the name of whole South Asian community in Germany. There are many more Indian stores in the area who deal more ethically and legally.

Accueil parfait, repas excellent, rapport qualité prix tres bon, un seul reproche : la veranda est tres bruyante, et cela nuit au plaisir du repas. Felicitations malgré tout. La qualité des produits est excellente et les prix sont très raisonnables. Les serveurs sont très professionnels et très sympathiques. Good things: centrally located, Indian groceries, can find fellow Indians (customers/store keepers) Bad things: expensive, few expired products, little untidy Behaviour: just ask for things if you can’t find, pay bill and move on. They are not into service to expect much. Because of very limited options and necessity I continue to shop here for Indian groceries. While there are other stores in city, its location (located at center of city) making it survive.

The staff is very very rude and unrealistic. One time i saw the staff unnecessarily scolded an old Pakistani lady to wear mask, when mask is not compulsory these days as per German Federal rules, and guess what he himself was not wearing a mask while scolding her. She looked at me very helplessly and i felt really sorry for her. Also need to be very careful with the products as they keep expired products on shelf.

I bought this chutney last Saturday. When my wife saw it she doubted that the packing wasn't the original from the company as it had a plastic with burnt marks on the cover. Today, when we opened the bottle his is how it came. So much fungus, totally spoiled. Don't have to say more as you can see its state in the photos. This is really disgusting, we doubt that it was opened and resealed in order to sell.

The place has lot of varieties for Indian stuff. From spices, food items to Snacks and Indian sweets. Also utensils. Fresh vegetables are also available. Please don't compare the prices with what you get in India, as you will find them obviously more, but compare with varieties and convenience to get them here. The shop accept EC card payment only orders above 10 Euro, below that they accept cash only.

Klein aber fein. War hier mir meiner indischer Freundin. Hier kann man gefüllt 100 verschiedene Sorten von Bohnen kaufen. Sehr viele coole Gewürze. Wenn man indisch kochen möchte, findet man hier alles, was man braucht. Auch sehr zu empfehlen indisches Brot (so wie Tortilla Wraps, nur 1000 mal besser). Bananenchips können hier auch erworben werden. Kommt einfach vorbei und stöbert mal. Es lohnt sich!

Die Produkte sind der Hammer. Die Kassiererin und ein weiterer Mitarbeiter waren jedoch sauer, als ich bat die Preise von der Rechnung noch mal zu überprüfen. Denn die Rechnung stimmte nicht mit den Produktpreisen überein. Es war nicht absichtlich von der Kassiererin. Allerdings ist bei Netto und Aldi auch keiner sauer, wenn er höflich und lächelnd auf einen Fehler in der Rechnung hingewiesen wird.

They are selling expired products specifically wheat flour and they put yellow stickers with new Preis on expiry date label. when we ask about expiry date then they told us we didn't do this and also told that they came from manufacturer. If those products came from manufacturers and this shopkeeper didn't know about this. Impossible !!!!!

It was overall good. They have variety of indian spices, sweets ,vegetables and so many other things etc. These all are fresh .....and tasty. It is near to Essen Railway Station. You can reach there easily. I like this place. They have very good prices for things. I recommend this place to other visitors/people .

Unhöfliches, arrogantes Personal, schrecklicher Hygienestandard. Obwohl ich als Inderin ohne Chillis, Atta und Masalas nicht kochen kann, werde ich nie wieder zu diesem Laden gehen, und das nur aufgrund der Unfreundlichkeit des Personals. Good selection of products that are not so easy to find elsewhere and prices are good. Indian sweets available, plus frozen and fresh goods. Great selection of teas which is good news for us Brits. I marked them down though because the staff are so rude and discourteous - no hello, thank you or goodbye.

Unbedingt Beleg fordern und prüfen. Man wird dort gerne mal übers Ohr gehauen und die Dame an der Kasse "vertut" sich eben schnell (aber regelmäßig) um ein paar Euro - und dann gibt es komischerweise keinen Beleg. Daher immer sich selbst vorher ausrechnen was es kostet.

Wahnsinn´s Laden. Riesen Auswahl an exotischen Importprodukten. Produkte die in den regulären Supermärkten teilweise das zehnfache kosten.(wenn erhältlich) Das Personal ist super Freundlich und hilfsbereit.
