"Big scrub land with several walking tracks, all gravel"
"A real surprise to find this bush setting right in the middle of suburbia"
Beautiful nature reserve in the north eastern suburbs of Melbourne, with various trails to walk and explore. Great for families, there are little areas where kids can play within the environment. Was hoping to see some kangaroos but unfortunately they were hiding the day I went. However there is a large range of other wildlife to see, such as birds and frogs. It is also mostly flat.
I lived in Bundoora for almost 5 years and this is the first time I come here. Honestly, I would come much earlier if I knew about it before. There are a few tracks inside to walk in, besides, you can go deep in the forest if you like to watch wildlife. I would encourage everyone lives in the nearby areas to visit it . …
Beautiful, peaceful and calm place to get away from the daily hustle and bustle and stressful daily routines. Admire nature's beauty. Listen to the birds whistling and chirpong. Enjoy the wind breeze. Be thankful to God for every single moment of life. I highly recommend this place to all nature lovers.
Big scrub land with several walking tracks, all gravel. Can be boggy during winter. It's a nature reserve with kangaroos and many birds. School groups walk through here regularly. Dogs are prohibited. Closest reserve to my home, good for exercise.
A real surprise to find this bush setting right in the middle of suburbia. A huge range of birds make their home here and a pod of kangaroos were spotted on our visit. From dense scrub to more open grassed areas, even a billabong, this
This is a really great wildlife reserve, it's very peaceful for a lovely brisk walk, and their are different trails that take you around the circumference of the reserve, you can also see a bunch of Kangaroos here as well.
This is a beautiful place if u would like some piece n quiet n just to hear the birds chirping the kangaroos jumping n just a beautiful smell of fresh air breath it all in and soak up the sun loving life
Great bushland reserve within greater Melbourne for trail running. Spent a morning running around all the trails. Its not very attractive for things like picnics and the like but great to get active in.
Just wonderful to see how park volunteers love this place. Went for a Saturday morning tour today and it was lotsafun! Great information and appreciated more this small park from stories of our guide.
I enjoyed visiting this reserve, however I found it somehow difficult to go through with my kids and their pram. Plus I went there because I heard there’s kangaroos around but have not seen any.
A beautiful walk through an environmental rehabilitation forest, with a kids play area and BBQ facilities at the north end. It makes my day more peaceful after wandering through the reserve
A beautiful relaxing place for a walk, to reflect, enjoy the birdsong, watch the kangaroos grazing.

I saw treehouses, bee hives, kangaroos, Utes, kookaburras, wildflowers, goonbags, and creeks. It was mostly awesome. Some crackheads though.
Nice place to be. I didn't see any wildlife at that moment but sometimes there will be well maintained and nice to visit. …

I grew up playing and exploring this bushland what a great place and fantastic to see so many people walking all the tracks.
No kangaroos there when I visited. And many burnt trees along the track. Better have more signposts for visitors
Very beautiful and calm

Nice sub urban forest area close to La Trobe. Don't miss the wallabies!
Well maintained, local wildlife always around and can walk safely.
Get lost here, so much to look at, won't be disappointed.
