The best spicy margarita in Adelaide hands down. Inviting and nothing but a smile on the dial. Matty one of the big chiefs behind the bar is a perfectionist. The knowledge and craftsmanship of the cocktail making is irrefutable. Every cocktail ingredient, weather it’s a high quality gin like Laneway, a nicely served whisky or tequila, Matty and the Alfred will put the a diploma of cocktail mastery on to your table with the perfect mix of flavors to match. The bar is a great size. The mezzanine is a great place to book a private party. The tunes are on point. The combination of bar and street hangs are seconds to none. The Alfred is a stand out bar compared to the competition on peel st. You can’t go wrong

Arrived at Alfred’s realised I had dropped my face mask somewhere and went to order a drink to take straight outside , was very apologetic to the bar tender who was also not wearing a mask, rudely explained to me I was not allowed in the venue without a face mask. We questioned the bar tender to why he wasn’t wearing a mask he responded ‘ I was making a cocktail’. As we were were walking out we could obviously see him talking to the other bar tender about us who also didn’t have a face mask on. Don’t preach laws that you can’t follow in your own place of work. *walked past half an hour later both staff did not have a mask on still.

I went to Alfred’s not expecting much on a Monday night but boy was I wrong. The music was great and the bartenders were incredibly personable and friendly. They made me the best margarita I’ve ever had and the vibe was so much fun. If you’re looking for a chill bar with great drinks this is the bar to go to. Shoutout to the two boys working that night. Incredibly professional and skilled.

It had been awhile since I've been to this bar - formerly Babushska, it has been cleaned up and is a much simpler, cleaner atmosphere. Limited range of cocktails (which we were there for) but staff were very accomodating and still managed to whip up a few (3, but who is counting..?) tasty cocktails. Blueberry martini was amazing. …

Lovely bar, went there with some interstate colleagues who loved the cocktails and vibe, helped also that it was a quiet, wet night and the bar tender was super friendly and great with cocktails, drinks were also very reasonable prices for the location. Will be my new bar of choice when venturing out around Peel Street midweek :)

Just wow! Friendly staff, small wine list but found a great one (and seriously I can be a bit of a princess). Sunday afternoon most are closed and Alfred’s is open and happy to serve you. Give them a go - ask and i believe they will fulfill. We will be back.

Great little spot in Peel street that’s open a bit earlier than most. Great friendly staff. Good drink selection (as you’d expect). Good during spring / summer when you can sit outside.

Just had a delicious little treat... a cocktail with two types of gin, Campari, raspberries and sugar syrup. It was divine. And quite misleading, looking petit but packing a huge punch.

Came past early on a rainy day and was great. Space was nice, sat upstairs, staff were polite and price of drinks were reasonable. Happy i went down Peel St.

Amazing Drinks and Staff. Atmosphere is incredible. Fiona and the staff at the bar are so accommodating. They make out of this world drinks.

Smallish range of drinks compared to others on the street, few craft beers and a small selection of whisky but the cocktails aren't too bad.

Cosy little bar with cool vibes, friendly staff and great drinks. Should 100% be on your list of watering holes, highly recommended!
